Dear Cait,
It's cold today.. I'm here again, waiting for him for almost an hour. This is the third time he's late, I know he's busy.. I respect that.. but, he could at least.. let me know if he's coming or not! So I wouldn't look like a fool here, waiting for hours..
...----------------...
Suddenly, the glass doors burst open as the bell rang, signalling a newcomer inside the restaurant. It was him—Nigel.. The guy I've been waiting for.
His hair was tussled in a mess, his scarf hung loose on his broad shoulders and his chest heaving deep breaths as if he ran a mile. His deep oceanic orbs roamed the restaurant, looking for something or someone—and that was me.
As his orbs roamed the restaurant, he then spotted me when he looked at the far left side of the isle, he smiled and waved at me. Of course, I waved back, and gave a very sweet smile.
'Why? Why do I always do this?'
He quickly walked to my direction and sat in front of me, parted by the rectangular table. He took out a small box and pushed it towards me. I have him a look, a look he knew very well—I wasn't in a good mood.
"Sorry, I know this is the third time I've been late. I'm busy, but that's not an excuse for me to make you look like a fool. I'm sorry, Cait"
He always knew what to say.. to make me feel better. He's really nice and sweet. I just nodded and smiled as I opened the small box, not really caring if the cover was destroyed. Inside, was a small keychain, a cute small cat keychain.
"It's adorable, I love it! Thank you, Nigel.. "
"Are you hungry? My classes are done now, anyway.. We can spend so much time together.. "
I gave him a sad look, and he quickly understood as he looked over at the clock—it was 12:48 in the afternoon.. there were only twelve minutes before my afternoon classes start. He breathed a heavy sigh as he scratched his nape.
"Sorry, Cait.. Guess I only have twelve minutes with you.."
I gave a weak smile as Nigel ordered us a quick lunch. He had a medium-sized steak and handed me a small one. We quickly ate lunch, and left the restaurant. We walked hand in hand towards the university a five-minute walk from the campus.
I leaned my head against his shoulders, breathing in the cold October wind as it brushes past us. Me—Cait Falchion has been in love with Nigel Mabalos.
...----------------...
I still remember clearly, as if it was yesterday when I saw him. Gracefully, walking towards the flag pole of our campus. I was only a junior that time—a third year junior... while, he was a fourth year.
I remember it well.. The very first time our eyes met. How his deep oceanic orbs stared right through my dark brown ones.. As if he was reading me—like a newly published book.
Then, he smiled at me. His smile melted my heart right away, I felt a deep blush cover my cheeks as he walked up towards the flagpole and untied the rope for the start of the flag ceremony.
I couldn't stop staring at him. I didn't want to stop, but, by the looks of it.. He didn't care that time. It was as if he wanted me to stare—I knew he felt that. As his lips curled up in a smirk as his eyes moved to the corner—looking at me.
That was the moment.. That was the very moment.. I felt everything stop, time stopped.. As if everything was in slow motion and we both—we're the only ones there.. As if it was just me and Nigel.
My heartbeat so hard, as if it was trying to break out of my chest. Like a caged animal, waiting to be free. The flag ceremony ended quickly—but, to me.. It felt like hours. I walked with my classmates, hand in hand with Anita.. When, he brushed past us, walking gracefully away from me.
Suddenly, I caught his eyes, staring at me.. With that heart melting smile plastered on his face. I was caught at the moment—I couldn't stop, didn't want to stop staring at him. Then, he winked at me and walked off, too quickly.
My cheeks became flushed once again, my ears red from replaying the moment again and again in my head—I'm looking like a fool right now. I'm just thankful, Anita was oblivious to everything that happened, since she was so focused on her boyfriend—Shane Haidian, by her side.
...----------------...
"Well, see you later.. Cait"
Nigel broke me from my random memory lane as he grabbed my cheeks and kissed my forehead. It was a quick kiss, but it doesn't matter. To me—it meant so much, too much.
"Okay.. See you later, Nigel"
He walked away and headed for the stairs towards his classroom, it was just above mine. I walked inside my classroom and spotted Anita, waiting for me.
"Cait! Quick, there's still time.. Let's share this citrus!"
I giggled at her random cuteness, no wonder Shane fell for her—too hard. I sat beside Anita on the white stool and swiftly peeled off the citrus skin. Suddenly, Anita broke the happy moment, asking about Nigel.
