It was a joyous day in the Luna faction. The queen was giving birth to the child who, according to the prophecy, would be the future leader of the Luna faction.
In a ward with a lot of people gathered outside, a pained scream pierced the air. It came from inside, where the queen was in labor. Outside the ward, a tall man with broad shoulders and fierce eyes stood anxiously. He had docile eyebrows, a sharp nose, and a well-chiseled and toned face. He was clad in a light black polo shirt and a well-fitted jean.
On a normal day, Jake would be a fearsome leader, but today he looked nervous. His pitch-black eyes, which usually held no emotion but coldness, were filled with worry.
At that moment, the door of the ward opened and a man dressed fully in white walked out with a bit of sadness on his face. Seeing this, Jake tensed up.
"How was it?" he asked.
"She delivered successfully," replied the doctor.
Jake let out a breath of relief. He turned to the doctor and asked, "Why the long face?"
"It's a female," the doctor said. He had also heard of the prophecy, and so had everyone else in the Luna faction. They had been anticipating this day for a long time, but when he saw that the child was a female, he was disappointed.
"That's also good news," said Jake with a rare smile.
"What if she's not the one the prophecy spoke about?" the doctor asked.
Jake had already started to walk towards his wife in the ward when he heard this question. He turned around and looked straight into the eyes of the doctor. His black eyes rapidly turned crimson red. "The prophecy never lies," he replied as he turned back around and stepped into the ward. The doctor broke out in a cold sweat when he saw those fiery red eyes. "Our leader truly is as terrifying as they say," he whispered to himself.
Jake entered the ward and saw his wife lying on the bed, holding a bundle of blankets in her arms. She looked exhausted but happy. She smiled when she saw him and beckoned him to come closer.
"Jake, meet our daughter," she said softly, handing him the bundle.
Jake took the bundle carefully and looked at the baby girl inside. She had a tuft of black hair on her head and a pair of black eyes that stared back at him curiously. She was beautiful, just like her mother.
Jake felt a surge of love and pride in his chest. He kissed the baby's forehead and whispered, "Hello, my little princess."
He looked at his wife and said, "She's perfect. You did well, my queen."
His wife smiled and reached for his hand. "Thank you, my king. I love you."
"I love you too," Jake said, squeezing her hand.
They gazed at their daughter, feeling a bond that was stronger than anything they had ever experienced. They didn't care about the prophecy or the expectations of their people. They only cared about their family.
They didn't notice the door opening and a woman entering the ward. She was tall and slender, with long silver hair and pale blue eyes. She wore a white robe with a silver crescent moon on the chest. She was the high priestess of the Luna faction, and the keeper of the prophecy.
She walked towards the bed and bowed slightly. "Greetings, your majesties. I have come to see the child of destiny."
Jake and his wife looked at her with surprise and wariness. They didn't trust the high priestess, who had always been aloof and mysterious. They knew she had a hidden agenda, and they didn't want her to interfere with their daughter's life.
"High priestess, what do you want?" Jake asked coldly.
The high priestess smiled faintly. "I want to bless the child and confirm her identity. She is the one, isn't she?"
Jake frowned. "What do you mean, confirm her identity? She is our daughter, and that's all that matters."
The high priestess shook her head. "No, your majesty. She is more than that. She is the chosen one, the one who will lead the Luna faction to glory and prosperity. She is the one who will unite the four factions of the world under the banner of the moon. She is the one who will fulfill the prophecy."
Jake felt a chill run down his spine. He didn't like the way the high priestess spoke, as if she knew everything about his daughter's future. He didn't want his daughter to be burdened with such a fate. He wanted her to be free and happy.
He held his daughter closer and said, "She is not a tool for your prophecy. She is a person, with her own will and dreams. She will decide her own destiny."
