Fragment of Memories

(CHIIING.... BANG... #^^c#$#$ ..............BOOOOM)

The sound of destructions are everywhere, swords, spear, and different weapons are clashing with powers that gave the world a scene of nearing destructions...

Standing in the middle of war, a young man in his 20s was looking at the young girl with a celestial face and cold bearing aura. With his eyes he looked at the girl in the world where all of the races are in the midst of chaos, a war that will leads for both sides to the path of emptiness and fighting that bears pain and suffering. The young man stared in the eyes of the girl, her eye's pupils are painted with the color of ruby with tears falling in her cheek...

Facing to each other, the young man suddenly vomit a mouthful blood that scatter in the air. in his chest a legendary sword pierced right in his heart.. trembling by the sudden pain he tightly hold the spear in his hand and throw it in the middle of bright red light where the young man's race source of power is located...

(BOOOOM....THUUUUG.)

A blasting noise can be heard in all the corners of the said world. Afterwards the power that the race in white armors had vanished and silence filled the entire place, and all of the races stopped fighting within a certain time, puzzle by the sudden event...

The girl clad in black suit armor realized what was happening.. tears flowing down from her eyes looking at the young man's devastating condition.. her hand was trembling holding the legendary sword that pierced in the young man's chest.

"Haa.. I never thought this is very painful." said the young man gasping from the pain in his chest

"You... Wh.. Why?" ask the girl.

"Live on... You should not carry all the burdens... let me share it with you" said the man while caressing the face of the girl wiping her tears...

"Thank you" the only words that the girl can think in response

"do you regret meeting me in this life?" ask the girl suddenly.

"No...... I.. I.. only regret that my love was insufficient to help you.. that I can't change your choice... that... that I can't make you happy in this lifetime.. by knowing it I guess I only have one option .."

"I see.." struggled by her emotions the girl uttered a weak response..

Seeing the man in front of her slowly turning to dust

she hugged the man tightly embracing him filled with care. She once again look at him and saw a smiling face as if he accomplished a certain mission completely. Tears continued flowing in her eyes..

"Haa.. if were given another chance..... do you still want to cross our path and meet me again?" ask the young man in weak voice.

"Yes.. if we have it I still want to meet you" the girl replied.

"Well I guess that if that ever happen you will become my woman.... if that ever happen I will make sure you don't have a choice but to become mine.. hehe.. " weak laugh from the young man.

"Sure.." sobbing voice of the girl.. " I promise to become your woman who will support you in whatever path and choice you make"

"Remember... your.. oath.." the young man gently kiss the girl then completely turn to dust and vanished...

Darkness... a complete darkness covered the whole consciousness and with a flash of bright light memories filled the entire area. Luis Grimaldi opened his eyes and with a sudden burst of memories his head ached for about 15 minutes.. slowly integrating the (memories) dream he becomes aware of his surrounding, he looked at his surrounding and saw that he was lying in poor bed made of wood and was placed in poor house. Base on the walls in his surrounding, the house seems to be old base on the marks and cracks within the wall.

Sitting up his bed he realize his face were wet due to tears in his eyes, he suddenly remenber the scence back then but he did not know whether it was a dream or memory. Base on his understanding it was probably a dream because he knew that he live as Luis for 15 years, he even remember the accident yesterday that gave him a fatal wound in his chest. Yesterday with his cousins they venture to the forest and hunt for the materials needed in making a star energy pill to be given as  a betrothal gift to his fiancee. But he never knew that they will encounter a demonic black wolf in their way, they tried to fight it but it was strong, leaving no choice his cousins leaved him and ran away, as result of him he reciving the max blow of demonic black wolf that gave him fatal wound.

Remembering the scene he suddenly looked at his chest and check but to his surprise he saw that not only there was no wound but he also saw a black rune mark in his chest. The rune mark looked like an insignia of something. He did not know what it was so he shifted his attention and disregarded it.

"What a luck.. never would I imagine that they leave me there.. that fucking Leon..." Leon Grimaldi is one of his cousins son of his third uncle Thomas Grimaldi.. He knew that this Leon would plot to him but he never imagine that he did it at that time..

Luis was the son of Alban Grimaldi second son Grimaldi noble family clan. In the Country of Greenvalley there are 4 cities namely Woodman city, Red jade city, Knightingale city and Ancient Bow city. The Gimaldi clan was one of 3 reigning family in Red Jade city located at the northwest of it. The Grimaldi Clan, Wettins Clan and  Garcia Clan represents authority and protection for the city. These three clans, in the eyes of commoners were close and friends to each other but the three clan knew themselves the power struggle, competition and plot with each other.

Luis walk out of the room and headed to the garden, in that place he saw a woman in her late 20s standing alone and watching the fishes swimming in the pond in the garden.

"You have awaked" said the woman named Fatum without looking at him. Fatum came into his life when he was 8 years old, he did not know where this woman came from all he knew that this woman suddenly appear in his life. The first time he saw her was when he was in the Fork river in the east side of the city. He saw her on the side of the river unconscious so he took her and she became sort of a guardian. He knew that Fatum was strong and possibly at the pick of cultivation world.

The world where Luis was living composes of 3 great continents namely, The Great East Continent, Black Mound Continent and Top South Sea Continent. The country of Green Valley was one of twenty seven countries in the Black Mount Continent. In this world all of the continents, countries, and cities was reigned by the path of cultivation. In the cultivation realm, cultivators was divided by nine realms such as Matial Cadet realm, Martial Officer realm, Matial General realm, Martial Commander realm, Matial King realm, Matial Soul realm, Matial Earth realm, Martial Sky realm, God realm. These realms were further divided by nine stages.