"So... How's it going with Nigel? Don't tell me you waited an hour for him again at the restaurant.. "
I couldn't look at her straight in the eyes, the only thing I could do was lower my head as I split the citrus into half and handed it to her.
"Seriously?! Cait, you waited an hour again?!"
"C'mon, he was really busy.. And we already had a talk about that.."
"Really?? Just busy?? That's the third time.. Cait"
"I know.."
Anita looked at me, a sad look on her face. She gave a sigh and patted my back as she hugged me.
"I'm sorry.. I'm just really worried about you, I'm your best friend after all, Cait. I don't want to see you get hurt.."
I smiled at Anita as I hugged her back, tight.
'Seriously.. When did this start? When did things started going downhill?..'
'Seriously… When did this start? When did things started going downhill?…'

Nigel POV
'Shit! I'm late, again! This is the third time, this happened, Caite is going to be so mad at me...'
I raced down the stairs, mildly bumping against shoulders that hang on the corridors and stairs.
My hair was tussled in a mess, my scarf hung loosely against my neck and broad shoulders. I glanced at my watch, it was already 12:30.
'Shit! I'm really going to get it this time..'
I sprinted towards the restaurant, even though it was just a five-minute walk from campus.
Suddenly, I burst open glass doors, as if I wanted to break it from the way I recklessly opened it. As I did, the small bell that hang above the door rang, signalling a newcomer.
My hair was tussled in a mess even more now, my scarf hung loose on my broad shoulders, my chest heaving deep breaths as if I ran a mile. I roamed my deep oceanic orbs around the restaurant, looking for something or someone—and that was Caite.
I caught her, at the far left side of the isle, looking sad, 'She really waited for an hour again…' I quickly smiled and waved at her.
'At least... she waited for me'
I quickly walked to her direction and sat in front of Caite. I took out a small box and pushed it towards Caite. She gave me a look, a look I knew very well—she wasn't in a good mood.
"Sorry, I know this is the third time I've been late. I'm busy... But that's not an excuse for me to make you look like a fool. I'm sorry, Caite"
Caite opened the small box, not really caring if the cover was destroyed, typical her. Inside, was a small keychain, a cute small cat keychain.
"It's adorable, I love it! Thank you, Nigel.. "
"Are you hungry? My classes are done now, anyway.. We can spend so much time together.. "
She had a sad look on her beautiful face, and I quickly understood and looked over at the clock—it was 12:48 in the afternoon.. there were only twelve minutes before her afternoon classes start. I breathed out a heavy sigh and scratched my nape.
"Sorry, Cait.. Guess I only have twelve minutes with you.."
Caite gave me a weak smile as I ordered us a quick lunch. I had a medium-sized steak and handed her a small one. We quickly ate lunch, and left the restaurant. We walked hand in hand towards the university a five-minute walk from the restaurant.
I felt Caite lean her head against my shoulders, breathing in the cold October wind as it brushes past us. Me—Nigel Mabalos has been in love with Cait Falchion.
...----------------...
It feels like yesterday, like a summer cool breeze. I can still clearly remember, the very first time I saw her—Caite.
I walked gracefully, towards the flag pole of our campus. I was a fourth year that time while she—a third year junior...
I remember it well.. The very first time our eyes met. How her dark brown ones stared right through my deep oceanic orbs... Her pink soft lips, agape staring right at me. In her eyes, she had this look of shock and amazement.
Then, I gave her a smiled. A smile that I know melted her heart right away, a deep blush cover her cheeks as I walked up towards the flagpole and untied the rope for the start of the flag ceremony.
I knew she couldn't stop staring at me. I didn't want her to stop. I wanted to keep looking at me. I felt my lips curled up in a smirk as my eyes moved to the corner—looking at her.
That was the moment... That was the very moment.. I felt everything stop, time stopped... As if everything was in slow motion and we both—we're the only ones there.. My heartbeat so hard, as if it was trying to break out of my chest. As if it was just me and Caite.
The flag ceremony ended quickly. I caught up to her, she walked with her classmates and hand in hand with Anita.. When, I suddenly, brushed past them, walking gracefully.
Suddenly, I caught her eyes, staring at me… With that adorable shocked look plastered on her face. I was caught at the moment—I couldn't stop, didn't want to stop staring at her. Then, subconsciously I winked at her and walked off, too quickly.
...----------------...
"Well, see you later.. Caite"
I grabbed her cheeks and kissed her forehead. It was a quick kiss, but it doesn't matter. To me—it meant so much, too much.
