Love At First Sight

1

Lily

... What it is ~ Doechii...

As soon as I put it in shuffle mode, the songs start playing automatically. Looking out the window, I was humming the tune.

I'm traveling by train to my dad's house.

And you've been wondering where the father lives.

Okay, so my father was relocated to the western Indian state of Goa, to a place called Madgaon or Margaon.

Yes, I'm Indian, and my father had to move across India because of his profession.

So here I am, traveling to his city to visit him after a year, along with my mother, brother, and other family members.

We haven't spoken in almost a year. I was really missing my dad. He used to contact us every time on video, but he is now free of his work.

All I could see was a message that said, "Join premium now if you want to listen to your songs without ads." Dang, they constantly attempt to interrupt the flow of the tunes. Stupid advertisements.

I switched off my phone, took off my earbuds, and pulled some wafers for a snack from my bag. I enjoy eating as I travel. Furthermore, I turn to the opposite side to see my mom and brother arguing about who knows what on a different seat. I felt the energy as I sat there by myself.

It's twilight and the rainy season. While I don't dislike rainy days, I also don't enjoy them. I enjoy being wet without taking a bath. not thereafter.

After dawn, it is already 5:50 pm, and it appears like 7:00 pm will soon arrive. I assumed there would be a severe downpour because of the number of dark, ominous clouds that had accumulated nearby.

I hated the idea of being soaked.

Thank God I'm on a train because I'm being stopped by something that's genuinely made of glass and is as thick as glass. My family's laughter could be heard in the background. In order to hide the portion of the room where I was, I grab the drapes and pull the strings.

I was securely covered in a duvet as I lay there. This emotion. I groaned softly. I adored this sensation. The next time, I should go alone.

I was looking through my phone and planning to read an online book. My mood will be lifted, and I'll be able to get some rest.

N. M. Patel's book Luv Shuv in New York was the one I was looking for. The title alone shouts "Indian book, written by Indians." I adore how diversified our Indian communities are becoming throughout many categories. I couldn't wait to read.

However, the unexpected train stop in the midst of the unidentified station forced me to rise up. My brother opened the drapes and gave me a quick glance.

The halt has arrived. Do you need a snack? He questioned me while I sat trying to determine which station it is as gazing out the window. He is three years younger than me and a rather mischievous individual.

I ask “If you might bring bread omelette?” and he nods in agreement. “But it needs to be freshly prepared, right?”

He only ever says, "Yea, yea, Maharani" or, "Yea, yea, princess."

I sat with my feet crossed, looking out the window for my brother. I felt a cold as I touched my nose. It's a room with air conditioning, and the air conditioner stopped operating when the station came or, more accurately, when automatic equipment that controls based on the sound of the train engine.

I stand up and move closer to the door to view him as I can't see him well from the closed window. As I reacted violently and slammed to the room door into my back after I opened the door to exit the room, I collided into someone.

"Ow... "

I only received the word "oops" from the other side.

"That Hur----." my breath stopped. It seemed like the train began to move, but the air supply to my face stopped. My face has begun to get red as a result of the sudden heat in the air. I gasped when I saw the man in front of me. He was sultry. Dashing then. Quite formal. So appealing.

I retaliated with "I'm so sorry" and resumed my sluggish breathing. I felt someone grip my shoulder, and when I turned to see upward following the hand lead, he backed away and formed a specific gap. So, I was unaware that he had been holding my shoulder the entire time. After receiving no response, he clears his throat.

"No.... No, it's okay" my face could get any blast soon. Oh god.

"Then excuse me." He stared the room door and making me realize that he needs to go there. I excused myself and stood aside, giving him space to go.

As soon as he entered the room, I inhaled deeply. It was excellent. I went to a wash basin and washed my face in order to cool my heated blood since I reasoned that water may help me calm down. But it was ineffective. I smelled a citrus scent as I looked down. I hold my cloth and start smelling, it does smell like citrus. Wow he wore cologne of citrus. That was fast. Thanking to my cloth for catching his cologne air.

My brother then brought me my favorite bread omlette, which diverted me. I completely forgot about him when I saw the food in his hand.

2.

Lily.

