Narrator
In the middle of the forest, there was a small town, very popular during the holiday seasons, as it was perfect for doing a variety of sports during the hot season, as well as in the cold months, but for the most part in this small town only the local people lived, and those visitors who came and went for seasons never managed to see the beautiful forest that surrounded them, since the goddess Luna was very jealous of the privacy of her most precious creatures and protected them from prying and malicious eyes.
This small town was home to the Red Moon pack, a prosperous and strong pack, on the outskirts of town, in a huge wooden house, Megan, the alpha's youngest daughter, was in her room, watching her parents from the window.
The former alphas of the pack were mates and it showed from miles away how much they loved each other, they were one of the few lucky ones who had been lucky enough to meet at a very young age, since they met at the tender age of 16 when their wolf awoke and they recognized each other as mates, their destined mate.
For Megan as a child seeing her parents was magical and she couldn't wait for her mate to appear, but for her, as for many others, the Moon Goddess had other plans for them and her mate was not in the pack.
Despite looking young, Megan had already crossed 100 a few years ago, although she looked like she was only 20, since werewolves were a long-lived species, so much so that some members could live up to 1000 years, they were a race of great strength that is why they had relatively short childhoods, as well as a short old age too, and their youth was very long, as if it were any human, a werewolf grew year after year, despite the fact that their wolf woke up at 16, that did not change the growth rate, until they reached the age of 20, where they seemed to stop aging, already for the next centuries, their appearance would only age about 20 years until they reached 900 years where as in their childhood, they aged again year after year, it was strange, but that was their nature.
Theoretically, Megan was still a very young werewolf, but seeing that her parents found each other so quickly, she always believed that the same thing would happen to her, but it wasn't like that, Megan knows that finding your mate is not an easy task, since some are born even with 100 years apart, or were even human, which was a sentence for the mates who were waiting for them, because sometimes the destined couples were very far from each other and it took them centuries to find each other and you had to add to that the age difference, it was very dangerous, since after a male or female werewolf passed 500 years old, they lost their humanity leaving only the wolf, a dangerous creature that only obeys its alpha, and by becoming irremediably condemned their mate.
When you had a human partner it was worse, because they had very short lives and sometimes they could die before being found, since without the wolf mark on their body, a human could not join their life to that of their wolf partner and therefore obtain the longevity enough to be by your side, and it was the latter that terrified Megan the most, due to the fact that at 127 years old, if her partner was human, she would be at least 27 years old or even older.
Megan walks away from the window because what she used to find beautiful now depresses her, so she goes looking for her brother, he is 15 years older than her, and she still hasn't found her mate, but despite that she is already the alpha of the pack, and it is Megan who takes care of the Moon's duties until her brother finds her mate, when she arrives at her brother's office the young woman enters without knocking and finds her brother with a young woman sitting on his lap and kissing.
"Julian," she yells as she enters
"Megan, I've already told you to knock before entering," her sister scolds her, while the young woman gets off her brother's legs and gives Megan a murderous look and leaves
Unlike his sister, Julian gave himself over to the pleasures of the flesh when he turned 50, since he had gotten tired of saving himself for whoever his partner will be, although he is still looking forward to it, he does not intend to be alone. the time it takes her to arrive, for her part Megan is still saving herself for her partner and loneliness is already taking its toll on her, that's why she looked for her brother, she knew that he would make her feel better and help her make a decision .
"Well, you ruined it, so what brings you to my office? That I know of, we have no work pending," Julian tells his sister.
"So what are you doing in your office?" this one asks him
"I'm hiding from Mom and Dad, now you answer"
"I came to ask you something"
"Well, go ahead, do it"
"You see, the truth is that lately I've been feeling a bit lonely, and I've thought about looking for a temporary partner, but at the same time I feel like it's not right that I would be cheating on my mate"
"Megan, sister, you don't have to feel that way, you see, we live a long time and not all of us are as lucky as Mom and Dad, it's normal for us to have other partners, for example, humans live much less than us and even then they sometimes have countless partners, but when they want to settle down for real, they leave that behind for the right one, it's the same, imagine that your partner is like me, little sister, you don't have to be alone until your mate appears, you are a free and beautiful woman, so experiment, if I am sure of anything, it is that our destined partner will arrive when we least expect it, so if you want to date someone or have an adventure, go ahead, but be discreet or our parents will crucify you like me,"Julian tells his sister, to which she hugs him affectionately, since she knew that talking to her brother would help her.
Megan went back to her room and decided to take the plunge, but if she was sure of anything, it was that it wouldn't be anyone from the pack, since that could complicate things, so she decided to look for a partner among humans, especially from the nearby city. , searched for hours on sites to find partners, but nothing convinced her, everything was so impersonal, and to that we had to add that there were people who lied on those sites.
"This is more difficult than I thought"
She kept looking a little more, but when she was about to give up, an ad appeared.
