Asfandiyar and Miray were friends from childhood. She loved him all along but never confessed in the fear of losing him. She had the feeling that he loved her too. He was a cheerful person full of joy kind of personality. She always used to find a different kind of warmth in his smile. He was so beautiful and loving for her, but at some point in their beautiful relation things changed. His personality became extremely opposite. The warmth in his smile was all gone. He never seemed happy when she was around him.
It was almost two years since that accident happened which shook him off. He never seemed sane after that accident. Whenever he felt down, she used to cheer him up, but now whenever she tried to calm him down, and she saw a different kind of feeling like intense rage and hurt in his eyes.
It was like he hated her to the extent that he didn't want to see her in front of his eyes. She wanted to hold him and hug him like before, but now it felt uncomfortable. The aura and atmosphere around them changed. She started avoiding him for the time being.
Suddenly, he proposed to her for marriage. She was confused, but happy deep inside. She believed that everything would change after their marriage... She believed that he'll love her more but it was just a misconception.
After their marriage, he started hurting her emotionally in every possible way. He never even shared his bedroom with her. It was like he's taking revenge for a sin she didn't know she'd committed. She thought he'll change one day, but her hope shattered into a million pieces when she gifted him a perfume spending 3 days to choose on his birthday, and he threw it against wall only to smash it into pieces.
Then he said with a smirk plastered on his face and said.

He walked out, saying those venomous words. Those words shattered her soul apart into a million pieces. Her vision got blurry as the whole scene kept echoing inside her head making her go numb. She held the sofa behind her to keep herself stable. Her tears were threatening to fall from out of her orbs.
She didn't know which rain of love she was dancing would make her shiver to the extent that she'll feel vulnerable enough to breathe.
Is he really the person she fell in love with? She started crying hard, falling on her knees when the past memories started to sink in.

At midnight, he entered their house and flopped on the sofa feeling the impact of the alcohol. His eyes fell on something kept on the table. Those pieces of glass are covered in blood with a note beside. His breath got stuck for a moment… He never imagined even in his dream that she'll actually do it. Slowly extending his hand, he grabbed the note and began to read it...
Each word from that note was hurting him like a stab. He immediately got up and entered her bedroom without making any noise. There was she sleeping peacefully with tears stained cheeks. He felt hurt seeing her tears, but he lost himself when his eyes fell on her feet, covered with blood and bandages. Taking two steps backward, he held the door frame and kept his hand on his mouth he left from there and went directly to his bedroom. He started hitting the wall until his knuckles started to bleed to avoid the pain he was feeling internally.

Why does she love me, god? WHY? Why I had to fall in love with her? It would've been a million times easier if I didn't love her unconditionally from the beginning....It would've been different if she loved him instead of me. Why did I start this battle when I knew I couldn't bear it…
He started drinking again, sitting beside his bed… He kept drinking. Tears were falling from his lashes thinking, remembering, and recollecting all those memories they created together. Once he was breathing for her, and now he finds it hard to breathe around her.
When that accident from 2 year ago appeared in his thoughts, he threw every bottle in the corner causing it to break. He was really drunk.
Suddenly, Miray opened the door and reached towards him limping. Seeing his condition, she was terrified. She hurriedly asked him while keeping her hands on his cheeks.

For a moment, she forgot what he did to her some moments ago. It's like she can't be mad at him as her love for him always dominates her.

He screamed between his sobs with all strength he had.
He was sobbing silently.She couldn't understand what he's talking about. She was getting worried sick and seeing blood getting out of his knuckles. He moved his hands from her face when his eyes again fell on her feet again.

The next moment he said this, he fainted. She knew he won't be able to remember this after waking up looking at the amount of bottles he drank. She knew that he'll return to the same personality he was in before getting drunk. She wanted to know what's the exact reason he's hurting so much and forced to hate her even when he doesn't want to.
She came up with an idea to make him spill truth.
The next day, when the sun was up, he opened his eyes and tried to get up from bed but failed as his head was aching badly. Forcing himself up, he walked out of his bedroom and found she's not home. He checked her room and everywhere and then went to the kitchen. He saw hangover soup kept for him on the kitchen counter. He silently grabbed it… While having soup, suddenly the conversation between him and her before he left home popped up in his mind. Then he recalled what happened when he reached back home... Her feet, blood, and pieces of glass. He stopped in the middle. Guilt washed over him. He remembered that he went into his bedroom and started drinking, but what happened after that?
He didn't give it much thought as he was worried about her. He checked the time and found its mid-afternoon. He checked his messages in the hope of her text.
She didn't return. He was waiting for her to return, and while waiting, he slept again on the sofa. When he finally woke up from his nap, he saw her sitting across him staring straight in his eyes. He got up quickly, making her stand. He cleared his throat and began to say...

