A group of teenagers who's having a good night out saw a strange person coming to their way.

"Hey, what's up? Are you lost?"

One guy from the group ask the strange girl. The girl lifted her head and immediately attacked the guy who reached her out.

The other teenagers got shocked. All they can do was to watch their friend being attacked by the unknown creature and die.

The girl then threw the dead body of the guy on the side. Faced the others and started to attacked and kill the group.

Brutally and bloody. She left the place with an indecent scene and foul odor because of the blood spilled all over the place.

"A group of teenagers having their night out got attacked by an unknown killer. According to the investigators, they couldn't think if the killing was made by human or animal. But they are sure that the kill was not intended by some enemies of the group."

"The place of the scene really reeks a very foul odor because of the blood spilled all over the place. The bodies are all wounded and the most suspicious part is that they all have the two bite mark on their neck."

"Some think that the killer is a snake because of the bite mark but then, according to the experts in studying snakes. They have no tendency of killing that way. Bitting might be but the way the group of teenagers was killed is probably not a work of some snakes."

"We are together last night. I am conducting experiment to her."

I smiled.

I can hear excitement in mom's voice. I smiled.

Now, my mom is crying because of sadness.

I hang up the call and leaned on my swivel chair.

'I don't know what to feel anymore. I am happy because after 10 years, I already healed my sister. I am bothered because of the news. And I am bothered about my case. It's getting more and more complicated. My blood type is getting more and more unique that it is hard to make an antidote that will be compatible enough to make me human.'

I went towards the bed where my sister is lying.

"You're now fine, sis. I am very happy for you. You can finally live a normal life."

A tear drop from my eyes. Finally, I spared her from cruelty.

My phone rang. An unknown message popped up in my phone screen.

I opened the message.

My forehead crease. Who the hell is this? Maybe a frank message? Yeah. I ignored the message and checked all the machines that are connected on my sister's body and datas.

"Are we really going back to our house?"

I smiled at my sister. She woke up last two days and fully recovered her energy now.

"Yes, I will give you a ride home. I'll leave afterwards."

My sister came near and hug me.

I smiled and hugged her back.

"Then live your life to the fullest sis. That's how I want you to pay me back."

She sobs. She's crying for me.

"I love you more sis. I am very happy to spare you from this kind of fate."

I am hugging her so tight, comforting her, when my phone rang.

"Hello, mom?"

"Are you going back here today?"

"Yes mom. We're on our way there."

I tapped my sister's shoulder and motion her to go inside the car. She nodded. I went inside the driver's seat and started to drive.

"I am excited to see both of you."

"Thank you mom."

"No, thank you Kholleen, for doing your very best for the sake of your sister. We owe you a lot."

"No need to thank me mom. It's my responsibility to take care of my sister."

"I love you sweetheart. We love you."

"I love you too mom. I'll hang up now. I'm driving. Do you wanna talk to Kiesha?"

"Can I sweetheart? Take care of driving."

"I will mom. I'll give the phone to Kiesha."

I gave my sister the phone and they talk a lot while I'm driving. I don't know but I am very happy today. Happy for my family.

After sometime, we are near the checkpoint. After passing the tight checkpoint, we drove for some minutes more to reach the house.

"Mom! Dad! Lil' bro!"

Kiesha genuinely called our parents and brother. I smiled and roamed the place. There's a lot of eyes looking at our way. Though they are hiding their selves, I can still sense them. I went inside the house.

"Welcome back!"

I laughed. They have this surprise welcome party for the both of us.

"Welcome home sweetheart, come let's eat. I prepared something for you."

My mom went near and hug me. She lead me to the kitchen.

"Big sis!"

"Lil' brother! Wow, you grew so fast!"

My little brother went near and hug me tight.

"I miss you big sis. Are you going to stay here for good?"

"Sorry to say this bro but no, I'll go back to my house later."

"Why don't you stay here for a week? Or a month? Or a year maybe?"

I looked at my dad smiling at me. I immediately run towards him and give him a tight hug.

I want to cry but then I don't want them to be worried about me.

"A week will do dad. I want to stay here with you for good but I have to work for my research."

"Let's eat, food will cool down."

We went to the dining hall and eat. I am serving my sister and brother their food.

"Eat all you want sis. You can digest all of that now."