“Looking for your ideal partner, your destined partner, come see me, I will help you find him, my name is Susana Tracker and I am sure that that person is out there and I will help you find him, call the phone number xx -xx-xx-xx-xx, and make an appointment, that special person is waiting for you"
Megan found the ad attractive so she didn't hesitate to call, maybe this person would help her find what she was looking for.
SUSANA
There’s nothing more beautiful than love. Although I’ve never had a partner, I’ve seen love on many occasions, and what makes me even happier is knowing that I somehow helped two people meet and fall in love.
Ever since I was little, I’ve always had a gift: matchmaking, finding people their ideal partner. The first people I used my gift on were my parents—well, more like just my mother. You see, when I was 6 years old, my father asked my mother for a divorce because he had met a woman at work whom he had fallen in love with at first sight. Upon realizing that no matter how much time passed, he still couldn't stop thinking about her, he decided to fight for her, and for that reason, he filed for divorce. The news hit my mother like a bucket of cold water, and I used to eavesdrop on their fights to the point that I came to hate my father and that woman.
For my sake, the divorce didn't last long and they reached an agreement. My parents sold everything they had acquired together, including the house, which is why we moved. My mother and I moved to a new place, and my father stayed close by so he could spend time with me. Three months after the divorce, my father introduced me to his new partner because he wanted us to get along. At first, I was determined to hate her and make everything as difficult as possible for her, but when I saw her next to my father, I noticed something I had never noticed when he was with my mother—a connection. I knew they were soulmates and I couldn't separate them, so I decided that if my father's soulmate wasn’t my mother, that meant my mother's soulmate was out there and I would find him.
At only 7 years old, there weren't many places I could go looking, but in my childish mind, I was sure I would find him, and I did. I convinced my mom to take me to the amusement park because I had a hunch. And there he was! It was love at first sight for both of them.
My father got married 6 months after the divorce and my mother 3 months after him, and now they are both very happy. They reconciled and now the 4 of them are very good friends, and the best part is, I have 5 younger siblings, 2 from my mother and 3 from my father. Although at first I was angry with my father for separating from my mother, I quickly understood that it was for the best and the result supports it, since they were never as happy during their marriage as they are now.
After successfully setting up my mother with my stepfather, I didn't pair up any more couples until I turned 12 and a new teacher arrived. When I saw him, I knew he would be the perfect match for one of my neighbors. So, after insisting and insisting (since two adults don't look kindly on a little girl trying to play cupid), I became so annoying that they accepted just to get me off their backs. Not even my parents’ punishments stopped me. In the end, they bought me a cake and I was in charge of delivering the rings at their wedding. To this day, they are still married and have 3 children.
After that time, I did it again. Just a few months later, I set up my best friend's father with a department store clerk, and that's when I knew it was something I wanted to do for a living.
“Why don't you make it your profession?” Elizabeth said to me when I told her about it.
“My profession?” I asked, not understanding.
“Yes, there are people who do that for a living—matchmaking—and they get paid for it,” she said with a smile.
“My God, Eli, you're a genius!” I told my friend, because at only 13 years old, I already knew what I wanted to do with my life.
So here we are, 15 years after that day, with my own business, “Soulmates,” in which my friend is my partner. When I told my parents what I wanted to do, they both supported me, and although it was difficult at first, I currently have a good number of clients that allow Elizabeth and I to live well. We’re not rich, but we can treat ourselves every now and then. And best of all, all the couples we’ve matched, for a little over 7 years now, are still together and most are already married and very happy, something that makes me very proud of my work.
“Guess who's in the waiting room?” my friend said, entering the small office where I take appointments. The office is in a small apartment that we adapted as our center of operations.
“Miss Megan Red,” I replied, since she was the appointment I had scheduled in my calendar.
“Well, yes, but you’ve already seen her. She's a model; none of the men in our database are up to her standards,” my friend told me as she peeked through the small window in the door and insisted that I do the same.
“Eli, what have I told you? Looks don't matter, it's what's inside that counts. What good is it to be handsome if you're a lousy person?” I scolded my friend as I got up to see the woman who had made such an impression on her.
And she was right. This woman is gorgeous. What the hell is she doing here? A woman like her wouldn’t need help finding a partner. The woman in our waiting room is probably over 5’7”, redhead, thin… Well, my friend wasn't kidding when she said she was a model.
“You know, we should ban women like her from coming in. They make me feel less beautiful than I am.”
“Girl, don't be silly, you're beautiful,” I said, and it's true. Eli is a very attractive woman, 5’6”, light brown hair, and dark brown eyes that sometimes look black, make her very beautiful.
“I know, I just wanted you to tell me,” she said, and I rolled my eyes. This girl will never change. “You think she has a brother I could meet?” she asked.
“I don't know, but since we just complimented you, go ahead and show Miss Red in,” I told my friend, but her comment left me thinking. I had a feeling, but right now the important thing was the client; I’d analyze this feeling later.
“Right away, ma’am,” she said, giving me a military salute and leaving to greet our new client.
