Riley: Why do I have to go to camp again?

Mom: cause you need to learn more about the outdoors and stay away from technology. You spend way too much time on your phone.

Amara: Stop kicking my seat, Jacob!😤

Jacob: MAKE ME!

Dad: Guys, stop fighting.

Jacob: You're right she is a guy 👦 👏 😂

Amara reaches behind her and starts hitting Jacob.

Riley breaks them up

Riley: Stop, stop, stop ✋️ 🫷 🫸,

You guys need to learn how to be civil with each other!

Mom: We're here!😁 have fun, we love you ❤️ 💖 💗

Jacob: MOM! Don't (wipes kiss off face)

Camp counselor: we are going to separate you by your color (yells outs names)

They walk away

Chapter 2

Riley walks into her cabin and sits on her bed, and starts to unpack.

A girl walks up to her and says hi.

Raina: HI 👋 ☺️ I'm Raina. What's your name?

Ummmm...hi? I'm Riley.😐

Raina: Nice to meet you, so why are you here?

Riley: I've been forced against by will.

Raina: HaHAHAHAHA!!! Funny 😁 😂

Riley looks at Raina like she's crazy and gets back to unpacking.

Raina looks at Riley and just stands there.

Camp counselor: ok, Campers, we are going to the mess hall to talk about safety rules. Come on, let's goooo!

All campers and counselors walk to the mess hall and sit down at the tables

Camp counselor: ok everyone, we are going to talk about Camp Rules, number one, respect your cabin counselors,number two, no going off campus,stay with your group at all times.

Numbers three, no going out after 11pm. Numer....

(Camp counselor goes on about all of the camp rules and introduces all of the counselors to the campers.)

Raina: Do you have any siblings here with you? She whispers.

Riley whispers back yeah, two, Jacob over there and Amara over there as she points.

Raina: Your brother kinda cute 😍

Riley: he's so ugly. I don't know what you're talking about.

Camp counselor: ok, that's all of the rules you are to abiy by the rules, and we have no problems. You may talk👄.

Raina: Well, I think Jacob CUTEEEEE!!

The room goes silent 🤫 and everyone heard what Raina said.

Jacob blushes in shock. 😳

Riley says, "Stop looking. There's nothing to see here. Go on with your day!

Raina thanks Riley, and they become really good friends.

Chapter 3

The next day, Riley and Raina look at Amara at breakfast and see her eating alone 😔 🙁

The girls walk up to her and sit down with her.

Riley says, "Why are you sitting alone?

Amara: No one wants to talk to me, and everyone is giving me weird looks.

Riley: Well, look as she points, there's another girl over there sitting alone. Try talking to her.

Amara gets up with her tray and walks up to her, and sits down. They start to bound, and they start to realize that they have a lot in common.

Raina: we're like problem solvers.

Riley laughs 😃

Jacob walks by and hits Riley on the head and laughs

Riley: oww, I'm gonna kill you!!! They get in trouble, and they walk with the counselor, and their mom gets called

Camp counselor: Uhh, hello? Yes, this is Emma, the camp counselor calling to inform you of your children, Jacob and Riley...

Mom: Yes, what seems to be the problem?

Camp counselor: They were fighting during breakfast.

Mom: WHAT! Oh my God, I'm so sorry and embarrassed. If you need me to pick them up, I can..

Camp counselor: No, it's fine. Just everyone at the camp gets their parents called and have 4 strikes, so if they lose all four, they would have to leave campus.

Mom: ok, thanks for telling me, could you put them on the phone pls?

So the counselor gives the phone and says, " I will give you guys some privacy." And leaves the room. As their mom yells, their voices are starting to overlap.

Mom: WHY WERE YOU GUYS FIGHTING YA'LL NEED TO LEARN WHEN TO STOP ITS DAY AND NIGHT WITH YOU GUY

Riley:HE STARTED IT AND DOESN'T KNOW WHEN TO STOP!!

Jacob: NO, SHE DID I DID NOT DO ANYTHING YOUR SUCH A BABY AND A LITTLE LIER!!!

Mom:STOPPPPPPP

When she yelled stop every one went silent fast."""

Mom: If I hear about you two fighting again, you will never ever see the day of light ever again. Do I make myself clear?

Riley, Jacob: Yes, ma'am..

Chapter 4

They hang up the phone, and the counselor walks in stunned.

Camp counselor: You guys can uhh leave and meet up with your cabin.

When they leave, Fog starts to come in a lot, and they leave separate ways. As they do, they start to get scared and find their way back to the counselors office 🏢, but they can't, and Riley hears Jacob scream.

Jacob: ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Riley: Jacob! Where are you! She starts to see the mess hall and runs towards it.

As she runs in, she looks scared 😱 😨, all eyes go to her and starts shouting

Riley: Jacob, Jacob is missing! HELP!HELP!

She looks at her sister, and she points at Jacob and says that he is right there.

Riley runs to Jacob and gives a hug, then hits him while saying..

