Within a small town of Amity Park secrets continue to lay undiscovered. One also includes the sudden disappearance of Blaire Ali, a very stunning woman. As she had gone missing just a year after the birth of her beautiful daughter Avery who looked almost identical to her mother. Sharing the same long wavy dark maroon hair, eye catching silvery-grey eyes and beautiful smooth sandy beige skin. Ever since then the child has been under her mother's unidentical twin's watch, as they patiently waiting for her to return alive and unscathed, but we all know what really happens to those who vanish without a trace. They rarely come back alive.
It has been 2 years making the little girl 3 years old and the supposed mother 24, and still wandering about asking when her 'mama' was going to come home. And on one afternoon she was left unattended walking about the house, when seeing her uncle emerge from the door that lead to the cellar below locking it up with three locks that she could not reach.
"Unkie Kai!" she excitedly exclaimed rushing over to him as he jolted when seeing her rush over and hugged his leg like she hadn't seen him all day.
"There's my little monster. Come here!" he chuckled picking her up as she giggled seeing to harm before getting the attention of the locks of this one door he refused to let anyone inside. Her tiny little hand pointed at it getting his attention. "Sorry, muffin, but you can't go down there. It's far too dark and dangerous for you to be wandering about by yourself. A monster could come a gobble you up!" Kai said making the girl worry and hugged her uncle not wanting to be eaten by a monster, but he could just be lying to stop her from becoming curious in things she should stay far away from.
"I don't wanna be eaten!" she cried out loud as he chuckled walking away from the door heading through into the kitchen where he grabbed a cookie from the cookie jar, handing it to the child instantly settling her down.
"You always were like your mother, she adored cookies and cuddles, but sadly someone had to take her away from us. However, Uncle Kai made a promise to keep mummy's little gem safe from harm for as long as I am still walking on this Earth" Kai softly said hurting in a way when seeing similar traits within this girl that reminded him so much of his sister, and the memories they shared throughout the years together until that fateful day that took all of their happiness away, but it didn't stop him from caring for his niece in her honour.
"I miss mama" Avery spoke with her mouth full of her cookie as she leaned her head against her Uncle's shoulder saddened that she might never see her mother ever again. Kai remained silent when hearing these saddening words again and walked out of the kitchen and into the living room, he place the girl down so she can play with her toys while his eyes fixated outside of the frosty window as snow continued to fall. Christmas was creeping closer by every day that passes.
"It'll take more than a miracle to bring her back, the girl needs a mother in her life, but that can be given later on in life. As of right now I need to give my princess everything she wants before I think about taking my sister's place.. Permanently" Kai thought to himself staring at the untouched snow outside as a memory of two younger versions of himself and Blaire playing in the snow, making snowflairies, snowpeople and having snowball fights. Their giggles of fun echoed through his mind as he clenched both hands forming tight fists before suddenly turning head with a annoyed scoff trying to forget them, like they were mocking him in a way. "These memories are taunting me.. I need to get rid of them. NOW!" he thought growling to himself as he stormed off back into the kitchen, opening the fridge and pulled out a big bottle of jin. Flicking the lid off before suddenly starting to down it like it was nothing, and headed back into the living room to watch tv while Avery played with most of her toys.
On one of the days approaching christmas Kai had some guests around for dinner as he would be too busy with work during christmas and after until new years. Some of the guests made complaints about weird noises either coming from the cellar door or beneath the floorboards, but his only excuse was to say that his house was very haunted so these noises didn't bother him or Avery at all.
"So when are you going to fully adopt this little cutie?" one of the guests asked peering over at the child who appeared to be playing with one of the guest's children, she was kind enough to share her toys with them.
"I am still thinking about it. As a busy man taking care of a child who is still grieving over her own mother is a very hard job. It only hurts me everytime she asks 'when is mama coming home?'. If only I could tell her, but I don't want her to hate me" Kai replied appearing to be hurt of what Avery's reaction would be if she were to find out that her mama was dead, and isn't coming home.
"You truly are a real gentleman, Kai. Always thinking for your family before yourself, any woman would be lucky to have a man like you for a husband\~" their flirtatious response made it obvious they liked him in some way by the way they continued to play with their hair and stare at him across the table. Kai brushed his hair back knowing that the woman was married to a very wealthy man who failed to attend this fine dinner, but he also couldn't help other than feel a little risky as it has been awhile since he had become intimate with someone.
