20,000 years after the Tenma War, the Central world had advanced on an unprecedented scale. The world had united as one and traversed multiple stars and galaxies that exist in the vast expanse of space.

The people of the Central world had obtained vast knowledge, which could be said to be the pinnacle of wisdom.

The Octagram had been known throughout the Multiverse as The Guardians of Reality, those who protect the balance of powers.

Each member had their own universe to look after as their new territory.

And all of that happened because of the leadership of one person, Rimuru Tempest himself. With his leadership, even the prideful demons bowed down to him. However, there was something he could never forget, a regret that haunted him even after 20,000 years.

He had experienced many hellos and goodbyes, but there was one hello and one goodbye that he could never forget: not being able to save his destined one, Shizue Izawa. After the Tenma War, he tried to move on by releasing Shizue's soul back to the cycle of reincarnation. But after so many years, he came to realize that Shizue had left a big hole in his heart.

"Even after all of these years, I still can't forget about you, Shizu-san," Rimuru said as he looked at the mask that Shizue left him, a memento that holds his, Shizue's, and Chloe's memories.

"It's funny how an immortal being like me is tied down by my memories,"

Rimuru reflected. He remembered all the things he tried to do to forget Shizue. He tried to immerse himself in work, conquer planet after planet, but no matter what he did, he couldn't escape Shizue's memories. He couldn't even bring himself to love someone, even though many people, like Shuna, Shion, Hinata, Chloe, and Luminous, expressed their love for him. But he didn't accept their love because he wanted to give his love to her, the only person he had fallen for.

"Maybe if I were stronger during our first meeting, I would have been able to save you," Rimuru murmured as he closed his eyes to sleep after a long day of work, hoping that tomorrow would be a better day.

The sun started to rise from the horizon, indicating a new day, a new beginning for the people of the Central World.

Rimuru opened his eyes and took a look at his surroundings. He went to the bathroom to clean himself, and when he looked at his reflection in the mirror, he couldn't help but remember Shizue once more.

The day went on as usual for Rimuru. He did his work, looked around town, and spent his remaining free time on the hill where he made a tombstone for Shizue.

He rested there until a voice echoed in his head.

[Master, are you okay?]

"I'm fine, Ciel."

Ciel knew that even if her Master said that he was fine, she could feel loneliness from him.

[Master, I have a suggestion.]

"What kind?"

[Master, you should take a break from governing Tempest. I will handle your work here while I reincarnate you to a place where you can relax.]

"Hmm... I see. I guess it's not bad to take a break once in a while... alright, do it, Ciel."

[As you wish, Master.]

Ciel came out of Rimuru with the same appearance, the only difference being her crimson red eyes.

[Have fun, Master.] Ciel said with a smile on her face.

"See you soon, Ciel."

Rimuru's body got covered in a dazzling white light and soon disappeared. After Rimuru got reincarnated successfully, a smile formed on Ciel's face.

[Master, I hope you will find her there.] Ciel said as she looked at the pile of stones by her side.

Location: Karakura Town, Kurosaki residence.

A boy with silver-blueish hair can be seen walking with four bags of groceries in his hands. He stops in front of a house with a clinic in front.

"Yuzu, Karin, I'm home."

"Ahh, welcome home, Rimuru-nii."

"Welcome home, Nii-san."

Two young girls greeted his return. One had short black hair and somehow had a tomboyish attitude, while the other girl had brown hair and an emergency attitude.

"Yuzu, I bought the things you asked for."

Rimuru handed over one bag of groceries to Yuzu.

"Are you going to eat here, Nii-san?" Yuzu asks.

"Yup, I'll eat here. Let me just put my groceries in the fridge back at my house," Rimuru said and went to his house next door.

On his way, he can see a spirit that has chains on its chest, running around. Ever since his reincarnation, he could see the spirits of this world. He could even see monster spirits known as Hollows and those that fight them off, the Shinigami, but Rimuru ignores it all as if nothing is happening and lives his life as a normal person.

Until one day, his twin brother Ichigo had a fateful encounter with a Shinigami that gave him the power to become one.

