Humans nowadays don't believe in mythology but there was a time where the gods were more than just a myth. A time where humans feared the mood swings of the gods, looking up to their residence.
Which was no other than the greek mountain Olympus, home of Zeus. Who preferred to stick to the name of Aiden, King of Olympus and god of thunder and lightning. He was the ruler of all gods, leading them with strict but understanding hand. By his side, Hera, also known as Ava, the Wife and Queen of Aiden. Their relationship was not so strong as it seemed, Aiden wishing for someone less jealous or fiery.
Which was why he has found his love in someone else, Demeter with the real name of Nora, goddess of harvest. Aiden was preying on Nora for over a decade until the beautiful goddess gave in and they spent hours over hours loving each other.
Nora ended up pregnant with Aiden's child and that was where all of the tragedy would start. Once Ava, Aiden's wife found out about the affair, she was furious. Trying to kill Nora and her unborn child but Aiden hid his secret lover until Ava's anger would vanish.
But it unfortunately never did, something broke in between the married couple that tragic day, they drove apart but stayed together as they didn't want a war coming upon the other gods who would have to choose a side in between them.
Nine months passed and Nora gifted Aiden a lovely child. Something Ava seemed not to be capable of, bearing Aiden an heir. The child was a girl and a wish come true by the god of thunder, instantly adoring the small baby giggling in Nora's arms, the exhausted goddess of harvest smiling a happy smile.
That was the day, Eleanor, goddess of flowers, Persephone, was born.
She was one of a kind, animals seemed to love the little girl, flowers blossomed wherever her steps were taking her, happiest smile on her face whenever Aiden came to visit her. The god has hidden his lover and his child from his furious wife in the forest, only visiting them from time to time but otherwise staying away.
It has been one of these days where Aiden has come to visit them, but this time, Ava has found out where he was going and followed him. But when she laid her eyes on the cutely giggling Baby on Aiden's lap, her anger vanished into thin air, her plan to kill the Baby disappearing the second she laid her eyes on her.
Now, she had a new aim in front of her eyes. And that was snatching the cute Baby, Eleanor, Aiden's child, away from Nora, the concurrent for Aiden's love and the title as wife and Queen.
From now on, Eleanor was raised with a family split from hatred and fighting for her attention. But that didn't stop her from growing up beautiful.
Nora
"Eleanor, my beautiful rose, where are you going?"
The call of Demeter, goddess of harvest caused the beautiful raven to turn around, a sweet smile on her face like always, golden cheeks glowing in the morning light, black hair tinted in the spectacle of colors given by the sun and flowers surrounding her frame like always which stretched out to reach for the delightful sun.
How funny, since Helios, god of the sun and called Austin was anything bright and sunny, always a bit on the grumpy side but he still fulfilled his job.
Eleanor
"I wanted to go to the flower fields, mother"
Eleanor smiled, showing off her basket before giggling cutely, making her mother coo.
Nora
"Take some nymphs with you, Sweetheart. I don't want you out there alone. Someone could steal you from me and you're my beautiful little rose, aren't you?"
Nora cooed, pulling her daughter into a bone crushing hug, making Eleanor squeak but soon responded to the hug.
Eleanor
"Okay, whatever makes you sleep at night"
She cheekily responded, Nora gasping outraged.
Nora
"Oh you teasing little thing! How dare you talk to your mother like this!"
Nora exclaimed but a fond smile was playing on her lips, knowing Eleanor was just joking and warmth spread in her heart.
Nora
"But come back right after you picked the flowers, you hear me? I feel like someone's been watching you since a few days now and I can't shake the feeling off"
Nora said worried, holding her beloved daughter close to her.
Eleanor
"Don't worry mother, I'll be careful! Pinky promise"
The little goddess of flowers smiled up to her mother, Nora leaning down to ruffle her black locks.
Nora
"Off you go, my Baby"
She lovingly told Eleanor, letting her out of her hold. Her daughter cutely waved at Nora before running off, a cute skip in her steps, Nora lovingly watching after her precious daughter.
It might not have worked out with Aiden, them being separated by a whole lot of issues, one being called Ava, but at least, she had her daughter, Eleanor who was a sweet little angel blessed by any god out there, pure and breathtakingly stunning. Nora smiled softly, her daughter was her pride and everything good she ever received in her immortal life.
Nora
"My beautiful rose... always dreaming with your head in the clouds... I just hope it won't become a disadvantage for you..."
