This is a story about a boy named Unma Kagayo. He was born in a forest where many animals lived. His mother, Nella Kenba, came from a rich and powerful family. But she fell in love with a poor man, and her family was angry. They sent her away to the forest, where she died after giving birth to Unma. A kind old man found Unma and took him home. He told everyone that Nella Kenba was dead.
One night, when Unma was a baby, a big storm came. A huge lightning hit the old man’s house. Then, an angel came out of the sky. The angel wore shiny gold armor and carried a sharp sword. The angel went inside the house and smiled at Unma. The angel played with Unma and talked to the old man. The angel said, “Call this boy Unma Kagayo. I will come back for him when he is ready.” Then, the angel flew away.
The old man raised Unma as his own son. He was poor and had a hard time finding food and money. But he loved Unma and did not give up. The old man used to be a teacher at the Wisdom House of Celestria, a place where people learned many things. He taught Unma how to walk, talk, and write. He also taught him many other things. The old man had a secret. He had a dark guardian, a powerful and evil spirit that lived inside him.
One night, when Unma was three years old, something big and heavy fell on the roof of the house. The old man ran outside very fast, because his dark guardian made him very quick. He saw a big monster that looked like a goat with horns, but also like a human. The monster said, “You are the one who takes care of the child. Do you know how important he is? He can destroy all of us. You, stupid old man, do not know the prophecy.” The old man said, “I do not care about the prophecy. I only care that you leave my house and my son alone.” He took out a knife and killed the monster. The monster turned into smoke and laughed evilly as it vanished.
The old man felt that Unma was special. He asked his dark guardian about him. The dark guardian appeared before him. It was a scary creature with horns, wings, and no clothes. It was black and red. The dark guardian said, “The child has a lot of mana, a kind of magic energy. I cannot see his guardian. Maybe he is the one who can kill all the evil guardians.” The old man wanted to know more. He said, “What is this prophecy? I know that the people in this kingdom want to get rid of all the evil guardians, no matter who they are.” The dark guardian said, “The prophecy is hidden in a book. The book tells what will happen in the future. The leader of the guardians in Celestria took the book and hid it in a chest that no one can see. But it does not matter, because the prophecy was already known by many people before the book disappeared.” The old man was not sure what to think. He said, “When the time comes, I hope Unma will understand that not all evil is bad, and not all angels are good. I will send him to the Wisdom House of Celestria to learn more.”
The decision of Kaynu Densu, the old man, to allow Unma to study at the Wisdom House of Celestria was met with a respectful acknowledgment from his guardian. As Kaynu spoke of his intentions, the guardian replied with a solemn assurance,
"I will respect your decision, Kaynu Densu."
This elderly figure, a once-mighty teacher of great renown, had dedicated years of service to the Wisdom House of Celestria. Known for his exceptional prowess in teaching combat, Kaynu garnered accolades and praise, and his achievements in battle only added to his reputation. Yet, with success came envy, and his fellow teachers grew suspicious, closely monitoring his every move as they sensed a deeper strength within him.
In the radiant Kingdom of Celestria, where benevolent guardian angels were revered as protectors, guiding citizens toward virtue and compassion, a subtle undercurrent of temptation persisted. Although devilish forces were believed to be banished, the resilience of the kingdom's inhabitants was tested by whispers of temptation. Those found with guardian devils faced severe consequences—punishment, exile, and, in extreme cases, execution. Every citizen had a guardian, visible only to its owner, yet partially revealed when the guardian took possession of its master, displaying 50% of its form during such moments.
KAYNU'S PAST
One fateful day, a teacher by the name of Drako Shaido issued a challenge to Kaynu. Fueled by pride, Kaynu accepted without hesitation. Drako, a master of white magic, possessed a guardian capable of producing intense, searing light and a gleaming sword. His natural strength, independent of his guardian, had earned him fame. Kaynu, originally from the kingdom of Infernalis but having migrated secretly to Celestria, harbored an evil guardian with the unique ability to move at near-light speed. A master of swordsmanship, Kaynu wielded his blade with the swiftness of light.
The clash between Kaynu and Drako promised to unravel secrets hidden beneath the surface of their seemingly ordinary lives, paving the way for unforeseen challenges and revelations in the Kingdom of Celestria.