"Claire! You are a married woman, have some dignity" another woman butted that was sat beside him, a not so lucky lady who was still single, but jealous that her rich friend was having all the fun so he decided to spice things up. Kai slipped his hand under the table onto her thigh taunting her out of view before leaning in to whisper without any suspicion.
"Once your friend leaves, feel free to join me upstairs for a little fun, mi amor\~" he teased making slightly grow red around her cheeks, slowly pulling his head away from her ear and continued to eat with one hand, while the other teased down between her thighs. "Women are so easy to fool, especially the desperate ones. I wonder what he flesh tastes like?" Kai thought to himself licking his lips after biting into a juicy normal looking steak that had a oddly and yet mouth watering flavour to it.
"Mm\~ What have you ever added to this dish? I wanna know so I can make it for my husband once he comes home. He'll sure go nuts over it" Claire questioned loving the meat as Kai smirked with a quiet chuckle hiding his fangs from their view, and finished his steak.
"I only added some herd I gathered in my garden. Only the finest for my favourite guests on such a wondrous occasion" he replied not wanting to give it to them straight away, but only when they start to deplete one by one, making it easier to clean and get rid of the bodies once they're hidden from sight soon to be chopped into smaller identical chunks for more guests to devour, but only his princess gets to eat the non human meat.
Once Claire and most of the guests have left, Kai managed to persuade the poor little single lady to stay for the night as they took thing back to his bedroom where he showed her his king sized bed. They began to strip both greedy for each other's touch or is it just her? The sent of her skin drove him insane as he gulped wanting to just pounce on top and rip her apart limb by limb, but he snapped himself back to reality.
"Now that my angel is asleep, we can finally catch up on what we've both been wanting ever since your slutty friend left. Now get on the bed, I don't want to waste anymore time" he was strict and she loved it as they were both nude allowing him to crawl on top of her underneath the sheets, unaware that tonight was going to be her last night alive. His grunts and groans were loud as he continued to ****** feeling the sexual tension inside of a woman, hearing her moans of pure satisfaction as she held onto his shoulders not expecting sex to feel so good. Kai began to feel his mouth starting to water craving for something fresh, warm and delicious and glanced down at the woman who was enjoying every inch of his **** as he continued to pound deep into her *****. "I am unsure how long I can hold myself back.. Her scent is driving me insane" he thought with a growl closing his eyes not seeing the reaction his body was making, the set of sharp canine fangs came through along with his claws the closer became open his mouth wide before suddenly striking for her throat. She gasp failing to scream for help when feeling his teeth dig into her windpipe hearing the sounds of her gasping and gurgling as blood began to leak internally down into her lungs, slowly suffocating her to death while he still went at it. Once her hands went limp and heart stopped beating he climaxed inside knowing she wasn't going to be alive to carry his child, but it didn't matter as she was already his next target anyway unsuitable to truly carry his offspring.
He pulled his fangs back hovering down her lifeless body in mid transformation, Kai pulled out crawling out of his bed and grabbed a red robe before tying it around his ***** body as he walked to the dead woman's side of his bed. He took one more glance at her body until throwing it over his shoulder and headed downstairs towards the cellar door, unlocking it as he closed the door behind him as he descended down the stairs. Nothing could be heard down in the cellar until hours later once Kai reemerged without the body in sight, locking it shut once again in hopes no one could come and knock on his door about the disappearance of Claire's friend, but even when Police came just days after nothing appeared off in his lullaby as he made up an excuse saying she left an hour after Claire, forcing Avery to agree with him having no idea of what exactly her uncle did that night while she slept undisturbed.
"Have a good day, sir. We will let you know if we hear anything" the officer said as they left his house without any other questions, while he held Avery who waved the cops goodbye before Kai shut the door stopping the warmth from escaping and put her back down as she rushed off to play, giving him the break he needed to think of what he should come up next as a cover up incase the clues lead back to him. What exactly is he? And does he store their bodies in the basement? Or is there something more sinister happening down there?
On the day before Christmas Avery was being babysitted by one of Kai's friend called Vlad and he was having the Fenton family over for dinner along with the girl present who instantly took their hearts with her cute little smiles.
"Don't mind the little angel, I'm just babysitting her for a friend of mine while he's out of town for a few days" Vlad said to the Fentons as they headed inside along with some presences he wished never tagged along. A taller and much more bulky and muscular man with long fair skin, black hair with a goatee and blue eyes, as he wore a black shirt, black jeans, belt, fingerless gloves and combat boots. He wasn't exactly happy to be hear silently glaring at Vlad as he walked inside going to one place and that was the library.
