Tria mumbled to herself, pacing the floor, getting more agitated as she thought about it.
Imagine they were spending two days at his place.
Okay it was his parents place. From what she heard, he had his own, but to be respectful they were invited to his parents place to meet and get to know each other.
What happened to introducing people first and seeing if there was compatibility and then allowing them to form their own relationship, which could progress into marriage.
Was this arrangement necessary! It was 2024. Who arranges a marriage!!!

She wondered if anybody would be up.

Why are you going with your bag?
Tria
I thought I'd drop off some laundry, while I'm out.
Wolfe
You only came today.
Wolfe
What laundry could you have?
He shifts her aside and positions his body in front of the door.
Tria
Look, can you please get out my way?!
Tries to shove past him to get to the door again.
He grabs Tria's arm and pulls her towards him, he chuckles and stares down at her.
Wolfe
Princess I don't think you're going anywhere.
His grip on her arm tightens slightly and his eyes narrow.
Tria
You have no right to hold me here.
Tria, kicks Wolfe in the leg and rushes past.
His grip loosens when she kicked him.
Wolfe groans in pain and falls to his knees, clutching his leg and lets out a yell of pain.
