She opened her eyes, sat up and looked around the dark room vigilantly before turning her head to look at the table clock on her bed stand, 3:30am, time to move, she got off her bed, went to the bathroom, brush her teeth and took a cold shower, when she was done, she walked out of the bathroom stark ***** and stood in front of the dressing table, she picked two small towels from the drawer of the dressing table, wrapped one around her hair and cleaned her body with the other, she then proceeded to rubbing her body with lotion, she walked to the closet and picked out her cloth for the day and dressed up. She wore her underwear and donned a black leather pant, a black tank top, a black leather jacket and a black boot. Her dressing made her look like the leader of an underworld, she sat in front of the dressing table when she was done dressing, fixed a brown contact lens in her eyes and packed her blonde hair in a loose bun before putting on a black head warmer, she did a little makeup and pocketed a black handkerchief before going out of her room. She went to her study, walked to the library and fiddled with a book, a scan sensor appeared in the bookshelf corner, she put her palm on it and the sensor scanned her palm, “access granted, you may proceed master” a computerized voice said, and the shelf parted revealing a door, she pressed a red button on the wall beside the door and the door opened, she went inside and switched on the light showing a pretty empty room with black walls, a table and a chair and a little cabinet, she walked to the center of the room and said “uncover”, “yes master” the computerized voice said again, and the walls flipped revealing a cache of neatly arranged weapons, she picked an AI-AXSR sniper riffle, a Beretta 92 Italy pistol and two military daggers, she packed the guns in a bag and hid the two daggers inside her clothe. “done” she said, and the walls flipped back to normal, she walked out to her house garage and choose a black BMW-M100-RR bike and left the house. She rode for approximately 30 minutes before stopping at an abandoned story building, she looked around carefully and climbed up to the rooftop of the building and looked for the most appropriate spot to set her sniper, she surveyed the area from the top, added a silencer to her sniper and checked the time, 4:30am, right on time, she laid on her belly and looked into her sniper scope, “target locked” she said into the walkie-talkie on her shoulder while watching what was going on in a building 80 meters far from where she was,

“okay Moon. Carl, Rex, and Magician are rounding in on them, wait for the signal” a deep voice sounded from the walkie-talkie,

“copy that” she replied, she watched as three men silently and skillfully deal with all the hoodlums in the lower part of the building called “The Warehouse” one of those men positioned themselves there while the remaining two kept going up, they took out all the other hoodlums in their way until they got to the main room where the boss was, they entered carefully and everywhere was dark, they stood back to back and cautiously looked around, a click sound could be heard, and the room suddenly lit up, the room was filled with about 30 more hoodlums fully armed surrounding the two men, Pah! Pah!! Pah!! Pah!!!, A clapping sound could be heard and a short man in his mid-thirties stepped out from the direction of the clap and sat on a swivel chair with his legs crossed, that was the boss. “bravo, bravo, you are so good to have come this far but am afraid you won't be able to move forward or step out of this place alive” the boss said, one of the men looked at him fearlessly and smirked,

“release the girls immediately and cooperate with us so we can make things easy for you” he said, HA-HA-HA-HA-HA, the boss laughed,

“such valor, such stupidity, such confidence that makes you speak so boldly in this situation or is it because of the one backup you left downstairs who is surrounded already?” the boss jested and the other hoodlums in the room busted into a fit of laughter, the two men finally decided to surrender after realizing they were at a disadvantage, they both raised their hands up with their guns hanging downward

“good boys” the boss chuckled rubbing his hands on his pot-belly and just when the two men were about to drop their guns, one of the man gave the boss his middle finger and mouthed

“fuck you dude” before any of the hoodlums or the boss could react bullets came flying into the room killing the hoodlums one by one, this destabilized the hoodlums guard giving the two men an advantage, they started shooting the remaining hoodlums in the room, by the time the last hoodlum dropped, the boss already escaped, “such a weakling” one of man said and the other chuckled, they looked around and realize there was a door in the corner of the room, they proceeded to the door and tried to open it, but it was locked, one of the men took a bob pin from his hair and fiddled with the lock for a while before the door flung open, inside the room they saw the boss holding a pistol pointed at them with just two hoodlums holding two girls with them as a shield and pressing the nuzzle of their guns on his head, “move an inch, and they will be dead meat” the boss threatened, one of the men cocked his head, really?