Riley: What's wrong with you!? I thought you were gone. You scared me so bad that it's not funny

Jacob has no expression and sits there like a zombie.

Later on, Raina asks her what happened back there?

Riley: Nothing . I heard him scream after leaving the office and got worried, and there was so much fog I couldn't see anything

Raina: Oh, that's weird cause it's super hot out.Riley starts to get suspicious? So see, meet up with her sister after everyone at the cantin, and sit down at a table

Riley: Did something seem off about Jacob?

Amara: kinda, but his always off.

Riley: No like weirder than usual?

Amara: No 👎

Riley: Later night, when everyone goes to sleep, let's go to the office and see what's up.

Amara: NO,NO,NO,NO,NO!

Riley: Why not.

Amara: because we would break the rules.

Riley: No, we won't, just trust me.

Amara: Fine, just fast!

They leave and go to their cabins, and when they do, everyone is asleep 😴 💤 and make it out.

Riley: (whispers) Amara?

Amara: I'm here.

Riley: shhhhhhhhh, follow me

They walk to the office, and Riley turns on the flashlight and starts looking through the drawers.

Amara: What are you doing? Um, I'm pretty sure there's nothing in the drawers if it happens outside.

Riley stops and walks out without saying a word.

Amara: Riley, Riley!

Riley: I'm going where Jacob went to see what happened, now stop talking!👄 🗣

Amara: Fine!

Riley looks and goes behind the office and sees the necklace with a shark tooth that Jacob always has on, but before she can pick it up, the camp counselor runs out and sees Riley and Amara

Camp counselor: You two are getting a phone call tomorrow, and now go back to your cabins NOW!

The next day, they got a phone call to their parents, and their dad answered

Camp counselor: Hi, this is Emma again..

Before she could finish, their dad cut her off, saying..

Dad: Wait, what, again?

Camp counselor goes on and says

Camp counselor: Yes, yesterday we spoke; or I spoke to a lady?...

Chapter 5

Dad: Oh my wife, do you need something?

Camp counselor: No, I just wanted to tell you and your kids, Amara and Riley, are in trouble for staying out after 11 pm.

Dad: My lord with bread, okay. Thanks for letting me know. Do you know why exactly?

I'll let them tell you.

She hands the phone to the girls, and Riley starts telling.

Riley: Jacob is not acting how he usually does, and we found his necklace on the ground behind the office last night, so we got worried.

Dad: That's not an excuse, you know to abiy by the rules, if you can at home you can at camp!

Amara: But it's not, it's true!

Dad: NO,NO,NO!

Amara: But..

Dad: But nothing, abiy by the rules. End of convo.

He hangs up, and the camp counselor starts to get suspicious and ask qusetion as Riley and Amara sit there and look mad about their Dad.

Camp counselor: So what's wrong with ya'll brother?

Amara starts talking, and Riley kicks her and starts talking

Amara: owww!

Riley: Nothing, it was just something to get out of trouble, our dad. But I went, it didn't work. We're leaving.

Camp counselor: Wait...

Riley and Amara walk out without looking back.

Once then, fog back, and Riley tells Amara to stay with her at all times. So they gab hands and walk, and start hearing a song.

Amara: Uhh, Riley? Do you hear a song?

Riley: yea, it's like...

Then they say together...Amara and Riley: the incy bincy spider!?

Song: the incy bincy spider crawled up the water spout, down came the and washed the spider up came the sun and dried up the rain the incy bincy spider crawled up the spout again...🎵

Then Amara starts to feel funny and faints on the ground. Amara starts rolling her eyes back and starts screaming

Riley: screaming 😱 💀 NONONONONONONONONONONOONONOONONONOONONONONONOONONOONOO

Riley: HELP!HELP!SOMEBODY!HELP

Riley starts to see the office through the fog, drags Amara in there, and checks her pulse, and she is bearily breathing.

But all Riley cared about was that she was still breathing.

Then Amara starts shaking really fast, and foam comes out and spiders 🕷 Riley screams

He doesn't know what to do, so she starts getting all the foam and spider off of her checks her pulse, and she isn't breathing, so she gives CPR and counts

Riley: one, two, three blow, blow, blow

She repeated that 2 more times, and Amara eyes opened. She went on her side and couched a lot.

Riley: Are you okay, Amara?!

Amara: Yeah, what happened?

Riley: TheRe wAs foG anD And spideRs and...

Amara asks her to slow down and breathe then to explain. But then she heard a key rattle in the door and ran to the closet

Riley: Amara, take it slow.

Amara: What if that's someone to help us?

Riley: No, we have to hide.

Amara stands up and opens the door, and it's the camp counselor

Camp counselor: WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING IN HERE?!!!!

Riley: Thank God it's you, we need help!

Camp counselor: What with what?! And why are there so many spiders, and why is it wet in here 🤔

Camp counselor: Amara! Are you okay?

Someone better explain.

