Under the starless night a petite figure ran for her dear life she was almost killed she ran into the thick dark forest her heart pounding so loud she could not see not long after it began to rain her clothes were damp due to the rain. She halted when she felt a sharp pain on her toe she winced in pain as she sat by the rock as she cried silently goosebumps crawled on her skin due to cold the tears that fell were hot on her cold skin her body shook slightly.

"Rhia Kimberly in the middle of a dark scary forest" she said to her self in a hoarse voice she laughed quietly she was just trying to escape death not knowing she was already running to death she smiled bitterly not long after the rain stopped she began to hiccup.

"Hic... HIC"

She sat behind the rock for what seems like a long time she felt numb because she could not feel the pain on her foot anymore.

'hic.. hic' she froze when she heard a deep husky voice.but how why is she not the only one here how is that even possible no sane person would ever stay on such place. Her breath hitched.

"Speak" A well sculptured figure spoke he stared blankly into the thin air.

"Master we need you our people are dying... " James the one of his guard was immediately interrupted by

A menacing laughter Rhia who was behind the rock shivered his voice alone screamed danger.

"You want me to play with Kids" he finaly said Rhia used her palm to cover her mouth because of this war she was almost killed and he calls it childrens game just who os this guy there was a long pause Rhia decided to leave she stood to move.

"HIC... HIC" Her eyes widened.

'oh no why now'

"Show your face" she heard his deep but demanding tone her body move on it own like some kind of spell why was all this happening to her seems like the universe is angry with her all she wanted to do was to buy some fruit and vegetable for her grandpa only for her see death flash before her eyes she turned to see a well sculptured back an extremely tall figure she snapped

"Why are you here" he asked in a calm but dangerous tone.

"Run you idiot Run" her inner self screamed at her, but she stood still.

"Don't take me repeat myself" he turned to her eyes widened as she stared at the breathtaking view in front of her.

His Brown silky hair which fell to his face half shot jet black eyes rosy pink lips sharp jawline and well shaped jawline his shirt which hugged his body visibly showing his strong arm and eight packs he began to work toward her every step he made screamed death, but her body refused to move.

He stopped leaving a small gap between them, he opened his hand to speak

"I have nowhere to go" she was surprised by her words seems like she is not afraid of death. Another dry laughter broke it sounded emotionless and not genuine.

He stared at her intently as his eyes darted to her toe she was bleeding profusely.

"Come red dont say i did not warn you" He walked past her as she followed him behind it was then she realised her toe was still bleeding

Half of her were happy she had a place to stay maybe because of her bleeding toe he pitied her the other were scared because of Zander.

She stood at the door as she stared at the place in awe her eyes darted to the big king size bed which looked so soft and inviting .

Zander followed her gaze as a smirk form on his lips

"Go in red clean up the first aid kit is on the table"

"Rhia not Red" She said in hoarse voice.

"Rhia"Zander said in a low husky voice as he grabbed a coat.

" I will be back, i have something to attend "he said and left

FEW MINUITE LATER

Rain started to fall heavily, The thunder growled menancingly the rain dripped down his hair to his face moving to his neck then

abs, his eyes blazed red the war continue as people were dying like ants or ant is better

In an instant five men fell to the floor Zander slashed them into half his both hands dug two heads as he immediately smashed them to the floor the blood spilled down his cloth making him look like god of war.

Zander stood at the door he gazed at the little figure lying on the bed with both feet and hands spreading on the bed like it was not enough. He raised a brow

The sunlight peeked its way through the curtain Rhia parted her eyelids as she used her palm to cover her face from the blinding light.

She sat up suprised by the unfamiliar environment not long last night incident came flashing back did she just stay with a stranger

Stupid girl she said to herself as she stood to leave.

"Your awake" She heared a husky voice behind, she jumped back like a startled rabbit.

"Oh" She finaly said as she looked at him with startled eyes. His legs crossed as he drank the coffee like nothing happened he had a smirk his lips. It was as if he was having a photoshoot ready to be posted to the media.

"Good morning" She said walking to the bathroom but stopped

"Um.... I want to have my bath maybe privacy"she said shyly as her face instantly turned red. 'This is not your house and your taking right 'her innerself sreamed at her.

"Dont worry have your bath am not interested" He said leaving Rhia in a daze

She entered the bathroom confused as many thought ran through her head 'he is not interested in girls maybe, he is gay yes he is'she said to herself finaly satisfied

Zander walked outside the house.

"John" He called out

"Yes young master"

"I need you to bring me ladies cloth in less than ten minuite"he said and walked out.

'Why does he need ladies cloth' he said to himself as he immediately left in confused

Rhia came ot of the bathroom wearing a robe which was way bigger than her, her hair damp suprised to see clothes lying on the bed she immediately grabbed it she dressed up and walked to the dining room.

Her mouth watered seeing the lipsmacking view in front of her the nice smell of pancake made her tummy growl.

"Shhhh dont disgrace me here she said to herself.

She walked to the dining Zander sat silently eating with complete etiquette.

"Here " He said as he pushed the bowl to her was she seriously going to eat in a stranger house she grabbed it as she ate she contemplated him in silence.

"Um.. So your gay

Zander stared at her suprised by the sudden question. Rhia immediately regretted her words, her heart raced.

" I.. I.. " She tried to speak but no words came out Zander stood as he walked towards her he stopped just an inch away as he leaned in on her, Rhia breath hitched.

"What if i proof to you that am not gay" She immediately choked on her saliva, Zander gave her a glass of water which immediately she gulped down.

"Careful what you say Red" He tapped her head and left leaving her again in a daze.

Rhia ate in silence 'This is grand' she said to herself immediately her eyes widened

"Grand pa " She stood as her body shook in panick how could she forget about him because of this guy she ran out,she met Zander at the garden. So this forest have a garden she said to herself as she walked up to Zander.

"I have to go " She said to him he stared at her nonchalantly, what was she even thinking he does'nt even care.

"Thank you for being so generous" She said

"...... " Zander was speechless since when did he become generous.

Rhia brought out her hand for a shake but Zander remained unmoving she grabbed his hand and shook him immediately thier hands made contact which each other she felt some kind of magnet puling her to him she immediately pulled away.

Zander gazed at her suprised the feeling he just had when she shook him she turned to leave but stopped.

"Zander" He said as he intently gazed at her.

"Zander" Her voice dropped to whisper As she turned and left.

"Did she just call me generous" Zander chuckled.

Rhia ran so fast as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"What if something happens to grandpa" She could not beleive she forgot about her grand pa because of a random stranger who doesnt even care a bit about her.

Rhia and her grand father lived at the outskirt of the town. She continie running as she could not help but worry.

FLASH BACK

*ONE DAY AGO*

"Rhia" Grandpa lee called out it was already late at night he sat at the small garden as he stared at the sky which was suprisingly starless.

"Yes grandpa" Rhia smiled brightly as she sat beside him she never knew her parent all her grand pa told her was her mother died while giving birth to her while her father died of heart break.

"I wonder why there is no star tonight" Grand pa lee said to her

"Me too" She said smiling

"I need to tell you something" He said as he shifted his gaze to Rhia.

"Grand pa i have to go" Rhia said as she stood

"Where" Her grand father asked confused it was already late.

"I need to get some vegetable and fruit from the grocery store remember you must eat some fruit before you go to bed" She said worriedly as she blamed herself for this carelessness.

"No need i can manage..... "Rhia interrupted

" No i have to leave, the nearest grocery store is just half a mile down the road" She said and ran.