Avery was immediately intrigued by this new and instantly went after him as a crack in the library was left, allowing her to slip inside as he could be seen walking about trying to find something to pass the time, despite the little footsteps staggering from behind.
"Big bear" Avery called out as he jolted spinning around as he glanced down spotting the little child peering up at him in awe. His head looked open and glanced around unsure of what to do, as she came forward and pulled her arms up doing some grabbing gestures with her hands wanting to be picked up. "Up, up" she asked as he sighed before crouching down and lifting Avery up as she sat on his lower left arm while he continued to find a book.
"Why is this puny child pestering me?" he thought not really sure how deal with a little kid of this age or any for that matter, but she seemed to be pretty chill and stayed quiet without putting up a fuss a somewhat odd way a child should be acting. However, a ghost like essence came through triggering him to keep his mind on guard for anything suspicious or could possibly harm this innocent child, but when she glanced over his shoulder an image of something passing through some of the library bookshelves like it failed to do what most entities did best, to hide from the ***** eye.
"Avery.." a voice silently whispered sounding desperate causing both himself and Avery to turn and search around somewhat drawn to this voice, like it was calling out nearby, but nothing could be found.
"Mama.." Avery muttered instantly becoming overly emotional as tears started to make a presence building up from her eyes as he slowly began to panic, unsure of what to do hearing her starting to sob and cry for the one thing she knows won't come to her aid.
"Was that..? No, it can't be" he thought quickly trying to settle Avery who began to quietly mutter 'mama' clearly distraught and won't easy calm down without them, but even he know it was impossible unless their ghost is still traveling around somewhere searching for their child. "You sick ****" he muttered suddenly reaching out grabbing something within his grasps keeping Avery's face hidden in his chest. "Who are you?" he growled as his eyes turned red revealing those sharp ghostly fangs at whoever was stuck in his tight neck breaking grip, but they were struggling to mutter a single word. This unseeable figure quickly came into view, a smaller less muscular ghost like male with light orange skin, fiery spiky yellow hair and jasper coloured eyes before starting to tap on his arm wanting him to at least loosen his grip a little, and he did still making it impossible for this one to wiggle away. "Speak!" he growled again maintaining his intimidating appearance.
"The name is Felix and I'm just here to keep an eye on Avery for Kai while he's away to ensure that the old man is actually properly caring to her every need!" the intruder spoke their piece allowing him to be released, but it didn't make allow this stranger to come closer to the child in any way or he'll be thrown out either by the walls, windows or doors. "Your kind isn't usually welcomed from where I am from, so be careful on the next ghost you decide to grab by their neck. They might turn you into a pretzel" Felix added in a rather cocky tone as if warning him, but he wasn't exactly scared of whoever this next watcher is going to be. He will take down all who try to get in his way, let alone torment a child who is still suffering over the loss of their mother.
"I don't care, now go before I decide to turn your insides out and wear them like a sweater. As if I hear anyone else mimic this child's mother's voice I will rip out not only the windpipe, but their voice box too" he threatened starting to make his way towards Felix who started to stumble back before vanishing through the nearest wall giving the two some silence once more, without anyone to disturb them. "Who the heck even was that guy? He doesn't appear to be like the others, it was like he was alive in someway, but I can't exactly put my finger on it" he thought for a while keeping this weird confrontation secret until a better understanding of where this Felix guy came from and why he was so different from the rest of them.
"Bad.. He very bad" Avery randomly said referring to Felix in a way as her new unexpected babysitter found the book he was looking for, and sat down once she had something to occupy the child as well. "What is your name big bear?" she asked while peering up at him while they both sat on the sofa with a somewhat childlike book, giving him a childish nickname which was cute as he sighed looking back down at her from his book.
"Dan.. Now quit pestering me, I want to read my book in peace" He answered paying his full attention back to the book he picked, as she did the same paying oddly fully attention to every word as well without any help. His eyes glanced at Avery now and then seeing how she used her fingers to read, but nothing came out of her mouth, so could she be reading in her head at just 3 years old? "Something is seriously odd with this kid" he thought not liking how well behaved she was being with every command he gave her to follow, like a very obedient dog.
"Where did they go?" A familiar voice could be heard outside of the library as the door creaked open allowing Vlad's doppelgänger to come through, appearing to have lost something or someone until finally spotting Avery. "Ahah. There you are, I've got you some cookies for being such a good girl" he said not paying much attention to Dan who silently read his book, as a plate with a pile off cookie was placed on the table that sat in front of them between both sofas that surrounded it.