She said, throwing papers on the table in between them. He was bewildered but didn't show it on his face. He was silent... Hurting inside, feeling the guilt.

His eyes turned dark, but he was as silent.

He turned around and snatching the piece of glass he threw it somewhere in the room and grabbed her hand with a jerk, closing the distance between them. He was staring right in her eyes with extreme anger. She wasn't breaking eye contact, either. She's not going to back off this time.

Instead of speaking further, he dragged her out of their house and locked the door he reached towards his car. He made her sit on the backside and started driving... She asked him a few times when he's taking her. He was just giving her silent treatment all the way.
He was speeding up the car more... His intense look was making her nervous. After driving for about 2 hours, he reached their designation. A kind of place where people were seen barely at night.
He stopped his car in front of a hut. Getting out of his car, he ordered her to come out. She recognised the place as soon she got out.

He hunged up the call. Asfandiyar tried to call Michael several times, but the call didn't connect. He tracked down his location. Getting on his car, he started driving at full speed. He called even the cops to get help, and they told him that they got another call too from the same location before him from a passer-by of that area that a guy drove off from the cliff edge. He was filled with terror now, and his hands started to sweat. He told them to reach there with the rescue team, but before they could reach him, he fell in the arms of death.

After having a couple of drinks, he slept on the sofa. He woke up with stinging pain in his head.
He was staring blankly those divorce papers as tears rolled from his eyes. He picked up pen multiple times, trying to sign it, but he couldn't. He cried, cried, and cried.
After spending some hours pulling himself together, he signed it. Then, grabbing his phone, he checked her location.
But... His eyes widened seeing Miray's location is same from past 24 hours as it's been exact 24 hours from the second he left her there. Means she didn't leave from there. He started panicking, thinking the worst possible outcomes.

Getting on his car, he started driving maniacally. History was repeating...Same nervousness, same regret, same fear of losing someone he loves more than his life.
When he reached there, he started calling her name screaming his lungs out. The more he looked for her, the more his panick was increasing. He was filled with terror. After finding her everywhere, he possibly could, he reached towards the car he left for her again. He saw her phone Iying on the ground. Picking it up, he started checking the car and found a note...
He clutched the paper in his hand with anger. His face turned red... He screamed with all his strength and ran back towards the car he brought he started driving towards the location, which was mentioned. He knew who's behind this.
Harry, brother of his dead enemy Maxwell. Maxwell was a drug dealer and a mafia with many criminal records. He caused a fatal car accident involving Asfandiyar's parents because he was driving while drunk. Asfandiyar tried to take legal action towards him but never got successful. He decided to join Mafia World to take revenge and end his existence. Soon, Asfandiyar and Michael became the most feared and known mafias. Despite being mafia, they lived a normal life being kind to everyone.
Asfandiyar killed Maxwell to end the war he started. After the death of Maxwell, his younger brother Harry gave him a warning that he would kill every person he loved gradually, but after that, he disappeared as if he had left the country. After losing Michael, Asfandiyar never returned to the underworld. He drowned himself in business work.
After reading the letter left in the car, he knew Harry was behind all of this. He reached the location, and it was an abandoned industry. Everything was dark. Suddenly, someone hit him on the head with an iron rod from behind. He fell down, and the pain was too much to bear. Blood started to flow from his head, and then he became unconscious.

When he finally opened his eyes, a blurry vision greeted him, revealing shadow figures of men surrounding him. He looked up and saw a man standing in front of him.

He ordered to another man standing behind Asfandiyar. Asfandiyar was moving back and forth in an attempt to free himself as the man behind him tied a piece of cloth on his mouth.
Samuel
Easy man... Why are you in a hurry? I'll answer all your questions.You want to know who I am right? then let me introduce myself. I'm Samuel, and you're right, Harry sent me... Don't worry about Miray. She's safe with me. And about Michael...
Taking a pause, he chuckled sarcastically and began to speak again.

He stopped to let out chuckle and then started speaking again, bringing his face closer to Asfandiyar's face.

That night, he decided to propose to her. He was on his way to reach her place....when he was passing from that area, he committed suicide, or I can say GOT KILLED... We surrounded his car from all four sides and forcibly took him to that cliff edge. We forced him to make you believe that he's suiciding just because of Miray...it was easy as he was the first person whom you trusted with everything. We knew you're not going to suspect that it could've been a lie.

Convincing Michael was quite easy, too. We just simply threatened him that we'll kill his pretty girl... He thought you'll never believe his words, so it's not going to be a problem... but how can you not believe the words of a dying person? Poor Michael...poor you and poor Miray. Her cousin is still unaware of the fact that Michael was in love with her. We didn't leave any source to let the truth reach you. We forced him to make you promise him that you'll never discuss these things with Miray. We kept you in the dark all along, keeping an eye on your actions from the beginning.