While my friend talked to her, I tried to get an idea of what she was like and looked for possible matches in our database, which is where we keep the files of each of the clients who come to see us. Not to brag, but I know each and every one of them. What I didn't expect was that her match wasn't here, and that this appointment would change everything.

After a while, Miss Red walks through the door, and I rush to greet her, as I always try to give my clients a very good first impression.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Red," I tell her while shaking her hand.
"The pleasure is mine," she tells me, and I can see that she's a little uncomfortable, so I try to make her feel as comfortable as possible.
"Why don't you have a seat, and tell me a little about yourself?" I ask her with a smile as I invite her to sit on the sofa in my office and I sit next to her. "Would you like a soda or juice?" I ask her as I get up and walk to the small refrigerator in my office, as I always have something to drink and eat in it, so that clients feel more at ease.
"A little orange juice, if you have some," she tells me, and I take it out and hand her a glass and serve cookies for both of us.
Seeing that she's still a little uncomfortable, I start making small talk until I manage to get her to relax, and she herself begins to give me the information I needed.
"Well, I have what I need now, it's been a most fruitful conversation," I let her know.
"Really?" she asks me, somewhat confused.
"Yes, the best way to find someone is to get to know them," I say.
"Well, it was a little different than I thought," she says with a charming smile.
"They usually tell me that," I tell her, and the fact is that most people believe when they arrive that I will only focus on their tastes regarding the opposite sex, but a partner is more than someone who attracts you, they are your friend, your partner, your lover, and more, that's why I try to get to know all my clients as best as possible.
"Well, it was a thousand times better than I thought, and now what should I do?" she asks me.
"Wait, I'll look for who I think might be the best option for you, and before arranging a date with that person, I'll call you to tell you all about your possible partner, and if you agree to continue, we'll proceed with the date," I explain.
"Well, in that case I will wait for your call," she tells me as she gets up and prepares to leave.
"I'll try to make it as soon as possible," I let her know, and we shake hands again to say goodbye, but this time when I touch her everything is different.
I'm in a forest, it's beautiful, and in the middle of the forest, I see a tall, dark, muscular man with black hair and brown eyes. "Aaron Luire," a voice whispers to me, and then the forest changes to the image of a moon, a beautiful moon that shines like I've never seen it before, a beautiful bright moon.
"Are you okay?" Miss Red asks me, snapping me out of my daydream.
"Yes, I'm fine," I tell her, to which she agrees and heads for the door to leave. "Before you go, could you leave your mask, it would help me a lot," I tell her. She, somewhat confused, takes it off and gives it to me, and when she closes the door, I rush to put it in a plastic bag. "What was that?" I wonder aloud.
I spend the whole day trying to get those images out of my head, but I can't, they come back to me again and again, they're driving me crazy.
I end the day in a terrible mood and the biggest headache I've ever had in my life. I get home hoping that a good night's sleep will help, but it doesn't. What's more, I can barely sleep, the images reappeared in my head all night long, keeping me awake.
"That's it," I yell into the void, and I get up to search my computer for plane tickets to a destination that I don't know exists.
Something inside me was telling me that I had to go to the country of Tommer, since that was where the person I was looking for was, the bad thing was that it was almost on the other side of the world and it wasn't going to be cheap for me, a trip to such a faraway place with less than a day's notice, but I know that if I didn't do it, things in my head would only get worse. So I buy the tickets, and knowing that I wouldn't be able to sleep, I start packing my suitcase.
"What, what?" my friend shouts at me when I arrive at work with my suitcase and let her know I'm leaving for a few days.
"I'm going to Tommer, to the city of Wood," I tell my friend again.
"It has to do with the vision you had when you touched the supermodel," my friend says to me, and the thing is, after what happened with Miss Red, I obviously ran to my friend to tell her, and how I brush it off.
"Yeah, it's driving me crazy," I tell her.
"Well, it must be serious, because you're a cheapskate, the cheapest of cheapskates, and you wouldn't spend that much money unless it was life or death," she tells me.
"And it is. My flight leaves in three hours, so I have to get to the airport as soon as possible, but I couldn't leave without telling you," I say.
"Do your parents know?" she asks.
"Yes, they know, I called them early," I reply.
"And what excuse did you give them?" she asks.
"None, I told them the truth," and the fact is that in my family, honesty is the most important thing.
"And your stepmother didn't want to have you committed?" my friend says with a smile. I know she's holding back laughter, and the fact is that my stepmother is a drama queen, and for her, a small cut is synonymous with bleeding out. I adore her, but sometimes she can be a little intense.
"No, she just recommended a psychiatrist for me to visit if things in Wood don't go well," I told her, which I appreciated, because if the trip was a failure, I was going to need it, since everything pointed to me going crazy.
"Well, in that case, good luck, my friend," she told me.
"Thanks."
I leave our offices and head to the airport. When I arrive, I did all the paperwork, and once I was done, all I had left to do was wait. The truth is, it was crazy, but something told me it was what I had to do, and so far, my intuition hadn't failed me, so why was it going to start now?