"Thank you, Vladie" Avery said in a sweet way liking it when he would bring her cookies whenever she came by, even if it was on rare occasions like Christmas or other holiday events, but Avery spent most of her time with the doppelgänger rather than with the real Vlad.
"Now be good, I'll be keeping a close eye on you" the doppelgänger said gently ruffling her hair before grabbing a few things and left the two to their own devices.
"Never give sugar to a child, it is a bad combination" Dan thought waiting for the sugar rush to start, but something unexpected happened as she brought the plate on the seat of the sofa between them. "What is this kid plotting? She doesn't think I'm that dumb do they?" He thought again seeing her hand go to grab a cookie before glancing over seeing that she actually wanted him to have some.
"Here. You can have some, 'cause sharing is caring" Avery said with a little laugh and smile with her kind offering as he kindly took the gesture and started to eat it. "You can get some more, I don't mind" she added and also started to eat a cookie as well, while gently kicking her legs back and forth enjoying every living moment she had with her new friend.
"That's it! I have already decided. This child is too innocent. She must be protected at all costs" Dan thought building some sort of protective friendship with this child, as not only did they both like cookies, but she was not afraid of him despite what happened earlier with Felix.
When the dinner ended Jasmine popped into library spotting her brother Dan getting along with Avery. A odd and rare sight for her to see, but their time together sadly has come to an end.
"Dan, it's time to go" she said as he perked over his shoulder letting out a sigh and picked up Avery before exiting the library, wanting to hand her over personally knowing she won't be wandering about, unsupervised in a huge not baby proof environment. "I see you've made a friend, and what is your name?" Jasmine asked adored when seeing this little girl as she shyly hid away on Dan's shoulder, taking small peeks at her.
"Her name is Avery and for now on if she's gets hurt or even bleed a single drop and she's a tear. Someone is going to be losing their head" Dan stated as they met up with the others where Vlad spotted Avery in Dan's arms.
"Allow me to take her, she is my responsibility until her uncle comes to pick her up. Unless you're willing enough to babysit her instead?" Vlad randomly suggested clearly not wanting to take care of this child as Dan instantly took Avery with him without a second thought.
"Wait, Dan!" Jasmine yelled chasing after him as he continued to walk off with a child in hand. "You know this is classed as kidnapping right?" She added trying to get him to bring her back, but nothing seemed to be encouraging him, as if a voice inside his head refuses to let this child go back to there or wherever she came from.
Avery was confused and cold shivering until snuggling up to Dan for at least some warmth, when he tried his best to hurry back before she could catch a cold, but the only option was to transform and fly so he did. Dan got back to the Fenton house and opened the window that was apart of his room, and crawled inside shutting it behind him keeping the cold out.
"Don't worry you'll warm up in no time, but for now rest up and I'll be right here for when you wake up" he quietly said pulling one of his pillows down and laid her down, as he laid down by her side protecting Avery from anything that dares to try and hurt her. She flipped around, and unexpectedly snuggled up against him feeling the warmth radiating from him, using it to warm herself up along with the pillow for comfort as she fell into a comfortable slumber.
Even if she was meant to be under Vlad's watch, Dan felt like he did the right thing and took the girl under his watch until things properly sort themselves out, but he knew there was something off and has questions that urgently need to be answered.
Avery spent all the way up to the end of new years with the Fentons who gave her nothing, but love and affection along with Dan's over protectiveness, despite after only just knowing her for a short while in Vlad's mansion.
However, he had enough waiting and was wanting to know if this child knew more than he had expected, so she was sat down in Jasmine's room with both siblings present ready to get the girl to confess.
"Now, Avery. I want you tell me what exactly happens when you're at home with your uncle? We won't tell as it'll only be a secret between us three, I can promise you that" Jasmine asked in a gentle tone as she crouch down midway showing no signs of forcing the girl to speak, but nothing seemed to be said other than an anxious look and a turn of her head.
"If you do I'll give you a cookie, a plush and a all day worth of cuddles" Dan quickly stepped in bringing up a good deal for the kid to accept, it instantly got her attention, but still something seems to be keeping her from spilling the beans. "What is keeping you from telling us?" He asked in a gently tone sitting himself down beside her on Jasmine's bed, placing a hand on the girl's shoulder.
"I.. T-the.." she started to stutter struggling to saying what was wanting to escape from her body, like it was chained down slowly breaking through.
"The what? What are you so afraid of that is keeping you from telling us?" He asked again as Jasmine allowed him to do most of the talking due to the bond he created with this little girl. Avery gulped as her eyes and head began to glance around the room, as of searching for something or someone.
