“ beep.......beeeeeeeep " rings the alarm clock in the early morning at 4am...pale hands slides out from the white blanket and pressed the dancing alarm clock. Just after the alarm goes off, a 17 year old girl who was just 5'4 feet tall, crawled out of the blanket and got up from the small bed...

Her room was too small and yet she imagined that it was a big castle. She walked over to a door and opened it, revealing a dark place with a dull glowing bulb which was a so called ‘bathroom'...it only had a shower to bath and a basin to brush....But since it was a common thing for the girl, she ignored them and entered the bathroom just to clean herself...

Minutes passed and the girl walked out of the bathroom with a towel on. She was shivering since the water was cold. But she somehow managed to wear her uniform immediately before the cold wind could even brush her skin, making the small hair in her body rise up.

But it was too late...She already experienced it and was having goosebumps..She let out a low sigh and walked over to the mirror to fix her long white hair. She had a beautiful crystal blue eyes, cherry pink lips. But her body was slim and slightly pale since she never had enough food...

Once the girl was done with braiding her hair,

She ate two pieces of bread and wore her school bag, walking out of her house without even locking the door. Because, why not? There's nothing for the burglars to steal anyways....and her money will be safe in her school bag.

The girl had a reason for waking up earlier...

She'll go to the cafe for partime job once she got ready for school. She'll serve the people who comes earlier. Some will have their breakfast before work.

And once her time was up, she'll run to her school and reach on time, as this was her daily routine, just to earn some money and pay her house rent and school fees.

But...

Once she entered the school and walked through the hallways...she saw something that she shouldn't have seen....

She saw her beloved boyfriend who she loved since childhood...kissing the cheerleader infront of everyone...Her eyes widened..tears rolled down to her cheeks... she felt some pressure pressing against her...heard some students murmuring about her...

“ God... her life is like hell... " said one.

“ She don't even deserve that guy anyways... " said the another...

“ many years of love is gone....oops.. seems like love needs money " laughed the cheerleader.

And that's when the so called ‘boyfriend' noticed that his girlfriend was watching...

He turned to her in surprise...he tried to speak....

The girl dropped the box that she was carrying in her hand. The thing that fell out from the box was....

A cake...that she worked hard and bought for her boyfriend....

Her vision gone dull...and slowly blank...She heard the students murmuring depressing things about her.... Suddenly...she fell down on the ground unconscious...which made everyone gasp in shock...

“ Lydia Jasmine! " Shouted her bestfriend... from afar....

“ Jasmine Salindra! You don't even deserve to carry our family's name when you are nothing but a piece of trash! " shouted Kenji Salindra at his 12 year old daughter who was sitting on the corner of the living room..facing the wall...crying in pain as blood was dripping from her wrists due to the burn mark that her father gave her as a punishment after finding out that she loved Kenzo Francis who was a 13 year old boy.

“ Kenji.... please stop it... you've gone too far... " Said Sakura Salindra in a very gentle and a worried tone...her eyes filled with tears...But father shooked his head and walked away without turning his back...he even wiped his hands with a napkin and throwed it in the bin, feeling disgusting that he had blood stains on his clean hands

“ oh dear... " cried mother, thinking about how much pain her daughter suffered. She carried her daughter in her arms and took her upstairs to her room just to treat her wounds.

“ h-how can he treat his only child like this!?....." mother was mumbling in a low tone..shivering a lot while treating her daughter's wound, sitting on the bed while her daughter was leaning against her. Jasmine was sleeping on her mother's lap, leaning her head against her mother's chest...

The day somehow passed...Jasmine never got out of her room since she never wanted to see anyone except her mother and her personal maid...

The following morning,

Jasmine got dressed beautifully since it was her 13th birthday. She was greeted by everyone in the mansion except for her father...she felt bad...But mother comforted her by showing affection and taking her outside to calm her down. And there, Jasmine saw Kenzo Francis, her beloved boyfriend.

Instead of running over and hugging him, She turned her gaze away and ignored him. Her mother noticed this and tapped her shoulder gently “ it's okay dear...go and talk... I'll deal with your father... " she whispered in her daughter's ears. Jasmine trembled and shooked her head.

