MIRAGE-1
Blood was smeared all over the room, The walls were painted red and the only person who was alive there was him, An insanely tall well-built man holding a dagger in one hand and a gun in another hand.
I was so frightened to see this whole scene that I unconsciously dropped my stethoscope from my grip and this silly mistake I knew was about to cost me my life. I immediately started to run when I saw him turning back exactly in the direction where I was secretly peaking at him, He already knew my presence and as I was running to save my life I heard loud running footsteps approaching me. My breath was all out already and seeing him too close to catching me I gave my all so that I could escape this deathly night.
He grabbed my arm like a hungry lion and within a second I was lying on the ground. I was terrified but still, I managed to look up at him while keeping my hands up just to play safe as he loaded his gun and aimed at me.
My eyes met his keen bloody eyes which was the only thing I could see from his well-covered face was all focused on me and waiting to see me dead. He brought his gun closer to my forehead and my strong-willed self shattered within a blink.
Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs
I... I.. Didn't do anything wrong... Why do you have to kill me? (asks in a stuttering tone)
Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs
I never did wrong to anyone...Who are you? (cries out slowly)
He didn't even reply to me but after hearing my questions I saw his finger slowly making its way toward the trigger which made my heart beat die and I felt my vision getting blurry.

Don't kill me..... (whispers before blacking out)

(squats down on the ground while putting his gun back)

(observes her body from head to toe)
He noticed her ID card, and he immediately picked it up.

SARIAH! (speaks her name in his deep tone to himself after reading it from her ID card)

A Surgeon, but still so fragile. (whispers to himself while keeping her ID card to himself)
He stood up and after taking another glance at her he left the place leaving her in the same position.

(opens her eyes and wakes up frightenedly)
She looked everywhere while taking heavy breaths as she didn't understand how she was on the hospital bed not dead.

(tries to remember everything)
Marylin(Nurse)
Doctor Sariah, Are you all right?
Sariah comes out of her deep thinking when she hears the nurse calling her.

How did I end up here?
Marylin(Nurse)
You were found unconscious on the fourth floor of the surgery block, so the management admitted you. Are you alright? Why did you go to that floor at night?

Sariah left her cabin and went to see the surgery block's OT where she saw that man killing a group of people mercilessly.
When she reached the same location she found nothing. Even the blood-stained walls were white and everything was like nothing happened last night which confused her as she knew she hadn't dreamed last night but how there was no evidence?!

* just wait, and watch Mr killer, let me reach home and tell the security department to give me the footage of the fourth floor and you're done. *

While she was trying to figure out the scene she didn't know she was being watched.
Sariah left the hospital in her car but her mind was struck by who he was. Why did he kill so many people? And how was everything so clean in the morning?
Man-1
Sir, She came to check the fourth floor and she even asked for the CCTV footage.

(smirks) Don't worry about her because she won't find anything.

But if she keeps nagging, she will be killed soon.

So Mr killer already figured it out... He deleted the footage, and he even covered up the whole scene.
While she was disappointingly grabbing her head, She got a call from the hospital, so she had to rush back.
She reached the hospital but this time she faced another problem.

Damn where is my ID card... (says while searching it inside her bag)

It's not here.... (exhales frustratingly)
Sariah tries to negotiate with security, but he doesn't let her go.
Security:- Mam sorry I can't let you enter without your ID card.

A man got into an accident and there as per the case, a surgeon is needed, so Doctor Jordan wants you to go there with the rescue team.

Sariah sat inside the car and left for the location, but she was unaware of what was waiting for her there.