Ichigo got involved in many things with the Soul Society. During that time, Rimuru saw how his twin brother fought extremely powerful foes, but he didn't interfere. However, one day he got caught in a situation that Ichigo saw him saving their classmates. Of course, Rimuru didn't use his powers, so Ichigo thought that he just had strong spiritual energy that allowed him to see ghosts, spirits, as well as Shinigami and Hollows.

That led Ichigo to tell him that from time to time, he goes out to fight off Hollows and the one who was in his body was a modified soul known by the name of Kon.

After putting all of his groceries in his home, Rimuru went back to the Kurosaki Residence where his idiot father, his twin brother, and his two sisters lived.

On his way, he was sighing since he bought a house using his own money to live alone, and guess what? He didn't expect that the house he bought was just next to his family's house.

"Well, I guess that's what I get for not even checking the location of the house that I bought," Rimuru said with a sigh.

A day had passed, and Rimuru woke up in his bed. He looked at the window and saw the bright yellow sun. He headed downstairs of his house and started to cook breakfast. Since there was no school at the moment, Yuzu and Karin often came to his house to eat lunch, and, of course, with the two of them coming here, his problematic father would also come.

"GOOD MORNING, RIMURU!" His father jumped in front of him while he was cooking.

"SHUT UP, OLD MAN," Rimuru said and kicked him, which made his father do a dramatic fall to the ground.

"Rimuru-nii, what are your plans for today?" Karin asked.

"I don't have any plans, so I'll just stay here, I guess," he said as he continued to cook their breakfast.

"I see, then can we use the backyard later?"

"Yeah, sure."

Rimuru then served their breakfast and noticed that Ichigo was not with them. He asked why and learned that he was still catching some ZZZ's.

The afternoon fell with nothing much happening; Rimuru was just on his couch watching TV until his doorbell rang.

Rimuru headed to the door and opened it.

"Who is it?" Rimuru asked. After he opened it, he saw Ichigo, or at least his human body.

"You're Ichigo... no, you're Kon. Why are you here?"

"Listen to me, Rimuru. I swear I just found her on the ground in a parking lot while unconscious," Kon said.

"Dude, if you're going to kidnap someone, at least make your alibi believable."

"I'm telling the truth, and I didn't kidnap her... do you think I would kidnap someone?"

"Yes, if it comes to a pretty lady, I can guess you would do that."

"I won't, and help me, she's heavy," Kon said.

Rimuru then took the sleeping girl and princess-carried her back to a vacant room, putting the green-haired girl on the bed.

"She's beautiful. Wait, what are you thinking, Rimuru? People will think of you as a pervert if they know what you're thinking," Rimuru thought as he looked at the sleeping girl, not noticing that she was *****, covered only by a white cloth.

"Really, Kon? You even covered her with a thick layer of cloth."

"Ah, I warned you not to do that if I were you."

Kon tried to warn Rimuru, but it came too late since Rimuru had already lifted the white cloth, and he saw the body of a ***** girl.

His face instantly turned red, and he immediately covered the girl with a blanket.

"You shit! You didn't tell me that she was *****."

"I did tell you, it just came in late."

"You... little..." Rimuru didn't get to finish his words since Kon ran out of his house.

"That little... *sigh*... I should call Ichigo. I think this has a connection to Soul Society."

Rimuru then took his phone from his pocket and called Ichigo.

(Hello, Brother, why did you call me?)

"Ichigo, there's something that you have to see. Bring your Shinigami girlfriend with you and come to my house."

(For the last time, Rukia isn't my girlfriend.)

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you said. Just come here to my house and bring Rukia with you."

After a while of waiting, Ichigo and Rukia arrived at Rimuru's house.

And Rimuru showed them the sleeping girl that Kon brought home.

"So Kon kidnapped her?" Ichigo asked Rimuru.

"I thought so too. I wanted to beat that dull guy so bad."

"You two, wait. She isn't normal."

"What do you mean, Rukia?"

"I can't feel anything from her, no spiritual energy or whatsoever."

"So you're saying that she ain't human?"

"I'm not sure, Rimuru, but can we let her stay in your house for a short time while I report this?"

"Well, sure. My house is big enough for another person."

