In the beginning, there was only - a Big Planet. Then came a massive explosion which tore it apart into multiple planets and that became - our Universe...

Wait, before you get any ideas, nope, this is not The Big Bang Bang or The Creation. I was watching Arrowverse Crisis on Infinite Earths and something came to me. Is there really parallel earths or multiverse? Well, that's what the show called it. Is it really possible that such thing is real? If it is, then living in a virtual reality would be possible? I would like that. Would you?

This story is about me and how I conquer the virtual world.

- In some random place in my neighborhood -

I was running wounded and out of breath, I heard running footsteps behind me and it was catching up to me fast. As I ran, I tripped down to the ground and couldn't stand. And when I looked behind, *Baam one of the guys chasing me grabbed my hair and punched my face.

'I can't believed they followed me here.' I thought to myself.

"Hey Sim, Long time no see.", said the first guy who caught up to me. He looked ferocious with a dragon tattoo on his face (Right Cheek). "Oh wait, we met a while ago. We beat the crap out of you." "Where's the money?", he exclaimed. Then the other guy caught up to us and said while catching up his breath, "You're a runner kiddo". He was huge and his face looked like an evil Japanese Yakuza but very Filipino looking. And he came closer to me "It's my turn. Let me beat him.", he said as he landed a punch in my face. Then I remembered.

It started when I was playing on my PC weeks ago. By the way, my name is Sim Cardilla. Yeah, I know, my name is kinda weird. You should ask my parents about that - Well, you can't, they died last year. Now, I lived alone in a very cheap apartment, working as a call center agent, studying at a University taking Computer Programming. It's kinda hard studying while working. Anyways, we were playing Starcraft with my classmates.

"Oh, come on, RJ. Stop farming." Jaime yelled through the speaker.

(Farming - a term used by gamers to a gaming tactic where a player, performs repetitive actions to gain experience, points or some form of in-game currency.)

"Let's end this. Come on." I said in excitement.

'All Enemy heroes has been killed.' - Game system -

"Alright, let's attack their base. Push!!!" Jaime yelled in excitement.

'Enemy base has been destroyed. Victory!' - Game system

'You have reached a new rank -'FORMID' - Game system*

"Guys, I finally reached FORMID" I shouted.

"Woah, you reached FORMID already. In just 1 week of playing? How did you do that? We just played a couple of games." Jaime yelled confusely.

"What tricks did you do? No one has reached that rank yet. That is the highest rank in Starcraft. It's imposible to reached that, you know." RJ shouted as he is amaze.

"I just received an email from Suntoon." I said.

"The developer emailed you!? Open it!! What does it say!? " RJ and Jaime both yelled.

'Congratulations on beating the Impossible! You are now invited to be a part of Project Utopia! Click Me to continue.'

"Project Utopia? What is that?" I asked.

"No Idea. Just click it. It's not a computer virus. There's no harm." Jaime said

As I clicked the link, there was a very bright light through the screen. I thought that I will go blind. As I open my eyes, I can't believe it. I was traported to a different world...

As Sim opened the invitation, a bright light shine as if it were to blind him. As the light fades, Sim open his eyes. He is amaze and confuse of what he sees. A world where he is not familiar. A giant castle in front of him. It is like a kingdom in the movies and fairy tales. As Sim took a step to see a better view of the kingdom, the castle was gone like a glitch on a computer. Sim came back to his apartment confused of what was happening.

"What was that?" He asked himself.

"What was 'what'?", Sim heard from his headphones. It was Jaime and RJ.

"Did you see that?", Sim asked Jaime and RJ.

"See what!?", Jaime and RJ both replied.

"There was a light, a kingdom, a castle. You didn't see that?", Sim answered.

"How could we saw it if we're not there with, you idiot? A Castle? Kingdom? Are you daydreaming?", Jaime said to Sim.

"What are you watching lately? We almost lost the game, you know.", RJ responded.

"What!?, oh yeah! There was a letter. An email sent by Suntoon for achieving the highest rank!" Sim exclaimed.

"Achieving the highest rank, you say? You're still a bottom rank, you know. Jaime is right. You must be dreaming." RJ said to Sim.

"You should focus on playing sometimes, you know. That why we always lost the game, you idiot. We just barely won in the last game. You should take a rest. Maybe because you don't get enough sleep. That's why you're seeing things." Jaime advised.

"Maybe you're both right. I should sleep. So, let's play later." Sim said as he ended the chat ended the chat. Sim was so confused of what happened. "Am I just seeing things?", Sim thought. Sim was preparing his bed, as he saw a shadow of someone with long hair at the window. As the lightning striked, the sound of the thunder followed. Sim looked at the window again and the shadow was gone. He opened the window and looked out but no one was there. It started raining. Sim went back to his room. "I am loosing it! It's final! I'm going crazy!" Sim said to himself. "Let's get to sleep! And I wil be alright tomorrow." Sim went to bed and gone to a deep sleep.

There was a woman. She was covered in blood inside a car. The driver was also covered in blood and stopped breathing. He was already dead. The woman spoke, "Fi....nd th.....e ke...y to a...ntis". She said to a teenage kid who is beside her. The woman died saying those words. This kid has blood on his head. It was Sim. Sim was crying, shouting for help. "anyone help. No, mom, don't die. Stay with me. Noooooo! Arrrggghh..."

A dream -

Sim woke up in sweat. It was a dream, more like a nightmare.

What is this dream? What secrets do Sim have in the past? Is it real or just another hallucinations?
