(Ian washes the dishes and cleans up). I have to get some groceries before it goes dark.

Mom I'm going to the mart real quick, be back soon. {quickly puts on his shoes and goes out before locking the door}. {walking to the supermarket and spots a suspicious car parked in the corner}.

Till he reaches the last item, however before he gets it a huge hand reached out and they both hold on to the lays chip.

Ian looks up, and it's a tall figure hovering over him. He's intimidated a little, but keeps his guard.

Ian: Sir i grab this first can you let go. (it was the last lays chip) {grabs tightly}

Jian Xuan: ...{looks down on the short feeble man}

Ian: can you let go {glance side to side with his eyes looking confused and anxious}

Ming ming(friend): you look handsome in that tight suit.

Ian: haha, thank you. By the way how's James, I heard he got into a car accident.

Ming ming: He's fine, the doctor said he got some minor injuries nothing serious, all he needs is some bed rest, and he'll be up and about.

(James is ming boyfriend of four years planning to get married soon)

Ian: I'm glad he's fine. {smile}

Ming ming: Well you better get your shift started i don't want the others complaining about special treatment.

Ian: yeah yeah. {walks out and goes being the counter already prepping the drinks}

Suddenly a voice is heard, "hi sexy" {Ian looks up, and it's a regular} (Ian sighed and rolled back his eyes when he saw that it was this persistent fool)

Ian walks out his room and saw his mother preparing breakfast. A sudden sadness engulfs him has he recalls the doctor informing him of his sickly mother condition. Apparently it has gotten worse but not to the point of being bedridden, hopefully not he thought.

Ian: Mom have you not heard what the doctor said, you shouldn't be doing such….

Su Li: (interrupt) Ian it's fine, it's not anything vigorous don't worry about it. Besides, I get tired in this tight up house doing nothing all day. Just allow it for once, Please {puppy eyes}

Ian:{sighs} fine just this once, also don't forget we got to go for your checkup this weekend.

Ian:{Chuckled} Goodbye mom I have to go to work before am late, first day on the job got a make a good impression.

(Ian gets on a bus that head toward the city H, from there he travels on a train so that he arrives on time. This is Ian second time in city H which is close to the rural area he lives in. A month ago he applied for a job at a popular café, and finally he got a response in which they accepted him. Ian is enthusiasm about this opportunity not only will he gain some working experience, but he'll also be able to pay his mom medical fees because apparently the job pays well)

(Door bells ring has Ian steps in) At then the café was not yet opened for business.

Dan Lu: Hey, you must be the new staff.

Ian: Yes, I'm Ian it's nice to meet you.

Dan Lu: It's nice to meet you too, name's Dan Lu, but everyone calls me Liam for some reason. Right follow me this way please.

(leads the way to the cooking area)

Dan Lu: So this is the kitchen area our cooks haven't arrived yet, but you'll be introduced to them later on.

{Ian nods}

(Both move to the locker room)

Dan Lu: Here are the lockers, each staff have their own locker, here is the key to your locker it's over there in the corner.

(Now they are in the resting area)

Dan Lu: This here is the resting area. We usually come in here when where on break, that's pretty much all.

Ian: Ok... so can you tell me how things works around here.

Dan Lu: Of course, {Start walking to cashier desk, Ian follows} so what you'll be doing is managing the cashier, taking orders and making coffee. The manger is mostly never here but occasionally comes to check up on us. We work form 8 to 3 (now is 7:30), and some of us do rotation.

(Teaches Ian how to manage the cashier, how to take orders from customers and how to make coffee good. During that time some staffs have already arrived and start preparation)

The store is now open and already customers have shown up not even two minutes after. It was very business and bustling in the café. Being Ian firsts time working a cashier and taking orders at the same time, it was quite difficult for him to adjust, but after a while he got used to it.

(break) Now after the rush hour had finish Ian took a break to eat something as he didn't eat anything for breakfast. He had a buffalo sandwich which he truly enjoyed with a cup of coco milk. Has he enjoys his delight someone approaches him...

Ian looks up as he heard a familiar voice but once he sees Jian Xuan he became shock.

They both stood silently has they recognize each other. For some reason they both felt a connection like they have known each other there whole live. Staring into the other party eyes they got butterflies in there stomach and were blushing madly like they just found their true love, until a annoyed customer breaks the ice.

Customer: Hello can you hurry up with your order, some of us don't have all day here...tsk(annoyed tone)

Ian: Yes. right .away sir, sorry, cappuccino right{blush}

Jian Xuan: Yes{blushes lightly}

(Finish order)

Ian: That will be 200 yuan please

Jian Xuan: (gives payment)

Has Ian passes on the cappuccino to Jian they both graze their hand against each other and felt a strange tingly feeling inside, which made Ian lower his head a bit.

Jian Xuan walks out still blushing from the interaction while Ian slightly rise his head and watch Jian walks out and briefly smile.

Customer: So are you gonna take my order or what(Still annoyed)

The store closes up for the day and everyone goes home. As soon as Ian reached home he took a bath and went straight to bed. However, he can't stop thinking about Jian Xuan.

Jian Xaun is in the company working on some important documents but he can't stop having lingering thoughts about ian and wondered if they were not in the café would things have turned out differently.
