The surprise 

“I am not interested in romantic type of relationships. So please don’t force me into this sh*t.” I shouted from my study.

“Will you go to the ball?” says George my brother.

George entered the study with a jar of ice cream and sat on the armrest of my study chair, on which I was sitting.

“You know I am not good with all that and especially when I am so busy with DROP Enterprise. It’s like my baby, it need my full attention.” I explained to George for around 100th time today.

NOTE: George is super handsome and also very rich as he owns the largest enterprise in Canada and just started his business, here in Australia as he wanted to be with me, to take care of me. No no no not in the way you might be thinking. He is very overprotective about me as he takes me an orphan, as his own sister because of a very silly logic i.e. he always wanted a little sister.

“Either you go to the ball with me willingly or I George Ray will force you to go. Either way you will go, you see.” he said with a murderous look on his face.

“But I honestly have a business meeting this Friday. That is a weekday you know. And i am always busy on the week days George. Pleaseeeeeeeee.” I said making the cutest face ever to make his cold ice strong heart melt and begged for his mercy.

No no no sweethearts not again, I am not the cute, innocent type of girl at all, I am labeled the RICHEST person of Australia and I am also considered THE QUEEN of the underworld around the world and run the strongest underworld organisation called JQ.

J- joker (strongest card in the deck which can flip the tables anytime.

Q- Queen (That I am)

“It is at 8:00 p.m.. After your office hours end. Grace you will not get bankrupt because of this. I declare the discussion closed and my final ORDER is you will be going to the ball this Friday.” Emphasising the word ORDER meant I have to do it no matter what.

George holds a very high position in my heart. He is someone who is keeping me alive. The reason for me to live because he is my only family. He is the only source of the love and care in my life. although my name is Gracia Stone, he calls mr Grace because he calls me his queen. And if he says order I have to do it because that’s our unspoken rule. He also is the best fighter and has a military background so he taught me how to fight, use guns and all the other things I know so he is my master somehow.

“Okay George I will be there at 8:00. Text me the address.” while pretending to read some documents I said.

He hugged me tightly and said “Thats my girl.” His happiness was so evident on his face that I felt happy looking as him. He is 5 years older to me. I feel proud of him every time I look at him ‘my brother’.

Another day

I woke up hearing the “Good morning, wakeup time.” alarm in George’s voice. My house is fully equipped with all the latest tech gadgets for my convenience because my brother, George is the technology expert. He creates new gadgets for others convenience and makes money out of it.

On my 18th birthday George gifted me a pair of metallic black custom made thumb rings ,with the letter J engraved inside one ring and Q in the other. A huge moon stone diamond in the middle of the rings and very small gold roses made around the diamond. These rings to my surprise were the only keys to my hi tech villa. Apart from the ring now there is an eye scan system using which only George and Roy, my assistant can enter the house.

Ever since that day I never removed the Q ring  and my brother is in a constant hunt for the J ring owner. He believes only that joker can make my life complete.

My ring keeps a  track of my heart rate so the sensors know automatically when I wakeup and the alarm stops on its own when I am fully awake and get on my feet. Its a solar charge ring so I never need to remove it. George  wanted me to be the only owner of this creation so it was never introduced to the public and was never made a product, that’s what all the things that can be sold in the market are called in the business world.

From the “product” , you need to know how I found Roy.

When I was 20, I (as the queen of the under world) was invited in a black auction. It was my first auction, that I MYSELF WAS INVITED TO. Otherwise I always accompanied George to auctions.

I asked George to accompany me to the auction.

I wore a beautiful grey satin gown with a side slit and a silver mask covering half of my face as I had to hide my face. I always hated publicity so I always hid myself well. No-one except George , Roy and a few of my business partners and a few trusted underworld members know how I( as the richest person in Australia and as the QUEEN)  look like, for the rest gf the world I am a mystery with is till date unsolved.

I and George entered the auction hall at around 10 o’clock in the evening, we were really late because of our busy schedule so could only see the last few products in the auction. The 3rd last item the auction was a huge vase from ancient time, I don’t remember the details as was least interested in it.

The 2nd last item was a beautiful gun, custom made for Hitler. George always considers Hitler as a very smart and ambitious man and always idealised him so he wanted that gun real bad. The bid started at 2 million USD, and George won the bid at 40 million USD.The spark in his eyes and the smile on his face was epic.