"Thank you." Rukia then submitted a report, and she also got an order to return to Seireitei with Ichigo.

"Well, we have to go. See you later," Ichigo said and disappeared with Rukia.

"Those two really get along. I wonder if they are dating," Rimuru said and headed back to the first floor, looking at his fridge and noticing that he is running out of soda that he likes so much.

"Maybe I should go and buy some."

He then walked out of his home to buy some.

After a few hours, he finished buying one case of soda, and on his way home, he noticed a giant Hollow in front of him.

"Hmm, looks like there's no Shinigami nearby. Maybe I should take care of it," Rimuru said and took out his Katana from storage.

He removed his Katana from its scabbard, and the pitch-black blade resembled the vast expanse of the void.

"I don't want to draw any attention, but I also don't want any innocent souls to be eaten by those Hollows. So, let's finish you off fast."

Rimuru then ran off with a speed that was faster than the eyes could see. With one swift dash, Rimuru made his way in front of the giant Hollow that was five times his size.

"You're one big guy." Rimuru jumped at the height of the Hollow and swung his Katana down, slicing the Hollow in half. Immediately, its body disappeared, and its soul went back to the cycle of reincarnation.

"Welp, time to go home."

After he returned home, he noticed that the TV was on, and someone was watching from the couch.

"You're awake!"

The girl with green hair looked at Rimuru without saying anything.

"You know it's rude not to reply when someone is talking to you..."

"Don't talk to me, pervert."

"Look, I..."

"Don't talk to me, pervert."

*Sigh* "Fine, if you don't want to talk, then don't." Rimuru then put his soda in the fridge, took out some ingredients for lunch, and started to cook.

The aroma of his cooking filled the room, and even the green-haired girl was drawn to the smell of his cooking.

"You know it's rude to stare at someone."

"Pervert, pervert, pervert, pervert."

Rimuru had veins popping from his forehead.

"Look, stop calling me a pervert. I didn't even do anything for you to call me that."

"You're breathing the same air as me, so that makes you a pervert."

"What kind of logic is that? Anyway, here." Rimuru gave a plate of food to the green-haired girl.

"Eat up," Rimuru said, also eating his own food that he cooked for the two of them.

The green-haired girl was hesitant but ultimately gave in to her desires to have a taste of Rimuru's cooking.

"What's your name?" Rimuru asked, but the girl didn't answer and continued to eat.

Rimuru let it go since he didn't like pressing for information from someone who didn't want to speak.

After eating, Rimuru took the dishes and washed them off.

"Nozomi."

"Hmm?"

"My name is Nozomi... Nozomi Kujo. That's my name; don't forget it."

"I see. My name is Rimuru... Korosaki Rimuru. Nice to meet you, Nozomi-chan," Rimuru said with a smile.

Two days had passed since Ichigo left, and since then Rimuru had no idea what had happened in Soul Society.

Everything was under control except for...

"Pervert, leave this house now!"

"You, I brought you here since I saw you on the road, and you're not even gonna thank me?"

"Pervert!"

Nozomi and Kon had been arguing for about 10 minutes now, and Rimuru had enough of that, so he decided to go out for a bit.

"Nozomi, Kon, I'll go out for a bit. Is there anything you two would like me to buy?" Rimuru asked.

"Then I'll have that thing called Soda," Nozomi said.

"Then I'll have a..."

"Alright, I know what you want, Kon. I'll be back in a few hours," Rimuru said and walked towards the door.

"Kon, don't let anyone take Nozomi without my permission," Rimuru said before walking outside.

While walking outside, he could hear Kon continuing his facade.

Night had fallen, and Rimuru had yet to return. By that time, when Rimuru was out of the house, someone came to his house.

*Ding Dong*

"I'm coming!" Kon, who was in Ichigo's body, rushed off to see who that was.

He was expecting Rimuru, who had left the house, but once he opened the door, he was greeted by three individuals.

Two of whom were familiar to him because those two were Lieutenants from soul Society, but the other one he didn't know.

"Who might you be?"

"I take it you are Korosaki Ichigo-san's soul pill?"