Sariah reached the location after an hour and when she observed the place she sensed something was off as the place was on the outskirts of the town and rural but she still focused her mind on her work.
Sariah told the one medical staff to bring her kit while she went inside ahead in the farmhouse that was in front of her.
Just when she was about to open a door she saw first, A manly voice from behind grasped her attention and she slowly turned back to look.
Man-1
Don't go there, Come with me! (tells her in a threatened tone)
Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs
(scans him and doesn't get a good vibe from him from the way he was dressed up and his tone)

Are you with the patient? (asks him in a stiff tone while following him to the dark gallery)
The man didn't answer her and soon they reached the room which didn't have a door only an entrance, The man stood aside and gestured for Sariah to go inside.
Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs
(stayed at the entrance for a second and finally entered the room)
When Sariah stepped inside and walked more she found that it wasn't a room, but a large abandoned underground having few flickering lights.
Her body tensed up as soon as she came in contact with the basement's air. She stopped herself from taking more steps inside as she could see something like a human figure sitting on a chair in the middle of the room.
Shivers ran across her body when she turned to leave as she saw more than six men blocking the entrance and she knew the moment she connected the dots from being called to this place to inside this big basement, she was trapped in.
She knew she didn't have a choice but to walk in and see who trapped her.
But she was horrified when she reached the center of the basement. She saw that the human figure she saw from some distance was a badly bleeding man tied to a chair with a rope.
Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs
(words stuck in her throat as she saw him from closer)
Man-1
Treat him and make sure he doesn't die. (orders her in a loud tone)
Sᴀʀɪᴀʜ Vᴀsɪʟɪᴏs
B... But who? Who is he? And Who are you? Who did this to him? (asks in a stuttering tone)
Man-1
Treat him now else you will be in his place! (threatens her with a gun)
Sariah tried to stay collected and hopeful and thought if she treated him she could go so she immediately did a nerve check on that person and found he was already dead which parched her soul.
Man-1
Why are you just standing and not doing anything?! (yells at her harshly)

(startled) He..
Man-1
What? (asks her while pointing a gun at her)

He... He's dead already. (tells him in a shuddering tone)
Man-1
Make him alive anyhow otherwise I will kill you. (threatens her loudly while putting the gun directly between her eyebrows)

(stumbles and falls on the ground by his sudden action)
Man-1
(sits on the ground while she wriggles back)

(The back touches the cold iron of a broken chair)

Let me go. (says to him in a scared tone)
Man-1
Do you think that I will let you go from here this easily, Doctor? (says while sitting loosely on the ground and smiling creepily at her)

That person was dead already, so I can't do anything about this, Please let me go I won't tell anybody about this. (says to him in a lamenting tone)
She thought he might let her go if she kept pleading with him, but it turned out exactly the opposite. That man ordered someone to bring a rope and tie her to another chair which made her lose all hope at once.
She out cried when she saw a man holding a long bundle of rope coming towards her.
Man-1
Let's tie her and enjoy for now. (declares loudly)
Man with the rope:- where will you go? I will hunt you down chick. (says while coming towards her)
She shiveringly stood up while holding the iron chair behind her and tried to run away from the man who was reaching for her to tie her down but when she ran a few steps to reach the another door on the other side of the basement while constantly checking if he was coming towards her but in this chase she banged herself into someone broad and super tall for her height.
She smelled a dark yet deep mesmerizing cologne in the dirty atmosphere which immediately shocked her, She stayed closer to him for a few more seconds as something clicked in her brain and finally stood at the left and looked at the tall figure she just bumped into.
She immediately knew she had seen these sharp keen eyes before and when she hit her memory spot while taking her steps away from him, she remembered the night and the man in front of her resembled the man exactly so by now she assumed he was the boss of whatever happened here. But, She never expected he would look this handsome without his face covered, but the bitter truth was he was a skilled handsome killer.

Why are you here? (asks in a deep tone while keenly looking at her)

(entangled her hands tightly at her back so that he could only see her front)
She knew he also remembered her of course he was the one who didn't kill her after knocking her down that night. Maybe he showed her mercy, but she knew couldn't expect him to show mercy anymore, especially at the place where if he buried her alive no one would ever know.

