“Finally free” Xenna McDummery sighed in relief as she placed her bags down in her new apartment.

It being her first time away from home, her parents and she herself were a bit nervous

Her dad for example, had called her five times since she had landed and Fod was she tired

But here she was finally free from home and in a new state, not forgetting in her own apartment

She couldn’t express how happy she was. She was all smiles since she first entered

“Ok, now to look around at my new abode for the next three years or more of all goes well”

On looking around, Xenna found that the house was just like the one she saw in the net

As she was by passing the sink though, she spots a pair of men’s boxers in the sink, she plays it cool though thinking it might have been left behind by the clean up crew or the painters.

“Ahhhh,”

‘What’s that’ she thinks to herself

‘Oh shit’

A deeper voice than the first. Was that a **** she heard

Had someone broken into her apartment?

‘Oh, this is not good!!!’she thought while grabbing a scrubbing brush from nearby and her can of pepper sparky she always carried around

Stealthily she walked to the furthest room in th e building and opened the door with a creek sound

“Who the hell are you??” The guys on top of the girl asked while panickingly dressing up

He rushed towards her and she aimed her can of pepper spray right at his eyes and sprayed a generous amount in his eyes

“What the hell” the man bellowed while bending over because of the pain in his eyes

The lady covered herself with the bedsheet and ran to the guy while screaming at Xenna, “what you do that for b**ch?”

Ina state of panic? Xenna aimed her pepper spray into the girls face also and sprayed also

“You …… Ahhhh…. You psy….. psycho……”the girl shouted in pain and anger.

Xenna closed the door and locked it from outside and got her phone and dialed the police

“This is the police, Hau may we…..”

“Hello this is Xenna from Hilliard street apartment room15, I just entered my house and found two strangers in my house please hurry and come help me “

“We are in our way miss, please stay calm,”

With that the call was ended and Xenna ran to the living room

“Hey crazy woman, let me out or I swear to God …….. “ the man kept shouting from the room while banging insistently on the door

Xenna was clutching her phone tightly considering calling the police again when she heard a knock at the front door

“Hello, this is the police please open the door,”

Xenna rushed straight up and opened the door with tears of relief flowing fro her eyes!

“Ohhhhh, thank God you have arrived, follow me, the intruders are in the last room at the end of the hall,” Xenna explained

The police rushed in and opened the door grabbed the two people and then headed straight to the living room while restraining the two culprits

“ Hey, w hat the hello is wrong with you people?” The man asked

“You guys are arresting the wrong person here, you should be arresting that lady!! She Is the real intruder here” he continued

I even have a lease to prove that this appartement is mine and leased to me

“What, yours must be a fake because I too have a lease to prove that this is my apartment!” Xenna said this while pulling out the lease from her bag.

“Let go of me and let me get mine as evidence, hers must be the fake,!” The man said

The officer after getting a go ahead from his superior let go of the man’s hands and he went into the room they had got them from and came out with a lease similar to the one Xenna had pulled out

Both looked authentic and had stumps from the leading company the only difference was the names and signatures of the holders.

The officer in reading the man’s name was shocked!!

“Your the famous Lochlan Blake???”

The guy with a smug look on his face answered with a smirk, “yeah”

The officer smiled and said, “my daughter is a huge fun of yours, really sorry for the inconvenience we have caused you

i suggest you call the company to come over and sort this issue out wouldn’t you think so mr Blake, !!”

Xenna informed the police that she had already done that and that the company was gonna send someone over

The police looked at the three and decided they could leave the place

The officer then asked if he could get his autograph for his daughter which he agreed to, and they left

Now there was a ackward silence that befell the room after the officers going

Lochlan spoke up to the girl he was with , “you can leave now “

‘How rude he is,’ Xenna thought

Lochlan’s POV

“Hey gorgeous,” I say to the beauty next to me

She is roughly five feet tall and that’s quite tall, with brunette hair and quite the body

Not too big and not too small with curves in all the right places. And man, were my hands itching to touch them

She looks around as if wondering whom am talking to! Don’t she know she is the one? Or does she think am talking to the blond bimbo I brought back from the bar last night, can’t even remember her name

“I said, hey gorgeous,” I repeat myself a bit louder and more directly to her than before.

“Excuse me, are you talking to me,” she asks

“Duhhhhh, who else?” I answer while dramatically waving my hands around to prove that we were in the house alone and I most definitely meant her.

“Hello, jerk,” she answers in a sassy tone

I like sassy, I just found that out now though, maybe it’s cause it’s coming from her.

Rewind back a bit, did she just call me a jerk!!!! She is clearly playing dumb, who in their right senses doesn’t know me in this country!

“You’re just playing hard to get right?” I ask her with a smirk on my face.

“Excuse me, but am i supposed to know you??” She questions with a clearly puzzled and confused look on her face.

Wait!!! So she really didn’t know me!!!! What the….. that hurts my pride abit though I won’t admit it to her

And I kind of feel relieved, it means she is being her true self around me! It’s a very refreshing feeling I must say.

Ok, I stretch out my hands to her

“Hello I am Lochlan Blake, from this country and am the lead singer in the Blate group,” I sincerely smile this time

“So your the new guy my brother is super obsessed with??” She asks

And then continued in her soft voice, “my brother is a huge fan, listens to your music all the time”

Sorry,” she apologizes, greets me and says,” hi, am Xenna McDummery from this country, am gonna be a student in the arts department in Rains college! Nice meeting you though we meet in a bad note, also sorry for spraying earlier on it was meant to be for defense!”

It’s all cool, so are we cool? “ I ask! Really hoping we are cool cause I am starting to like her! And so with fingers crossed I ask, “can we be friends?”

Oh no, don’t even think about it,” she answers in that sassy tone that am growing to like

,she goes on to say” just coz I gave you my name and what am gonna study does not mean anything at all, just so you know I hate dudes who are rude to ladies so I hate your guts!”

What!!, am an artist girls are dying to be beside and she just said no to an offer of friendship I brought up? What the hello is wrong with this lady!!

“Just because you are a lead singer in a world known group doesn’t mean you are to be liked by everyone!” She says as though she can read my mind!

This is most definitely a first for me since I became an artist! No girl has ever rejected me so plainly, most of them intact all of them seem to be throwing themselves at me and man is it annoying.

This being a first plain rejection, I most definitely as starting to like this girl, wait cross that out! I definitely liked this girl!!

And that’s a lot coming from me, an pretty self centered if I can say so myself!!

She sashays away, to carry her luggage from beside the door wats am guessing!

Just as she bends to get her luggage where she has dropped them, we hear a knock on the door.

Knock knock, she jumps in fright, her face turning pale in the process,

“Relax, it’s just a knock on the front door,” I tell her in what I assume as my best soothing voice!

I think it comes out funny or annoying coz she smiles then puts on an angry face,

“I knew that,” she answers!

I raise my hands up and head to the door to pop pen why remarking, “then why’d you jump in fright if that’s the case, it’s like you’d seen a ghost,”

I open the door to reveal a bald short man with a protruding belly!!

Sorta reminds me of those men in movies who like swindling people of their stuff to make cheap money!

“Hello am Mr Missle,” and that alone earns a snicker from me. And her downs seem fazed one bit, seems he is quite used to that reaction.

Xenna comes up, with a smile and welcomes him in and stays explaining our predicament after learning he is from the agency that got us the house.
