Aurora stood before her closet, Thinking what to wear for the office party. As she browsed through her clothes, she reminded herself not to overdo it while still looking presentable. Although she didn't feel like going to the party, it was important for her career.
However, her heart felt heavy with sadness as she remembered that it had been exactly five years since she left her beloved birthplace, New York, and came to San Francisco, leaving behind the most important person in her life.

Despite her mixed feelings, she pushed them aside and focused on getting ready. After carefully selecting an outfit that struck the right balance of elegance and simplicity, she looked at herself in the mirror, giving herself a nod of approval.
Grabbing her car keys, she made her way to the venue…
As Aurora stood there, wishing for the party to be over, she noticed her friend Noah walking towards her. They had been friends since high school, and Noah had been a tremendous help when Aurora first moved to San Francisco.