“Up next is the last and the most awaited product of the day. ‘The  TOY’.” announced the announcer.

I was actually very surprised by the name and thought it might be a toy with which Hellen of Troy played in her childhood days. But to my surprise it was a boy most probably in his twenties, half *****, wearing a black tie on his masculine body, and black hand cuffs hanging his hands to the collar in the neck, and black boxers. Just by looking at his face one could tell he was drugged and forced to all of this but people there were enjoying the show, the show of him ‘begging to be covered with clothes.’ I found the helpless look on his face similar to mine before I met George. So I wanted to save him at any cost. The total amount in my credit card appeared in my head. The sum total of all my cards was 100 million USD( after all I just started earning)

When I got back to reality after my calculations, the bid reached 10 million USD. I instantly raised my card and shouted  80 million USD. A wave of silence spread the room because my bid was most probably the highest one of the whole auction. Roy raised his eyes to look at me while fighting the embarrassment he faced at that time, maybe trying to look at his owner.

“80 million one… two….. three……”called out the announcer but i paid no attention coz i was busy looking at Roy, maybe trying to comfort him and telling him you are safe now. “THE TOY is won by the beautiful lady in grey.” Hearing the announcer say it, Roy smiled at me, maybe he understood what I wanted to say.

The same day

“Good Morning Black. My schedule please.” I asked the artificial intelligence system in my home while entering my bath which is already ready with warm water in it. See I told you my house is very smart.

“Good Morning master, it’s 4 in the morning, you have a meeting with Mr.Gail at 10 this morning about the investment you promised in exchange for his 20% shares.”

“Oh, Did he really agree to my offer? It’s been  a while, I thought he is smart and will not agree.” I said while smiling and pouring my favourite, night queen fragrance oil in my bath.

“Yes master, he agreed yesterday. Then you have a shareholders meeting at 12 in THE DROP. Following it a lunch meeting at 2:oo p.m.  with Mr. Ray about new fabrics that will be used for the upcoming collection. Then you have a meeting with Mr. Brown about the new weapons that you wanted to purchase for team Mirror in JQ at 4:00 p.m. Then you have to sign a few documents, so you have to go to JQ headquarters.”

“Okay, then I will be free?” I asked Black with my eyes close while lying in my bath, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful fragrance around me.

“No master, then you have to go to a Ball party, the dress is emailed to you on your personal mail by sir George.”

“Is it today?”I asked in a very shocked voice because it completely skipped my mind.

“Yes master. Today is Friday.”

Okay I have to do it. I got out of the bath entered my walk-in closet and found 5 new business suits inside. They were all from the winter collection of my favourite and idol designer Rainbow.

“Where did they come from?” I asked black.

“Sir George got these for you from Paris last week. He wanted to surprise you.”

Silly question, obviously he bought these, He is the only one to bring me gifts apart from grandpa Tess who obviously can not afford these.

I wore my favourite cat hoodie with sponge bob shorts and went to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast. I don’t like too many people around me so i prepare my breakfast, do laundry, dishes and cleaning myself.

I ate my breakfast in peace and went to my gym room. I did treadmill and some boxing and went to shower. I took a  quick shower and went to my wardrobe in just my towel. I felt so energetic after the shower that I was all smiles while jumping and dancing to my wardrobe listening to berywam’s beatbox music that I like and then I crashed into someone and fell. Okay what the f.

“Roy what’s up. why here so early?” I asked Roy still siting on the floor.

“There is some emergency at JQ.” He pulled me to make me stand and wrapped my bathrobe around me and tied it very tightly.

“Are you planning to kill me ?” I asked him

“No, but you should wear a little more when going back to your room from gym” Roy always tells me that. He knew that, that’s why he had a bathrobe already prepared.

“So Roy what’s the emergency in JQ”

“Miss Stone, after investigating Steve today we got to  know that he had sold our internal information and your picture to our competitor Zora and he wanted to release it publicly but we blocked all media sources using DROPs resources. We caught Steve and brought him to rose garden in JQ headquarters. But Zora wants to create trouble at headquarters. He openly challenged you and refused to go away before fighting you. I think he wants to reveal your face during the fight.”

Early morning energy will be put to good use today. LOL . I will have some fun today. yupieeee but will be bored at the ball, not so good.
