At the Airport

She sat staring out waiting for her flight to board. She was Pleased. This is exactly what she always wanted a break from her modeling career. Jewel!! How could you?!!. A girl yelled while running towards her. With heavy breaths the girl stopped running and stopped in front of her. The lady offered her some water and laughed saying. Jezelle did you run all the way here to bid me Goodbye?!!. Jewel I’m your sister you should tell me if you’re taking a break from your career!! And mom said you both had an argument what was it about?!! Jewel stared at her sister who was still trying to catch her breath from the long distance she just ran. She pulled her close into an Embrace. I really want you an mom to be happy. But I also want to live a little so I’m just taking a week off to Paris as a breather okay?! Happy now! Jezelle stared at her elder sister she was happy that at least she is also thinking about herself. And what was your argument with mom about?! She asked. You know the usual marriage and stuff but I told her I will at my will. My flight will soon start boarding you should get going love you. Jewel said and bent to pick her bag when her sister held her hand and said. I always want you to be happy you know that right?! Don’t listen to mom love at your own pace. And I’ll always love you. They hugged Jewel with teary eyes was touched to see her baby sister act so mature.

Flight Creamson to Paris will be boarding in 30 minutes.

You be good okay? Don’t get on mom’s nerves and tell her I love her. Also don’t sleep over at your Girlfriend’s house you’ll make mom worry. Jewel instructed. Yeah yeah. I’ve heard now you go to france and have fun. Also try find a hot man you can hook up with okayyy. Jezelle replied as she winked at her sister. They both laughed as Jezelle picked her sister’s bag and walked her to the checkpoint. They hugged. And Jewel walked away leaving Jezelle feeling proud of her sister. Jezelle knew this was a bold step for her sister her sister wasn’t timid or shy but when it came to their mom she was overly selfless and she was happy that for once her sister put herself first. Now she knew she had a word to go tell her Mom.

Jewel sat in the plane and thought about all she has been through all her work how she survived in the modeling industry and also with her mom and sister especially after her father’s demise. She was grateful for how far she had gotten. Now she taking a break she brought out her diary to write down place she will visit on this trip. There will be no internet or phone just her and the beauty of France. She then remembered what her sister said about hooking up with a guy and she shrugged she didn’t think she could do that she might be overly bold and the most iconic model but when it comes to intimacy she hated it. She agreed internally that she will just enjoy the art and food majorly the food she chuckled.
