,(everyone clapping)Jane gave a speech as the valedictorian of the 2022 graduating class.
Jane was a really beautiful girl ,she was tall,slender waist,dark haired and had hazel eyes,every guy wanted her but she wasn’t interested.

She fell on the floor,no emotions on her face ,hearing what her mum said ,she couldn’t understand what she had heard,she just stayed there emotionless.

running to meet them to find out what had happened,because they had been creating a scene there,when she got to them ,she saw jane’s expression and Mrs Marvin’s crying heavily worried she asked what happened? But no one answered ,what happened janey? Answer me ,now shaking Jane

m-m my Dad is dead Aria ,he’s gone.

Grabbing the both of them not wanting to breakdown there too ,she called a cab and they headed home,
When they got home,they sat down looking soulless and broken

Shaking and weeping she said,he died in an accident on his way to pick m-m me up, a truck hit him off the road and into the river under the bridge .

meanwhile she just stared blankly not uttering a word , she climbed upstairs to her room and locked the door .
Few days later .The family people started trooping in ,to plan his funeral ,the date and time was picked and Jane was to give a eulogy for her dad as she was the only child, All preparation were being made towards the day of the funeral.
Mrs Marvin got weaker ,her health had deteriorated due to the pain,suffering ,not eating well and not taking care of her self.aria was always with them especially janey ,since she heard the news she hadn’t shade a single tear and she was overworking herself with the preparations and anything she could find.
The funeral day was now before them
Everyone dressed in black ,people crying!
They entered the chapel,sat in front row ,Jane was called up to give her eulogy,she delivered it surprisingly smoothly and it was brief ,she got down .
The priest spoke a bit and they were off to the cemetery,they gathered round ,the priest spoke his final words and the coffin was lowered down,Jane poured the first sand ,her mum followed then the rest ,everyone departed going back to the house ,it had started raining now Jane, her mum and aria remained there
When they had covered it to the brim ,they left And went back to the house.
People were offering their condolences to them ,offering them flowers and envelopes.
All of a sudden the door was violently opened and everyone turned.
They were 4 they wore all black suits ,with various cuts and bruises that was very bright for one to see

they screamed ,which one of you is Jane Marvin?
when no one answered,one of them hit a table and a vase broke making people extra scared!!

the leader spoke I won’t ask again ,which one of you is Jane marvin?

I am the one ,don’t you have courtesy ,you came here disturbing a funeral,do you have no conscience? She said feeling bold

the leader replied all that isn’t our business, we came here for a reason

hearing this ,she became quiet and couldn’t utter a word.

seeing as Jane was shaking ,she stepped in saying please give her more time ,she didn’t know about it and as you can see she isn’t in her right frame of mind now ,please just give her more time. Please

Sighing after ugh pleading,the leader said I give you till the end of this month to come up with the money,don’t disappoint me !!

They left .everyone finally let out a big sigh that they had been holding,they were now feeling extreme pity for Jane and her mum ,shaking their heads .
With the shock and everything Mrs Marvin collapsed they rushed her to the hospital.

Seeing the doctor coming out ,she and aria rushed to him. She asked doctor please how is my mum?
Doctor
Well Miss Marvin your mum has been stabilized now, she had a severe heart attack and she would need to be in the hospital for sometime so that we can watch her , she will be fine don’t worry miss. meanwhile you can go and sort out the bill.
Jane Marvin
Okay doctor thank you very much
Mrs Marvin was still unconscious Jane went home ,aria had cleared everyone before she came.

She reached and entered the house, sat down on the floor,tears rolling down unstoppably, how everything had changed in a twinkle of an eye,she said to aria

What am I going to do now,this life didn’t even give me a heads up , now I have a sick mother, a hospital bill that is outrageous ,a dead father and a debt on my neck ,how on earth am I going to handle all that alone?

Jane got up ,going to her room ,aria wanted to follow but Jane stopped her.

forcing up a slight smile and went upstairs,she locked the door,sat down on her table
She looked at her self in the mirror for close to 10mins,depression had swallowed her whole she was no longer thinking straight and finally she brought out a bottle of medicine,smiled and swallowed them all.
