The Castle Ghost
Going To Die?
It was a sunny day. The sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky. The birds were chirping. But due to the sunlight a young man's sleep was being disturbed. But that young man wanted to sleep more. He covered himself with the blanket and slept again. But poor him, his alarm started ringing. That man clicked his tongue and sat on the bed. He turned off the alarm. He rubbed his eyes and pouted his lips.

What a pain.
He clicked his tongue. He sighed and got down from his bed. He walked into the bathroom and did his morning routine. Such as, taking a shower, brushing his teeth and washing his face. After that he changed into his outdoor clothes. He walked inside the kitchen and started cooking a nice breakfast for himself.
𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑠𝑎𝑦, 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠 𝑑𝑒𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑝𝑎𝑠𝑡 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑠, 𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑒?
Kevin ate his breakfast and grabbed his keys. He locked the door and walked inside the elevator.
𝐼 𝑔𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑖𝑡 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑏𝑒 𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑒, 𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝐼 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒 𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠 𝑤ℎ𝑖𝑐ℎ 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠𝑛'𝑡 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑒.
Kevin walked inside the company he works in. He went to his floor and sat on his desk. He was greeted by his best friend.

What's up?
Anna took her seat which was right beside Kevin. She looked at Kevin and smiled.

Pretty good. What about you?

Kevin smiled.
𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑟𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑖𝑠𝑡, 𝐼 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤, 𝑚𝑦 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑓𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑜𝑙 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑏𝑒 𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑜. 𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝐼 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑚𝑦 𝑗𝑜𝑏.
After a whole day of working, Kevin was finally free from his work. He turned off the computer, and walked out of the company. He went to the garage, and drove his car out to his house.
He walked inside. He placed the keys on the table and then he took a bath. He made his dinner and then he sat on the couch with his plate full of food. He turned on the TV and watched a movie.
𝐷𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑚𝑦 𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠. 𝐿𝑒𝑡 𝑚𝑒 𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑙 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒.
It was time to go to sleep. Kevin washed the plate and a spoon. He then walked inside his bedroom as he yawned. He laid on his bed and covered himself with a blanket. He looked around his dark room once before closing his eyes.
𝐴𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑦?
Kevin saw himself in a dark forest. Where there was no light. There was no sound of birds or of any animals. He gulped as he looked at the tall trees. He started walking forward. But he saw no one. He kept walking. But then he saw someone, no, a shadow. He gasped when he saw the bloodied face of that man. He ran. He kept running without looking back.
He woke up, in the middle of the night. He gasped. He again looked around the dark room.

Am I going to die?
He sighed and again fell asleep.
A Castle
The next day.
Kevin woke up as his alarm started ringing exactly at 8 o'clock. He turned off the alarm. Sometimes, he feels like breaking the alarm clock because it is so annoying. But again, if he doesn't go to work on time he might get fired by his boss. He did his morning routine. As he was cooking breakfast, he was thinking about the dream he had last night. He had many weird dreams, but this was too weird. He sighed.
𝐼 𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑔𝑒𝑡 𝑖𝑡, 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑚𝑠? 𝐼 𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑎𝑠 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑙, 𝑔𝑜 𝑐𝑟𝑎𝑧𝑦.
After that he went to work. He was again greeted by Anna.

Do you know, our team found an old castle in the forest?
Kevin looked at Anna with his wide eyes.
Kevin Anderson (MC)
A castle? In a forest?
Anna Wintour
Yeah. Cool, right?
Kevin nodded his head in agreement.
Kevin Anderson (MC)
Indeed. How old could it be?
Anna Wintour
At least a century old.
Kevin sighed and leaned his back on the chair. He closed his eyes.

I wish I could visit that castle.

Then he just went to work. In the afternoon, Kevin and the team were called into their boss's cabin.

Yes, sir?
The boss was an old man with gray hair. He had wrinkles on his face but still he had a gentle look and smile. He said, "I guess you all have heard that there is an old castle in the middle of a forest that no one has visited."
All nodded their heads.
"I want you guys to visit that castle."
Kevin smiled. He was happy as he wanted to go there.

I will be glad to visit that place, sir.
The boss smiled and nodded his head. He said, "Good, Kevin. After that I want you guys to search that whole place. It can be dangerous as that place is very old. Our researchers guess it is at least 300 years old."
Kevin and Anna looked at each other. Then they looked at that old man and said,

We have no problem, sir.
Then they walked out of the cabin.

After a whole day, Kevin again went back to his apartment. After bathing and eating he went to sleep.
In his dream.
He found himself in a beautiful field. That field was filled with grasses and flowers. Above his head was a vast and clear blue sky. Such a good day. But then he saw a man running towards him. That man stood in front of him and smiled at him. Kevin smiled back. Such a handsome man. He had black hair and fair skin. His eyes were ocean blue. How beautiful and deep his eyes were. But then that man started to bled from his head, then from his nose, then from his stomach as if someone had stabbed him there, and finally he bleed from his eyes. Kevin was scared, very scared. But that man still had a beautiful smile on his lips. But then that man fell on the green grass. The green grass turned red due to that man's blood. Before that man lost his consciousness, he said in a low whisper, "I love you." Then Kevin woke up gasping.

What the hell.
The Whispers
The next morning.
It was decided that they will go to the castle the next day, means tomorrow. Kevin was feeling very excited. He loves visiting old castles. He likes vintage things and history.
𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑖𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑖𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑙𝑒!! 𝐼 𝑤𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑖𝑡 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒.
After Kevin went home, he took a warm bath. And after that the first thing he did was to pack his bag. He packed a torchlight, a chocolate bar, and some snacks. Then he took out his boots and cleaned them. Only after these he cooked his dinner. As he sat on the couch and turned on the TV, he opened Netflix. He then started watching his favorite drama, "My Demon."

Why did the male lead have to be this handsome?
Kevin kept his hand on the left side of his chest and smiled.

After that he went to sleep.
In his dream.
Kevin found himself in a room. He looked around. The room was screaming its richness. But then he felt two hands wrapping around his waist. He was startled. He flinched he tried to look back, but his body wouldn't move. He then heard a whisper.
𝓜𝔂 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮, 𝓓𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓭~
But then he woke up. His eyes shot open, and he looked at the plain ceiling.

The next day.
Kevin woke up earlier. He just realized that the man he saw in his dream, he couldn't remember his face anymore. Well it happens, we see a dream, and later we forget about that. Kevin also didn't think much about that. All he remembered, that the man he saw in his dream was handsome, and he had beautiful ocean blue eyes. He took his bag, and locked the apartment door. He drove to the company and parked his car in the garage. He walked up to the floor and he met Anna there. She smiled at him.

Obviously I am.
They took the company car and drove to the site, where the old castle was. It took them three hours to go there. It was a long journey but it was worth it. How beautiful the castle was!
As they looked at the castle they marveled at the view and the beauty of it. As the car couldn't climb the mountain, they had to walk up to the mountain. Kevin was glad that he wore his boots.
𝐼 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝑎𝑟𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠.
The white pillars that were made with marble were now tainted, the castle had cracks because it wasn't maintained, the plants had grown on the walls and some birds had made their nests inside the castle. Some parts were broken but still it looked beautiful.
The team walked in, carefully. As they walked in, the birds flew out of the broken windows in fear. But then there was a shadowy figure who went unnoticed by the team. That figure was looking at them. But then a particular person caught his eyes. It was Kevin. He looked awfully familiar to the figure. He whispered,
𝓓𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓭...
Kevin looked around. Seeing him looking around with wide eyes like that, Anna patted his back.

What happened? Are you okay?

Did you hear that!? A whisper.