Luis knew the world he live in as a son within the noble family he understand the role of Monarchy. Kings conquer and continue to expand their territories giving birth to unending war.  Cultivators fill the battlefield resulting in fast and destructive war.

The Banquet

"what how is that possible? he did not die how lucky? " - Leon shouted at one of his subordinate.

"Young Noble, we did not know what happened but we made sure that in that forest he will die.. " - Aisha

"well, even if he's alive we can make sure that their engagement will break, I'm sure that almost all of the elders are approved with it ." - Leon pondering something.. " make sure that the bottle of powder attracting beast will be found in Shaina's  place"

How is it possible Luis is still alive but I clearly saw that he was knock at his chest that deep wound to heal is something not possible for Stage 8 of Martial officer Realm.. Leon was pondering.

Late night at the banquet several nobles began to gather at the center of palace hall, there, a place wide with several layers like mausoleum of early roman empire was the theme. At  front right side of the stage, the musician joyfully played country song of the  GreenVally Empire. Several nobles began to gather, socializing, negotiating and gossiping around the area, clearly the hottest topic is about the war of Greenvally empire and Dessertminx empire at the south valley of metropolis, a boundary of the two empires.

And yes, the star of that battle is Erik Miller, the crown prince of the empire. With his talent, battle skill, commanding skills and looks one can say he is the prince charming of most of the princesses and young women in the empire. Due to his command in the ambush and pincer attack, the Dragonwolves Battalion successfully claim the south valley where the Acacius Dynasty Ancient Ruins is said to be located.

Ancient Ruins are one of several mysterious place in this world. People can search the so called "Ancient Bloodline" of several extinct   species, and by ritual one can have a powerful bloodline that enhance the physiques. People with enhance physiques are talents nurtured by the empire wholly upgrading the strength of empire.

Luis surveyed the surrounding eying his childhood friend and fiancee Peyton sitting in the table of the Wettins Clan, Peyton was remarkable for her elegant beauty, and with her white dress she is stunning. Luis and Peyton are engaged by the promise of their parents. Remebering the past, Luis can't help but smile about the girl that always acting cool but in reality crybaby girl. He always act like a shining knight and save her from the bully within her family. Peyton is the daughter of Mau Wettins, third elder of the Wettins clan, due to power struggle and the death of her mother Anna Wettins, Mau was pushed down by his brothers in the power struggle of the family and Peyton was also affected resulting in the sarcasm and bullying of other children in the family.

"Thank you for your warm response in tonight's banquet" -King Luther Miller announced in the whole area. " In tonight's gathering we are going to consolidate our battle in conquering the south valley"...." We won the fight and now we will have additional strength in our empire for acquiring the Acacius Dynasty Ancient Ruins"... For our next project I hereby announce the commence of the empire's expedition in the ancient ruins, for the details, General Siff will explain" then the king walked out in the place.

Various gossips and flattery was heard in the palace hall. The expedition, according to General Siff Autumn will composed of top individuals at the Martial General Realm, in this coming  spring the wide battle competitions of young individuals will happened. All of the participants should be at the martial general ream and the top 50 pairs will go to the ancient ruins.

Luis was excited about this news but suddenly his excitement turn into solemnity. Now he was thinking on how he will reach the Martial General Real in this three  months. Thinking this a wry smile was seen on his face. In the past Luis is a prodigy, a talent with high comprehension among his peers, he easily won every battle of clans. With great care among the elders he received top cultivation materials that help him in his cultivation. But when he turn seven, his cultivation became slower at the point the he needed great amount of time and efforts for his breakthrough. He didn't know what happened but in  summary the prodigy became trash.

Walking out, Luis meets Peyton in the garden of the palace. "Hey, what will you in this coming Battle in spring? " Peyton asked him.

"Well, as always I will do much effort to be qualified in that battle"- Luis

"are you sure you can achieve the Martial General realm in this battle?" Peyton ask with a bitter smile in her face.

"Believe in me, as I always say, with great efforts one can achieved what he wants" with a smile Luis replied.

"Okay then, but in this coming three months I like to both of us practice together"- Peyton

" is it okay for you to do that? is your situation progressing?"- Luis asked

"we do have progress in the power struggle in the family, my father was now recovering several territories in the east forest, also, we are gathering several men for the formation of new battalion under my father. but because of that my 2nd uncle is pressured and is now forming a connection with the royal family. I know the position of my father, one wrong move we will be thrown out." Peyton

"what about the investigation of your mother's death?" Luis  suddenly asked.

" About that, we did not progress, it seems the matter regarding my mother's death is the conspiracy of a powerhouse more powerful that the Wettins clan." Peyton replied in teary eye.

"Hmm, Don't worry time will come when we will know the truth. I will help you" - Luis

"By the way here" Peyton gave him an ******.

"What is this" Luis asked.

"that will be the medium for calling my master, I ask him to help you in this coming three months, he will help you in your problem"- Peyton

"I thought we will be practicing together?" - Luis

" I will be late for one month, there are several things that I need to do first so be mind my master he is somewhat strict" - Peyton

" Hey, don't worry to much, I know you are trying everything for the justice of your mother" Luis

" Thank you" Peyton replied while waving and waking out from the garden.

Seeing the beautiful figure walking out, Luis remembered the face of Peyton on the day of her mother's death. Her face was so sad and one can say that she wants to commit suicide. she loves her mother very much to the point that every words of her mother was deeply engrave in her heart.

At that time Luis promised to himself to help her for her mother's justice.
