A bright flare of light, flashed into my eyes, engulfing my entire body to a state of fright, I jolted, suddenly awake in a dark place, panicking. I shivered at the sudden humidity, my surroundings were cold and wet and the air was thick. I fluttered, adjusting to the evening sun before me

and thinking to myself “What the hell threw me up?” Scoffing. Splash, splash, noticing the shallow body of water wrapping my physique, I place my hands down picking up my now-limbered body. I’m guessing yesterday's events must have left my body quite vulnerable. As I began to walk I noticed something felt different about my body it felt bigger, stronger yet my skin even felt tighter, smoother I could see clear as day and my senses were off the charts, and I couldn’t seem to figure out where I am, where I was yesterday or anything before for that matter.

Looking at the forest before me, I think I’m just gonna walk in whichever direction until I find something.

After walking a couple of kilometres -which felt like an eternity-, I came to a stop when I stumbled across a cave after carelessly falling whilst I was looking away, yet courageously I got up, brushed the dust off and walked into the cave. Not knowing what to expect as the light obscured behind me, casting even my shadow dimmer by the step, I obstruct a stone after some minutes of stepping in crunchy drying rocks, trying to brace myself I lean forward and submerge my hand in some cooling water, man I miss that feeling, I immediately start indulging the water. My long-anticipated thirst was quenched but that water tasted so good that the bruises I'd gotten earlier no longer hurt, matter of fact I couldn’t even feel them. Quickly washing my face, I also failed to notice that I could see clear as day in the dark, the clear water moving and my heart jumping at the sigh of the now steady reflection on the surface of the water, when did I start looking like that, noticing my facial features, my delicate almond eyes, my silky gold brown melanin skin, my full lips and the twisted dreadlocks handing over my face I start to get shivers up my spine as I notice the sensation of something looming and moving over my shoulder and reaching beyond my ear.

The dramatic sound slowly turned around to see a sombre creature growing on him, he backed into a rocky ledge seeking and failing to find balance he fell backing what’s too be an abyss, In a short breath he was suddenly engulfed into a thick pillowy blue luminescent substance, he was completely submerged continuously sinking deeper and deeper into this unknown substance which seemed like it was pit, endlessly deep and the pressure building up in my ears. What the fuck? Where am I and what is this feeling? Am I hallucinating, is this a trick? Where am I? Alright let’s calm down and think for a second,

My back broke the first layer of what seemed to be a puffy layer of air, I arched my back at the feeling, I wasn’t able to brace for the next impact, it wasn’t even as painful until I broke the second layer and the third and the fourth until finally I reached an intense sensation of pressure, my head throbbed and my skin became sore and tight, I clawed at the air and my heart dropped when I finally opened my eyes, oh I don’t like deep water but this. I failed to notice that I wasn’t even breathing, I just remember it looked like I was in a nebula, I saw everything and nothing in a split second. A sudden presence brought my attention back and dragged me out of the abyss. A shallow breath escaped my soul when I woke up and realized I was back in the cave. What the fuck was that all about. I quickly got to my feet still heavily catching my breath. But nothing. The abyss has fallen into and the creature I’ve been fighting, has all gone in an instant. I caught a figure slipping away but by the time I regained full consciousness, I figured I'd just let it be.

Then I regained my consciousness so I got up and checked my body to see if I was in one piece or missing any limbs/fingers “Sounds” What a relief well ever just happened that was pretty scary anyway, hmm what shall I do know? I asked myself.” Should I continue exploring this huge cave?! {maybe I can find some treasures in here somewhere} Let’s go, I started walking around in the cave it was dark but crystals were shining brightly in some corners of the cave meaning it was fairly bright in here, so as I continued walking I came up on the end of the cave, there laid Gaint spiders 🕷️ hanging of the walls and lots of guard spiders on the floor then the queen spider laid in the back, seems to be guarding something then I felt a strange sensation down my spine “ trembling” I turnt around to my surprise there was a huge black spider that had just struck me with poison/paralyze, I fall to the floor wrapped in web from head to toe { am I really going to die here? Is this how I die} while being dragged over to the queen spider to be eaten, feeling completely vulnerable/defeated a voice rang through my head { do you want to live? Do you want power?} huh? What is this voice?

At first, he felt warm and a bit wet, and then slowly, he woke up... it felt like he had just had the longest dream of his entire life. When he opened his eyes, everything was still dark, though,

"What happened... where am I?"

Memories of the dream began to flow in his mind. In his last moments, his mind replayed the scenes of his life, a series of choices and regrets. He saw himself as a young boy, full of dreams and ambition to become a [Awakener], but he listened to others who advised him differently. He ended up trapped in a corporate job, losing

touch with his true passion.

The memory that haunted him the most was when money went missing from his company's account. Suddenly, he was blamed for the theft, and everything fell apart. His job vanished, friends turned their backs, and even his family doubteu him. With nowhere to go, he found himself in a dark alley, trying to protect a homeless woman from an attacker.

In those final moments, he felt the weight of his mediocre existence and the remorse that came with it. He wished he had followed his dreams and not settled for a life of conformity. The pain of betrayal and isolation tore at his heart. But amidst the darkness, he also saw flickers of compassion and courage within himself.

The memories were kind of foggy, but he could tell that he truly lived a full life like that; the regret he felt, the regret that he was feeling, they couldn't be just parts of a dream. He also saw himself bleeding a lot... the chances of survival were none.
