Chapter,1
I always seemed to get lost in my head overthinking as I'd watch the cars and the people go by
So many endlessly possibilities that had started to drown me within my own head
Random thoughts popping into my head like that of a director writing lines for the characters in a movie
Though I was simply waiting to cross the street, I had already imagined myself in a situation I knew could never happen
"What would I do if I it were suddenly an apocalypse?"
"If I was could fly"
"Or if I suddenly teleported into another dimension...?"
Sometimes I'd think so hard,...
That at a point, I would actually believe it happened
I Took a glance at the timer that would hover above me every time I would cross this street...
Glowing so pretty...
It always brought so many memories
...10 seconds for the light to go red. Then I'd have to wait again
It was already 6pm, I had nowhere I needed to get rush too
I still needed to get home quick though
One foot in front of the other
I had already crossed halfway
But my feet refused to go any further
My legs not wanting to move
My eyes pleading; Begging. "Someone please come help me"
1 Second and people were filming
The last thing I remembered was a truck rushing towards me
Too big to notice a small being...
... Who was now seconds away from doom
I'm sure it happened within seconds, but the Tank Truck seemed to be approaching me ever so slowly, like it was asking for permission to move further
And yet it was going to fast for me to even scream
Or flinch
And I still couldn't move
The beautiful streets that would always glow as the lights would come on a bit before 6 o'clock
I loved how it glittered... Especially at night
I would always roam around the shops nearby and sit on a bench as I'd gaze at the beautiful city lights
It brought back so many good memories
But the Streets...
Didn't look so special anymore
All the thoughts in my head slowly begun to dissipate
Like smoke slowly vanishing into the cruel cold air
That wouldn't let my mother's plants grow
She'd always get mad as she watched they all die
But those were only my thoughts.

I couldn't believe my eyes
Just now... I was as good as gone
I sat up straight examining my surroundings
White walls, and the distinctly strong smell of medicine
An IV fluid stood towering over me...

I watched as The fluid slowly dropped into the tube
It reminded me of the days I'd stay home during a storm and couldn't go play with my friends...I would cry because of it. I hated the rain

Chapter 2
Now I sat tied up in backseat of this dude's car as a result of me trying to tackle him and escape

My name's not Lucinda you know!

By now, I'd already realized
This very impudent guy that now had me held hostage was nothing like me

But he just eyed me, giving me another cold stare, parked the car, and left
He was gone for a really long time and during the couple hours he was absent, I managed to get rid of the rope that bound my hands together

*He probably didn't do a very good job tying me up*
I did try escaping, but nothing I tried worked
Not even the windows gave in
So I just sat there; bored
Vera
*She must've really wronged him for him to hate me like this*
I was so clueless back then
After a while I saw him walking over to the car
I quickly put my hands behind my back and rest myself against the car seat to make it look as if I was tied up still
He looked even more pissed than before as he got into the black car he drove
I was probably supposed to be hating him right now, but I couldn't help but ask
He ignored me for a while till he responded

I don't know what she did
I expected him to put a gag on me now, but he didn't even look back. He just drove
Chapter 3
I wonder how my body was able to find enough comfort and peace for me to sleep considering the fact I was being held captive
I'd already planned an escape; a smooth plan to run out of the house. I just needed my hands to be "tied" once he left me alone somewhere

*Well that didn't work.*
Vera
*Now I'm awake, In a room I have no idea how I got into*
I sat alone in a corner with my hands and feet bound (again)
Floor boards creaking as unfamiliar footsteps approached the door
The doors flung open as the mystery person waltzed in

What're you doing in my room!?
I had as many answers as I did questions but I said nothing
He walked over to me and stared at me
Almost as cold as Mr. Kidnapper did when I first met him

Think you can untie me?
I thought I was going to die
I already knew that wherever I was, it was earth
I said with the sweetest smile my face could muster
He did take off the rope,

My attempts of dodging him quickly failed as he grabbed my hair and pushed me back unto the floor
I screamed rubbing my backside
I still have no idea where he got it from or why he did it but he shot me a dirty look and pointed a gun at me
I knew I was being kidnapped cause he thought I was his thief-ex-girlfriend but you normally wouldn't want to kill your ex.
(lol sorry just had to put that there)
(but can we please have a moment to appreciate how beautiful she's??)
Then the same hand was extended towards me once more