Riley: There were spiders and foam coming out of Amara's mouth and people screaming, lots and lots of fog outside. Amara almost died and someone singing some kids song!

counselor: Okay, calm down, let me take you to your cabins.

Riley: No you don't understand..

counselor: I understand that I should get a new job she whispers

Riley: you know what forget it I'm done with this camp

Riley:

Riley start to help Amara up and carry her to her cabin and tells the camp counselor to take good care of her and on her way back she hears something

she stops and turns around

no one's there

it calls her name again and she shouts

Riley: who ever that is just stop!

then she hears "riley" one more time and as she turns around it's Jacob! 😱 Jacob looks like a zombie scared and cold.

Riley screams And as she does she wakes up in her cabin with Raina next to her with a worried look on her face

Raina: OMG! everyone she's awake!

Riley : What happened?

Raina: you and I were walking back from paint ball and you passed out

Riley : WHAT!( No way that actually happened)-in her head

Riley: (stands up quick) I'm gonna go to the restroom.

she stood up so quick that she didn't feel the headache until she went to the bathroom

Riley: ugh

in head (that felt so real I don't understand I could feel the sweat and the pain, fear rushing through me I could even feel my sister and her pain.

knocks on stall

raina:Riley, are you okay in there?you didn't fall or get stuck, pls tell me you didn't.

Riley: No I didn't raina I'm just uhh finishing up in here I'll be out in a second

Raina: Okay, well we're going to the mess hall in a sec so you better hurry.

Riley: Okay thanks

they go to the mess hall and Riley looking for her sister and clues to prove. they all rush in the mess hall and go to the line to eat. but Riley goes to her sister and her friend and...

Riley : can you come with me for a sec

Amara: sure hold on

Riley: No I can't hold on plss come on

Amara: Okay, Okay

Jacob spots them from a far and follows them outside

Riley: Amara do you remember anything that we did?

Amara: when?

you know going to the counselors office and looking for clues and stuff; the second time

Amara: No, I remember the first time but not the second time.

Riley: ugghhhh! do you remember when I carried you to your cabin

Amara: No sorry why are you asking me this?

Riley: this really happened and it was scary and crazy and I want people to stop taking me as a joke and really listen and notice! it's so frustrating (Riley's voice breaks and starts to cry.)

Jacob is behind a tree and heard the whole thing and he might know how can help

Riley tears came gushing out of her eyes.

Amara tried to comfort and calm her down

Amara:it's ok riley, it's going to be ok

riley: No! it's not ok. it happened, and you don't remember it was a lot to take in. I can't do it anymore

riley runs away

Jacob comes out of hiding to follow riley and talk to her

Jacob:riley!

riley: Jacob! Omg, are you ok?!

Jacob: I should be asking you the same thing!

What happened

Riley: A lot, I can't explain

Riley hugs Jacob tight

Riley: Jacob, anything happened to you these past few days? Anything bad?

Jacob thinks.

Jaocb:No, why

Jacob lies. He knows everything and remembers everything that happened to him

Riley:Jacob, don't lie to me. Pls

Jacob:I'm not, I swear

Jacob lies agian

riley: All of the weird that's been happening, not only you have been involved but everyone, and it's creepy weird, and I don't know what to do

Riley: And no matter how many people I tell, they think I'm crazy

 Jacob: ok, then why don't you just...

Jacob: i don't know what to say, ummmm

riley: Just forget about it. there's nothing to do about this problem

riley tears run down her face as she walks away

jacob: wa- sigh

jacob: Amara!

Amara: Jacob!

Jacob &Amara: Do u know what's happening to riley?!

Amara:jinx

jacob: No time for that. We need to help her.

Amara: But how? she knows things that most don't know.

jacob: And who knows about this?

Amara: ummm...ummm. uhhh

jacob:Amara, just say it! now!

Amara: Okay, okay

Amara lowers her voice and says, "Who

Amara: whispers to me

Jacob: What speak up

Amara: ME! I said to me.

jacob: ohhh

Amara thought she was going to get yelled at, but instead, this happened...

jaocb: Good. I thought it would be someone we couldn't trust. same here.

jacob: I know everything~ "jacob says in a scary like voice

Amara: Jacob! Stop that

Jacob laughs

Amara: This is no time for jokes. we need to help our sister and fast before something bad happens

jacob: You're right, you right.

jaocb: we need to think fast

*they sit in silence*

jaocb: You got something?

Amara: No, you?

jaocb: Nothing

Amara: Oh god, what are we going to do? This is harder than I thought

Jacob has an idea

jaocb: What if we retrace ruley steps, then stop whatever madness is going on?

Amara: Yeah, yeah, I like that. we need to be in rileys pov, though.

jacob: we can get riley with us?

Amara: Maybe, but what if she wants to be alone

jacob: But you know she is going to get mad at us for doing this alone. and this is her problem

Amara: I guess. we're still going to need a backup plain.

jacob: Then let's get to work.
