We weren't married out of love but rather a business deal between our fathers. I was told that I should be grateful I married a man my age instead of some old man, but I never felt grateful. I was married off or should I say sold off to the Italian Mafia. My husband was the don a very cold one might I add. He never truly cared for me and for three years I was abandoned. I loved him with all my heart but all he saw was a snobby rich spoiled little girl. I had thought that maybe he might just be feeling the pressure of our marriage, but I was wrong he just didn't care about me and only cared about my surname. I never asked him to love me back, but I thought he would be at least loyal to me but once again I was wrong.

It was five years ago when I still cared about him. My husband rarely came to see me and when he did, he only came to sleep with me. It was his birthday and as the good wife I was I baked him a cake and brought it to his office along with some flowers. I was allowed in because I was his wife, but I wish I wasn't. I took his private elevator and went to his office he didn't know as I wanted it to be a surprise. As I neared his office I heard some sounds,, but I didn't pay attention to it,, but the sounds just got louder and louder and as I opened the door I saw my husband and an unknown woman in an intimate position. They both turned to face me and I swear I saw anger and disgust pass through his eyes.

"What are u doing here" he shouted "and who let you in" he continued

"What the hell is going on here, and as your wife I'm allowed to be here"I said snapping out of daze.

"Are u blind what do u think I'm doing stupid" he said, and I stormed off angrily.

As I was leaving I heard the woman ask who I was,, and he replied "no one important let's continue". I felt heartbroken, and I headed straight home after throwing the cake into the trash. I packed up my suitcase with my clothes and I took all my cards and cash. As a mafia wife I was not allowed to work, but I had college degrees and a lot of savings. The money is enough to last me about five years without me working if I spent it wisely. I was done packing by evening, so I took one last walk around the house before I left.

As I boarded the vehicle that would take me to the airport I called my lawyer and asked him to send divorce papers to my husband. I didn't want anyone to track me so I threw my phone out the window, and it fell into a nearby lake. But what I didn't expect was to be taking something extra along with me.