Just after a minute, she suddenly felt someone wrapping their arms around her from behind. When she turned around in surprise, she saw her boyfriend who was smiling brightly and that mother was already gone. “ happy birthday my love!- " his voice cracked once he noticed her wound “ w-who did this to you!? " he shouted and grabbed her wrist to look at it carefully, noticing that it was a burn mark.

“ i-its nothing Kenzo...you don't have to worry..." Jasmine spoke in a very beautiful voice just like her mother. It was as if she sang a song, even tho she didn't. “ answer me Jasmine! " Kenzo shouted again, pulling his girl closer. “ i-it was my father.... " she finally answered.

“ that damn fool!- why did he do this!? " he asked her, his expression was filled with rage. Jasmine placed her hands on his cheeks and tried to calm him down. But he just grabbed her hand and dragged her to her mansion just to have a small chat with the one who hurted his girl....

Kenzo Francis was really mad as he immediately dragged Jasmine Salindra back to her mansion just to question her father. Even tho he was too young, he was brave enough for it.

After entering the mansion,

Jasmine began to feel afraid once she saw her father sitting on the cozy couch, talking with someone on his phone about his business matters, rage in his eyes symbolising that something unexpected had happened, veins visible through his skin in anger...

on the other side, mama was lying on the floor.. having a burn mark in her wrist..messed hair...a print of father's hand on her right cheek...she was struggling to even get up...

Kenzo Francis gritted his teeth and shouted loudly “ Mr. Kenji Salindra! "

Father then glared at the boy and immediately got up, walking over to him like a hungry predator approaching it's prey...

Jasmine immediately rushed over to her mother and wrapped her arms around her, tears pouring from her pretty eyes.....

Mother wrapped her arms around her daughter and kissed her forehead.. “ I-im sorry...dear...I-I failed to protect you.... " whispered mama... feeling guilty that she couldn't do anything to protect her daughter from her husband....

“ n-no mom... don't say like that..." spoke Jasmine in a worried tone...she noticed that her mother's head was bleeding...she got started and checked it...and found that mama hit the back of her head hardly on the ground once she fell on the ground...

On the other side...

“ What do you want little brat!? " shouted Kenji Salindra, not even paying attention to his daughter or wife.

“ well sir, I'm just here to warn you. Next time...if the same thing continues......... your company-... " Kenzo smirked which made Kenji shiver slightly and made him realise something...

“ so...your family....were the one...w-who took down my company!? " Kenji asked while shivering... “ ...how can a wolf stay quiet when a damn human tried to touch what belongs to it!? it'll destroy the human right!? It must! Or else that damn human will continue to do his mistakes! " Shouted Kenzo while clenching his fist.

“ How can a fucking family like yours can stole other's property!? " asked Kenji.

“ well...my father was too greedy haha....he don't get enough...he tried to find a way...but found a greedy person just like him...and that person is you...he knows the way you treated your family...he wanted to make you regret...and I know the reason why you wanted Jasmine to stay away from me... Because you thought that I'm poor right!? But I'm not! Hahahaha! Our company is well developing! Your company will soon be destroyed and you'll be poor! I'll take your daughter away with me! How's that plan!? And I even know the reason why you married Mrs. Sakura... because she was rich too...she was a beautiful model...her father owned a company...so you married her to become rich right!? You treated her like shift after that! you took her company down and destroyed her dream job! " Kenzo spoke without even breathing between his words...

“ you little brat!- " before Kenji could speak another word...

“ Ahhhhhh! " Jasmine screamed, shaking her mother with her bloody hands, tears falling down from her cheeks, screaming and shouting, begging her mother to wake up....

“ m-mama.... she's gone! " she screamed loudly as the maids, butlers, chefs and the others in the mansion immediately rushed over to see what happened.

Kenzo Francis rushed over to Sakura Salindra's dead body and looked at it in horror. He gasped and looked at Jasmine who was crying....he gently wrapped his arms around her and comforted her...

Kenji Salindra dropped to his knees...his eyes widened, tears on the end of his eyes, hands trembling, feeling a stinging pain in his heart... regretting hitting his wife...
