the sun rises on this brand new day. A new day for 2 certain people that have yet to meet. the birds sing their songs in response to the rays of sunlight piercing the sky. A modern small home of white bathes in sunlight as a man with golden long hair that curls slightly as it reaches his stomach. Lays peacefully on his back in his bed. his golden eyes appear as he glances to his left towards his window.

"So you have awoken before me. You that shines so brightly." Razel sits up on the end of his bed and stands up and walks towards the window. He rests one hand on the window and stares directly at the sun. His golden eyes resonate with the intense luminosity.

Another modern home of white also bathes in the sunlight. A woman with black long straight hair that reaches her chest. Opens her dark lifeless eyes. She does not speak. She turns away from her window and covers her head with her blanket. Her phone rings. It's her moTher. the woman answers it and a conversation is held.

"Yes mom? I just woke up" -Azala

"Oh dear. You shouldn't sleep so late. Could You help me with shopping? I'll come to your house,, and we can go together"-Mother

"Fine. But you don't need to come here. I'll meet you at the shop" -Azala

"Okay. Get ready now and call me when you're here. See you soon dear"-moTher.

The woman. Azala begins her day as she finishes showering. She walks back to her room. To her wardrobe and picks out her clothing. She wears a green butToned shirt with green pants and small heel shoes. As She begins her walk towards the shop that would normally take her about 20 minutes. She cAsually walks until She hears footsteps behind her. She's on guard now. Her hairs stick up on the back of Her neck. She feels something about to grab her. She braces and prepares for anything. As She's bracing and her heart is beating. She glances to her right and Sees a man walk pAst her. For whatever reason. She cannot take her eyes off that man. She takes note of everything about that man. He wears a black shirt with a long back coat. Black pants and Black shoes. He is covered in black. But what took Her attention was his face and hair. He had golden eyes, a slight big nose, small lips, and facial hair. He had a black goatee and black moustacHe.

30 minutes beFore Azala leaves Her house

Razel walks away from tHe window in his home and showers. He takes off his sleepwear and its revealed he has muscles. His whole body was well-defined. He wasn't very muscular. He had a lean build But the moment he flexes. His muscles are so very visible. He finiShes his shower and Gets ready. He wears all black. He looks at his mirror and comments "all black. How nice. That new burger shop is opening. I should go now"

He begins his walk and after about 30 minutes. He sees a lady up in front of him. He has no thoughts about the lady. He simply wiShed to just walk by. So he does just that. But he notices her body language.

"Why is She covering herself like that? She was walking fine moments ago. What a strange lady" Razel thinks to himself as he walks widely around her but as he did. He glanced at her face. His eyes open wider. He cannot believe how cute She was. Her plump lips and chubby cheeks, her big nose. He loved every feature of her. But her eyes. When he saw her eyes. He felt a chill run down his spine. That darkness within that little cute woman. It was as if he was standing in an empty space. All by himself.

Razel dismissed what he saw in her eyes and thought. "I would never see her again. What a shame. Such a cutie like her having this kindof eyes. What a shame indeed."

oh he was so mistaken...

Azala watches Razel walk by. she stays behind him and keeps her pace just slower than him.

Azala thinks to herself " where is he walking to? wait. why do I care where he is going." before she even knew it. the shops was in view infront of her and yet. also in her view. was still that man.

Razel: why has she been following me? did she notice? and what is she going to do now?

Razel walks into the burger shop and positions himself so he can see where she goes. nothing strange happens until she sees another man approach her. he thought to himself.

Razel: with a cute face and curvy body like hers. she would draw a lot of attention. like wolves hunting for sheep. what will you do now little sheep?

but not long after. his burger arrives and he jumps up with joy and begins eating the burger. at the same time. the other man has reached Azala.

the other man has black short hair with green emerald eyes. he wears a cloak and a necklace around his neck that holds an emerald that dangles down. he blocks Azala's path and a smile appears on his face.

Lowin: My name is Lowin. and I've searched far and wide across many lands. and I've yet to find any beauty until I found you.

Azala doesn't reply and instead turns away to hide her face. she was blushing. however. Lowin took that as her turning him down.

lowin: come on babe. don't be like that. let me take you to a place. just for us.

he raises his arm over her shoulder and starts walking away with her. but at this moment. someone intervenes.

"what do you think youre doing? get lost scum." Azala looks up and sees it's her mother standing in their way. but for some reason. Azala felt disappointed. this however, annoyed Lowin.

Lowin: im just showing this beautiful lady here a perfect place. so please move out of the way

mother: no I don't think so. she's my daughter and I have never met you before. so move away and go.

Lowin: get out of my sight. I dont care who you are. I wont be happy if anyone stops me from doing what I want. and besides. this daughter of yours wants to go with me.

mother: let go of her! you're scaring her so that's why she wants to go!"

the mother charges at Lowin but it's what he wanted. his grin turned into a sinister smile and just before he was about to strike her down. Golden hair had appeared in between the mother and Lowin. Azala notices the hair and she looks up and sees those radiating golden eyes. those eyes of his was so powerful. even more so when Razel looked downwards and meets her eyes.

Lowin: what do you want? I'm not in the mood anymore. piss off or you will die.

Razel: oh little sheep. you got yourself caught by a wolf. sheep's like you need protection from the wolves. which is why shepherds exist. they protect the sheeps and would gladly give their life to defend them.

Razel takes one step forward and quickly closed the distance between him and Lowin. he was so fast that everyone in the surrounded area felt a gust of wind.

Lowin: what? what did you do? so you are a sorcerer too? hahahahahaha. how brilliant. now I don't have to hold back.

