I used to think that Love at first sight was some kind of urban myth, that instant love is for the pages of a fantasy book, until I saw him, Asher ... I first saw him during a program, he was performing with a band as the keyboardist. Even though he was sitting and playing, his charm was something which cannot be neglected, standing out among all his team members. His face became so familiar to me even though, that was the first time I saw him. We went to the same University but due to our stream we were divided into different building blocks, only during programs I got the opportunity to see him. He was an excellent pianist, and I am sure he's very popular as well, judging from his musical play, and I am someone who was the complete opposite of him. The difference between us is like the sky and the earth. Even though he was popular with his skills he was the loneliest looking person I have ever seen. He was younger than me as he was in his final year of undergraduate and I am in my freshman year of post graduate.

Programs are mainly organized department wise and the whole University function was rare so with time pass I didn't see him. With that seven months had passed. Every year during March our university organized a spring fest which was very prominent among our state. It is observed for three days. We invited many local artists to perform as well as many competitions were held among the students. Among the competition the band beat contest was also there, and I was sure that he was going to take part in that competition.

After seven months he changed his hairstyle he has ear length hair, at that time I also cut my hair very short, so my friends used to tease me with every guy who has long hair.

My friends Alice, Amara and Ida, not knowing that I had a secret crush on him from before started teasing me. That day he was walking up and down near us and once he crossed us my friends kept on teasing me. That night I confessed to my friend that I like that guy , they were shocked at my sudden confession but I was happy letting my secret out. Four of us used to hang out and among those Ida was absent on the first day and the next day Amara was again absent. On the second day we came face to face with Asher and Ida without knowing anything teasing me with Asher he was carrying his piano in his hand. Both me and Alice were shocked as Ida predicted it, though she was teasing me Alice and me both know that I like Asher.

I have a hopeless crush on someone I have no chance with. Even though Asher does not know that I have a crush on him, sometimes he makes me feel like I actually have a chance with him, but when I tried to take that chance I realised I never really did.
