A girl looking at a picture of her most beloved man glued on her car dashboard. Her head bobbing up and down listening to his song while driving.

The car was full of Xiao Zhan's merchandise. A framed picture of him on the right side of the front mirror, his printed face cushion, seats cover with his face printed on it.

From that view, we could guess that she is a fangirl. A major one. She is on her way back after attending her favourite idol concert event.

Looking around the surrounding, she way back to her house were a bit secluded. It was not in the forest but people rarely use the road. A feeling of dread was in the air. Try to pay no heed, she speed up the car.

"What is this eerie feeling?" The girl have never stay outside until late at night.

Absentmindedly taking note, next time she would ask someone to accompany her.

She drives past the small bridge so fast that she didn't notice a silhouette of a wild deer crossing across the road.

It happened so fast that she don't have time to think and her hands just reflexes on its own. Her hands turn the car steering 180 degrees to avoid hitting the animal.

The car crash the bridge side so hard that it bend and break into half. However, the car did not crossed over the river instead it stuck at the end of the tip. It gave away a huge impact that the girl's head crash onto the steering.

She could feel bruise will appear on her body. Blood streaming down from the forehead.

But that wasn't what she was worry about. Looking in front, she clear her blur vision and saw the last thing she wanted to see.

The picture was terrifying. Hee heart dropped when she realised herself and the car position.

One small mistake her and her car will fell straight into the river. Her hand clutched onto the steering until it turn pale.

Basically, the river was down there and behind her is the road. Terror - struck when she look at the river down there.

It was all about balance. If someone who is strong enough to pull the car from behind, she might be able to live.

She couldn't move at all. One move, she fell, her feet stay on the break to car from moving forward.

Wanting to call out for help but her lips had turned blue and shaking. She look at her car rear - views mirror, no car or human can be seen.

"Dad.." One ward she could utter out was calling her dad. Her eyes welled up with tears.

She is not someone who loves to cry. Today she did not shed tears because she is afraid of death.

But she is worried that her dad is gonna be alone. Her dad is not only a father but a mother, and a friend towards her. He has raised her alone after her mother passed away.

"Ahhh!!!" She screamed so loud that her voice cracked. The car suddenly moves to the front. The rock couldn't held it any longer.

All of a sudden, her phone on the dashboard started ringing. "My Great Master" was stated on the phone.

Gaining the last courage she had, she snached her phone on the dashboard and take the call.

"D - dad! Please forgive me for being the most unfilial daughter. And thank you for raising me into a very pretty girl." She shutter and laugh a bit while saying it.

"Young lady! Stop talking nonsense and get home right now!" Her dad nagged knowing that his daughter is out there alone.

" Dad please find a better woman and get marry as soon as possible. Don't be alone." Her hand shakes to bad while holding the phone to her ears. She wanted to focus on her dad's voice only.

"What are you talking about? I will tear all your Xiao Zhan's poster if you didn't get home now young lady." Her dad warn her.

He knew something is wrong but he try to think positively. The way her voice shaking, he knew things wasn't good.

"Dad... You know right? I love you so much. Even in the next life, I will still be your daughter." She clenched her teeth to stop herself from sobbing.

"Where are you? I will get you now!" Her dad panicking.

"Dad. Beep beep beep.." She was about to talk to her dad more but the call was suddenly cut off. She look at her phone and there was no line.

" God why are you doing this to me? Why?!!" She bawl with her head lean on the steering. Mad is an understatement.

"Xiao Zhan I am sorry I couldn't meet you again. Even in afterlife I will always support you." She held the picture with her bloody hand.

"I still haven't attend Lee Min Ho's fan meeting, I want to fall in love too and I STILL GOT MY LONG ******* *** BUCKETLIST TO ACHIEVE! **** YOU FOR SCREWING MY LIFE!" A sudden of thunder strike the sky surprised her.

She had never curse before because of her dad being conservative. But now she feel so satisfied swearing in the middle of dying.

Suddenly the look in her eyes change. She is not weak. And she is not afraid of death. She wiped off the tears that stay inside her eyes. Determination were visible in her eyes.

"My friend did not call me as “ The Craziest ” for nothing. Just watch me!" She remarks with anger towards the sky. Without any hesitation, she lift her feet out of the break.