And yes, after he was done talking to you, we snatched his phone and switched it off. Then, a car bumped into his car from behind, and he fell down with his car from that cliff edge. One more thing... smashed his head against the steering wheel to make sure he'll die... it was really fun.
Completing his sentence, Samuel started laughing. Asfandiyar was burning inside from intense rage. His face turned red as he was constantly trying to free himself and throw a punch on his face.
Suddenly, Samuel got a call. He started talking with that person. After finishing his talk, he turned towards Asfandiyar.
Samuel
You were missing Harry, right? Don't worry, he'll arrive here tomorrow. Until then, enjoy being alive.

The next day, later at night, Harry and Samuel came back with Miray and some men. She was tied. Harry smirked, seeing helpless Asfandiyar, who was looking constantly towards Miray with tears welling in his eyes. Harry went close to him and grabbed his hair to make eye contact with him.
Harry
How are you, kid? Long time no see.
Asfandiyar gave him death glare. Harry ordered to the man standing behind Asfandiyar.
Harry
Open his mouth, I want him to talk.
As the man was opening the cloth tied on his mouth, Harry stepped on his hand and crushed it with his boot. He smirked satisfyingly, watching him flinch. Suddenly, Miray turned around and gave him a nice kick shot on his face, making him stumble on his feet. He started screaming in pain.
Asfandiyar smirked in satisfaction.
Straightening his posture, Harry walked towards Miray and traced her face with a gun.

This girl is so annoying... What should I do with her? Let me think... What about I kill her in front of your own eyes? It'll be fun watching you beg to let her go. What do you think?

Asfandiyar started gritting his teeth, glaring straight at Harry. His constant attempt to untie himself resulted in red marks on his wrist. Harry began to laugh maniacally.

Are you kidding me? Look at yourself, look at your situation before giving someone threats. You can't touch even strands of my hair. If you don't want me to kill her brutally, then be careful with your words...

After Samuel left from there saying he'll be back with Harry the next day, Asfandiyar was just sitting there with an absent mind.
After some hours, suddenly, sounds of gunfire started coming from outside. Confused, Asfandiyar started looking towards outside, but nothing was visible to him. Suddenly, the men entered inside, and in no second, all men guarding Asfandiyar were shot. He was confused. What's happening?
He came running towards Asfandiyar and kneeled in front of him. Placing his hand on his cheek's Michael asked with concern.
He was taken aback upon seeing Michael alive. He couldn't believe his own eyes.He used to believe that Michael was no longer a part of this world.
Asfandiyar burst into tears, expressing the immense happiness he was feeling at that moment.
Michael
Easy man.. easy.. I'm alive.. Don't cry again. Your face is already stained with tears... You're looking horrible. ●Said Jokingly●

Confusion spread over Asfandiyar's face.

When they rammed my car from behind and I fell from that cliff edge, he witnessed everything...

He tried to call the cops, but they took his phone, warning him that they knew about his precious little son. They threatened him that they'll kill his son if he spoke up. So, he was forced to call the cops but had to say that a guy committed suicide before my eyes.

After they left, he could've returned home, but he felt that if he didn't do something, he'd be responsible for my death. Knowing all the paths around that mountain, he came down. Jumping into water, he pulled me out of the car. I had a head injury, and there was a lot of blood. But he was afraid that if he took me to the hospital, he would be caught. So, he nursed me back to health at his home. I was in a coma for about one year. When I regained consciousness, he revealed everything. I didn't have my phone or any contact numbers.

I wanted to come back, but his son requested me to stay until his upcoming birthday, away. But, when you were calling out for Miray today, that man heard you again as it was the same time when you lost me... The time when he returns home passing that mountain. He immediately came to the house and told me he saw you again. I left right away. I visited some of our trustees by myself to hire some men. Tracking your car, I found you're stuck here.

Asfandiyar was taking a step forward again to hit him, but she stopped him, placing her hand on his chest.
She reduced the distance between Harry and her. Grabbing his collar, she punched Harry right on his face with her bare fist. She kept punching him until he passed out.
Michael was fighting with other Harry's men, too, and Asfandiyar was watching her back. None of them noticed Samuel was missing from there.
He was hidden there since the very moment he saw Michael. He got the idea that he's in danger. He wanted to save himself, but he had no way to save his life, so he silently called cops hoping for survival.
When Harry passed out after repeatedly receiving punches from Miray, she grabbed a gun to shoot him. She wasn't ready to leave him alive. Suddenly, they heard a siren of cops car.
After hearing the sound of the siren, Michael looked around, and his gaze fell on Samuel. He was trying to get out. Michael ordered all of his men.

Take care of him, he deserves death, and there are cops outside... Find a way out and leave... There is no need to come back.
Asfandiyar and Miray didn't flinch upon hearing the siren. Her eyes were focused on her target while Asfandiyar was watching her back. Michael stepped forward to stop Miray.
