Description: Her last name does her complete justice; co-captain of the dance team, captain of the cheer team. NHS member and does volunteer work on the weekends all while maintaining above average grades. Nominated for homecoming queen 2 years in a row and her peers think it's a crime that she hasn't won yet. She managed to get nominated "Best Smile", and "Best Personality". Deservedly so. Her family is the cookie cutter rich and successful one that you would imagine, but with actual substance, and they're not snobby. After all, who doesn't love a Darling.

Name: Maddox Smith (Mad Dog)

Age: 17

Description: Good looking, charismatic, and has a way with words. All of these qualities almost make up for the fact that he's a complete asshole. Almost. If he doesn't like you he'll be sure to let you know, and if he finds you somewhat attractive he'll be sure to add you to his body count. If you know what I mean. Is rarely at school due to either suspensions, or just him plain skipping. If he is there he's probably hanging out with U.J. Fun fact he has been arrested multiple times for illegal drug possession, and driving while intoxicated, or coming to class intoxicated,and yet people still swoon after him.

Name:Justin Lakeford (Mr. Perfect/Ice boy)

Description: Focused. That's the first word that comes to mind when asked to describe Justin. The second being intimidating. Not in Maddox's "I'm going to jump you" way, but in a "Don't breathe near me if you're not intelligent" type of way. Justin has immense pressure to succeed.He was voted "Most likely to succeed" as well as "Most likely to reject you". He eats, sleeps, and breathes his school work. Also a member NHS as well as already taking college courses. If it's not related to a classroom topic then don't even open you're mouth. Strangers may call him cold, but that's honestly because he is extremely allergic to bullshit. He's better than his brother, and in his mind that's all that counts.

Name: Kannon Jung (Kannon Ball/All-Star)

Age:16

Description: Unbelievably gifted in any sport he tries, but basketball is his passion. He made the Varsity team despite being a Sophomore, and prides himself on it. Travelled to Korea last summer to play. This was exciting for him because he got to see where his parents grew up. Don't think he's some dumb jock though he could easily have a 4.0, but settles for a 3. Because that's his lucky number.Lives in the same neighborhood as the Darlings and Lakefords'. Used to date Rania, but had to break up because his mom said she was a distraction, but they're still close friends. Liked by everyone, and has also been nominated for homecoming court a few times. When he's not practicing at school he's practicing at home. "You'll have time to rest when you're old" is what his mom says.

Name: Carter Carson (Sheriff's boy/E-boy)

Age: 18 (oldest)

Description: Son of the police chief, so he's often left out from all of the illegal activities that his peers participate in. Not that he cares. If they want to get drunk off their asses then fine by him. He'll do it alone. In his room. While thinking about his mother. A recluse of sorts not much is known about him besides what is seen. He opts to people watch and silently judge. That's basically what he's know for at this point. Giving people judgmental stares. He's always watching and he somehow knows everything about everyone.When he's not doing that however he his hanging out in the police station chatting up he father's co-workers, or researching practical law. Because although he may not look like it he wants to be a lawyer. Like his mother was.

Name: Easton Andrews (Lady Killer/E)

Age:16 (youngest)

Description: Easton similar to Kannon is both smart and athletic. The only difference is Easton is incredibly shy. Infact he's only ever really seen talking to his childhood friend Grayson, but people still love him specifically girls. Due to his height and deep voice females often forget the boy just turned 16. Giving him the nickname "Lady Killer" by the upperclassmen, but what they don't know is that this "womanizer" is a complete and utter ******. He always politely declines offers, and girls find him so cute they just brush it off and move along. Don't get him wrong it's not like they're not cute. He's just not attracted to them. Because they're females. Of course no one else needs to know that.

Name: U.J. II (Loud mouth)

Age:18

Description: No one knows U.J.'s actual name he hasn't gone by it in years. It reminds him of "him", so he'd rather not think about it. Is often seen wondering the halls with Maddox, or wonder the streets until dawn to avoid going home. He is loud, brash, and talks way to much. Don't get into a verbal alteration with him though he will insult your entire family lineage. All bark and no bite, it is know that he tends to crumble in the face of violence. Which is why he sticks close to Maddox. Despite being a complete smart *** he's pretty much harmless. He was happy to be invited for the project because it kept him out of the house longer.