The high priestess sighed. "Your majesty, you don't understand. The prophecy is not a tool, it is a guide. It shows us the path to peace and harmony. It is a gift from the moon goddess, who watches over us and loves us. Your daughter is her chosen vessel, her messenger, her avatar. She is the moon incarnate."
Jake felt a surge of anger and fear. He didn't believe in the moon goddess or the prophecy. He believed in himself and his family. He didn't want his daughter to be a pawn of some divine plan. He wanted her to be his daughter, and nothing else.
He glared at the high priestess and said, "Get out. Get out of here and leave us alone. We don't need your blessing or your confirmation. We don't need your prophecy or your goddess. We only need each other."
The high priestess looked at him with pity and sadness. She shook her head and said, "Your majesty, you are making a mistake. You are rejecting the will of the moon and the fate of your daughter. You are endangering the future of the Luna faction and the world. You are choosing ignorance over enlightenment, pride over humility, selfishness over sacrifice. You are choosing darkness over light."
She turned to leave, but before she did, she said, "But I will not give up on you or your daughter. I will pray for you and guide you. I will protect you and help you. I will do everything in my power to make you see the truth and embrace the prophecy. Because I love you, your majesties. I love you as the moon loves the earth. And I love your daughter, as the moon loves the sun."
She left the ward, leaving behind a stunned and angry Jake and a confused and scared wife. They looked at each other, not knowing what to do or say. They looked at their daughter, who was sleeping peacefully in Jake's arms. They wondered what the future would bring for them and their child. They wondered if they could ever escape the shadow of the prophecy. They wondered if they could ever be happy.
After finishing up everything, Jake and his family decided to go back to their country, L. But as they were approaching, they saw a horrifying sight. The whole country was engulfed in flames and smoke, with mournful cries, pained screams, and sounds of explosions filling the air.
A man suddenly appeared in front of them and spoke. "Welcome, Jake. I've waited for a long time." He had a pale and smooth complexion, as if he never saw the sun. His eyes were dark and piercing, and his lips were thin and red. He had a sharp nose and a high forehead, and his hair was black and slicked back. He wore a black suit and a white shirt, and a silver pendant hung from his neck. He moved with grace and confidence, and his voice was low and seductive. He smiled, revealing a pair of long and pointed fangs. He was the vampire king, Oros.
There were two types of vampires: higher and lower. Higher vampires were immortal beings that drank the blood of the living to sustain themselves. They had superhuman strength, speed, and senses, and could heal from almost any wound. They could also compel the minds of their victims, making them forget or obey their commands. Vampires were vulnerable to sunlight, fire, and silver. They could be killed by destroying their hearts or cutting off their heads. Lower vampires were creatures of the night that fed on human blood. They had pale skin, red eyes, and retractable fangs. They could turn into bats, wolves, or mist, and could fly, climb walls, and teleport. They could also create other vampires by biting them and giving them some of their blood. Vampires were afraid of garlic, crosses, holy water, and mirrors. They could be killed by sunlight, fire, or a stake through the heart.
"Oros, what's the meaning of this?" Jake said angrily, the color of his eyes changing to crimson red.
"Oh, it's nothing. I just want to wipe out your Luna clan," Oros said with a smile.
Jake frowned and then turned to the others he came with. "You guys should go on with my little princess. I'll soon be there."
"Sorry, Jake, but no one is going anywhere," Oros said, six more shadows appearing behind him.
Jake knew he was in trouble. He was outnumbered and outmatched by the vampires. He had no weapons, no backup, no plan. He only had his werewolf powers which were useless against a number of higher vampires. He had to protect his family, especially his daughter, who was the princess and the child of destiny.
He looked at his daughter, who was clutching his arm and trembling. She had inherited his black hair and eyes, and his fiery spirit. She also had his wife's fair skin and gentle heart. She was the most precious thing in his life, and he would do anything to keep her safe.
He looked at his wife, who was lying on the ground unconscious, she had just given birth and he knew she would be tired and stressed, he wanted her to rest. She was the queen of the Luna clan, and his soulmate. He loved her more than anything, and he would do anything to save her.
