"Mom, I don't want to marry a guy who I haven't met even once. Moreover he is a sociopath." Eva shouted. Eva's mother Marian was already upset as she had no say in this matter.

"Baby you know I can't fight with your father. Please don't make this hard. Just get ready for your wedding ceremony." Marian said in a low tone.

Suddenly Lucas William entered the room. "What is all this? Eva why aren't you ready yet."

"Cause I don't wanna get married"

"Eva stop all this nonsense. Our company is going bankrupt and my friend Beau Evan has agreed to help me. All he wants is you as his daughter-in-law. What is so wrong? Anthony is the eldest son and soon going to have the whole Evan empire. You would be happy"

"Dad, did I ever tell you I need a rich man ? I have always listened to you. But marriage with a man whom I don't even know and who is a well known sociopath. Seriously? You literally sold me for money dad" Eva cried.

Lucas was furious. "Don't talk nonsense. Just get ready".

Lucas left the room with Marian to prepare for

the wedding.

"Company my foot! I am not getting married

to someone for money. " Eva said while crying badly .

Eva was wearing a long white dress and two makeup artists were in the room getting her ready. After the makeup artists finished their work and left. Eva decided to run away. Without catching any attention Eva ran out of the house with her purse in wedding gown. She decided to leave the city and go to one of her friend's houses which was in the countryside.

Eva was running on the street of the city catching a lot of attention. But she kept running to reach the metro station. While running suddenly a black car stopped her by stopping before her. She realised it was to catch her. She started running backward and suddenly crashed into someone. She was going to fall but the man in black suit held her hand and saved her from falling.

EVA POV:

The man was wearing a black suit. He had brown eyes black hair and was about 6ft 3 inches Where I was only 5ft 2 inches.

The man said "Girl you are really a trouble". His voice was really deep and heavy. It wasn't really hard for me to understand that he was none other than Anthony Evan.

2 hours ago:

"Anthony don't make things complicated. Eva is a really nice girl. She is my friend's daughter. And perfect for you" Beau exclaimed.

Anthony replied, "Mr. Evan if she is so perfect just let her marry your other son. Because he really loves messing with girls. And I am not interested in marriage at the moment."

"Did you see how your son kept insulting Garry? Did I raise him so he can criticise my son?" Rena shouted who was Anthony's step mother and Beau's second wife.

Garry was her and Beau's second son. He was a well known brat who kept creating trouble. Rena and Garry both hated Anthony and the feeling was mutual.

"Shut up Rena! And Anthony My decision is final . If you don't marry Eva remember I am not gonna give you a single penny. I know you worked hard for years. But it will be all in vain. Don't try to challenge me." Said Beau.

"I don't know anything but Eva is the one I chose and you have to marry her. Give me a grandchild and I will make you the CEO of the company and give you 65% of Evan enterprise."

Is this some kind of joke? Anthony thought. But there was nothing he could do. He worked hard for the company which was left by his mother. And he definitely needed to acquire the company as he didn't want to spare a single penny for his stepmom and step brother.

"Sir, it seems like Eva William ran away" suddenly the secretary of Beau entered the hall of Evan house. "Mr. William called and asked to delay the wedding ceremony for some hours sir".

Beau looked tense. "Go and find her Anthony. Remember You have to get married to her."

Anthony was pissed with this. But he had no choice. So he took out his black Bentley and also told his bodyguard to find Eva in another car.

Anthony was passing through the road in his car and saw a girl was running in white dress . His bodyguard who was in the car in front of him stopped the car in front of the girl by which Anthony was confirmed that the girl was Eva.

Anthony held Eva's arm tightly and dragged her to his car. Threw her in the passenger seat. Eva was literally screaming and crying .....

Eva tried to run away by opening the car door but Anthony locked it using the key and quickly sat inside the car. He started the car and was going at a speed of 120 km/hour. Eva who was crying and screaming suddenly stopped and thought to negotiate with Anthony.

"How can you marry a girl who you have never met? A rich and eligible man like you will find any other girl so can't you just let me go?" Eva said in a pleading voice.

"I know I can have any girl but I want you. Why would I let you go? You seem to be really fun to tame." Anthony said in a low voice without giving any glance to Eva.

