The afternoon is bidding farewell slowly as people walk through the square. Two young individuals are seated on a bench, chatting and having fun.

Slash laughs and replies, "I'm only like this because of you."

Gregory gazes at Slash with admiration and, a little shyly, says, "I really enjoy being with you. It's been a while since we've had days like these together." The wind gently rustles their hair.

Slash becomes a little timid and says, "I... I just... I mean... I've missed you too."

Gregory holds Slash's hand and responds, "It's okay."

After a few months, Slash finally gathers the courage to confess something that has been deeply bothering him.

Slash says, "There's something I've wanted to ask you for a while now, Gregory."

Gregory asks, "What is it, Slash?"

Slash reflects for a moment, regains his courage, and decides to speak up.

Gregory confesses with a smile, "I was curious to see how far you'd put up with it."

The sound of a clock chiming catches their attention, indicating that it's getting late. Slash suggests they should head home.

As they prepare to leave, a man passes by and makes an offensive comment. Slash pauses for a moment, and Gregory notices he's getting angry. Gregory tries to calm the situation, saying, "It's okay, Slash."

However, Slash quickly turns around and points his finger at the man. A strange energy emanates from his hands, causing the man to be thrown into a trash can. The man screams for help, frightened by what just happened.

Gregory looks at Slash in surprise and asks, "What did you do?"

Slash responds with a serious look, "I'll explain later. Let's get out of here."

Gregory and Slash keep walking. Slash asks if Gregory wants to go to his house or the apartment.

"I've never been to your apartment," Gregory becomes embarrassed.

"Now that we're together, you can come whenever you want," Slash smiles.

"I still haven't forgotten when you threw that man into the trash just by pointing your finger," Gregory justifies.

Slash becomes a little nervous.

"I promise to explain when we get to the apartment. Let your dad, Mr. Ayano, know so he won't worry about you," Slash requests.

Gregory is shocked.

"Right, my dad..."

Night falls through the window of Gregory's house. His father, Ayano, just got out of the shower, his long wet hair dripping on the floor.

"Oh no, the floor is going to be a mess," he says, picking up his vibrating phone.

"It must be my little Gregory," he observes the messages and replies, "Have fun, my dear." A happy smile forms on his face. At that moment, the doorbell rings.

"I'm coming. Has my little one returned?" Ayano gets dressed and opens the door.

Slash and Gregory arrive at Slash's apartment. Gregory is impressed by the place's appearance. Slash goes to the front desk and talks to the security guard.

"Good evening, Mr. Ryun," Slash greets.

"Good evening, Slash. Who's this young man by your side?" the security guard asks.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce him. He's my boyfriend, Gregory. Isn't he adorable?" Slash shows his excitement.

"Boyfriend?" Gregory feels a bit uncomfortable.

"Haha, it's a pleasure to meet you, Gregory," Security guard Ryun greets.

"The pleasure is mine, Mr. Ryun," Gregory introduces himself.

"We need to go, Mr. Ryun," Slash bids farewell, taking the key to his apartment from the security guard.

"Take care of our boy, Gregory. He's a golden boy," Ryun advises before they leave.

Gregory responds by blinking his eyes and saying, "You can count on it, Mr. Ryun."

Slash and Gregory enter the elevator, and Gregory leans against Slash. Slash notices that Gregory seems a bit tired.

"We've reached the floor of my apartment," he informs.

When they step out of the elevator, Slash says, "Hold on," and carries Gregory in his arms. Gregory feels embarrassed but finds the situation funny.

"You're a sweetheart, you know that?" he comments.

"I just want to make you happy," Slash replies.

Slash opens the apartment door with a gentle force, and Gregory gets down from his arms, observing everything in admiration. He notices that everything is clean and new.

"What do you think?" Slash asks.

Gregory is still fascinated, silent, and Slash waves in front of him.

"Oh, hi, what?!" Gregory realizes he was questioned by Slash.

"Are you alright?" Slash asks.

Gregory finally regains his composure and responds, "Yes, I'm fine. I'm just a little impressed with your apartment. It's incredible."

Slash smiles, clearly happy with Gregory's reaction.

"I'm glad you like it. I wanted to bring you here to show you a bit more about myself," Slash explains.