Trap~
It was a beautiful sunny day and the little goddess of flowers wanted to enjoy the day out in one of her favorite flower fields.
Eleanor was accompanied by a few of her mother's servants, some Nymphs who were told to watch over the little beauty while Nora, Eleanor's mother was busy until she'll come back to pick her lovely daughter up.
Eleanor's soft black hair was falling into her eyes while she was humming a sweet melody leaving her plump pink lips and she tucked a few strands behind her ear as she bent down to pick another flower up in order to add it to her bouquet.
Every time the girls's feet touched the soft green grass under her bare feet, new flowers started to blossom, leaving an explosion of colour everywhere she went. It was a lovely sight to see and it made gods as well as humans turn their head to follow the small raven with their eyes.
Eleanor on the other side would always blush by the hot stares she would receive, letting her onyx hair fall into her face to cover her eyes, looking down timidly before hurrying to get away from the scene and from the stares.
She was used to attention since she was a god but it still freaked her out. The Nypmhs on the other side loved attention but their eyes were currently on the petit daughter of Demeter, watching her with hawk eyes.
They didn't dare to look away from Eleanor, knowing the threat of Nora. The girl's mother was very overprotective when it came to her beautiful daughter and she would make the Nymphs' life a living hell if something happened to Eleanor.
Not only was Nora very protective over her, Eleanor also a special place in Zeus' heart, she might be the 'bastard' daughter of Aiden but she was very much loved by her father.
Aiden was no other than the king of Olympus and you might expect Nora, god of harvest to be his wife, staying next to her side but that wasn't the case. Nora was just the mother of Eleanor and Aiden's first love. Some said she still loved the god but it was a secret held behind closed doors.
The reason was no other than Aiden's actual wife Ava. Who hated Nora with a burning passion and wanted to take everything away from the woman. Including her lovely daughter Eleanor.
Ava absolutely adored the beautiful raven, always spoiling her and putting her on her protection as well. Ava has always wanted to adopt Eleanor but nearly a broke loose after this announcement of her wish, Nora being incredibly enraged about this daring wish.
Before they could kill each other, Aiden went in between them, Nora claimed Eleanor as her legitimate daughter, Aiden letting his past lover keep their daughter, creating another crack in his marriage of him and Ava.
The god of thunder and his Queen have once loved each other but it was now only a marriage agreement in between them with no actual love. Because Ava being always jealous of Nora made them drift apart and especially her advances of taking the role as Eleanor's mother.
Eleanor therefore was pretty much protected by the most powerful gods of Olympus. Causing the Nymphs to be extra careful when it came to him.
Leon
"Ella! Please don't leave our sight!"
One Nymph by the name of Leon called out worried for the small raven, watching her. The Nypmhs were water creatures and couldn't leave the water, something very unhelpful regarding their duty of watching Persephone.
The beauty turned around with a sweet smile in her pretty pink lips.
Eleanor
"Don't worry, Leonie, I'm careful"
She smiled sweetly to calm the Nymph and Leon immediately relaxed.
Leon
"Such a good, obedient child"
He hummed relieved, the Nypmhs had a soft spot for the stunning goddess of flowers.
They watched from their pond with smiles how Eleanor skipped elegantly through the field, picking up a few flowers and talking to them. It was adorable to watch.
But their eyes weren't the only ones in the gorgeous raven.
Eleanor
"Oh, look at you... aren't you a pretty one"
Eleanor called out excitedly when her eyes fell on a stunning red rose in the middle of a few dull pink roses.
Her eyes fixed on the beautiful object and she excitedly walked closer, wanting to add the beautiful thing into her collection. It was shimmering and sparkling just like a jewel would do and Eleanor couldn't wait to get her hands on this beauty. The Nypmhs on the other side were warily watching the raven and Leon grew uncomfortable.
Leon
"Eleanor, dear, please come back!"
He shouted, his tail flicked worried while eyeing the delicate girl who just bent down to pick the flower up. But as soon as her soft finger tips came in contact with the petals, the flower faded away into dark dust, getting flown away by an upcoming breeze.
The goddess of flowers watched shocked and with open mouth how the dust flew through the air. Never in her immortal life has happened something like that before and she was too surprised to move for a few seconds. Her pouty pink lips parted, innocent doe eyes staring sadly into the air.
She of course didn't realize that this was all a trap to pull her away from her protectors.
