Still Learning To Love You
Introduction
In almost every single country, there is at least one god governing the nation.
Whenever a god has gotten too exhausted, a new god would take over.
For countries that have multiple gods, such as Japan, their successors are being trained in a special school in order for them to know the basics of godhood.
In the special school, all classes are relatively normal except for one.
That specific class is for successors who are deemed as defects and unworthy of godhood.
This class is called the Delusion Section.
They are expected to go through turmoil and torture of every single kind.
The process of training usually takes 4 years if a successor is in a regular class.
Having one’s class stuck in the Delusion Sector is the equivalent of being stuck in the first year for eternity.
The only way for a class to get out of the Delusion Sector is if they manage to prove themselves worthy throughout the trials they’re given.
Due to their status as defects, the other classes love to pick on them.
Time to introduce the main leads (other characters will be introduced way later)
Name: Akasaka Akira (ML)
Class: Delusion Section
Status: Fallen God of the Past (successor of the current God of Fire)
Personality: A kind-hearted brute and a nice class leader. He’s not that intelligent but he always uses his strength for his class’s benefit.
Name: Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
Class: Delusion Section
Status: Impure Goddess of the Future (successor of the current God of Wind)
Personality: Supposedly cold, doesn’t really care about her class. She is a rather intelligent girl with a lot to hide.

Episode 1: The Dreaded First Day
Classmate 1
I am sooo not looking forward to even having class.
Classmate 2
I was constantly bullied on the way here, aren’t there other Delusion Sector classes to pick on? Are we the only class the normal people can pick on? Shouldn’t there be more than just us?
Akasaka Akira (ML)
*enters the classroom and proceeds to sit in one of the back seats*
Classmate 1
*Huh, he doesn’t seem too bad*
Classmate 2
*looking at Akira in awe*
Classmate 3
*whispering to his seatmate* I heard he’s a real dumbass but I heard he’s hella strong.
Classmate 4
*whispers* I think he’s alright, let’s just hope he’s not some sort of delinquent or anything.

*enters the classroom and sits next to Akira*

*takes out a book from her bag and starts reading*
Classmate 3
*still whispering* Isn’t she one of the more intelligent people in this class?
Classmate 4
Yeah but I did hear that the reason why she’s here is that she has personality issues.
After a few minutes, a teacher enters the classroom.
Teacher
Good morning, I’ll be your homeroom teacher for your entire stay in this classroom. I’m pretty sure all of you already know why you’re here.
Classmate 5
Of course we do, a lot of us got bullied on our way here.
Teacher
All of you are deemed as defects and all of you will be staying here until everyone, and I mean everyone, manages to become worthy of being successors to the current gods.
Teacher
Your class has to work together to try and improve one another in order for you to finally be on par with the other classes. You’ll be having rather special classes.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
We’ll definitely work together, let’s do it! I’m sure we can get out of here in no time!
Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
What wishful thinking *still reading her book*
The entire class turned to Mirai with shocked expressions on their faces.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
HEY!!! NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO BE READING A BOOK!!!
Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
And so? Why should I care? I’ll just do well on the exams and that’ll be the only contribution I’ll make to this class. Whatever happens…well, happens.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
*stands up to approach Mirai* You’re a real bitch, aren’t you?
Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
*puts away her book* What are you going to do? Hit me?
Akasaka Akira (ML)
Ugh *didn’t have the guts to throw a punch at her*
Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
What a hassle…stop wasting my time *reads her book again*
Teacher
Mr. Akasaka, please return to your seat.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
*grumbles as he returns to his seat while constantly glaring at Mirai*
Teacher
The only objective for today is to elect a class president and vice president. The twist is that nominees are not allowed to decline their nominations.
Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
*muttering* Great, just great…I’m sure no one is stupid enough to nominate me.
Classmate 1
I nominate Akasaka-kun for the role of class president.
The rest of the class seemed to agree with this nomination, his strength would serve as a great contribution.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
I nominate Miyamoto for the role of class vice president *proceeds to smirk at Mirai*
Classmate 2
Why would you even pick her?
Akasaka Akira (ML)
It is clear that she is the most intelligent person in this class. I’m sure that her intellect will serve us well in the future, don’t you think?
The class: Yeah, it makes sense.
Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
You’ve got to be kidding me….
Teacher
Looks like it’s quite obvious who won so may the newly elected class officers please come to the front.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
*stands up and approaches Mirai* Well, you don’t have a choice now, do you?
Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
*stands up and rolls her eyes* Whatever.
The two officers introduce themselves and the class cheers. Everyone seemed to be happy except for Mirai herself.
Episode 2: What May Lie Ahead
Classes went on like normal and when class ended, all the students headed to their dorms. A lot of the students in the Delusion Sector were the last to be assigned in a dorm.
Mirai was unlucky enough to have all the girls’ dorms full. She had to share a dorm with the boys. Coincidentally, she was assigned to Akira’s dorm.

Ugh, looks like I’m stuck with you….again.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
Tell me about it *slightly rolls eyes*
The dormitory was as big as a house. It had two floors and all the rooms on the upper floors were full so Akira and Mirai had to share the bottom floor.
The bottom floor only had the kitchen and the dining room, so they both had to sleep on the floor.
Mirai laid down on the kitchen floor while Akira laid down a few feet away from her.

You better stay there. If I see you move an inch closer, I won’t hesitate to resort to violence.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
I won’t.
The two proceeded to fall asleep on the warm floor.
The next day rolled around and all of the students were called for an assembly. The Delusion Sector was subjected to disgusted stares from the other classes and their homeroom teachers.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
Don’t be intimidated by their stares everyone, we’ll do our best to be on par with them.
Miyamoto Mirai (FL)
*rolls her eyes* Whatever he said
The assembly discussed the upcoming events. Apparently, there was going to be a sports festival and even class field trips. Everyone howled in excitement except the Delusion Sector.
A good number of people in the only Delusion Section were pretty horrible at sports and they didn’t know what the class trip would hold for them.
Akasaka Akira (ML)
Wait, the announcer hasn’t said everything, don’t be down so quickly.
The announcer proceeded to say that the sports festival would be a pair work and that each pair would compose of students from different classes.
This just caused the same Delusion Section to groan even louder, it was clear that none of the people in the other classes would be willing to work with them on friendly terms.

Well well, this surely sounds interesting.
Of course, Mirai wasn’t affected because it was clear she wouldn’t cooperate with just about anyone or that’s what she made it seem like at least.
After a few hours, all the classes returned to their respective classrooms to have their classes.
