Chapter 1
Jamais vu.. do you know what it means?.. it's the opposite feeling of the famous phrase Déjà Vu..
It's the feeling of having familiarity with things or people or situations you have never encountered, seen, experienced or even known.
Isn't it weird when we feel familiar to things we are unfamiliar to.. it's kind of creepy too.. I felt it a few times.. it kind of freaked me out internally.. how would you react if you felt this way?

Taehyung said while admiring the magnificent castle he just moved in.

Taehyung stop jumping around! [Says while bringing a box inside]

You can have a look around this creepy castle after we are settled. [Keeps the box down]
Yoongi was annoyed by the younger’s antics because the younger hasn’t stopped speaking about this castle and this particular town they have moved in ever since he had found its pictures on the internet.

Aish.. this grumpy hyung [Starts helping Yoongi with the boxes]

I don’t complain when he is lazing around so why is he complaining when I am expressing my joy.

I’m only helping him cause I don’t want to hear his rants.

Oh wait!.. I didn’t even introduce myself!

I am Kim Taehyung.. 28 years old and a decently known writer and Min Yoongi is my manager.

You might be wondering why am I so excited.. well for the starters.. I love gothic style.

And this castle is exactly that.

And don’t even get me started with this town.. even though I haven’t explored the town by myself yet, but the pictures of this town I found on the internet were enough for me to choose this place for writing my next work.

I needed an inspiration for my next novel and I feel this town-‘Wisteria’ is going to give me exactly that.

Though it was not a simple task to get the permission to stay in this town and more importantly to stay in this magnificent castle, I guess it was worth it.
Kim Taehyung
But this town is a bit strange too.
Kim Taehyung
All the tourist reviews I read about it said that they weren't allowed to stay in the town for more than a week, and only the people who come here for professional purposes can stay longer.. that is till their work finishes and then even they have to bid their goodbyes to this town as soon as possible.

It’s as if the town residents don’t want any outsider to live on their soil.
Kim Taehyung
But apart from this, the reviews even stated that most of the people of the town were extremely humble.

Even if they were allowed to stay only for a week, the ambiance of the town didn't let them leave disappointed.

Tomorrow I'm gonna start exploring the town and I'm so damn excited!
Chapter 2

These are so beautiful

They look like antiques

Well you can call them that.

These are not antiques but the exact replicas of the original.

Is it even legal to sell the replicas?
Salesman
In Wisteria it is, as they are the replica of one of the pieces of our heritage.
Salesman
Would you like to buy one young man?
Kim Taehyung
Oh.. yeah. I would like to take the white one.
Kim Taehyung
So here I am.. exploring the market of Wisteria the very next day.
Kim Taehyung
The market is so lively even though it’s just morning.
Kim Taehyung
I guess the people here are early birds and they made me one too.
Kim Taehyung
Around 6:30 in the morning I could hear loud noises of drums.

I heard it clearly even though the castle I rented is up the hill.. and because of it I almost fell off my bed.

It was so sudden.
Kim Taehyung
I guess they were celebrating a festival or something.
Kim Taehyung
Anyways.. as I drove through the town towards the market, I could see why this town is famous.
Kim Taehyung
The residents have preserved their architecture so well.
Kim Taehyung
And a thought striked my mind for the plot of my next novel, it will have the aesthetics of the fantasy core.

Exactly like this town.
Kim Taehyung
I have travelled a lot but have never come across a place that feels alive.
Kim Taehyung
I may sound so stupid but it feels as if I’m walking on a living being.. as if the soil I walk on is alive, the wind that brushes past me has unheard whispers trapped within, the sky I walk below is watching over me and my every action.. as if.. the town is an actual person.. as if it’s.. alive.

Something like this would make you feel scared because of the feeling of being stalked or watched with every step you take.
Kim Taehyung
But instead of being scared I’m feeling.. safe?.. or maybe.. protected? Shouldn’t I be wary of my surroundings in a foreign place?

And I’ve spoke about this with a few locals by saying them how safe this town has made me feel just within a day; and strangely they replied by saying Wisteria protects everyone who takes a shelter in her just like a mother.

Did they just personify a town without me mentioning about how I felt the town seems alive?
Kim Taehyung
Well it might just be my overthinking brain. Many people personify the place they stay at. Right?
* Personify: To represent or speak of a non living thing as having life or personality; i.e. to represent it as a person. *
Chapter 3
As Taehyung drove around Wisteria he understood why the town is called so.. almost the whole border of this town is covered with Wisteria trees making it look like a purple haven.
He suddenly stopped his car by the road side and stepped out of his car.
Kim Taehyung
I don’t know why I stopped my car and started walking towards the forest of Wisteria’s.
Kim Taehyung
There might be wild animals in the forest but I’m not able control to my feet.
Kim Taehyung
I just want to walk in that direction and I don’t even know why.
As he walked ahead deeper into the forest he came across a huge Wisteria tree.
This particular tree seemed like the largest one present there.
Below that tree many exhausted candles could be seen.
And as he moved closer he noticed there were many engravings on the trunk of the tree.
They were not words but instead symbols, like hieroglyphs.
Those symbols covered half of the trunk and had deep shade of red along the carved lines.
He was confused with what was it but on closer inspection he found out that it was..

Dried blóód!!
Kim Taehyung
The hell is this?.. Where the fćk did I land myself?
Kim Taehyung
Oh lord.. Is this a serial killer’s way of doing his mùrdèrs?.. or.. Did I walk in on someone’s witćhćraft?
Kim Taehyung
Will I get cúrséd now?!
As soon as they see something which is even slightly different from their general social norms they term it as evil.. cursed.. bad entity..
I don’t think there’s an answer for that question.
And if there is one, then I think only one answer is apt.. that is, that’s the nature of human beings.
Any thing different from them or their thoughts is dangerous and evil.
And Taehyung was no different.
As soon he realised that it was dried blóód he retreated his steps and ran towards the direction from where he entered the forest.
Soon he came out of the forest and hopped into his car and drove away without looking back even for once.
Min Yoongi
Where were you since morning? [He asked Taehyung as soon as the younger walked in while he sat on the couch of the living room while going through some final drafts]
Min Yoongi
You didn’t even inform me before leaving.
Kim Taehyung
Oh that.. I.. I just went out to the market.
Kim Taehyung
Sorry I forgot to inform you beforehand.
Min Yoongi
Well I’ll be leaving for Seoul in a few minutes.
Min Yoongi
Enjoy your vacation. Don’t need to think too much about the next novel as you already have a sequel of your previous novel being released in a few weeks.
Min Yoongi
Just relax yourself.

Yeah.. bye.. [Said as he went upstairs towards his room]
Taehyung was still in a daze as couldn’t stop overthinking about the dried blóód he saw back in the forest.