Name: Grayson Corgicuski (No name)

Age:17

Description: Grayson is mute. This has been his reality for the past 2 years now. This wasn't an accident though. It was a choice. He even learned sign language that way he really wouldn't have to speak. Much to the dismay of his parents.To most people he's never spoken hence the title "No Name".Easton is the only person who talks to, and it's only small 'Yes's or No's' it's better this way because if he flies under the radar then he'll be left alone. Easton won't have to defend him. Not that he wouldn't be able to defend himself now, because now things are different. He's a lot more muscular now since hitting the gym and girls have noticed. Although Grayson's only has eyes for a certain Darling at the moment.liked the quick character intro.

No One's POV

It was well into the first hour of the day, and the hallway was empty besides Maddox leaning against a wall while chewing some gum. His curly brown hair still damp from his shower and hanging over his eyes. He had just arrived at the school, and was already debating leaving.

"Shouldn't you be in class or something?" The security guard, Mr. Clarke asked.

"Yeah, and?" He responded.

"Well why aren't you?"

"Do you really care?"

"Not really, but if you're going to skip don't do it around me. I don't want to get in trouble."

"Sure,whatever." The teen pushed himself off the wall and prepared to turn in the opposite direction.

"Wait." The security guard said while shuffling through his handful of colorful passes. "Figure out who this is and give it to them. We're low on pass runners this morning" he said while handing two purple slips to Maddox. The male took the slip and read the name "Maddox Smith".

"This one has my name on it though."

"Really? How convenient, less work for me then." The guard said has he walked away. A purple slip. That meant the principal's office. "Just great" the male thought. He stood there thinking for a bit before deciding to continue his stroll in the opposite direction of Mr. Clarke and the principal's office. His stroll took him to the cafeteria where a power writing class was being held. Dark eyes scanning the group of students most of which still half asleep. Once he spotted who he was looking for he walked over and slid into the seat next to him. The teacher didn't say anything though probably out of surprise the the male was actually at school.

"This is for you I guess." Maddox stated. Handing the purple pass over without looking.

"Principal's office, but I didn't do anything yet? I literally just got here." The other male said slightly confused. His clear voice echoing through the near empty cafeteria.

"U.J. please refrain from disrupting class this early in the day." The teacher scolded.

"Sorry Mrs. Huber." The male replied.

"Don't ask me. I got one too." Maddox shrugged while looking off into the distance.

"So....are we going then?"

"Hell no. You can go if you want to. I'm on my last life. If I slip up one more time then they're dropping me." Maddox explained while getting up and heading towards the exit.

"But doesn't ignoring this pass count as a slip up?" His friend reasoned while packing up his material.

Maddox waited for his friend to reach him at the door before continuing to walk.

"You know, I guess you kinda have a point." He admitted.

"Of course I do. This is why we're friends. I'm the brains and you're the brawn." U.J. mused.

"You say you're the brains yet you're GPA says otherwise." Maddox countered.

U.J. stopped walking for a second before doubling over in laughter. The clear sound echoing through the empty hallways and piercing Maddox's ears, but in a good way. He loved the sound of U.J.'s laughter. Loud and carefree just like him.It was one of the main reasons he came to school. The laughter eventually subsided, as U.J. returned to standing upright.

"I guess you're right about that," He agreed. "But you never answered my question."

"What question?" Maddox asked.

"Are we going or not? Because I don't want to deal with Frost this early in the morning by myself." U.J. said while looking up slightly at his friend.

"Yeah, I guess we can go,and see what it's about. It's probably another detention or something." U.J. shook his head in agreement.

Eventually the two males walked into the office area and navigated easily through the corridors. Due to having walked this path many times before stopping at a door that had the word Frost written on it in gold letters.

"If I knew I was going to be seeing him this early. I would have came to school high." Maddox announced. U.J. chuckled. Before shoving the door open and shouting, "Frosty! I heard you wanted to see us!"
