A chill ran down my spine. I couldn't grasp the situation. I was so shocked after seeing Leona like that.

'what's happening?! Who are they?How do they know my name? Are they from R foundation? Why....

Did they kidnap Leona because of me?'

I was so angry that I was going crazy. Leona was my only friend since childhood. She treated me like her sister.

I was so shocked to know that my best friend who was as precious as my own family to me, got kidnapped because of my mistake. I only knew that I had to go find her. Little did I know that I was forgetting the most important thing. When I regained my reasoning I remembered that I didn't inform anyone of the situation.

I couldn't have been any more stupid than this that I had forgotten to inform the police. I knew it was too late as I had already reached the warehouse, but I still had to do it anyway. My feet stopped and I said.

"Livy... Please call the police and report the kidnapping."

" Meow?... Okay... So we are going to wait until they arrive, right"

I thought about waiting for the police to arrive, but I couldn't because I didn't know what might happen if I was just a bit late. My thoughts were all messed up.

'Should I wait? What if something happens to Leona?! Should I go? But what if I can't help her?'

I couldn't wait any longer and decided to face the consequences of my mistake. Even after knowing that I was just gambling on the possibility to be of any help, I couldn't stop my heart that was telling me to go.

He threw a gun at me and then ordered his men.

I looked back and said.

"Leona?!... What are you doing? Let's get out of here quickly. "

" Weren't you supposed to die for me as you said before?"

I couldn't understand for a moment.

What did she say right now? Is it really what Leona would say?

" What are--"

Shocked at the cold sentence said by Leona. I was about to ask her what she meant by that, but then she broke in and shouted.

" Why can't you just die?! Is it that difficult?!"

I never thought that I would hear it from her. My lips moved on their own.

"Why?... "

I just wanted to clear the misunderstanding, but I knew that we couldn't stay there any longer because the police had yet to enter the warehouse and the kidnappers had started looking for us to make us hostages. I stepped forward and held her hand forcefully. She was unwilling, but there was no other way.