The car tilted slowly from the bridge and fell of the bridge then straightly plunged into the river. The weight of the car force is sunk deeper. Deep down. She could see all the undersea views.

She pull off the seatbelt. Even though she don't know how to swim but she won't give up.

Trying to open the door but it won't budge. She grab a hardwhere and hit the window until it broke. Water starting to flow in a rapid pace.

Trying to swim out of the car slowly with water enter her lung make it very difficult. Totally useless. It was beyond her ability. Her injuries don't make it easier.

Soon black dots started to take over. She knew that she is going to die. No one is going to save her. Her dad won't be able to find her.

"Fudge! Why my fate like this!" She tried to open her mouth. As a result, water rush into her. Block her oxygen. She struggles to stay conscious.

" Kill me if you have never love me even for once." A voice suddenly rang clearly through her ear. It was a soothing husky voice. It belongs to an unknown man.

'Yup I really need to kill someone right now. This is the sign I'm dying. I'm hearing some freaking nonsense.' She thought angrily.

But as far as she remember, she has never date anyone because she came from a very conservative family.

'Even in my last breath you still play with me. Just you wait until I meet you later.' Her paralysed body sunk deep in the river.

In a countryside which is far from the Loyang capital, a small house with candles lit around it can be seen.

Involuntarily, it lightens up a tiny part of the forest. However, the residence was hidden from others. On the inside, lived a young lady with only one maid servant.

Unfortunately, the young lady lay freeze on the antic bed like a lifeless body. That thin and delicate body hasn't moved for three days.

She is the Third Miss Xu family. Her name is Xu Ling Ai. She has been casted away by her family.

Her father is Minister Xu Bei Hong. Since her mother passed away, the Second Madam Gu has been in charged as his rightful wife.

She look at herself wearing a loose white long sleeves top and pants.

An elder woman wearing a green clothing barged into the chamber with tears in her eyes. She rushed towards Xu Ling Ai.

"Miss you finally gained your consciousness! I am very worried." She look at middle aged woman in front of her who cried her eyes out.

"Stay right there! Don't come near me. Did you kidnapped me? But that's impossible! I died in the river.." She ramble. It didn't make any sense to her.

"What is this familiar but unrealistic picture? This room literally look the same like the wuxia's drama I watch on television! HOLY CHICKEN NUGGET! I TIME TRAVELED TO ANCIENT ERA?!!" Xu Ling Ai dramatically roll her eyes and fainted again.

"Miss! Miss! Wake up don't leave this old woman alone! I will die too." Hearing the elder's words make her rose up drastically and pat off her clothes like nothing happen.

She is actually pretending. She thought if she faint, she will woke up in hell. Obviously it did not work out. Failed miserably.

"I slipped. No worries." Xu Ling Ai started to walked back and forth trying to connect all the dots.

Her eyes fell on the antique mirror and went near it. In the modern world, she is a twenty one year old girl with countless of assignments and problems. But here, the version of herself seem so soft.

'The skincares in ancient times is not that bad.'

The maid-servant look at her miss oddly. Her behaviour is so weird. She seems like a different person. Her speech were very strange.

"What do I call you?" Xu Ling Ai started. It would be very rude if she called the someone who is older than you with "hey".

"You forgot about me miss? I am Jiang Mama." Xu Ling Ai nodded her head up and down as a sign she understood.

"It's nice to meet you." She then grab Jiang Mama's hand and shake it. But Jiang Mama suddenly flinch.

'Did god give me a second chance to live? Or is this a punishment because I curse the god?' Her eyes went wide when she remembered the last moment she curse.

"Anyway Jiang Mama, can you please speak in a normal way? I didn't learned on how to use ancient accents so it was a bit hard to understand you." She said seriously with frown.

But Jiang Mama only look at Xu Ling Ai with confusion clouded her expression. A second later, realizations dawn on her that she laughed like someone who loose their mind.

"Pardon me. It's just that I couldn't accept this whole circumstances. Jiang Mama I need you to explain to me everything." She instructed Jiang Mama to tell everything that she want to know.

Jiang Mama then begin to tell everything without leaving anything out. She try to swallow all the story and detail of the lady life.

