ELVES,

Why does everyone think of them as divine beings chosen by Gods? ....Just because they have mana and can use magic or because they love nature and live in unity?why do people associate them with angels? Do you know who else can use magic and have mana?.....DEMONS.....they have the same traits but are despised by Gods.....why is that?...what if elves are not divine but are actually demonic beasts what if all the elves have brainwashed humans and other races to think that they are divine....WHAT IF......

...the galloping sound was in rhyme with the bird's chirps. as the buggy of the count's family was moving towards the castle from an old path there was greenery ....and when i say greenery it means there are only trees ... no flowers no other colours than green....Anissa was staring out of the window trying to admire the trees she thought to herself in a sarcastic manner changing her facial expressions a little bit "wow....it is really beautiful..." she stared for a while more and then said to herself..."who am i kidding who thinks that only darn green trees who are on the verge of death are pretty... i mean you could've decorated this place a little ... like you couldn't even plant some pretty flowers....seriously it would've been pretty if there were pretty flowers like peonies or lilies even spider lilies would've done the work....*sigh*...there should've been a lake beside the trees beside which were some ornaments or statues covered with colours.....other than green...darn ... this is why you should not believe what old people say" she stares outside a bit more and then turns her head in the carriage....she is traveling alone so she starts to feel a little bit bored..."should have brought the novel with me" ....she says....*sigh*..."where am i going anyway? oh right.... to meet my marriage partner....what is that guy's name.... damn...why am i forgetting so many things?....imagine i go inside and meet him forgetting his name and calling him Mr.BANDANADEE....that's the only name i can think of right now....what is his name....ooh right ...something like sam....whatever....i will get to know his name..."She starts staring outside and thinks"do i really have to marry some one i don't love?they all say that i should be happy that i am going to be the next empress or the wife of the leader but have they all forgotten why no one wants that position? it would've been better if i were to marry the heir of the count or the viscount or the duke's second son... it wouldn't be so bad either but no... what grandma says is the rule and no one can complain....look GRANNY i do love you and all that but you don't know how cold that bastard is.....like not even his actual father ever saw him smile and his personality there are rumors that he is .....he is.....darn...they were so stupid that even i the remembrance stone( a magical item used for recording) or the video player ...forgot....*sighs*..well lets go with the flow then ~.... " she regains her composure and starts to stare at .... again the nearly dead trees..Anissa is in a daze thinking about her favourite food when the door knocks and Anissa flinches.....

random knight: "madam we are almost there it may only take us a few more minutes to reach"

Anissa gives the knight a gentle smile and says :"thank you for telling me"... the whole atmosphere becomes flowery by her smile while in reality she is annoyed and spewing random stuff in her mind....

they reach the imperial palace and are greeted by the butler ,the personal aide of his majesty and some maids...the butler asks Anissa to follow him towards the reception room...Anissa is being escorted by her personal knight named Harry ...who is also a very good friend of hers

Anissa : "hey Harry"

harry: "yes milady"

Anissa whispers: "are you sure it is a good idea?"

harry whispers back:"i guess..i mean you are already inside the castle..."

Anissa (still whispering):"are you sure you are my 'supportive friend'???"

Harry says in a faint voice"look 'AUN' if i were to go and crash your wedding or even an engagement ritual or party....or even this meeting.....*says with a serious expression*... i would firstly be denoted of my position as a knight,then get kicked out of the county without a recommendation letter and if the emperor gets angry i will be exiled...or even executed because i was rude...."harry gives Anissa a thumbs up and a weird smile then says"don't worry i am still your supportive friend"

in a fit of fury Anissa yells "you" this word echoes and every one present turns to look at the source...

Anissa: Ahem!... sir Harry it seems that you have forgotten that you are an escort".

Harry: my apologies madam! ... i will try to choose my words carefully from now on..."

Anissa: "very well"

Anissa starts grumbling in a faint voice *tch* supportive friend my *** more like an arch nemesis

trying to get rid of me....bastard...

harry whispers: "Aun..you are supposed to act like a composed lady...a gentle and graceful lady in front of everyone so please stop mumbling crude words you know what Granny Lucy will say if she saw a 'NOBLE LADY' talking in such a manner"

Anissa: argh!...i know but ...why are you calling her granny lucy ... i thought you only called her that when we were young...

harry:cuz she is still granny lucy...that's why....

Anissa looks confused and says :are you dumb or am i dumb?

harry gives a thumbs up with a serious look on his face and says "both of us are dumb....you can't change that fact"

anissa is speechless and wishes to kick him but acts differently as a 'composed lady' she starts fanning herself and 'accidentally' hits harry on the face..."oh my! i am sorry sir harry it was a mistake" she says..harry tries to smile but his anger and annoyance can be seen "that ...its..fine..my lady" he says while gritting his teeth....and smiling

butler:ahem!....now that we are here ....i want lady Anissa to enter and all of you stay here...outside the room...ah...you too sir harry...

