"I remember the day it happened" Jessica continued," I was coming home for work early after days having to constantly work all nighters to finish up unfinished paperwork."

" I was exhausted, as you probably could imagine" Jess( short for Jessica ) said.

" I was dying to stay home and after asking my boss if I could take a vacation for a few days, which Lucas and I had planned to spend together, you could imagine how heartbroken I was when I found him in bed with another woman" Jess said looking over to Lucas now disgusted.

" It's not even his first time cheating either" Jess stated.

" Is this true, Mr. Gale?" The judge question waiting for his answer.

" Of course it isn't your honor" Lucas Gale defended.

" Why don't you show the judge on your dandy little flash drive hanging next to to your keys? I'm sure they will clarify the situation?" Jess announced.

" You have such dirty videos hanging next to the keys to our home and slept with countless other women in our bed? You're disgusting?" Jess said furiously.

" Thank you Mrs.....?" Jess finished saying," Navis, Ms. Navis"

" Well Mr. Gale, can you show me the continents of the flash drive please?" The judge asked.

Lucas hesitantly handed over the flash drive for the judge, Mrs. Williams only to realize that Jessica was right. The case was wrapped up quickly after that with Lucas getting a 200,000 dollar fine.

Lucas and Jess divorced and Jess swore to herself that she would focus on her career and relationships after. After a few weeks she had totally forgotten about Lucas and made quite a name for herself among her colleagues, the workaholic perfectionist, because she always seemed to be work even though her work is extraordinary.

One day she came to work to see Marilyn, her best friend talking to her husband, Ramon before leaving to meet her.

" As happy as ever, I see?" Jess said looking at Ramon before looking bounced int back at her friend. Mary( short for Marilyn) glanced at Ramon and smiled before saying," Yeah, we are"

" Anyway how are you doing? Did you get a new boyfriend as yet?" Mary asked concerned.

" Mary, I told you already. I'm going to focus on my career." Jess answered.

" Come on, give dating a try. After all you were with Lucas for 5 years including the time you were married to him and before that you only went on two dates so you're not that experienced" Mary stated.

 " Thanks for saying out my lack of dating experience, Mary" Jess said

" You know what I meant. At least give it some thought?" Mary asked.

" Fine, I'll think about it" Jess answered.

Jess finished up her conversation with Mary before going to her desk and placing down her bag. After getting everything set up she went to the Cafeteria to buy some coffee for the employees when she bounced into a handsome man also buying something.

" Oh my God, I'm so sorry. Are you alright?" Masil asked.

" I'm fine, it's no big deal" The man replied.

" I'm sorry, do you work here? I've never seen you here before" Masil question.

" Yeah. Sorry for the late introduction, I'm Damien Schön but I prefer to just be called Damien", he answered.

" Masil Navis" Masil said stretching out her hand waiting for a handshake.

Damien smiled and shook her hand.

" I prefer if you call me Ms. Navis." Madil stated.

" Alright Ms. Navis. Are you treating your colleagues to coffee?" Damien asked.

"Yes" Masil replied.

" Would you like me to help you carry some of them?" Damien asked.

" Um, actually I would thank you" Masil responded

Damien went to buy what he wanted but Masil paid for it.

" You didn't have to do that, you know" Damien stated.

" I know but it's to thank you for helping me" Masil said smiling softly at him before picking up one of the two coffee carriers given to her by the Cafeteria lady to hold the coffees. In her other hand she had one single cup that was different that the one with coffee in it. It looked like a créme frappuccino.

Damien picked up the other coffee carrier before looking at Masil as she sipped from frappuccino

and smiled.

Masil began walking and Damien followed her.

" Do you not like coffee?" Damien asked.

" No, no, it's not that. Caffeinated drinks make me feel sleepy" Masil responded.

" So you drink something very sweet, I see" Daimien said.

" Are you judging me, Mr. I eat muffins for breakfast?" Masil said.

" No, actually it make a lot of sense" Damien responded.

" Are you being sarcastic?" Masil asked.

" No I'm not and what is so wrong with muffins for breakfast anyway?" Damien questioned.

" Oh what, nothing" Masil said sarcastically.

" Come on, tell me" Damien said nudging his shoulder into hers.

" I find it very ironic that you pointed out drinking something sweet in the morning when you are eating something sweet" Masil stated.

"Technically I didn't point it out" Damien said slyly.

" And that's why I said nevermind" Masil defended.

" True" Damien muttered.

Before they knew it, Masil arrived at her destination and placing down the drinks on an empty table.

" What a coincidence, this is where I needed to go too" Damien announced.

" The Marketing department ent?" Damien asked.

" Yep" Masil answered.

" Wait you're the new apprentice?" Masil asked.

" Yep, it's him in the flesh" Damien answered, looking at Masil.

" Do you want me to start showing you certain things operate? It will be far easier if you start early" Masil questioned waiting for his response.

" Sure " Damien answered.

" Alright, follow me" Masil said.

Masil lead Damien to the printer and showed him how it works before showing him around the rest oft the marketing department. As she did they chatted before arriving back in the office and continued chatting.