'So I am Xu Ling Ai in this lifetime? Since we lived in the forest, it will be easier for me to stay away from everyone right?'She thought.

Still feeling very unsatisfactory by the god's treatment to her, Xu Ling Ai sprint out of the room. She finally notice that they literally live in a freaking forest.

"You son of a duck how could you do this to me!" While pointing up at the blue sky. All of a sudden, a thunder strike through the clouds.

"I didn't ask you to send me to hundreds years back! Yaishhhh!!!!" Only the sound of bird can be heard.

'I gotta use this identity for awhile!' She determinedly thought.

"Miss.. you really forgot everything is it?" Jiang Mama broke the silence with sullen mood.

"Jiang Mama I think I bump my head onto a rock when I fell into the river. The memories will eventually come around." She don't know how to explain to Jiang Mama so she lied.

"By the way, which dynasty is currently ruling now?" She forgot to ask the most important question.

"It is Han dynasty and the current emperor is Emperor Wu."

"Really?"

There are a lot of popular dynasties but why did she got into the one she didn't focus on. Thus, she hate history subject.

"Teacher Lee I suddenly missed you." She could only exhale a heavy breath.

When she is in high school, she always sleep when it was the historical subject. She always got detention because of it. Surprisingly, she always passed the exam.

She do remember some part of the dynasty. But it was too little. Fortunately, she lived in the forest or else how is she going to stay alive?

"Anyway, Jiang Mama can you tell me where did I drown?" Xu Ling Ai need to find her way back to hell as soon as possible so the real body owner can return to her body.

Sitting in the corner of her chamber, she is currently embroidering silks.

Frown were clearly visible on her face. While continuing embroidering, she finally lose her cool.

"This is so tiring pretending to be a noblewoman! I don't need second chance, I would rather go back to hell!" She started to whine.

"HOLY MOTHER COW! Why is this hair so long?" Her real behaviour finally came out. She still hasn't get used to the long hair. She lean her head on the table.

She is very grateful that all of the real Xu Ling Ai's talent stuck in the body except the memories.

That was the mere reason she knew how to embroidering and heal illness. It was actually from the real Xu Ling Ai's skill. Whenever she hold things that the real Xu Ling Ai's skills moves naturally.

But when she tried to find any memories about the real Xu Ling Ai, there was none. Just like the body was meant for her.

After blowing off all the candles, Xu Ling Ai tiptoeing going out.

"Jiang Mama I will return the real Xu Ling Ai don't worry. Also thank you for taking care of me." She whispered even though no one could hear her.

Even though learning all over about ancient's customs and rules were totally bothersome, she still feel greatful for Jiang Mama efforts.

Bringing a torch with her, she walked slowly towards the forest. The air chilled that she got goosebumps. She only wore ancient's sleep attire. She don't even bother to change her clothes.

She finally arrived at the river that Jiang Mama described. Xu Ling Ai look at every corner of the river. How did she fell down?

"But who cares? As long as I can go back to hell then it is settled!" She place her feet at the tip of a rock. All of a sudden she pull her leg back and halted her action for about a minute.

"Breath in, breath out. Right, I'm ready!" After the last time drowning because of the accident, she had a water trauma.

Pressing her nose tightly, she jump into the river. Her petite body finally plunged slowly into the water.

Opening her eyes, she could see some fish swimming under the moonlight. Putting her hand together, she wishes that this time wouldn't be as hurtful as last time.

Her oxygen started to went away. Water flow in her mouth. Her heart told her to get out of there but she stubbornly stay in the water.

Nose feeling so pricks by the water forced. She started to lose her consciousness. Her only thoughts was going back to hell. She don't want to trouble herself learning ancient rules and customs.

Suddenly her waist were grabbed by a firm arm. She was half conscious. A man. But he is wearing a mask. She wanted to push him away. But she got no strength at all.

He swim upwards using his skill. It can be proves that he got a great skill in swimming due to him holding her with his left hand while his right arm swims.

They finally get out of the river. Xu Ling Ai coughed so hard trying to get the water out of her lung. It was very painful.

"Cough! Cough! W-why did you save me?" She hardly catch her breath while saying it.

But the man turn around wanting to leave. Xu Ling Ai finally catch the sight of blood on her white robes. It wasn't hers.