"Okay... See you later, Nigel"
I walked away and headed for the stairs towards my classroom. The second floor, it was just above Caite.
Xamantha POV
As I pack my things that was sprawled on my desk, I couldn't help but glance at Nigel—the guy I've been in love with... He was quickly packing his things. That was the third time this week, it was if he was trying to catch up on something or someone but who could it be...
'Could Nigel have a girfriend? But, that's impossible... If he did, then everyone would know... '
He swung his bag on his shoulders and ran out the door, not caring if he bumped into our classmates on the way out.
I wanted to race up to Nigel, I want to ask him about something—and it's always been plaguing my mind.
'Could I have a chance if I ask Nigel?'
I was about to run up to him, but someone grabbed my arm, it was Lizza—my best friend.
"Are you okay, Xamantha?"
I looked at her and glanced back at Nigel. I looked backed at Lizza and nodded my head. I grabbed my bag and sling my arm against Lizza.
Lizza and Xamantha walked hand in hand out the classroom.
Lizza noticed Xamantha was quite the entire time, she kept glancing around them, trying to find what or who Xamantha kept looking for.
"Xam? Who are looking for?"
"Uh… Oh… N-no one, Lizza"
Xamantha answered as she focused her gaze on the path in front of them. Oblivious to the stares she got from Lizza.
"You know, Nigel went that way..."
Lizza whispered as she side eyed Xamantha, as she pointed towards a direction.
"H-he... did..."
Xamantha stopped in her tracks and looked at her.Lizza had a wide grin on her face. Her eyes wide in shock, her mouth agape. The answer was already clear, as bright as day—there it was plastered on Xamantha's face.
"So you were looking for Nigel, huh?"
'Can't believe I fell for that!'
Xamantha quickly looked away from Lizza, embarrassed. Lizza giggles as she saw Xamantha's priceless expression.
"You don't need to it anymore, Xam... everyone knows you like Nigel"
...----------------...
Xamantha POV
'Can't believe I fell for that! How stupid could I be?'
I can't believe I fell for that, I looked at Lizza for the eight time right now.
We were having lunch now, at my favorite restaurant, it was a five-minute walk from campus. Lizza was busy eating her lunch—chicken curry, it was her favorite, while I had a small steak.
"You know... you don't have to like everything that Nigel does, Xam"
Lizza broke the deafening silence between us. I blinked once, twice and nearly choked. She handed me a glass of cold water and I quickly drank it.
I gave her a look—that meant I wanted an explanation.
"Hm... I know that this is Nigel's favorite restaurant, Xam... why do you have to like everything he does?"
"Because I like him, too much"
"Just because you like him doesn't mean you have to like everything he does!"
...----------------...
Lizza POV
Xam was packing up her things, and she kept glancing at Nigel—the guy she's been head over heels upon... He was quickly packing his things. That was the third time this week, and I knew why.
'He's probably late again...'
He swung his bag on his shoulders and ran out the door, not caring if he bumped into our classmates on the way out.
I caught Xam, and I knew she wanted to race up to Nigel.
'Should I tell her that he likes Caite'
She was about to run up to him, but I grabbed her arm, and she quickly whipped her head to look at me.
"Are you okay, Xamantha?"
Xam glanced back at Nigel, then back at me and nodded her head
We both walked hand in hand out the classroom.
I noticed Xamantha was quite the entire time, she kept glancing around us, trying to find him.
"Xam? Who are looking for?"
"Uh… Oh… N-no one, Lizza" Xam answered, stuttering a little.
Xamantha focused her gaze on the path in front of us. Oblivious to the stares I kept giving her.
"You know, Nigel went that way..."
I whispered as I side eyed Xam, and pointed towards a direction.
"H-he... did..."
Xamantha stopped in her tracks and looked at me, her eyes wide in shock, her mouth agape. The answer was already clear, as bright as day—there it was plastered on Xamantha's face..
"So you were looking for Nigel, huh?"
'Gotcha Xam... but I always knew you liked Nigel'
Xamantha quickly looked away from me, embarrassed. I giggled as I saw Xamantha's priceless expression.
"You don't need to hide it anymore, Xam... everyone knows you like Nigel"
****************
'I always knew that this restaurant was Nigel's favorite... I just can't believe Xam would like everything he likes...'
"Because I like him, too much" she answered too fast.
