I can't move! I stood still, watching the person I never thought Zeus is. I regretted why I even drank. Zeus is right in front of me. Why him?! My God, I'm not ready for this. The last thing I knew was everything turned pitch black and I lost consciousness.

I woke up on a soft bed. I was in a very huge room with a big veranda. I stood up and went there. It's still dark outside. What time is it and where am I? I saw an old style wall clock and it says it's two in the morning and I'm still in my red long gown. I went back to the bed to sit down and remember everything that happened.

The fireworks display was launched by 10:30 last night, so it means I've been out for several hours. Crap! I guess I am in this mansion which is a counterfeit of hell for me. Zeus brought me here after I passed out. The door opened and Zeus came in. He approached me and sat on the chair beside the bed. God, I really can't imagine that he is Zeus.

"How do you feel, Amber?" he asked me. He wasn't wearing his mask and I could clearly see his whole face. The face that I never thought would be causing all this fear in me.

"I feel like I'm dead. Why, Cooler? I thought you were just a simple vacationer who's stupid enough to jump in front of a bullet for me," I said to him. Yep, he's Cooler. The one that I met at Summer Island. The same Cooler who got shot in the cave on Tickle Island. He had a serious expression while looking at me.

"I'm sorry for bringing you here again," he answered me. His handsome face looks straight at me. Damn! Just like Ryu, Cooler is very handsome. Why am I praising them? Yeah, devils like them are not worth praising!

"I still don't understand everything, Cooler, or is it really your name?"

He slightly bowed his head. "Yeah, that's my real name. I may be lying with my identity but that's my real name." He extended his palm towards me. "I'm Cooler Vander."

I looked at his hands but I refused to accept it. He then lowered it realizing that I won't accept it.

"Where's Gray? What did you do to him?" I asked hysterically.

"Don't think too much. We'll never harm a mafia heir."

Did he say mafia heir?

"I-I don't understand, Cooler. Gray?" What is it, some kind of a joke? Because if yes, I'll laugh even if it's not funny.

"You will never understand it, Amber," he said calmly and that's when I burst into tears.

"I WON'T UNDERSTAND BECAUSE YOU NEVER EXPLAIN IT TO ME!" I shouted at him and my tears are running down my face. I don't know why I am crying. I'm already confused with all the events. First, there's Cooler- he's Zeus. And now he's saying that Gray is a mafia heir. I pinched myself and figured out that I wasn't dreaming.

"Fine, I'll give you some idea about it. Gray and I..." He sighed and stared at me for a while before continuing. "...we are siblings." I became even more confused. I thought Gray was an only child, according to Khael and Detective Tross . And now Cooler is saying that they are siblings?!

"Do you remember the first time that we saw each other at Summer Island? It wasn't a coincidence. It's because we were following Gray.

I was even more surprised. So, Gray was the one he went there for?

"What for?" I asked him while wiping away my tears.

"Ryu and I followed him. We just wanted to check on him. Do you remember Gray's expression when he saw me with you for the first time? You were right there, he was angry. He was angry upon seeing me and he was jealous."

"Why? Why is he mad at you?" I asked and he shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know. He doesn't want to live with us after Cronus asked him to. Maybe he doesn't like me."

Everything was very confusing. According to Gray's childhood friend, Khael, his mom is part of the police, but now she's involved with the mafia?

"I thought his parents and grandparents were part of the police?" I want to get a clear picture of everything.

"Yeah. His mother was... And his adoptive father is a small-time businessman."

"H-How did you become siblings? Is he even aware of it?" I continued asking, hoping to understand everything. Oh God, if I don't, I think I'll be losing my mind.

"Our real father is Cronus. Cronus got my mother pregnant with me a year earlier, but he refused to marry her. A year after I was born, Cronus met Gray's mother. They got together and had a child. That's when she found out about the mafia, so she left him and married someone righteous who accepts Gray as his own.I met Gray before , that's why he knew me . "He knows that Cronus is his father. Cronus is fond of him, he's very smart after all. So he keeps on telling him to join the mafia, but it looks like he got his mother's righteous beliefs so he refused. That's all I can say to you."

So that's Gray's story. It seems like he inherited it from his grandfather. He's into justice and fairness at all. That's why Gray sometimes finds him secretive. He really has something in his past.

"Amber, I don't want you to be involved in these things. This is mafia, Amber, and it's dangerous," he said gently but with a hint of threat.

What? But I'm already involved. Is it my fault for pushing more into things? Just when I'm trying to distance myself, they come closer. Who wants to fight against the mafia? I still love my life and I haven't achieved anything in my life yet!

"So Gray also knows Ryu?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"No. He hasn't met Ryu before." That's why it seems like Gray really didn't know Ryu when he first saw him, but it seems like Ryu knows Gray.

Why are you protecting me, Cooler? Ryu said I should have been dead if it wasn't because of you. Why, Cooler?" I asked bravely. That devil wanted to end my life but couldn't because of Zeus. It seems that Zeus has some power and control over the mafia.

"It's because I wanted to, Amber. Not because I know you're always with Gray, but because I just wanted to protect you. You're so weak and breakable." His eyes wandered on my face and he met my gaze, so I looked away.

"I'm not weak!" I quickly replied to him and grabbed the gun on his side. He was too late to stop me. I already got it first and aimed it at him. I pulled the gun's safety latch and Cooler raised both of his hands.

"I see. You're not afraid of a gun now. You never failed to surprise me, Amber."

"Yeah, I have to, to protect myself from you," I replied to him. "Where's Gray? Take me to him." I was surprised how I was able to hold the gun despite shaking.

"I'm sorry, Amber, but I can't. He's probab — "
