It was supposed to be a bright day, but the dense forest of the northeast part of city X was dark and dull.
The only light source ; sun was hiding behind the black rain clouds, turning the midday to dusk.
Within the dense forest was a large abandoned factory that was said to be a major manufacturer of car engines in the late 90s but was later abandoned as the branch shifted.
Now, the factory was slowly blending with the mother nature. Although small shrubs grew from the crack, the building itself seemed to be in good condition.
There are rumours circulating that people have been seen entering and exiting the factory, and some that entered never returned.
Despite such rumours, the government declared the factory a prohibited jone for civilians' safety , 'frequent engines rupture' was the stated reason.
🗣[Sksk...Code 0214... The target is confirmed... Approaching in 20 seconds... counting now.. ]

The camouflaged man crouched hiding within the tall trees of the hill's peak, positioning himself better with his Barrett 182 ; a marksman riffle.
Positioned, the man peered through the scope, locating his target immediately approaching along the roads of the forest.
The rifle's pointer followed the line of sight of the man: It stopped right on the small red box on the edge of a bridge 50 meters away
The strange, isolated bridge was the only entrance for the abandoned car factory, seemly run downed and old at glance, but was sturdy to be used for another decade.
A big red lorry was speeding towards the bridge.
🗣[Code green... Target approaching in... 3...2...1...0]
The sniper shot his bullet on the red box instantly at the counter.
The bridge blew with a bang, a small shockwave followed with the wind, red flames grew, and the dark clouds grew even darker.
[Today, at 12:46 p.m., at the northwest forest of city X , an ear numbing explosion was heard by the nearby residents, which brought a small shockwave of 2.0 rector and a gust of wind along with a mushroom cloud which spread nearly 5 meters from the explosion. ]
[Although the fire is under control, the cause of the explosion is still unknown. Many outlookers have predicted that it was caused by the old engine's remains from the nearby abandoned car factory. While investigating reports suggesting it might be caused by the fuel leakage of the truck, which spanned nearly 2 meters from the bridge. ]

The room fell into silence as both men had nothing else to share. But the silence wasn't the awkward between boss and subordinate but a peaceful silence between long-time friend.
A few minutes to an hour later , the blond from the two spoke clearing his throat.

The room was filled with another row of silence.
One was silently reviewing documents for his boss to sigh while the other was silently in agony, cursing his friend in his heart.
How could the boss of the nighthowls not have bl00d in his hand for a month!? It was outrageous demand.
The phone suddenly rang, breaking the silence.