Harry:eh?

Anissa:stay here sir harry...

anissa and butler enter the room with some maids

Anissa: so...sir...Butler...

butler:oh my madam no need to call me sir you can just call me Adam

Anissa thinks to herself: wasn't this old guy very serious...just a few moments ago....

anissa awkwardly replies :ah..yes sir Adam....so could you perhaps tell me how long it might take his majesty to aah...enlight?...no that's not right...*she thinks to herself for a little while then says*...right..enlighten us with his presence?

darn i was supposed to act as a composed lady...anissa thought to herself while waiting for the reply

Adam:fufufu....milady....no need to talk in that manner...you can talk freely with me....

Anissa answers awkwardly :ah th-then sir ...Adam....the answer to my question

Adam bows and says in a professional manner: my apologies madam i completely ignored your question....why not you have a seat first and have some refreshments ...and i will call his majesty..it won't take long for him to come

Anissa sits down on one of the couches and watches Adam as he leaves the room the maids start to set the table with refreshments and pour tea in anissa's cup...Anissa smiles gently and thanks the maids ...the maids stand at a corner of the room and admire Anissa's beauty. Anissa reaches for a macron and takes a bite...

Anissa thinks to herself :Argh! its so uncomfortable why are they all staring at me ..even the most delicious dessert in the world now tastes horrible*sniff sniff* sadly....it now tastes like desert sand....never mind i cant make a pun....Anissa then asks the maids elegantly and gently to stop staring..and the maids reply with an apology and tell her that she is very pretty so they unconsciously stared at her ....."oh my ...you all are also very pretty"anissa replied...by this reply all the maids start to blush and anissa chuckles while eating the rest of the macron ...the door opens and SAMUEL the ruler or Anissa's soon to be fiancé entered ...Anissa looked at him at once and shoved the macron in her mouth and stood up as every one bowed down to greet him

We greet the sun of the empire

Samuel: please get up all of you...he said in a stern voice...

every one straighten up and looked down to not look in the emperor's eyes...you may sit down lady Anissa...he then said

Anissa sat down while looking down at the table still thinking why is she getting married?Samuel orders everyone to go out of the room except Anissa...

she is still staring at the table wondering what she did wrong to deserve this...cold treatment....

"did he perhaps read my thoughts? no no that is something even the mages cant do....wait...but isn't he the strongest one in this empire... maybe he did....darn...well n-nevermind that...i think its a lot more awkward now that every one else is gone....argh...should i strike up a conversation?... so for starters lets look him in the eyes..." Anissa looks up to see his face and sees Samuel making his way towards a couch to sit down....Anissa looks back down instead of looking at his face..."yeah lets just ....not do that...what if he gets offended?...i mean .. the rumors did say that he easily looses his cool....right"

Samuel:are you perhaps uncomfortable? he says softly...

y-yes?..uncomfortable... n-no your highness i am completely fine .... Anissa says as she looks up and sees a pale face with cherry pink lips and ..... a heavy rectangular frame of glasses that very much hid his eyes....and blonde hair that shined like gold....Anissa starts staring at his face and hair thinking how beautiful he would've looked if only the frame wasn't there...

Samuel said softly :Ah!.... can you...please stop staring....its quite uncomfortable.....

"oh my... i am I'm really sorry i ,your hair is just so pretty that i can't take my eyes off of them" anissa said still staring at his hair completely mesmerized in his beauty..Pfft! samuel covers his mouth with his hand and starts to laugh softly

Anissa thinks to herself "wait wait wait this guy can laugh?????" then mumbles "pretty"

Samuel:yes? did you say something?

Anissa: ah! yes.....um...n-nothing...

Samuel:now that you are feeling less uncomfortable .... lets move on to what i want to ask...

Anissa:yes?...yes....

So he was doing that for me to feel comfortable....wow who thought that the bad rumored person was so thoughtful....she thought..

Samuel:Can i believe in you?

Anissa:yes? sorry what exactly do you mean?

Samuel said in a stern but soft and gentle voice:i mean exactly what i said...

Anissa:then...yes your highness you can believe in me....

Samuel smiles as his expression softens and he finally takes off his glasses.... and just as Anissa sees his eyes she is shocked and mesmerized to see how beautiful they are ...