".. I don't wanna.." she muttered crawling down and hid underneath the bed as if scared to keep her mouth shut from exposing any dark secrets she may know. They sighed as Dan got up and got down on both knees on the floor beside the bed and peeked underneath, seeing her quivering like a scared little puppy.
"It isn't normal to be acting like this. Do you think Vlad might know anything about this?" jasmine suggested only knowing the girl through the old man and his doppelgänger, but it could be a good start since they both knew Avery's uncle. So one of them are bound to know something dark about him.
"You don't say.." Dan sarcastically responded sitting himself up on his knees looking up at his sister who had both of her hands place on both sides of her waist, silently glaring at him. "What? You hardly know anything about her, but I sorta do in a way. So I'm going to talk to the doppelgänger and find out what's happening here. Leaving you in charge of the little one whilst i am gone" he added sharing his idea not wanting to bring the child along incase things don't exactly go in his favour. Avery remained hidden under the bed refusing to get out no matter what they tried to do, not even cookies.
"Fine. But don't be getting yourself into trouble or we'll both be in big trouble" she responded taking the responsibility until some understanding comes to light, and maybe some lore on what really happened to Avery's mother.
Later on that night Dan snuck out in his ghost form to find the one he wanted to have a very detail conversation without anyone butting in this time. Phasing through the roof he managed to easily find Vlad's doppelgänger in the library searching around the bookshelves for something.
"There you are. We need to talk" Dan instructed in a serious tone causing Vlad to turn around rather startled at first before seeing that it was just him, but something was up as he loomed over him as if he had done something to upset him in a way.
"I'm kinda busy, but I guess I can spare you some of my time for a little chat" he was nervous not exactly wanting to fight knowing how quickly Dan would win with zero effort if he so desirably wanted to. As Dan went back to his human form he guided Vlad to a more private area of the library and stopped instantly turning to face him, showing no signs of letting them walk away without juicing at least some valuable information out of that brain of his. "Clearly something is bothering you, what is the matter?" he asked hoping that whatever was bothering Dan wasn't going to ruin this little friendship they had going on, even if it can be hard to come to terms with it, but they're slowly managing to cope.
"It's about the girl, and don't lie to me either. You clearly share some sort of bond with her, and I need to know why she's so scared to tell anyone a dark secret on why she's so smart, independant and lets not forget to talk about how her 'uncle' hires ghosts from who knows where to watch over her, whispering to the girl's while using the missing mother's voice!?" Dan exclaimed staring to becoming mad point, and poked his index finger several times at Vlad's chest not fooled by any excuse he might conjure up next, but he too seemed quite surprised especially by the fact that he too cared about the child despite it not being one of his own.
"Her father is a close friend of mine-well other me of course, but Vlad gives her to me to care for, but she has told me a little about her uncle and why she can't really talk about him. But judging by your reaction she has chosen to hide, am I correct?" Vlad answered as if he too had been through the similar situation with Avery, but even if the girl is kind and very forgiving, she too can be quite a stubborn child who is easily manipulated to keep her mouth shut under any means. Dan went silent for a moment seeing that he wasn't the only one Avery has done this to, making him even more determined to find out what exactly is happening with her so called uncle.
"Then tell me! Tell me why she's so scared to tell me? I need to know so I can actually help her" Dan was becoming impatient, desperate to know more making Vlad sigh knowing he had made a promise to not tell, but he knew it was for the girl's own good.
"She mentioned a cellar that Kai keeps locked tightly with 3 metal locks along with special magical veil that keeps everyone, including ghosts like yourself from entering. I don't know why, but she is afraid of acting up.. I think she said monsters lurked in there or something like that, and if she were to go down there they would gobble her up. It's an easy little trick most adults use to stop their children from becoming curious in places they shouldn't be" Vlad replied becoming rather puzzled and curious himself to know what he's hiding down there, but nothing dangerous came to mind unless it's where he keeps his treasured belongings knowing Avery is too scared to enter.
"A cellar? And he locks it up? He clearly is hiding something down there, but another thing. Is he human?" Dan asked curiously feeling a feeling in his gut to go down there and find out for himself, but gathering a little more information on Kai wouldn't do any harm, right?
