This is a story about heartbreaks, betrayal and love.
What will happen when Adrianna gets betrayed by the man whom she loves the most. The man whom she supported in his darkest time.
Whenever he needed comfort, she was there.
This job interview was a chance at a fresh new start, a way to leave painful memories of my past. Little did I know that fate had a cruel sense of humor in store for me.
I pushed open the door, and my eyes immediately fell on a familiar figure. The man who shattered my world and left me heartbroken. The man who chose another woman over me. My ex-husband, who's the CEO of this company.
The wounds had healed, but the scars remained, a constant reminder of the pain I had endured. I never expected to see him again.
Was this some twisted joke? Or was it a test, a way for the universe to gauge my strength?

She walks to the floor directed by the receptionist and reaches the top floor.
She stands in front of the door before taking permission to go in.

A voice from inside the room directs her to come inside.

She pushes open the door before walking in.

The other man who was facing the window looking outside finally turned towards her.
At the same time her gaze lands on him too.
And they immediately recognize each other.