"Just because you like him doesn't mean you have to like everything he does!"
Xam started at me, with that stern look on her face.
'Why?... why can't you see that he has someone in his heart by the way he moves…'
"I just really like him, Lizza..."
She said, with that sad look on her face. I couldn't bear to see her hurt, not even once.
'Why?... Why? Why does it have to be like this?... why does my heartache... every time I get to see your hurt expression?'
I looked at her... she still had that hurt expression on her face, it specifically showed in her gentle brown eyes.
'I've had many girlfriends before... but Why? why do I only feel like this when it comes to Xam?... Do... do I really Xam, that way?'
I shook off the thought and comforted Xam, I shouldn't have raised my voice at her.
"I'm sorry Xam... I shouldn't have raised my voice like that... "
"It's okay, Lizza... You're right anyway, just because I like Nigel... Doesn't mean I also have to copy him..."
Xam smiled at me and placed her hands against mine. Suddenly, my heart flipped when our fingers made contact... I felt like a sudden electric wave rushed up to me. And I felt butterflies in my stomach...
Her smile... Xamantha's smile gave me butterflies!! I felt a sudden heat rush up to my cheeks.
I shrugged it off and smiled at Xam as we finished our lunch.
...----------------...
Anita POV
I saw Nigel and Caite out the corridor of our classroom.
'Aww, look at these two lovebirds... such a shame they don't have a label on their relationship...'
I saw Nigel kiss Caite's forehead, he's really sweet when it comes to her.
"Guess he's late again today..."
Nigel left and walked upstairs, he's classroom was just above ours. Then, Caite walked inside the classroom, a sweet smile on her face.
'This girl is head over heels for Nigel...'
"Cait! Quick, there's still time… Let's share this citrus!" I called towards her, showing the citrus on my palm.
Caite sat down on the white stool and swiftly peeled off the citrus skin. When, I suddenly broke the happy moment between us.
"So…. How's it going with Nigel? Don't tell me you waited an hour for him again at the restaurant.. "
Caite couldn't look at me straight in the eyes, the only thing she could do was lower her head as she split the citrus into half and handed it to me.
"Seriously?! Caite, you waited an hour again?!"
"C'mon, he was really busy.. And we already had a talk about that.." Caite reasoned with me.
"Really?? Just busy?? That's the third time.. Caite"
"I know.."
I looked at her, a sad look on my face. I gave a sigh and patted her back as I hugged her.
"I'm sorry.. I'm just really worried about you, I'm your best friend after all, Cait. I don't want to see you get hurt.."
I smiled at Anita as I hugged her back, tight.
"How about you and Shane? How are you guys doing?"
I chuckled as she tried to change the subject. I look at her and ate one citrus.
"Don't change the subject, Caite. Anyways, we're fine... we're going on a date this Saturday"
Caite smiled at me, a sad one. I handed her a single citrus, and she gladly took it from my palm.
"Don't stress it, I'm sure Nigel has something planned for you..."
"I sure hope he does, Ani..."
Shane POV
Nigel walked inside the classroom, looking a little f*cked up.
'Guess, he was late again for the third time'
"Dude, you look like sh*t, you alright?"
He looked at me with that look, again. I raised up arms—implying that 'alright, you ain't fine'
"I'm not fine, Shane. Caite isn't happy, she may fake it, but I know... I know she's mad at me"
"Dude, of course she'd be mad at you... I mean, it's the third time you've been late in a week"
Nigel breathed a heavy sign. Man, he's totally head over heels for Caite. I patted his back and gave him two tickets for a festival this Saturday.
"Here, you bring Caite with you this Saturday and make it up to her. It's the least I could do to make up for you anyway, since, you took the fall for my stupidity"
He looked at me and smirked, he took the tickets from me and placed it inside his bag.
"You're lucky, I took that fall for you or else you can't take Anita on a date this Saturday... By the way, are those tickets for you and her?"
I chuckled and nodded my head.
"Don't give it back to me, Nigel. Take it and have fun with Caite, make it up to her. I can figure something out for our date this Saturday"
"Thanks, Shane..."
We fist bump then, suddenly, I got a text from Anita—my girlfriend for three years.
'Shane, you better tell me if Nigel has something up for Caite'
I showed the text to Nigel, and he took it from me.
'Ani... it's me, Nigel, please don't tell Caite I have a surprise for her this Saturday'
He handed it back to me and sat down on the stool. He brushed his fingers against his dark brown hair and breathe a heavy sigh.