Eva was so pissed and kinda felt insulted. What does he mean by tame? Is she a pet? How disrespectful it is to say to a girl that she is easy to tame. It's like she is a wild dog. A girl who was actually treated like a princess never really had to hear this type of thing.

"Huh! So you really are an obnoxious and narcissist human. The news was actually not wrong at all. Insulting others is such a common thing for you right?."Eva said .

"So you watched news about me and investigated me before this marriage?. Ah now I understand even after we haven't met each other once how you recognize me. And why you don't want to get married." Anthony said with a poker face.

Eva realised that she just provoked Anthony so to save the situation she said "I did watch the news but it was about your business deal that you successfully completed recently and was praised because of you being so talented at such a young age. I know you from that news. It had an impact on our nation's economy too."

"Even I watched the news. But I didn't hear any words like obnoxious and narcissist in that news." Anthony replied.

"Listen Anthony the main thing is I am not interested in you. Please just call this wedding off. I beg of you. " Eva was helpless and had nothing else to do except begging to Anthony.

"I really hate it when people nag. Especially when I am driving. Just shut your mouth. And if you don't wanna get married, ask your dad not to sell you." Anthony told in a cold voice.

Now this really hit Eva hard. What Anthony said wasn't wrong. Her father was actually selling her for his own profit. She went silent. She kept thinking about her life. Truly saying though she was treated like a princess she was always confined in her palace. Her friends were chosen by their skills and background. She couldn't have her favourite food. She was always forced to behave like a noble lady. She never experienced a normal teenage life. During vacation when her classmates were having fun she had to take Piano lessons, learn French, learn cooking and singing. She never once complained about it thinking when she gets married she will do what she wants. But it was like her family was actually getting her ready to sell her for a profitable business.

While thinking all this she didn't realise when they reached the wedding hall. It was one of the most expensive halls of the city. Anthony took the car to the backdoor of the hall . He got out of the car. While Eva was sitting like a statue in the car. Anthony opened the door of the passenger seat and dragged her out while holding her arm...

At the back door Lucas was standing with Marian. The moment Eva and Anthony entered the hall Lucas slapped Eva. "How dare you run away? Don't you have any conscience?"

Eva didn't said anything. on the other hand Anthony quickly left Eva with her parents and entered the hall to inform Baeu that he bought Eva.

Eva was standing blankly." Listen Eva, you need to understand dad needs your help. Without this deal our company will go bankrupt. What will we do then? Don't forget you have a younger brother. His future depends on the company." Lucas said with a concerning voice.

Eva's brother Mack was studying in America. It was really noticable that for Lucas, Mack was really important. As he was the son of the William family. Marian ask Eva to go inside in a low voice. "Eva don't make things any hard. Go meet uncle Baeu and Aunt Rena Apologize to them for causing so much ruckus. "

Eva went inside the hall with Lucas to meet Baeu.

Seeing Eva, Baeu came forward and said "Eva I know dear it must be hard for you to accept this proposal. But Anthony is really a great man. He will keep you happy. I know people doesn't really think highly of him. But he is really a good child."

Like who would think highly of a man who was really famous for his obnoxious and narcissist behavior. Anthony started working when he was only 21. As it was his own company there wasn't really a problem. In 2 years he really achieved a lot for both the company and his career. Without enjoying his time he always used to study or work. At the age of 23, for the first time he won the best CEO award and has been winning it for three consecutive years. He was the youngest to take this CEO award. This year Anthony will turn 26 and will definitely be one of the most young CEO who achieve so much success. Definitely he was a reason Evan empire is one of the largest business empire.

Last year in the a award function many Actress and Actors were also invited. A famous actress tried to take her shot and approached Anthony. She kept pestering him to have a drink. Anthony didn't like to talk to people without any reason at all. As he got irritated, he took a glass of red wine threw it on her face and told her "I don't like whores." and left. The actress was quite famous so it actually made a headline on the news next day.

This wasn't the only controversy.

On Baeu's 52th birthday Anthony hit a famous politician who was invited to the party. Because the politician was being a bit too nosy to ask him about his personal life and proposing him to be his son-in-law. As the politician was a bit drunk when Anthony rejected and wanted to leave the politician said something about Anthony's mom and he lost it. This was the second big controversy of Anthony Evan. Of course he came out clean even after hitting a politician. He is Anthony Evan.