“don’t even think of playing the invisible shooter prank, the shooter shoots, and it hits the girl”

the boss threatened again, the men looked like realization just hit them and the boss smiled evilly,

“drop your weapons” he commanded, and the men dropped their weapon,

“go on your knees” he commanded again and the men obeyed,

“good dogs” he smirked, rejoicing about his plan working out when the two hoodlums beside him groaned and drop dead, the smug look on the boss face washed away immediately and was replaced with panic, he pointed his pistol at the girls and was about to pull the trigger when a bullet hit his arm, the two men stood up and surrounded him while he got on his knees and plead for his life, “you’ve been a bad dog, you shall be punished” one of the men teased and handcuffed him before dragging him out of the building, while the other man checked around for the girls and when he found them, he called the police to come pick them up so they can send them back to their families.

Seeing that the mission was done, Moon packed her sniper

“mission accomplished” she said into the walkie-talkie and walked down the building and checked the time, 5:42am, she got on her bike and zoomed off, she stopped in front of an orphanage, put on a brow down coat, removed her head warmer and tied her hair in a ponytail before entering.

“Good morning Miss Lucinda” the lady at the reception greeted, “morning Martha” she greeted back, I see you are here for Zachary and Zoey, that was the name of the twins Lucinda fancied, everybody in the orphanage knew her since she was a regular visitor there, the first time she went there, she had worked there as Alice Perry as an undercover for a mission 2 years ago, that was when she met those twins, four years old, they had blue eyes and brown hair, those eyes give her a nostalgic feeling.  they were so cute and adorable, she felt they looked familiar and also felt a connection with them, so when she had finished the mission, she came to the orphanage as Lucinda Carell and requested to adopt those twins, and she had been coming to see them every morning and evening ever since then.

“Did I just hear Lucinda”, a voice screeched from the hallway,

”yea, better bet you did” Lucinda said smiling, LUCY!!! The lady shouted again running to hug her, just then two adorable kids also appear in the hallway Mommy!!, they screamed happily and ran to her too, Lucy walked to them with her hands wide open and dodged the lady’s hug going to hug the twins,

“how are you baby” she greeted with a wide smile,

“we are fine, mommy are you taking us home today,” they asked hopefully,

“no baby, not now but very soon” she quickly added when she saw their sad face,

“mommy will come for you when she’s done with work okay” she assured them,

“okay” they chorused, here mommy brought something for you, she said as she hands them a bag, yay, thanks mom, they said happily and kissed her cheeks,

”not fair Lucy, not fair” the lady Lucy dodged whined,

“what? You expect me to leave my adorable babies to hug you, no way Alex, no way” Lucy said dramatically,

“but I missed u Lucy it's been ages I saw you”, Alex whined again,

“you mean, you last saw me yesterday” Lucy corrected.

“Okay, okay fine, but you are being mean to your bestie” Alex argued,

“okay bestie come over for a hug” Lucy finally give in and Alex jumped into her arm,

“here take, for you” she said handing Alex a polythene bag,

“aww thanks bestie” Alex thanked and pecked Lucy's cheek,

“you don’t even know what is there yet and you are thanking me” Lucy teased

“I trust you” Alex said and Lucy giggled,

“I should be on my way to work now ill drop by later in the evening, my regards to Granny and mother Mary” Lucy announced and the twin and Alex immediately felt sad,

“stay with us just for today Lucy, mommy”, they all said at once,

“don’t give me that look I’ll be back before you know it” Lucy said,

“okay mommy we'll be waiting for you” the twins said and one of the orphanage nannies came to take them back inside,

“bye Alex” Lucy waved goodbye,

“bye” Alex waved back sadly and Lucy left.

Lucy arrived at her office building, parked her bike in the usual parking spot and walked inside the building with her usual cold aura, no one could come close to her as she entered the office, they only muttered a good morning and continued with their daily business, she walked to a closet in the office and pressed a button an elevator door opened, she entered and pressed another button and the elevator door closed taking her underground. The underground had another building, it looked like another world; a world of technology, she walked to the entrance and swiped her card at the door before going into the “Secret agent force[SAPPHIRE]” headquarters. She walked into an office and saluted!

