Prologue
In my world there are Vampires and Humans. Humans are afraid of Vampires and out of fear would do anything to keep them away, whereas Vampires despise humans for harming their kind and forcing them into hiding.
Today was my Anniversary!
This year we had decided to not have a fancy anniversary
something simple but filled with love was our theme
We decided to have it in the tree house we build together when I moved in with him on my 18th birthday
I was really excited! It was going to be so romantic
I climbed up the ladder to enter the treehouse cautiously ( I was early since we planned to meet at 9pm but I came at 8:55pm)
I was wearing heels and didn't want to injure myself on this special day
