I'm Jang Hye-Lin, I live in Soul in South Korea. The world had changed a lot. Flying cars and it looks much different. The countries agreed to have one ruler over the whole world, and the ruler said that if anyone has any abnormal powers visions they will be executed. There is also a dark side with it, some reachears some years ago did a mistake and some abnormal abilities spilled, it caused a big mess, monsters. All around the city there are patrols.

That's why every 5 years they check it. Now let's get back to me. I'm 19 turning 20 in November. I live in a small street with my mom and dad and a little sister. Since I was small I saw some weird things around peoples finger, a red line. But I never said what I have have seen because my mom told me that people kill others if they have visions etc. When I was in elementary school I got bullied, because my pare, butwere mostly away and people though that I don't have any.

And now my parents are mostly taking care of my younger sister, they only make sure that I'm alive. I didn't get good grades, but my parents didn't mind. Now I'm in Sakura High School in Soul it's actually not that bad, my grades are still the same but I have friends now!

"Hye-Lin where are you?" Na-Yeon call my name from the hallway. I then looked at Na-Yeon, "Hi! I was doing the homework sorry!" I said. "Oh it's fine don't worry! Do you want to go to the cafeteria with us?" She asked me, as I replied. "Sure!" I then left the classroom and went with Na-Yeon and my friends to the cafeteria. As we sat down Hye-Young started saying something. "Did you heard that a monster killed 4 people last week?"

Then another girl joined in "Yeah I heard they still didn't catch the monster... It actually gives me goosebumps." All of us nodded. I then said, "Did any of you ever saw a monster." All of them look confused and shocked their heads. "Well I heard that it actually looks like a human, but it has purple, blue or green things on the skin" I said as I finished eating my lunch. "That must look so disgusting!" "Yeah!" Thank god there are patrols I though. "Hey I'm going for some fresh air I'll see you next class" I waved. "Alright Hye-Lin see you later!"

They all said goodbye, I then placed the lunch tray onto the place to kitchen and walked out of the cafeteria through the back door. There weren't any people, It was kind of weird because around this time students from 8 year gather around here. So I then waled futher and saw a person in black clothes, they had some weird green things on them but I couldn't see much as they were in the shadow. They then started to rush and strike me, but before they could do it a person dresses also in black suddenly spawns before me and striked the monster.

The monster is still alive, they then grunts a bit as they rushed towards the person before me. The man or who it is grabs they sword and aims it towards the monster. The monster then slowly falls to the ground in two piece. The man then spawns a levitating tablet as they said: "New, class XS" The tablet then disappears and the man turns to me. He observed my body as he was looking for something. "Uh.…May I help you?" I asked him. He then walked towards me "Can you show me your arm." He said in a cold voice. I showed him the arm as I don't want any problems.

When I showed it to him,, I saw a 3 green dots on the arm. He stood there confusedly. "How is she still alive..." He said under his breath. "What?" I looked at him, he has short black hair, he had glasses, and a black coat. "You got marked ,, but you are not in pain nor dead. I'll have to call a special ambulance and my team. Please don't go anywhere." He said as the tablet again spawnIn frontnt of him. He then held his ear and said, "Send someone to clean this mess, also a special unit ambulance and researchers." He then removed the hand from his ear. After about 8 minutes the ambulance and everything else arrived.

I then walked with the man to the front gate of the school as the students were already outside wondering what happened. I only saw police some weird people in white suits, then some researchers, and security coming to the places where I just came from. "Here they are" The man said as he showed me to the people in the ambulance, but before I could walk forward to the ambulance my legs stopped walking, and I fell to the ground. "W-whats happening-" I said as some tears fell to the ground. Then the man rushed towards me with the doctors, my eyes suddenly felt heavy and after that I fainted. Before I fainted the man caught me, I only saw his dark blue eyes.

When I woke up, I found myself in a hospital room, I just saw the IV drip, and heard beeping from a machine. My body felt so weak so that I could barely move. Once I opened my eyes fully, I heard footsteps from outside the room, and after that the door opened. The man who catchedcaughtore I fainted walked in looking at me with no reaction. "Finally you're awake, it took you good 3 days, since you're awake let me do a quick examination on the arm." He then came closer and hold my arm as he scanned it with his tablet. He then looked at the tablet and said: "

Alright the wound looks much better, after you'll be dressed you can leave, just push the cyan button when you'll be ready." He then left closing the door.

After I dressed up, I pushed the cyan button as a guard came in a went with me to the main door, when I left the building he then immediately closed the door and went back in. "Finally out" I stretched as I wondered, "Wait I nearly forgot, my friends. I think that they will have a lot of questions." As I then walked my way home I suddenly got hallucinations, it was something to the red string of fate again. So I immediately went to an alley and stayed there until it stopped. The hallucination was weird. I saw a man in historical clothes with a woman, I couldn't see their faces but, I knew that there they we're lowers, but they both got stabbed.

As I then left the alley, I took a deep breath as I continued my way home. When I was home my mother said, "Hyelin! I got so scared when I heard you got bitten! Are you alright now?" She asked me curiously as she put her hands on my shoulders. "Don't worry mom, I'm all fine now, look even the mark disappeared." I showed my arm to my mom, I could saw that she's relieved. "Alright then, make sure to still rest!" She said when I got in my room. I then opened my laptop and saw that I had a lot of unread messages. It was from the friend group.

Nayeon: 'Did all of you heard? Hyelin got bitten!'

Hyeyoung: 'Yeah I heard it too! I hope she's fine!'

Sooha: 'Same!'

Hyelin: 'Guys I'm fine done worry'

Nayeon: 'OMG! Hyelin how are you?'

Sooha: 'Yeah tell us!'

Hyeyoung: 'How did the monster looked?'

Hyelin: 'Oh I'm much better, I will go to school tomorrow don't worry! And the monster had some weird green areas on him, but some guy showed up and took care pf him'

Nayeon: 'You mean the guy that catched you? He was so,

Nayeon&Sooha&Hyeyoung: 'Hot'

Hyelin: 'Oh please'

Sooha: 'He was so tall'

Hyeyoung: 'The dark hair and the blue eyes'

Nayeon: 'And the muscular body~'

Hyelin: 'Please he's so cold-hearted, I have no clue how you could say something like that about him'

Sooha: 'Alright guys, see ya tomorrow at school!'

All: 'Goodnight!'

[NEXT DAY]

I woke up kind of early, I was happy though, I didn't had any dreams of the string of fate, plus I was going to school after some days! Meeting my friends again. "Bye mom!" I said as I left the house. When I arrived at school I already saw my friends looking at me. "Hyelin!" They said as they rushed to hug me. "We missed you!" They hug me tightly. "I-I can't b-brea-". Before I could finish the sentence they got back. "Sorry!" They giggled.

Everyone's attention was on me, because of the incident that happened some days ago. But then the teacher walked in and started the leecture which saved me a bit.