Gregory agrees with a smile.

"I'd love to learn more about you," he replies.

Slash takes Gregory's hand and guides him through the house, showing each detail and explaining the story behind each object. Gregory feels closer to Slash with each passing moment.

After a while, Slash takes Gregory to the balcony, where they can see the illuminated city below. Gregory approaches the edge and looks down, feeling a bit dizzy.

Slash notices the change in Gregory's expression and gets closer, enveloping him in a protective embrace.

"Are you alright?" he asks. "You don't have to look down if you don't want to."

Gregory calms down in Slash's embrace and takes a deep breath.

"I'm okay. It's just... the view is amazing," he says.

Slash smiles and kisses Gregory's forehead.

"I want you to feel safe here with me. Always," he promises.

Gregory smiles and snuggles closer in Slash's embrace, feeling truly safe for the first time in a long while.

Slash stays in his thoughts for a moment and realizes it's time to talk about that situation. Earlier, he had knocked a man into the trash just by pointing his finger.

"Gregory, I need to talk about something from earlier," he announces.

"Sure, let's sit down," Gregory suggests.

"Alright," Slash says, sighing for a moment as Gregory holds his hand and gently kisses his lips.

He feels a great relief, acknowledging how special Gregory is.

"Do you know about the gemstone on my forehead?" he asks Gregory.

"Yes, I do. When you were a child, I thought it was odd, but nowadays, I think it suits you well," Gregory admits.

"Could you touch it for me?" Slash requests.

Gregory becomes confused.

"Yes, but why?"

"Just touch it, you'll understand," Slash replies.

Gregory delicately caresses the gemstone on Slash's forehead, following Slash's instructions, when suddenly the gemstone emits a bright light. Slash's dark blue hair transforms into long silver strands, and his once ordinary ears become pointed. Gregory is amazed and bewildered by this incredible transformation.

"But... but... how is this possible?" he asks.

"It's a long story, my love," Slash responds, smiling.

Gregory pauses for a moment, allowing himself to reflect on the situation while taking a deep breath. In that instant, Slash gently holds Gregory's hand, providing comfort. Slash sighs before starting to speak, searching for the right words.

Slash: It's hard to know where to begin... The truth is, I'm not from this planet. I originate from a place called Pilares. My parents came here with the intention of making an investment, but we ended up staying here.

Gregory watches attentively, absorbing every word, while a restlessness grows within him.

Slash: The day we met and became friends, when I lived near your house, was the happiest day of my life. I remember mentioning once about the place I lived before, and you laughed quite a lot.

Gregory lowers his head in complete silence. Suddenly, his eyes light up with intense joy, as if they are about to burst with emotion.

Gregory: Why didn't you tell me before, Slash? You know I can keep secrets.

Slash is surprised by how well Gregory is handling the revelation and starts laughing at the situation. He didn't expect such a positive reaction.

Slash: I thought you'd be angry with me for not telling you earlier, maybe even give me some ear pinches. I'm relieved that you're taking it so well.

Gregory: I always knew you and your family had a secret, but I never imagined it was something this big. I'm glad you trust me enough to share this. I know it must have been difficult dealing with this situation alone.

Slash feels embarrassed but also relieved to share this information with Gregory. He looks at the clock and realizes it's getting late.

Gregory: I want to know more about the place you came from. But now it's late, and I'm tired. Where can I sleep? On the couch or in the bed? But, there's a problem if I sleep on the couch; we'll be in separate places. (He becomes a little embarrassed).

Slash: I promise to explain everything soon. As for the place to sleep, you can stay in bed with me. Don't worry about it.

Slash gently carries Gregory in his arms, and within a few seconds, he sees him fall asleep. Carefully, he places him softly on the bed and lies down beside him. While Gregory sleeps peacefully, Slash gazes at him with tenderness, gently stroking his hair. In a soft whisper, Slash murmurs, "I promise to protect you."

The hooded figure remains silent, taking a few steps toward a picture of Gregory and Ayano on the wall.

Mysterious: So, this is the boy... I see how he has grown.

Ayano, furious, responds: Don't touch my things, and don't say anything about my son.

The hooded figure approaches Ayano and touches him, causing intense pain. A dark mark appears on his arm, and Ayano kneels in agony.