...----------------...
Nigel POV
As I walked towards the hall of our classroom, I couldn't help but think of a way to make it up to Caite. Then, I walked inside the classroom and saw Shane looking at me.
'I'm jealous of you, you sh*t... You get to have Anita without hiding the fact that you guys have something... while, us, we have to hide it from everyone'
"Dude, you look like sh*t, you alright?"
I gave Shane the look. He raised up his arms—implying that 'alright, you ain't fine'
"I'm not fine, Shane. Caite isn't happy, she may fake it, but I know... I know she's mad at me"
"Dude, of course she'd be mad at you... I mean, it's the third time you've been late in a week"
I breathed a heavy sign. Man, I'm totally head over heels for Caite. I felt Shane pat my back and gave me two tickets for a festival this Saturday.
"Here, you bring Caite with you this Saturday and make it up to her. It's the least I could do to make up for you anyway, since, you took the fall for my stupidity"
I looked at him and smirked, then, took the tickets from Shane and placed it inside my bag.
"You're lucky, I took that fall for you or else you can't take Anita on a date this Saturday... By the way, are those tickets for you and her?"
Shane chuckled and nodded his head.
"Don't give it back to me, Nigel. Take it and have fun with Caite, make it up to her. I can figure something out for our date this Saturday"
"Thanks, Shane..."
We fist bump then, suddenly, his phone rang. He got a text from Anita—his girlfriend for three years.
'Shane, you better tell me if Nigel has something up for Caite'
Shane showed the text to me, and I took it from him.
'Ani... it's me, Nigel, please don't tell Caite I have a surprise for her this Saturday'
I handed it back to him and sat down on the stool. I brushed my fingers against my dark brown hair and breathe a heavy sigh.
'I sure hope this ends well for me and Caite...'
"Dude, don't think too much about it. I'll be a blast for you and Caite this Saturday"
...----------------...
Nigel smiled and nodded his head, Shane really is a great friend towards him. They've known each other since they're five.
They're like brothers now, they share everything and anything... but, of course they different when it comes to the person they love.
Shane Haidian had always been outgoing, an easy-going and go with the flow style—the very reason why Anita Hiligan fell for him.
Meanwhile, Nigel Mabalos is quite something. Nigel is popular, the heartthrob of SAVNT. But, there's something about him that everyone has been following up on—the girl he likes.
Almost every girl in campus, wanted to know who managed to capture his heart. It showed on his fourth year on junior high, he started to change. Every time, their section would lead the flag ceremony, he would always stand out and raise the flag—they thought it was because he was 'assigned'... until, they find out that it was to look at the girl who managed to capture his heart.
But, no one found out who this mysterious girl was. No one, found out about her.
...----------------...
Caite POV
Anita was busy chatting with someone on her phone, it's probably Shane.
'Seriously, I'm a little jealous of Ani and Shane's relationship...'
I took out my phone and decided to write on my diary again.
Dear Caite,
You know... I'm really jealous of Ani and Shane's relationship, they don't need to hide from everyone. While us, we have to hide, the time...
I was about to write more, when, suddenly Anita tapped me on the shoulder and pointed outside the classroom and whispered.
"Caite, it's Matthew... he's outside, again"
"Hm... here we go again..."
I walked outside with Anita following me, Matthew stood in front of me. He showed me two tickets for the festival this Saturday.
"Let's go to the festival this Saturday, Caite..."
"Sorry, Matt... I'm busy this Saturday"
Anita was just behind me, though I know she'd help me just a little later, when I can't get rid of Matthew.
"Come on, Caite... Please, it's just this Saturday. It'll be fine, promise…"
He had that smile on his face, again. These are the times—such times that I want Nigel to save me...
"Matt, Caite already said she's busy just leave her alone, please..." Anita spoke now beside me.
"Sorry, Anita but I asked Caite not you..."
"And she already gave her answer so leave her alone." Someone on the stairs said.
Matt, Anita and me whipped our heads to look at the person that interrupted our conversation—more like about to be a fight.
I couldn't believe who it was, I blinked once, twice, thrice... But, it was real. He was really there.
Shane POV
We kept talking about how Nigel could make it up to Caite. I gave him some ideas, and he appreciated it, a lot.
He was smiling more now, he's really head over heels for Caite. But, that's alright, Caite feels the same way about Nigel anyway.
