Was that a roar? Kelly froze just as she was bending to put down the package.
This was definitely the right address, no doubt about it.
But why was there someone roaring inside.
She dropped the package by the door, deciding she was getting out of there, and just as she turned to go down the steps, the door flew open.
The third roar that came out, whatever was standing behind her, was so loud, the hands over her ears didn't even help.
The floor board under her feet vibrated.
It left her ears ringing and she cried out in pain.
She turned, hands still covering her ears, even though the sound had died and froze again
Her mouth dropped open... like literally just feel open.
It wasn't the fact that he was a guy and a very tall one that had her frozen in place.
He...was... huge... And that wasn't all. Her wide eyes took in the metal at the sides of his face down his arms and legs.
was he wearing some sort of armor?
Maybe he was cos playing or something?
It literally looked real coming out of his arm
Her attention was drawn up to his face, when he sniffed the air, took a deep breath, and flared his nostrils.
Then his eyes landed on her and the way it glowed made her jump back.

Kelly turned and ran down the steps
Her foot didn't even make it to the ground when she was lifted up, her legs still doing running motions in the air
Kelly screamed trying to get away from him
His arms were like steel, no they were steel or some metal, because when her eyes landed on them, she could see where it was coming out of his skin.
Just the image and thought of someone being like that and the understanding that he wasn't human, and he had her, brought so much fear, her mind and body just shut down and she fainted.

There was a knock on the door
The door swung open with such force it vibrated the whole house.
Jace stood there growling
Seth raised his hands taking in Jace's aggression.

There's a UPS vehicle parked outside your house three days now, and we smell female, we're a little concerned.
Jace
Jace looked between him and Travis
Travis
Jace we know you've got a female up in there. We just want to make sure she's okay.
Jace
No one's coming in here

The female is mine, and she's okay.
Travis
Jace you know that's not how it works with us. You've been unstable a few months now. I'm you're superior and I'm asking you to let us in.
His pecs started to increase in size. Lumps traveled down his biceps to his fingers and they started to extend

You think I'd hurt her?
Travis
We don't think you'll do so intentionally Jace, but it could happen
Jace's body increased in size.
His fingers changed into metal talons
His face elongating, with small metal plates, overlapping like shingles, appearing and disappearing.
Tremors ran through his body
A female scream came from within the house
Jace's head whipped around to the sound and Travis and Seth used that moment to charge him
Travis' hands clamped around Jace's thick neck, lifting him off the ground, turning to steel at the same time.
Seth ran past and followed the scent trail of the female.
He kicked open the bedroom door that was locked and found the female delirious on the bed

Jace what did you do?
Seth muttered to himself, checking her pulse