"Blood." It was not a question, more like a statement. Getting up slowly, she tried to catch his pace.

Before she could get near him, he already got up wielding his swords on her direction.

In one glance, he did not seem like he is hurts. But she knows he is poisoned from the way bloods on his stomach blackening.

"If you want to live, don't move," a deep husky male voice spoke, darken the atmosphere.

"I might look like this but I have learned some taekwondo before. So put down your sword." When she look at his unchanged gaze, Xu Ling Ai raised both of her hand like she is in front of a policeman.

'He is heavily poisoned but he still has the energy to stand. Hmmm his identity must be superior. Did I met a spy?'

Saving someone's life is more important. She knew his intention is good. So she want to save him by trying to persuade him.

"It is poison. Let me help you." Xu Ling Ai move slowly towards him.

In the darkness, Xu Ling Ai notice that he is dressed all in black with a gold mask on.

She look very alluring with wet night robes and wet hair. But he is not a man who is easily tempted. He wonder if a lady like her know how to treat poison.

The silence lasted for about a minute before he spoke. He decided to trust her for once.

"How long will it take?"

"My house is near here. We need to stop the bleeding real quick." Xu Ling Ai quickly said. She is worried the poison will spread even faster if they delay the treatment.

Xu Ling Ai then led the mask man towards their house. It is very fortunate she live near the river only. Or the man won't be alive.

"Jiang Mama pick up some painkillers leaf, poison's antidote, unused rags, torch and also a big bowl of water. Fast!"

Once arrived in front of her house, she screamed for Jiang Mama's help. Jiang Mama were shocked when she saw Xu Ling Ai in a sleeping attire wet all over with a man but she didn't ask anything as she could see the man is injured.

The mask man who kept his silence, finally putting down his swords.

"Masked man. Please don't move. I will check your injuries." Her voice was small but slightly stern.

In the dim light, he look directly at the young lady with intensity. No one expect the next thing Xu Ling Ai would do is trying to take off his clothes.

"What are you doing?" He dangerously said, snatching her small hands. He thought she was going to give him antidotes only.

"I'm sorry if you feel uncomfortable. But if I didn't check the wound, how am I going to treat it?"

Xu Ling Ai suddenly remember some of the country etiquette that Jiang Mama has teach her. Unmarried man and woman need to have some boundaries.

"I'll do it myself." His icy tone broke the silence.

"Sure. It's not like I really want to see your body." Xu Ling Ai roll her eyes.

'I had seen a lot of man body on netflix. His body probably nothing compared to the actors.' She snorted.

Though the poison has started to spread out, this masked man still possessed a good amount of strength. He then then took off his outer robes.

"Miss I brought all the things that you told me to."

Jiang Mama snapped her out of entrance and went back to prepare more medicines.

Putting the torch beside her, it instantly lighten up the small place.

As soon as she set her eyes on his body, she froze. Xu Ling Ai has never seen a man figure face to face so she thought it was just normal.

'Don't drool. Don't drool. She remind herself.

But she didn't know that a man body would be more alluring. She is no saint. This masked man had an excellent physique.

"Cool." Xu Ling Ai blurted out the word and she quickly covered her mouth.

But her attention suddenly diverted to the old scars on his huge body. Unconsciously tracing it softly, she asked.

"This must hurt a lot when you first got it."

Sadness washed over her as she feel somehow in pain. Probably the old memories of the real Xu Ling Ai. She quickly shake off her thoughts. This is not her.

Xu Ling Ai kneeled down next to him and gave him the antidotes. Her hands skillfully using the acupuncture technique to stop the bleeding.

She then spread out her salve and the mixed medicinal plants. Xu Ling Ai realized she had used all the rag.

Without wasting anytime, she tear her own nightie robe on the below part which have dried and wrap it around him.

"It's done. Mister you should change the wound twice a day and don't drink alcohol for some times." She remind him while turning around to wash her hand in the bowl.

Hearing no respond, she turned to find him out of nowhere leaving a luxurious looking jade on the ground.

"Is this the way he thanked me or he accidentally left this? This seem so expensive. Can I sell this?"

Picking up the jade, she whispered to herself gazing down at the jade. The shiny looking jade was carved perfectly.