Azala is shocked to hear the world sorcerer. is that why she felt an attraction to these men? was their power somehow resonating with her? she stands up on her own and removes Lowin's hand. the moment it left her shoulder. Razel made his move.

Razel grabbed Lowin by the throat and threw him back but as he did. blood had spewed out of his arm. it was as if he was cut by a blade.

Lowin: hahaha. your arm isn't looking good. I govern the wind so it's at my command. around these parts. there is no one who can beat me. now you die.

Razel shrugs his shoulders and immediately moved so fast towards him while dodging the wind attacks from Lowin and the moment he reaches Lowin. he plants his foot on his face and stomps it on the ground.

Azala is shocked. A fight between two handsome men. and they were sorcerers at that. she stood still while staring at Razels back. he turned around and sees her staring at him. their eyes meet once again but this time. Razel notices a difference in her eyes. it's not entirely lifeless anymore. he sees very little light within them.

Razel: that's something. so she really does have some happiness buried deep within her.

Razel walks forward to her and her mother and stands in front of them. With his solemn cold face. The mother is tensed while Azala is relaxed. She felt safe around that man. She didn't know why.

Razel: well that is taken care of. Please be careful. There is always wolves lurking in the dark." he glances at Azala. "and you....no never mind. Look out for yourself."

as he walks away and waves at them. Azala is only thinking of one thing. who would be the shepherd to protect her from the wolves?

Azala and her mother continue their shopping. although Azala was still thinking about Razel.

Azala was caught in a trance and thought to herself, " Why did he call me a little sheep....im not a little sheep."

Sally( mother): dear. come help me with this. I think you will like it.

however, as she looks at Azala. she isn't looking at her. so she raises her voice louder.

Sally: Azala. help me with this, please.

Azala finally hears and looks at her mother. but her mother feels a chill down her spine. the lifeless eyes in her daughter are stronger than before. she knew all about her daughters past. all that betrayal. those boys she used to like. her friends. everyone around her had left her. she was all alone. her mother had wished her daughter was able to escape that past and move on to the brighter future. for a moment. when she saw the golden hair guy. she saw her daughters eyes had changed. she was visibly shocked.

Sally thought to herself. "Maybe that guy will show himself again. maybe he could free her from this life of torture....or maybe not."

moments passed. Razel had been secretly watching Azala. before, he noticed a strong power within that girl. it had almost manifested before he stepped in to stop Lowin. if he had been late. the surrounding area could have been decimated.

Razel rests his arms on a railing on top of a nearby building.

Razel: What a crazy woman she is. that power surging in her eyes. it seems she does not know she has that power. what a shame. A beautiful woman who carries death in her eyes. I bid her farewell.

Razel walks away, thinking he would not see her again. he was again wrong.

the moment when Azala finished shopping. said bye to her mother and returned home. she couldn't stop thinking about Razel. she didn't know his name. but she felt like she needed to know. so she tried and tried researching about a golden hair man with golden eyes.

Azala: How is it so hard to find one guy? agh. of course, it'll be hard. he uses magic. so he's a sorcerer. and every sorcerer is met with a member of the council to confirm their magic. so there has to be some sort of list.

after an hour of searching about sorcerers. she finds one fortunate article that was published 15 years ago. it reads. " A small boy was evaluated by a member in the council of magic. could this boy have enough potential to become the 1st ranked sorcerer? he duelled the member of the council, and although the results weren't made known. the member does seem angry and refuses to answer any of our questions." and what was shown was a very poor photo of the boy. he appeared to have been a teenager at that time.

Azala: Could this be him??? There's no name, but he has golden short hair. but there is the name of the council member... the name is Koen Vonciel? Vonciel... I have seen that before. but where....

Azala searches through all her junk in her house. she knew that surname. if she could just find whatever that reminded her of that family. she would be able to find the publisher. after some time. she found something.

Azala: I knew it. it was here.

what she found was an old photo of when she was a kid. her mother had taken her daughter to her close friend's estate. and in that photo. the mother, azala, and the mother's friend was standing in front of the giant house. and there was a family crest behind them on the house. so without a delay. Azala calls her mother.

Azala: mom. please tell me you remember that estate we visited and the family crest is the letter V with flowers around it.

Sally: Huh. I do remember yes. what do you need to know for?

Azala: Just tell me. I was just doing research, and I found that family crest. so I called you to find out the name.

Sally: ahh well. Vonciel is the name of the family. is that all dear?

Azala: Yes, thank you. bye

Sally was confused, but she noticed her daughter sounded happier. so she didn't think too much about why she wanted to know.

Azala: So it's Vonciel. maybe I'll be able to visit that estate again, and they could let me speak to Koen.

Azala continues to do more research about sorcerers and mostly the Vonciel family. she discovered that the Vonciel family used to be the Duke for the late King about 100 years ago. the king was really exceptional at magic and was said to rival the strongest from the magic council. whereas the Vonciel duke used to be below the king in magical power. but as time went on. the king had died with no heirs remaining. although he had children. but they were reported as dead. and strangely. there are no photos or anything said about their appearance. it seems like they were all deleted.

the Vonciel family had taken up the mantle as the reigning crown. however. they had been declining as the other noble families began to break away and lived their own lives. which brings to today. the magic council overrules everything now. every other empire in the world still exists, but even they have to follow the magic council.

Azala looks at the time and realises that it was so late now. which isn't unusual for her. she just didn't think she spent so much time researching in hopes of finding that man's identity. and so she packs up for the night and gets ready for bed and then closes her eyes.