"I see you've heard of me, huh? Aren't you guys---"

"We are here from Seireitei."

"We understand that you have a Shinigami named Kujo Nozomi here and have come to take her into our care."

"Kujo Nozomi? Take her into care?"

Kon remembered the words of Rimuru, or more specifically, his orders to him, "don't let anyone take Nozomi without my permission."

"Ahh, sorry, but there's no one named Nozomi here."

"Playing a fool won't help. Where is she?"

"Nozomi, run! Get out of here!" Kon yelled, and Nozomi, who was on the second floor of the house, heard it and immediately ran off.

The three heard a noise from upstairs and immediately ran off to where Nozomi was, but before they could arrive, she was already gone.

"She escaped!" the two used Shunpo to chase Nozomi.

"This is bad, bad, bad, bad," Kon took off running and chased after Nozomi.

Meanwhile, Rimuru was walking on the street.

"My arms hurt. I didn't expect those punks to chase me all day long. That Ichigo should have chosen his enemies. Even I'm getting dragged into his problems."

You might be asking what happened to Rimuru. Well, to make it simple, he had been chased all over the place by those people who wanted to Pay back Ichigo, and that left Rimuru no choice but to fight them all.

On his way, he saw a person with spiky orange hair.

"Huh, isn't that Kon?"

Rimuru looked ahead and saw that Nozomi was being chased by two Shinigami.

"What in the world?"

Rimuru was confused, but he ran off to where Nozomi and the two Shinigami were going.

He took out Tempest since he had a feeling that he would need it.

Nozomi ran off to an abandoned factory after she lost the two Shinigami who were chasing her.

She stopped running to catch her breath and looked at her surroundings.

"Hey, are you alright?"

Kon was running towards Nozomi, but before he could reach her, he was struck by three lights that sealed his movement.

"You struggling is in vain. Did you truly think you could escape me?"

Nozomi was frightened by the person who was in front of her.

The person tried to make her lose consciousness by using his silver cane to strike the girl's abdomen, but a light arrow interrupted him.

"I won't move if I were you," a man with glasses appeared, and he was holding a bow made of light.

"Forcing a girl to go with you against her will isn't what I'd call good behavior."

"Your Uryu Ishida," Kon said while Nozomi was also being cornered by the other two Soul Reapers.

"Hadou #4: Byakurai!" a lightning bolt appeared from the guy's cane and went towards Uryu, but before the lightning could reach Uryu, he disappeared.

"Hirenkyaku...are you a Quincy?...it seems that my humble group has attracted considerable interest."

"I am not interested in you, but I'd appreciate you not bringing your quarrels to this town," Uryu said, and a white blast of energy appeared from behind the guy.

*BOOM*

"Did we get him?" Chad said as he landed next to Uryu.

"I think so."

"Attacking from behind is rather rude, don't you both think?"

Chad and Uryu looked in the direction of the voice and saw the man standing on top of one of the buildings.

"We don't have much time to play...Fall to madness: Raikuu!" his silver cane transformed into a double-headed voulge with red markings on the blades.

He spun his now released Shinkai, and in an instant, Uryu and Chad were cut, but the injuries were not fatal.

"You both can still draw breath?"

"It's his movement, it's not just that he moves too fast, but the way he did before. It's almost as if the moment he moved, he was phased out of reality," Uryu thought while trying to stop the bleeding of his wounds.

"I do apologize if it seems as if I'm toying with your lives. I will let it end now. Hadou #4 Byakurai."

Once again, lightning came out of the guy's palm and made its way towards Uryu and Chad, but before it could reach them, a yellow energy shielded them.

"Ishida-kun, Sado-kun!" Inoue ran over to her two injured friends.

"Oh, another interesting person appeared..."

Before he could continue his words, the two Shinigami appeared with Nozomi in their hands.

"Let me go!" Nozomi said weakly.

"Sorry, but no can do..."

"If she said to let her go, let her go!" a voice rang out, and in the next instant, Nozomi was in another person's Arms.

"And you might be?"

"The name is Rimuru... Korosaki Rimuru."

Rimuru introduced himself while carrying Nozomi in his left hand and holding his black katana in his right.