He looked at the others he came with, who were his loyal friends and followers. They had fought with him in many battles, and had supported him in his rule. They were the elite of the Luna clan, and his comrades. He respected them more than anything, and he would do anything to help them.
He looked at Oros, who was his enemy and nemesis. He had killed his father, the former king of the Luna clan, and had taken his throne, and had waged war against the Luna faction. He was the vampire king, and his rival. He hated him more than anything, and he would do anything to defeat him.
He looked at the six shadows behind Oros, who were his minions and accomplices. They were the generals of the vampire army, and the leaders of the lower vampires. They had slaughtered countless Luna clan members, and had destroyed many Luna clan villages. They were the vampire elite, and his adversaries. He feared them more than anything, and he would do anything to survive them.
He knew he had to act fast, before Oros and his cronies attacked. He knew he had to make a choice, between fighting and fleeing. He knew he had to make a sacrifice, between himself and his family.
He made his decision. He pushed his daughter towards one of his friends, and whispered, "Take her and run. Don't look back. Don't stop. Don't let them catch you. Find a safe place. Wait for me there. I'll come for you. I promise."
He kissed his daughter's forehead, and said, "I love you, my little princess. You are my everything. You are my light."
He turned to his wife, and lifted her up. He handed her to another friend, and said, "Take her and run. Don't look back. Don't stop. Don't let them hurt you. Find a healer. Wait for me there. I'll come for you. I promise."
He kissed his wife's lips, and said, "I love you, my queen. You are my everything. You are my world, "
He turned to Oros, and snarled. He said, "You and me. One on one. No interference. No mercy. No escape. Let's end this. Once and for all."
He glared at Oros, and said, "I hate you, Oros. You are nothing. You are darkness."
Oros laughed, and said, "Very well. I accept your challenge. But don't think you can win. You are no match for me. You are weak. You are foolish. You are doomed."
He smiled at Oros, and said, "We'll see about that. You are no match for me. You are arrogant. You are cruel. You are dead."
They charged at each other, and clashed. The battle began. The fate of the Luna clan was to be decided .
There was a noise of metal clanging and flesh being torn apart as Jake and Oros fought ferociously. Jake had a silver sword, the only weapon that could harm a vampire while Oros used his kind’s natural weapons which were razor sharp claws and fangs.
Jake aimed for Oros’ heart, slashing at him with his sword, the only way that one could kill a vampire. But he did not hit him because the speed and agility possessed by this vampire helped him evade the sharp edge. On the other hand, Oros launched swift attacks aimed at tearing open Jake’s throat or gouging his eyes.
Blood flowed freely from both sides leaving no doubt about how they had wounded each other in equal measure. Even with his strength and stamina ebbing away, Jake never gave up. For instance, he thought of his wife and children who were miles away but hoped to be safe. Again, he thought of his clan that he swore to revenge for even after death; and finally about his honor upon which he would never surrender.
Oros’ hunger and anger intensified but there was also some element of fear creeping into him. The Luna clan leader was not an ordinary werewolf but rather belonged to a rare group of powerful beings. He further realized that it was not on part of himself that Jake was fighting for but for his own people as well as kinfolk. In addition to this, Oros felt scared slightly when he noticed that Jake did not fear facing him out there on top of everything else.
They stared at each other fiercely, and saw their respective resolutions and hate for one another. They both bellowed, and charged towards each other for the last time. They collided, and it was over.
Upon being struck in the chest, Jake felt a sharp pain that came with Oros’ claws in his heart. He sucked in a breath, then dropped his sword. His eyes met with Oros’, who had a wide triumphant smile on his face. He knew he was defeated; he knew he was dying.
Oros felt a surge of satisfaction as he felt Jake’s heart stopping to beat. He retracted his claws out of him and released him from his grip, letting him fall to the ground like a ragdoll. He eyed Jake who had a defiant look on his face as if daring him for more. He knew that he had won; he knew that he had killed him.