I was sleeping well until I was awakened by individuals muttering to themselves. Is it necessary for Shit to grumble now?

I attempted to sleep again, but my gall bladder refused to cooperate. It has to pee. I awoke from my seat as I was sleeping on an upper seat, and I tiptoed down the so-called ladder. I proceed to the restroom. After washing my hands, I went outside and noticed someone was on the phone at the train entrance. It was a risk. I took a look at the individual and his feet. He was so near to the edge that I was afraid he'd go off. I chuckled at my own imagining, which caused him to back up.

I exclaimed one more.

Once again, he.

In a single day.

At least twice.

We met.

On the same spot.

God should be able to tell us why we're meeting again. He returned the smile. And now it's my turn to go to the skies. I was taken in by his smile. Oh, my goodness. Why are we getting together on a train?

Why does my love at first sight have to manifest only once? Give me a break, man.

I turned around leaving when he asked me. "Do you have a pen on you right now? "

For a moment it took me things to slowly process what he was saying.

"Wait a minute," I said as I returned to my room and sought my purse for a pen, which I quickly handed him. He accepted it with a smile.

I took another breath in order to react gently in front of him, not being myself.

I

despise

myself.

He scrawled in his palm, then handed me a pen and hung up the phone.

"Thank you" I nod without knowing me.

Lily.

That's rude.

Ritik

"How am I supposed to carry all these bags?" I shout as I drag three to four bags behind me. I followed behind the family, guess my family staring them down.

My sister, Richa who is three years older than me, rubbed my back and said, "Because you are the youngest of the house," which may have given me the strength to lift these large suitcases.

She chuckled as she looked me, "It's not fair, Didi," "It's not fair, sis." She glanced at me and my baggage and I request, "At least carry one bag, it will be a huge help." I joined my hands to each other hanging my head between the shoulders She held the smallest bag and grinned as she followed my parents.

I yelled, "didi.... " sis, but she didn't hear me.

I turned to look back as the train approached the station and the horn sound breaking my middle ear. After being away from home, we are now returning to our city. We had a party in another city to celebrate my team's state championship victory in volleyball.

Yes, I am the primary setter for my team. My entire family came to support me. But now I'm the carrier or coolie guy, the one who is meant to carry all the luggage on his head. Because of the form of my skull, I can't fit one bag on it.

I allowed them to board the train and forced them to take their assigned seats. Man, this city is hot as hell. The water from the bottle was consumed by me, and I also took a seat beside Richa.

"And your seat?" she said as she handed me the bubble gum to munch.

"Two blocks ahead," she hummed, as I began to eat the bubble gum.

"This is what happens when you make a last-minute reservation"

"Di, sis, I wasn't sure about these, I was staying, you all forced me to join"

"Because we love you, my bacha" my baby.

"Okay, train is moving forward; I need to go to my seat," I heard a horn sound, indicating that the train will start soon. I stood up, carrying my baggage, and began walking towards my block.

I was looking at my attire, which consisted of a jacket and a white sweatshirt. God only knows why I had to wear this clothing. As I approached my block, I abruptly ran into something.

No, it's a human. Their skull slammed into my lower jaw. Hurtful sh*t. I moved my jaw, wondering whether it had moved or what, and then I peered down. A girl was there. She was so little that she almost touched my jaw. I hold her as the train begins to move since she seems so frail and might easily fly off. Is she a high school student or is she still enrolled? I retreated when she gave me a glance. Judging her from head to down....uhmm..its big……. SHE IS A HIGH SCHOOL GIRL?? I looked back at her face. She rubbed her head making me feel guilty.

My first thought was, "Are you okay?"

The mouth yelled, "I'm very sorry.

I mentally smacked my skull. She may get head bump anytime. No worry, I'm leaving right away.

I gave my excuses and departed the area. Will she be alright? She appeared red. My chest was too solid for her head to rest on. Oh, dear. We won't cross paths again, therefore I shouldn't care. She'll also forget about me. Maybe? I shook my head as I remembered the unfortunate circumstance. I settled up on the train seat and started to listen to music.

As the owner of the other seat exited the train on the other side, my family called and pestered me to move to their seat.