"they are just like an ocean deep...and beautiful....are you sure....you are not an angel...at this point....damn you pretty boii" anissa thought as she stared and blurted the word beautiful...Samuel smiles after hearing that...and asks something

Anissa:yes??...

she blinks and starts seeing somewhere else....huh? where is this?..she looks here and there and sees a lot of dead bodies....and one of them is harry's ..eek!.... harry she screamed with fear and ran towards him...harry harry...she shook him but there was no response...dude...i didn't say that i wanted you to die today....tch...she got back up and starts wandering...eww! why is there blood every where?...and...how the hell did i not notice that i was holding a sword....?

sheesh....where even am i????....she goes into a room and sees the emperor...injured...

ah...your highness..are you okay?... she said as she walked towards him..but in return the emperor yelled at her and asked her to stop where she was...anissa does exactly that and tries peeking at his expression...aah.....sir?....why are you injured ..i-i mean how did this happened?

Samuel yelled again with a stern expression and a cold glare ...how dare you act as if what you have done is something not even in your memory....now that you have killed every one...

What?.killed?...me? i don't even know how to wield a sword...wait....what the hell is going on????

"I must not scream.....

Yes that's something i would've said if i was actually going to believe my eyes...like..pshhh nah aint doin it" Anissa said while trying to smile as she saw every thing covered in blood

"i was literally by my...wait..husband to be??? Welp that doesnt matter...ahem! I was literally by Samuel's side a while ago..so there aint no way i randomly teleported here....or did i?" Anissa said with an awkward smile as she tried to look for a path that might lead her out of her imagination

"ughhh!!! The stench of blood...its giving me a headache" Anissa said as she pinched her nose to block some of the stench "wait...stench?" she stopped in her tracks and the thought for a moment with a worried expression "if i can smell...then this isnt my imagination....nor it is a dream....and..why am i holding this sword again???" Anissa was confused but her goofy personality made her think no more and she started to look for a way out again

After walking for some time Anissa could see the heaps of dead bodies that were stacked up and down and from there the blood was still flowing and in there she saw a very familiar face

"the stench will make me throw up...eeshhh" Anissa said before she could notice the dark coloured hair with a white strand....the only person that came into mind was Harry and before she could say or think any thing she felt her feet moving towards him

"Oi!!! Harry, you okay???" Anissa who was worried shook him up a bit and said in almost teary voice "why are you bleeding so much? I never asked you to go and die!"

"wait....yeah...this is all a hallucination...this is not real ,this is not real..this .is not...real..."

Anissa was shaken by what was going on but still decided to get up and continue going on her path

"Ughhh!"

"What was that"Anissa froze in her tracks and listened to where the sound was coming from, plip plip , it sounded as if something was dropping, there came a gust of wind from nowhere which shook Anissa, and she tried to find the source, but there was no window and even if there was every single one of them was blocked by something, Anissa who was now feeling a little scared decided to follow the dripping sound, and it led her to the kitchen where she found blood all over the tables and floor, she pinched her nose as she could no longer endure the stench of blood

After all she was only but a young lady, Engulfed in fear she still decided to walk down the path to find even a single soul ,an animal or human, whether it was a friend or foe, she decided to look for life. After taking millions of steps she got to a room in which she could hear someone's heavy breathing , she entered it but sadly no glimpse of life , yet again she heard someone groan i pain followed by heavy breathing , "Hello!!" Anissa exclaimed hoping to get a reply but no answer . "Are you also stuck in this ....void?" This time Anissa yelled but still no response

Anissa was getting impatient so she decided to look around the room and surprisingly she couldn't find anyone , as she was about to get out her sword shined and led her to the corner of the room , "What am i supposed to do here?" Anissa thought to herself , she was about to go away frlm there when she felt someone's presence, it was as if they were using some type of magic to hide

"listen who ever you are, i am not an enemy, so please show yourself" Anissa said in a calm manner and waited but of course no response , Anissa decided to stay there for a while hoping that the person might show themselves,before Anissa could move or anything else her body moved on her own as the sword in her hand shielded her from an attack, "Wh-what in the abracci!!!" Anissa who tried to find the source of the attack was met with another attack that the sword prefaced against

"Now i have a really great question....how the hek does this sword move on its own like... ARE YOU ENCHANTED OR A LIVING BEING DUDE!!!!!" as Anissa was going through that ordeal she finally found the source of the attacks and she threw the sword in that direction hitting the person and making his magic cover blow up

"Now now...look who we have here" Anissa sneered without thinking anything about it as she moved towards the person and grabbed the sword

"come on, show your face" Anissa got on her knees to get to the person's level and to her surprise she saw.......

