Introduction
Even if you are reading this story after its completion or ongoing please do like and comment on every chapter, it will make me to think at least people are reading my work.....
And, as I like South Indian culture even though I am North Indian, And I heard that in some states of South India cross cousins marriage is allowed, So that is why I am writing this story.And i might be North Indian but I am using tamil relattions to address the people here and some dialogues will be in hindi so cause I don't know tamil that well💀
And yes, this whole story is my pure imagination, it has nothing to do with reality.
A cute, fluffy love story between two individuals who are emotionally connected to each other but not aware of each other's feelings for one another.
This story revolves around Arjun and Durga who are cousins by relation in the eyes of society but not blood related.
Because Durga's parents had died when she was 3 years old, then Arjun's bua (Father's sister) had adopted her as she was the daughter of her husband's brother.
Arjun, is a twenty-five years old bachelor, attractive, Fun-loving, handsome and hard-working man whose love life is blank as white paper, working in a well known Multinational Company as a manager. He is intelligent and helps everyone in need That's why everyone in the company likes him and respects him a lot because of his kind nature.
He is residing in the rented apartment away from his family and looks after his works, himself.
From having good, supportive parents to the bunch of relatives who care for him, he also possesses young, naughty and mischievous cousins and one younger brother for himself in his native place.
He is the eldest in all of them.
He belongs to the beautiful village which held all the sweet memories of his childhood.
Durga, Adopted daughter of Arjun's bua (Father's sister) in relation to one of Arjun's cousins. A sweet, bubbly and naive, twenty years old girl, pursuing her undergraduate degree in one of the colleges within a little distance of her village.
A dark skinned girl whose life revolves around her family with a bunch of innocence.
She loves to read and dance and live with her family in the village, she also has one elder sister who is already married and living in her in law's house.
As Durga is a dark skinned girl which possibly gets her to hear a lot of taunts from outsiders as well as from her relatives especially her grandma who actually despises a dark skin toned girl.
*Here her grandma refers to Arjun's grandma
Chapter.1
Today is the birthday of one of my colleagues. that's why we have come to the club to celebrate his birthday.
Rehaan
Damn, bro she looks hot don't you think, so
I looked at Rehaan who was sitting beside me and looking somewhere with a gaze.
Arjun
*looked at rehaan* *confused*
I didn't understand what he meant, so I looked the way he was looking and damn that's for sure something.
There is a girl sitting two tables far from us with a class of juice in her hand and sipping it gracefully.
Arjun
*looking at her* (Beautiful)
Rehaan
She is beautiful isn't she?*looked towards Arjun and smirked*

*avert his gaze from her and looking somewhere*

Hmm*casually said and drank his wine*

Even though she is beautiful, I am not the type of man who will be interested in a girl's beauty more than her personality.

If u don't want her then stay here I am gonna try my luck with who knows she will be whipped for me*smirked and start adjusting his clothes and left from there*
I shook my head and looked in the direction he went, curious to know what will happen

He then whispered something in her ear for which she also smiled and started talking in the friendly manner maintaining a good amount of distance. Then rehaan looked at me with a proud face as he won the lottery. Looks Like he got her attention.

He is such a flirt, almost flirts with every girl in company, or in club just by looking at their beautiful faces *looking at rehaan*

Well, that's how he is *sigh is dissatisfaction*
Well I really can't deny this statement because he sure is like this, he might be my friend, but I don't support this behavior.

Arjun and his friends were sitting on their table enjoying their night.

Yeah, I know that it was for his own good but why was he even refusing to accept that offer*asked Akshay*

You don't know he was hitting on the Director's daughter and his daughter fell for that idiot so Director gave him that offer to send him out of the country*said while drinking his wine*

But he made a great excuse by saying that he loves his family too much and can't even stay away from them, so he declined the offer*looked at Arjun*

By the way you also live apart from ur family don't u miss ur family?*asked Arjun*

*look at Akshay with so many emotions in his eyes* you can't even imagine how difficult it is for me to live away from my family I never thought after studying so much I had to live alone leaving my family but still it's not that bad it's just that I miss them too much sometimes especially my grandma, and naughty cousins*smiled remembering them*

And anyways, I am always taking a leave every 4 months to visit my hometown and to spend my time with them and also sometimes my family comes here to visit me.*said while looking at them*

It's good man you have such a great family with a bunch of relatives who care for u and ur lovely cousins you sure are very lucky to get such a large family*said to Arjun*

Yeah I am I am sure so lucky to get such a wonderful family*chuckled remembering his family*
When they were talking someone angrily came to their table and banged his wine glass on the table angrily.

*Angrily put his wine glass on the table* *sit beside Arjun*

Oo bro calm down What happened why you look so angry*asked him patting his shoulder*

*looked at Arjun and said* She freaking showed her heels to me and told me to get lost and not to show my face to her😥*told him in the painful voice and inaudible tone*