“Agent moon reporting for duty”, her boss, Roberto James [Bert] turned to her,

“well done moon, well done, u’ve done a great job today as usual” Bert praised her,

“it's nothing Bert” she said casually,

"have you been able to get anything from him?” she asked,

"nope he's keeping a tight lip, he's in the dark room anyway, wanna pay him a visit?” Bert replied,

“with pleasure” moon replied with a grin and walked out of the office, she walked down the corridor and went to the basement, were some soldiers are waiting.

“bring him to the torture room” she ordered and the soldiers left and came back dragging a battered man with them, it was the boss from the warehouse they raided this morning, they dragged him to the torture room and fastened him to an electric chair. Lucy walked into the torture room filled with so many deadly torture weapons, the torture room looked so scary and it smelt like death, she toyed with the weapons, she had pulled her brown coat so she was wearing a black cloak over here black all through outfit now, with her terrifying aura making her look like the angel of death, the man trembled as he felt his heart skipped beats,

“well?” she asked as she played with a saber,

“I don’t know anything, I was just going to deliver those girls, I don’t know what they would be used for” the man blabbed in panic,

“I thought it was reported that you don’t talk” moon asked as she picked a drill and continued playing with it, she looked at him with an evil glint in her eyes,

“I’ll give you one last chance, now start talking” she said casually, by this time the man was already shaking like a leaf, but he still kept denying about knowing anything. Lucy picked the drill and walked closer to him slowly and menacingly like a predator hunting its prey, the man felt his throat dry, he didn’t sign for this,

“I’ll talk, I’ll talk” the man screamed,

“too late” Lucy said as she turned on the drill and drilled into his thigh, the man shrieked, and his face contorted with pain, she moved the drill down his thigh, tearing his thigh and making blood splash on her face, she trailed the drill on the man's wound and drilled into his wound,

“I’ll talk, I’ll talk, please” the man cried and Lucy slapped him

“don’t talk until I ask you to” she growled and continued with drilling his other legs, repeating what she had done to the first leg.

“okay, go on, I am listening” she said when she was done with his legs,

“those girls that were hold hostage, they will be taken and used as experiment” the man answered,

“what experiment?” Lucy asked casually,

“It's part of the operation red experiment held by the ‘Red Wolves’” he answered again,

“so, why do they only use girls” Lucy asked,

“well, they don’t use only girls, it's just that girls are easy to get here”,

“I see, so they are also other people in other places kidnapping other people, so where do you take them” she inquired further,

“I was supposed to keep them safe in the warehouse, then someone would come to pick them”,

“who?”, “I don’t know, A man used to contact me and give me instructions, he never told me his name or show up in person, he only contacts me with different burner sims anytime he has a mission for me”.

“how does he pay you?”,

“he sends someone to deliver the money”.

“who?” “different people or more like anybody”,

“I see, release fake news about a secret prosecution for him tomorrow”. The man suddenly chuckled,

“If you are thinking of tricking them with me, it won't work, I am of a very low rank, the red wolves won't come for me, besides they are cameras all over the building, the moment your troops entered, they already…………….” before he could finish his sentence, two shuriken came flying towards him pinning his ears to the wall, the man screamed in pain.

“who says you won't be prosecuted, I can't promise I’ll miss next time, don’t talk until I ask you to, I hate noise, take him to the C-cell and get him a doctor” she ordered the armed men by the door “and tell him not to use a tranquilizer during the operation” she added, the man begged frantically with fright, but she didn’t give a hoot and returned to her office,

“yes ma'am” they answered and dragged the man away. Moon threw her bloody cloak in a bin and cleaned her body before entering the office again.

“anything?” Bert asked immediately she entered,

“nothing much, he’s a low ranked, he doesn’t know anything about the operation but………….. He can be used as a bait” Moon answered him. Rex, Morris, Hawkeye, Magician and Prince were already in the office,

“any news Or clues?” Bert asked them,

“no, we need to carry out more investigation” Rex said,

“we couldn’t even find a damn lead this time” Morris added. Just then three people came in, two men and a woman, everybody stood up to salute them, they were the sapphire force top executives. Moss, Liga and Viper respectively, “how far about the case?” Viper asked,

“no clue yet” Bert answered,

“then try harder” moss said with a frown,

“yes sir” Bert saluted and the executives left. He heaved a sigh of relief,

“that went easier than I can ever imagine” he muttered.

“as we all know, this case is a deadly one, so we need to think and act fast. Agent moon, we are counting on you, and we shall solve this case as always” BANZAI!!!.