The battle between Drako and Kaynu unfolded in the arena of the Celestria kingdom, drawing the attention of almost every citizen, including the king and the general of the Guardians Knights. Amidst the intense spectacle, the two combatants engaged in a fierce duel.
As the fight reached its climax, Drako confidently declared,
"You will not win. Speed alone is not enough to overcome my white magic and strength. I am more superior than you in talents, Kaynu."
Undeterred, Kaynu responded,
"Go ahead, but I'll ensure to give you a good fight. I know you are formidable, but I won't allow you to tarnish my reputation. I will emerge victorious, Drako."
Kaynu felt a tinge of nervousness, knowing that if he revealed his guardian, everyone would witness its malevolent nature. Such an exposure could lead to severe consequences, possibly punishment. Unbeknownst to Kaynu, Drako's plan was to force his guardian to possess him, revealing 50% of its appearance. As the appointed moment approached, the King of Celestria rose from his seat, and everyone in the arena ceased their activities to bow in respect. The king spoke,
"Let the battle commence without utilizing the abilities of both your guardians."
Drako and Kaynu concurred, acknowledging the decree with a bow.
KAYNU'S PAST - AT ARENA OF CELESTRIA KINGDOM
The King of Celestria brimmed with excitement as he rose to his feet, signifying the commencement of the battle between Kaynu and Drako. The decree that both combatants were to abstain from utilizing their guardians' abilities added a layer of anticipation to the already charged atmosphere. Unbeknownst to Drako, this directive clashed with his initial intention to compel Kaynu into revealing his evil guardian. In stark contrast, Kaynu, aware of the potential consequences of exposing his malevolent guardian, welcomed the restriction imposed by the king.
As the moment of truth arrived, both warriors drew their swords. Drako's blade emanated a radiant light, a stark contrast to the darkness exuded by Kaynu's weapon. The initial move belonged to Kaynu, who unleashed a dark wave, enveloping Drako.
With confidence, Kaynu declared,
"Your strength is insufficient to withstand my Infinite Slash, Dark Magic Sword Infinite Slash!"
In response, Drako wielded his sword to deflect the incoming assault, but the power of Kaynu's Infinite Slash proved overwhelming. Drako's left arm bore the brunt of the attack, prompting a defiant response.
"I will not let you succeed, evil!"
he exclaimed, followed by a defiant proclamation,
"White Magic Evil Destroyer Slash."
However, the battle took an unexpected turn as Kaynu, apparently retreating, lured Drako into an aggressive pursuit. In the midst of the chase, time seemed to freeze in Kaynu's perspective. In this suspended moment, he utilized his guardian's dark magic, summoning a black hole that absorbed the light from Drako's sword, rendering it rusted and fragile. Taking advantage of the weakened state of Drako's weapon, Kaynu swiftly struck, breaking the blade.
The unforeseen turn of events left the audience, including the king, in stunned silence. Drako, now enraged, chose to defy the king's command and revealed 50% of his guardian's appearance. Despite the intervention of the knights of the general, Drako persisted in his attempt to expose Kaynu's evil guardian to everyone present.
In the face of this escalating situation, the general of knights prepared to intervene further. However, the King of Celestria restrained him, whispering a crucial decision:
"Let them use their guardians."
The general conveyed this directive to the assembled spectators, sparking renewed excitement.
Drako, fueled by anticipation, intensified his assault on Kaynu. Despite the formidable appearance of Drako's guardian—complete with wings and silver armor, signifying its rank 2 status—Kaynu struggled to defend against the onslaught. The hierarchy of guardian armors was explained, with diamond at rank 0, gold at rank 1, silver at rank 2, bronze at rank 3, leather at rank 4, and the last rank lacking armor, meant for healing or support.
As the battle raged on, Kaynu found himself fatigued and unable to stand. Despite his physical exhaustion, he refrained from issuing a command for his guardian to possess him. Drako, sensing an opportunity, decided to capitalize on Kaynu's weakened state and aimed to conclude the battle with a powerful attack.
With a resounding shout, Drako declared,
"Die, Evil! White Magic Light Laser's Slash."
The arena fell into a tense silence, awaiting the outcome of the climactic clash between light and darkness.