Mysterious: Enough games, Ayano. We want the boy.

Ayano grabs his phone and throws it on the floor, shattering it into pieces.

Ayano: No, you won't take my son. He won't pay for my mistake.

The mysterious figure retorts: Then it will be worse for you. Die. (He points his hands toward Ayano)

Ayano lunges at the hooded figure.

Ayano is thrown against the wall, his clothes torn to shreds. The mysterious figure says, "You've always been a brave man; that's why I admire your determination," while removing the hood.

Ayano spits blood in the face of the mysterious figure and says, "You've been the worst choice I ever made... They sent you to erase me, didn't they?"

The mysterious figure caresses Ayano's face and replies, "It was expected, wasn't it? They never fully recovered from what you did at the lab."

Ayano retorts, "I would do it all over again. I just hope all of you rot." He turns his face away, refusing to look at the mysterious figure. The figure bends down, and everything starts to fade away as something drips down the wall. The mysterious figure leaves the house, his cloak now stained. Suddenly, another member of the cult appears.

Cult Member kneels before Mysterious and says, "Lord D, I've come to inform you that the boy hasn't been found."

Mysterious D responds calmly, "That's alright. For now, tell the others not to approach or search for the boy. Now that Ayano has been dealt with, humans will be watching everything."

The cult member nods in agreement and, in the blink of an eye, disappears like the wind, carrying with it the leaves of that night.

Gregory, still sleepy, realizes he's not in his own house. He touches around the bed, noticing Slash's absence by his side. Meanwhile, he hears a sound coming from the bathroom. Curious, Gregory sees the door slowly opening, revealing Slash shirtless and all wet after taking a bath.

Gregory: I had almost forgotten that I was sleeping here in your apartment. (a bit embarrassed)

Slash: You were sleeping so peacefully, I preferred not to wake you. (embarrassed)

Gregory picks up his phone to check if his dad sent any messages and puts it back on the shelf. Meanwhile, Slash looks for clothes and asks if there's any problem changing in front of him. Gregory blushes and responds, "Of course not, go ahead."

Gregory observes carefully every detail of Slash's body and notices some scars scattered across him. Gregory ponders about them, and Slash notices Gregory's gaze on his scars.

Slash: These scars are the result of battles against evil beings in Pilares, my home planet. Compared to Earth, it's full of little inconveniences. Here, it's calmer and more serene.

Gregory: Is Pilares so different from Earth? What are the buildings like, the people? And how do you get there? I have so many questions. (Gregory approaches Slash, curious)

Slash is a bit overwhelmed by Gregory's many questions and accidentally drops his towel to the floor. Gregory turns around, embarrassed, and both end up laughing at the awkward situation.

Gregory, still embarrassed, decides to go to the living room and takes his phone from the shelf. As he walks, he admires the breathtaking view of the sunrise through Slash's apartment window. Checking the messages on his phone, he realizes his dad hasn't notified him yet about how he's doing.

Slash, now dressed, approaches Gregory.

Slash: Do you want something to eat? I can tell you more about the planet Pilares. (He notices the concern in Gregory's eyes)

Gregory: Sure, what do you have in the fridge?

Slash smiles at Gregory and replies: A little bit of everything. Working at my parents' shop, my uncle Ryun stocks my fridge every week since I don't have much time.

Gregory remembers that Mr. Ryun is the security guard at the building entrance.

Gregory: So, Mr. Ryun is your uncle? (with widened eyes)

Slash: Yes, but he doesn't like being called uncle, haha! I only call him that when he's not around.

Slash opens the fridge and lists all the available items: eggs, ham, cheese, butter, ice cream, cake, pudding, among others. In the cupboard, there's bread, snacks, and so on.

Gregory thinks for a moment and asks, "Would it be weird to have ice cream for breakfast?"

Slash grabs two spoons and places the tub on the table, inviting Gregory to share. As they enjoy the ice cream, they talk about various topics. After about 50 minutes of conversation, Gregory gets ready so that Slash can take him back home.

Slash: You look funny in my clothes. (Blushes)

Gregory: They are too big; I think I'll just wear your shirt. It's quite loose, it goes down to my knees.