"No, he is not" Vlad was confident with his instant reply like he knew this guy and if he isn't exactly a human, then what is he? A ghost? "I have recently learned that he has came from a different realm from ours, it's full of different species including ghosts.. How should I put it? He is a living being having ghost like qualities like yourself, but his kind can die once their core has either ruptured, dies out, eaten by another similar being or stabbed with a specialised weapon capable of killing them. The girl is exactly the same, but is far much stronger than Kai in ways I can't even comprehend" He added on as he lowered his voice not wanting anyone else who could be nearby to hear this secret information. Dan was stunned completely taken by surprise knowing that not Kai, but Avery shared something in common with most of the ghosts despite actually being alive unlike the dead who cannot do things what living beings can. Unlike them Dan wasn't exactly dead and very much alive.
"I guess that makes things even more interesting. Now all that's left is where exactly he keeps the darn cellar keys? I need to get in there whenever I can, and take a proper look at these 'monsters' for myself" Dan said to himself while his hand rest on the bottom of his own chin thinking in great thought of what to do, even though Avery could be over reacting with the monster part so that wasn't a believable theory of what could really be lurking down within that cellar.
"That is very simple. Every time I went to visit, he would take the keys away from the key hanger that he usually kept hanged up on the wall next to the cellar door, and puts them in his back pocket. So I advise you go when he doesn't expect you. Cause once the locks are undone the veil will lower its defences allowing you to go through, and that is all I got on him so far" Vlad responded giving even more detail on how he could easily slip into the cellar, but it's going to take a huge amount of stealth as this Kai guy was no ordinary threat, but something far more dangerous than any normal ghost he had fought before. "I suggest never letting him know you're there as he can be very hostile with his guests, but I think you've already got that covered" he added entrusting Dan with this very delicate task to find out what really lurks down there, but neither of them was ready for what is about to be revealed?
"It will go smoothly if I go on my own, so don't tell anyone what I'm about to do unless I don't come back. Not even Danny or I'll thrown him down that cellar head first myself" Dam stated making it pretty clear as Vlad gave him a understanding nod ending their little interrogation, allowing Dan to transform and headed out the same way he originally had came, using most of the intel he got to locate Kai's place and took his precious time get the whole place laid out in his head, just incase things were to go South.
However, he arrived just in time as Kai had finished locking the cellar up with what appeared to be blood on his hands, he watched him go into the kitchen, washing both his hands and keys until they were clean of blood before putting them back in their rightful place.
"Blood? Could he be some sort of butcher?" Dan thought not immediately seeing the full picture even if he was invisible and impossible to be spotted by Kai, but he had a gut feeling and remained on watch for any strange behaviour.
"With the kid out of the way, things sure have become a lot easier without any messes all over the place" Kai could be heard complaining about Avery as most of her toys and stuff has been put away neatly as he cracked his back on the way upstairs ready to call it a night. Dan saw this a perfect opportunity to swipe the keys and descended down until his feet touched the solid wooden floor in front of the keys.
"I need to be more patient.. I'm going to give him a few minutes until I take these ******* keys and open that darn cellar" Dan thought still hearing his footsteps sluggishly move about until the sound of a singular thump could be heard from the bedroom upstairs. He leaned against the wall passing the time glancing down and messing around with his ghostly sharp claws until everything went silent and became visible again, as he moved his hand near the keys and hucked them onto his claw as he slowly began to lift them off from the hook. Once off he casually went around the corner and stopped directly in front of the cellar door, his eyes fixed on the three locks with their own individual lock. "Having different keys for all three just makes it ever more suspicious, but I could be wrong" he thought again starting with the first lock failing to push the first key of three keys in until moving to the neck and carefully slid it inside, a perfect fit as he started to slowly turn it before hearing a light click unlocking 1 out of 3 locks, pulling it off placing it on the floor, flipping the latch off until moving to the second one doing the same for the last two locks until finally lowering the veil barrier that preventing him from entering inside. He took a deep breath in and grabbed the cellar's door handle slowly opening it as it creaked open allowing his eyes to stare down into the dark abyss that dwelled below. The atmosphere was intense nothing he had ever experienced before, and for a first he was the one intimidated and scared to even take a step down into the cellar, but the longer he stared the more intense it became. "This is pathetic! Why can't I move my body? It's like I'm glued stuck" Dan thought confused on what was happening to his body the longer the darkness dwelled as anything could jump out and take him under without a challenge.
However, his body soon overcame the effects and regained the opportunity to move again, but this time he wasted no time and descended into the cellar step by step. The deeper he went the dark it became forcing Dan to form a glowing green ball that floating around beside him giving some sort of light, even though it wasn't necessarily needed as he could see perfectly fine in the dark.