He pointed up with both hands yelling “I have killed the leader of Luna clan! I have smashed these puny dogs! I have ensured vampire supremacy!”
He turned around to see the minions cheering and clapping at him. He looked back with a grin saying “Come my loyal followers let us drink our enemy’s blood, let us celebrate our victory and let us enjoy our glory.”
He advanced to where the bodies of Luna clan lay lifelessly on the ground before selecting one arbitrarily. His teeth sank into the neck and made way for blood to flow down into his mouth. Power surged through its veins while euphoria rode shotgun.
The silver sword impaling into his back until it reached his heart did not catch his attention at all. Neither did he hear those words which said, ” I love you Jake you are my number one love, "
He did not see the face of his killer, who was none other than Jake's wife, who had returned to avenge her husband. He did not feel the life leaving his body, as he collapsed to the ground.
He did not realize that he had lost. He did not realize that he was dead.

A few minutes ago, Evelyn, the queen and Luna's mother, had been carried away from the battlefield as Jake, her husband, had ordered. She felt a deep sense of unease. Even though she was weakened from giving birth to Luna, she didn't want to leave her husband alone with Oros. She knew Oros was an evil vampire lord who never kept his word, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that something terrible was about to happen.
She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She exhaled and opened her eyes, but they were no longer black. They had turned blue, a sign that she had activated her werewolf powers. The moon shone on her cerulean eyes, creating a fairy-like glow. It was a sight to behold.
She moved swiftly and vanished, racing towards her husband. But when she got there, she saw them roar and charge at each other for the final time. They collided, and the outcome was decided.
She saw Oros plunge his claws into Jake's heart. Jake dropped his sword. She knew he was dying, and she could only take a silent revenge or she too would be killed.

Back on the battlefield, Oros's minions saw him drop to the ground. They were surprised at first, but their surprise soon turned to anger as they realized what had happened from the shadow behind him.
"Catch her!" one of the vampire elders shouted.
But Evelyn had already taken the body of her husband and fled into the woods. She ran straight towards the north, where some hidden white witches might be. 'They are the only ones who can save my husband,' she thought to herself as she ran.
The vampire elders chased her, but they were doomed to never catch her. Blue-eyed werewolves were known for their lightning-fast speed. Moreover, she was a higher-class blue-eyed werewolf who had unlocked her full potential. There was no chance of them catching up to her.
As Evelyn ran through the woods, she felt a sudden pain in her chest. She looked down and saw blood dripping from a wound. She had been shot by a platinum bullet, the only thing that could harm a werewolf. She stumbled and fell, dropping Jake's body. She tried to get up, but the pain was too much. She looked around and saw the vampire elders closing in on her. They had used a sniper rifle to catch her off guard.
She knew she had no chance of escaping. She reached for Jake's hand and held it tightly. She whispered, "I love you, my king. I'm sorry I couldn't save you. Please forgive me."
She closed her eyes and waited for the end. But then, she heard a loud roar. She opened her eyes and saw a huge white wolf and a lady with snow-white hair and a plain gown on top. "Evelyn?" the lady called out.
"Amanda?" Evelyn recognized her as her long-time friend. She felt a wave of relief wash over her.
The white wolf snarled and attacked the vampire elders, tearing them apart with her sharp teeth and claws. It was unstoppable, a force of nature.
Evelyn slowly stood up, staggering. She hugged the white wolf and felt a warm light envelop them. She realized that Amanda was healing them. She thanked her silently and prayed to the moon goddess, hoping that her daughter was safe.
"Your husband is at death's door, but there might be a way to save him," Amanda said as she saw the state Jake was in.
Evelyn hearing this was hopeful. She knew they had a chance to live again. She knew they had a chance to fight again. She knew they had a chance to love again.