Slash: That's okay, my dear. I'll borrow my uncle's car since mine is at my parents' store. (Smiles)

Slash: Of course, but only when we can get married. Non-magical beings are prohibited there because of a law created by the great Lordemon.

Gregory feels embarrassed and asks: Do you think about marrying me someday?

Slash realizes he spoke without thinking much and blushes.

Slash: If one day you want to marry me, why not? Hahaha... We're almost at your house.

Gregory: Speaking of marriage, I was thinking... If we had a child, would they be born with your gift?

Slash: Well... I... I mean... possibly they would be a hybrid, part human and part elf.

Slash: You forgot your cellphone in the car. (Slash notices that Gregory is trembling a bit)

Gregory: Thank you. (shaking)

Slash: Is everything okay?

Gregory: I don't know. I just have a bad feeling.

Both enter the house, and Gregory notices that some things are out of place in the living room. Slash notices a red trail coming from a room.

Slash: Gregory, stay behind me.

Gregory trembles, then Slash opens the room and, to his surprise, sees Ayano kneeling, all bruised, holding a notebook. He is lifeless. Gregory widens his eyes and screams "daddyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy"! Slash hugs Gregory tightly and calls the police while Gregory is in despair, crying in his arms. Slash covers Gregory's eyes with his hand. Slash notices the Black Mark on Gregory's father's arm but decides to keep this information to himself.

The police surround Gregory's house as neighbors watch the situation unfold. Gregory can't stop crying and sobbing, while Slash talks to the officers. Slash approaches Gregory.

Slash: They need some information from you, my love. If you don't want to talk now, you can do it later.

Gregory sighs a little.

Gregory: Okay... (sobbing)

Slash signals to the officer to come closer.

Officer: I'm sorry for the incident, my condolences for your father. I need some information...

Gregory: Sure... What can I say...

Officer: What did you do yesterday? Did your father have any enemies?

Gregory takes a deep breath.

Gregory: Yesterday, I spent the night at my boyfriend's house. When I left, my father was happy because I recently got accepted into college. (Gregory starts crying)

Slash holds Gregory's hands as the officer observes the situation.

Officer: How long have you been dating?

Gregory looks at the book, tears flowing like rain. He thanks Tanaka, while Slash comforts him. Officer Tanaka turns and goes to the other police officers, being asked about the clue he gave. He replies that it was Gregory's father's diary and that he made copies of every page.

Slash realizes that everyone is doing the final revisions in the house. He thinks to himself about taking Gregory to spend some time with him at his apartment. He observes Gregory hugging the book and crying. Gregory looks at Slash.

Gregory: I have to arrange my father's funeral... Where do I even begin?

Suddenly, an elegant lady emerges from the crowd and asks, "What's going on here?" She looks at Gregory, called Ayano.

Gregory: I am not my father... (cries)

Slash: Who is this lady?

The elegant woman notices the book in Gregory's hands. The answer is in the book you're holding, young man.

Gregory opens the book and realizes it is filled with photos of his father's life and the time when Gregory was a child. There are various texts and a golden letter between the pages. The elegant woman says, "Read the letter."

Slash approaches Gregory and whispers, "This woman seems to be not from this world. She's possibly from the planet Pilares."

Elegant Woman: Are you going to whisper about me here? Open the letter, Gregory.

Gregory: How do you know my name? How do you know my father?

The elegant woman looks around and snaps her fingers. Suddenly, a letter appears in her hand. Gregory is startled as the letter that was with him is now in the woman's hand.

Slash is about to transform into his elf form. The elegant woman reads the letter aloud: "Ayano, I'm coming to spend a few days with you, my godson. I'm sorry for being absent for these 6 years; a lot has changed during this time. I wish you to return to work at Lordemon Mansion, like in the old times. With Love, Maggies."

Gregory and Slash are shocked. Gregory becomes emotional, crying heavily, and embraces his godmother. He tells her, sobbing, that his father has passed away. Maggie is completely shocked to receive the devastating news of Ayano's death. Her eyes fill with tears, and her body freezes, unable to grasp the reality. Grief overwhelms her, leaving a deep void in her heart. Ayano's loss is an unexpected blow, rendering Maggie speechless and in immense pain.