I shifted my attention to my brother.

"You too lil' brother. You have to eat more nutritious food."

"I will big sis."

I smiled and patted his head.

"Good."

I went back to my seat and watched them.

"Now, we're jealous of them because you're serving them while not us."

I chuckled upon hearing what my mom said. So I stood up and serve them their food.

"Here you go."

Mom amd Dad thanked me afterwards. As for my food, I am just drinking blood from animals. That's all I need to eat.

It is like vampirism. But different.

After eating dinner, we parted ways because we will head to our own room.

"Big sis, let's go shopping tomorrow. Let's take a walk and jog. I want to feel the warmth of the sunlight."

I smiled at my sister. She hasn't been under the sun ever since becausw her body is resisting the sunlight. But I am not.

I messed up her hair and walks towards my room.

I closed my door and lie on the bed.

I smiled. It's almost 6 pm and we decided to take a walk. It's been so long from the last time I took a walk here.

She just nodded and nervously walks by my side. We passed the check point but then all the poeple in our front suddenly hide theirselves. I immediately hide my sister in my arms when I heard gunshots.

I can feel it, bullets fiercing in my back.

"Big sis."

We are now sitting in the middle of the road. The gunshot is continuously firing.

My sister is looking at me, crying.

"Are you alright?"

I asked her. I checked her body if she got shot. I sigh in relief when I see nothing even a scratch. I smiled at her.

"Here. Hold this. I made this device, it is a bulletproof shield. Go back to our house. Do you understand me? Go back and don't leave the house. I'll be back."

"Big sis, you're shot. M\-multiple times. What are you going to do?"

I smiled at her. We are now inside a shield. I activated it after I got shot.

"My body can endure this for some time. But you're not. You're now a human sis."

My sister cried. I can feel blood running down my head and mouth. I smiled at her and hug her.

I stood up after giving her a kiss on her forehead. Another shot fierce my flesh. I am bleeding all over my body.

I faced those men pointing their guns at me. They stopped firing their guns. I smiled at them.

"I would not hurt you the way you hurt me and my sister. Killing a person without further investigation. Doesn't it be considered as a crime too?"

"But you're not human. You and your sister, or even your family."

I laughed.

"Yeah, I am not a human. But my family is. Tsk. Why do I have to explain to you? You're all just a dog following orders of mindless higher ups."

"How dare a monster like you insulted the officials."

I received a shot again in my chest. I sigh. There are lots of blood below me. I will die anyway. I look at them. Focused my mind and connect to their minds. I then erased their memories of this commotion.

They all black out after it. I covered my mouth with my hand to stop blood from rushing out.

I gasp for breath.

"Hah, it really does suck up my energy."

I looked at the place. All people here in the scene black out. They will lose their memories of this crime. I need to erase the case and alter the memories of everyone who knew the crime that happened here. And clean the name of my family.

I stood up and do all the things that I must do. It takes a lot of time to do everything.

I am now walking towards our house. Forcing my body to endure the pain fotr some time more. I knocked on the door. It immediately opened.

"Oh my god."

My mom gasp and dad immediately assist me to enter the house.

"D\-don't close your eyes sweetheart, we will do everything to heal you."

I smiled and stop them.

"I am fine mom, dad."

I looked at my family. My mom, dad, lil' brother and sis. A tear fell from my eyes.

"Everything is fine now. I altered and cleaned everything. I successfully made it. Mom, dad. I did it, right? You can now live with freedom."

They are crying.

"Ssshhh... Don't cry, you did it. You did very well. Rest for now. I will take all the bullets out in your body."

I shook my head. They just look at me, tears flowing from their eyes.

"Big sis..."

I hugged and kissed my brother and sister.

"I love you. I love you both."

They are crying so loud. Then I went to my parents.

"Mom, dad."

I hugged them so tight. And kissed them too.

"I am your daughter, right?"

"Yes, yes, you are our beloved daughter. We love you so much."

I cried even more. Blood still dripping down from my mouth.

I stepped backwards and looked at them, smiling.

"I will end everything here. I'm so sorry. I will erase your memories too. Everything that I am involved."

"No, no sweetheart. Don't do that."

"I will give freedom to everyone."

I smiled at them for the last time before they black out. I cried my lungs out.