"As perfect as gold....and eyes as deep as the...s..e.a...." Her face sunk as she saw Samuel groaning in pain . "why were you attacking me??" Anissa asked as she tried helping him up

but to her surprise Samuel pushed her away and put his guard up as he asked "What was the reason? Why......why......why????" Samuel looked like he was on the verge of dying but he still managed to utter those words

"what do you mean?" Anissa asked in confusion

"Dont act like you know nothing!!! HOW DARE YOU!!! I...i....trusted you" Samuel yelled but at the end of his sentence it felt as if he swallowed sorrow

"Are you....crying?" Anissa's heart sank

"doesnt matter.....no....how can it not matter.....i....i...even after....everything..you still" Before completing his sentence Samuel casted a spell on himself and lip synced something

"I ...still.....huh?" Anissa couldn't understand but before she could ask anything a magic circle appeared above her and everything started getting sucked in it but to her surprise she fell, she was falling way to fast and the only thing that was visible at that time was A GOLDEN LIGHT

"okay so....i a falling....and i have no idea how much my speed is....fun fact i do have magic but i cant really cast great spells due to which i can not cast any protective spell on me...haha...ha..ha..ha..welp..i guess imma die" Anissa had a smile on her face that was a proof of the fact that she was scared

She closed her eyes as tight as she could and started to sing a lullaby , but still her urge to scream was top-notch

A high-pitched scream echoed throughout the void, Anissa shut her eyes and decided to hum the lullaby her mother used to sing to her when she was young , another gust of wind shook Anissa, and she finally opened her eyes while shaking and blurted out the words "I haven't even gotten married yet!!"

"Wh-what?" Samuel, asked in a confused but rather kind manner, his concern for Anissa was genuine which he showed through his eyes

"Huh???" Anissa who was still shaking by what she had to go through,looked here and there in confusion and was met with Samuel's kind eyes and a question

"Did you not like my proposal my lady?" Samuel showed his concern while on the other hand Anissa was still confused by what was going on "My apologies, but....what proposal?" she asked with an awkward laugh "wait what time is it?" Anissa showed her interest

"half past 12"

"half past twelve....when exactly did i come here? Was it all really my hallucination? Wh-why am I covered in cold sweat? What proposal? What....is going on???" Anissa's face sank as she started to ask herself question after question and Samuel noticed that

"Lady, if you ever feel sick please do tell me" Samuel hinted Anissa into telling him if she wanted to go back home, but Anissa did not catch it and replied with "I am alright your majesty" and smiled, but her whole body broke into cold sweat and her face started getting pale

"lady, please don't lie! Your face is pale and i can tell by the way you are talking that something is wrong!" Samuel frowned due to his deep concern for Anissa's health

"i...am fine....but your majesty could you perhaps repeat the proposal?" Anissa said as she forced a smile

"listen my lady, your health is more important,we can talk about the deal later on so-" Samuel said in a low but clear voice which was full of concern but before he could finish his sentence Anissa started coughing

"Aishhh!!! I have never coughed this hard before!!" she thought to herself

"ah! Please have some water!" Samuel got up and handed Anissa a glass of water, it was just a moment when she drank water and coughed up blood, her whole dress got covered in it and a gust of wind blew by

"ugh! Again this stench of blood, haa!!!.... Why...am i....feeling....dizzy?"

"CALL FOR THE ROYAL PHYSICIAN!!! HER LADYSHIP HAS FAINTED!!"

All the hallways of the internal palace echoed the same sentence , call for the physician, ANISSA LANGRIN has fainted

Harry entered the room only to find Anissa fainted with blood on her clothes, he rushed towards her to check up her condition "it can't be his majesty....right?" Harry thought to himself and he got the answer as he saw Samuel's face, even if he tried to conceal his concern it was still dripping from those eyes, it was more like the fear of losing someone....again....

"Your majesty, please allow me to assist her to a room!!" Harry said but without any answer Samuel carried Anissa and rushed her out , her silver hair, set loose fluttered in air and shone as the sun's rays reflected on it

"No, not this time.....no....no.....no....please i beg of you!" Samuel repeated this line till he reached a room and placed Anissa gently on the bed, it was not long after that the physician came and checked up on her

...."why...did you not use your healing powers on her?"

"it didnt work....it was as if....something was blocking it"

"but...your majesty..that's definitely not normal!!"

"Albert shwan!!"Samuel said in a deep cold voice, even if he was concealing his mana, due to his anger a small part could be felt that made his aide, Albert kneel down

"m-my ap-pologies... I...have made a grave sin..." Albert who sounded like he was chocking somehow got samuel's forgiveness and finally he concealed all of his mana

"haa!.... Get out of here!" Samuel said in a menacing tone

"y-yes" Albert left the room, now it was only Anissa and Samuel left

He sat beside Anissa and caressed her hair, thinking deeply about something and then said

"My intuition was right.....this time....i wont....-" he stopped in the middle of the sentence and kissed Anissa's hair

"Your family will be here ....so...i hope you wake up before that"