I saw you killing that night that's why you trapped me all the way here. So, Why are you questioning me like I came here by myself?! (says loudly to him in a pretending to be fearless tone)

(stood strong while legs were trembling)
Man with the rope: - (stopped after seeing him)

(gulps harder) Sir Big Boss told me to send her name.
Eliseo immediately understood why Big Boss sent her here and just when he looked down to take his phone out from his jacket, He found Sariah standing next to him while aiming a gun directly at his forehead.
Yes, Sariah secretly pulled the small revolver from Eliseo's back when she bumped into him and kept it behind her back all this time.
Every man there was so shocked when they saw her aiming a gun at him that everybody immediately pointed their gun at her.

Don't you all dare to come even a bit closer to me otherwise I'll pull the trigger. (warns loudly while her heartbeat races like a horse)

(squints his eyes slightly towards her and smirks sharply underneath)

Drop your guns now, or I will shoot! (warns loudly while threatening them by sticking the gun more at the side of his forehead)

Drop your guns now. (orders in a deep attentive yet calm tone)

Everybody dropped their guns and Sariah started to take Eliseo out with herself from the other entrance thinking she would escape, but she was unaware of the result she brought on herself with her stupid action.
Sariah successfully bought Eliseo on the point of the gun outside that basement and at a long distance from the place she was kept but that entrance led her to some deserted area where she could only see long barks of trees and the sun already setting down.

(gulped harder while looking around and still aiming her gun towards him)

He was trying harder to be calm and deal politely with her but she wasn't ready to listen to him which was challenging his long-suppressed anger to jump out and finish her within seconds.
While he was on the verge of losing his anger his phone vibrated, and he moved his hand to pick up that call but when Sariah saw him moving his hand, She thought he was taking his other gun out so out of fear she pulled the trigger with her trembling hands.

(shocked while his calm state disappeared, and he angrily looked at her with his killing eyes)

(slowly opened her eyes to see if she hit him by any chance)
The bullet unfortunately didn't hit Eliseo but on the ground and till now from judging Eliseo's changed orbs from calm to deadly she knew she could be killed by him anytime.
Eliseo started to walk towards her and seeing him coming closer she wasn't left with another choice, but to again point the gun she had towards him but soon she noticed he wasn't even stopping after this which made her tremble so bad she again put her finger on the trigger and aimed perfectly at him.

S... Stop at your place or... (warns him in a wailing tone while holding the gun straight towards him)
Eliseo didn't fear her and stood exactly in front of her while she kept taking her steps backward.
When she was taking her steps back continuously she found out that she had already reached the end of the path because after that it was a deep trench with a dead end. So, She has to stop and prepare herself to shoot anytime if he tries to come closer to her.
Eliseo stood exactly in front of her and she immediately pulled the trigger, but her soul left her body when she heard that empty gun's sound.

(eyes widened that she kept looking up at him and towards the gun while her breathing was unstable)

(starts to go closer towards her while looking at her with expressionless eyes)

But just when she was about to take another step forgetting about the deep trench Eliseo grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to himself while she kept shivering badly and weeping silently with her closed eyes.

I'm sorry that I aimed the gun at you even though I shot, but believe me I never intended to shoot at you... I just wanted you to stay at a distance but you kept coming..... (weeps out everything loudly)

You can cry as much as you want but in heaven. (says while taking out a revolver from his jacket's inside pocket and aiming at her)

No, I don't want to die, leave me and I assure you... You won't see me again.... (pleads while being on her knees in front of him)
She kept pleading with him and at a certain point Eliseo realized that for the first time, he had to re-think that if he really wanted to kill her.
Eliseo knew she had seen him that night and was a big threat to him also the big boss already sent her here to be dead but despite all of these he wasn't able to know why he was thinking too much before killing her as it wasn't the first time he was going to kill someone.
After thinking a lot, Finally Eliseo decided to do something that would decide and ease to make him decide her kill.