Suddenly, my phone rang. It was a text from Anita.
"Sh*t, Nigel..."
He quickly looked at me and snatched the phone. I peeked from his shoulder to read the text and my eyes widened.
Matthew Herded—who's infatuated with Caite was just outside their classroom. He invited Caite to attend the festival this Saturday.
Nigel POV
Me and Shane kept talking about how I could make it up to Caite. He gave me some ideas and I appreciated it, a lot.
I was smiling more now, I'm really head over heels for Caite. But, that's alright, Caite feels the same way about me, anyway.
Suddenly, Shane's phone rang. It was a text from Anita.
"Sh*t, Nigel..." Shane cursed, and I quickly whipped my head to look at Shane and snatched the phone from him.
'From Anita,
Shane come quick, Matthew is here, again. He's inviting Caite to attend the festival this Saturday. You have to help us. I know Nigel can't risk letting everyone know about their relationship, he's too scared to let everyone know he's with Caite. '
I felt my blood boil as the thought of Matthew and Caite. My Caite spending time with him. I couldn't let that happen, but I was also scared of everyone finding out about our relationship—I couldn't risk Caite's safety.
I quickly ran out the classroom and towards the hall down the stairs. I stopped on the stairs and saw Matthew out the corridor of Caite's classroom.
Caite was there, Anita was beside her.
"Matt, Caite already said she's busy just leave her alone, please..." Ani spoke now beside her.
"Sorry, Anita but I asked Caite not you..."
"And she already gave her answer so leave her alone." I spoke, a cold tone on my voice.
Matt, Ani and Caite whipped out their heads to look at the person that interrupted their conversation—or more likely about to be a fight.
Caite, my sweet Caite couldn't believe who it was, She blinked once, twice, thrice... But, it was real. I was really standing there, on the stairs glaring at him.
Caite POV
"And she already gave her answer so leave her alone." Someone by the stairs said, a cold tone in their voice.
Matthew, Anita and me whipped our heads to look at the person that interrupted our conversation—more like about to be a fight.
I couldn't believe who it was, I blinked once, twice, thrice... But, it was real. He was really there, by the stairs glaring at Matt.
Nigel was here, he's really here—for me. I wanted to run into his arms right now, but I know I can't—we can't be seen together.
But, that's alright. This is enough, for me.
"You shouldn't meddle in someone's business."
"Hey, kid, just because you're a first year senior now... You get to act like that. You still have to respect your seniors"
"Tsk.. Just think about it, Caite"
Matthew look back at me, his expression changed from mad to sweet. Then, he walked away.
I looked back at Nigel and smiled as I mouthed him, thank you. He smiled at me and nodded his head, him and Shane walked back upstairs towards their classroom.
Matthew POV
I was ruffling my bag when, I remembered, I kept something there that I bought yesterday. I opened the back zipper of my bag and took out two tickets for the festival this Saturday.
I smiled as I imagined me and Caite going to the festival this Saturday, how she would wrap her fingers around my own as we walked hand in hand towards the festival.
I had decided already, I would ask her out today. I went to her classroom and spotted her with Anita, she's gorgeous, as always. She was typing on her phone, probably talking to someone.
Anita spotted me, and tapped her on the shoulder and pointed outside the classroom—towards me and whispered something to Caite.
Caite saw me as she followed where Anita pointed at. She walked outside with Anita following her, while I stood in front of them. I showed her two tickets for the festival this Saturday.
"Let's go to the festival this Saturday, Caite..."
"Sorry, Matt... I'm busy this Saturday" Caite quickly answered, a little annoyed.
"Come on, Caite... Please, it's just this Saturday. It'll be fine, promise…"
"Matt, Caite already said she's busy just leave her alone, please..." Ani spoke, beside Caite.
"Sorry, Anita but I asked Caite not you..."
"And she already gave her answer so leave her alone." Someone on the stairs said, a cold tone on their voice.
Caite, Anita and me whipped our heads to look at the person that interrupted our conversation.
"You shouldn't meddle in someone's business."
I looked at Nigel, glaring back at him. What business does he have with Caite? They're not even anything, and as far as I know... Xamantha Cordova has always been pinning after him.
"Hey, kid, just because you're a first year senior now... You get to act like that. You still have to respect your seniors" Shane reprimanded me.
"Tsk.. Just think about it, Caite"
I look back at Caite, my expression changed from mad to sweet. Then, I walked away.
