Flowers can give us happiness, joy, and can be our stress-reliever. Just looking at its petals, enjoying the smell of it, can already enough for us to make us happy. But there's one "flower" who's really special for me.

Hello, I'm Xian nian sixteen years old from the country X. I was currently studied at the College of country X but for some reason my mother decided to transfer me to another school.(i don't really want to transfer but i have no choice.)

(Monday)

Today was my first day of my new school and I was really nervous because I don't know anything about this school and I don't know even a single student here. So I suppose I'm going to be with my own for now. Anyway, so i arrived at the school and as i walk inside the classroom, all of them keep starring at me.(did i do anything wrong?. This is so awkward i think i should go back outside and wait for the teacher) so i just went back outside and wait for teacher. A few minutes, the teacher came and saw me standing outside the classroom and ask me" hello are you the transferee?" and i said "yes ma'am" and she said "why are you standing here? Go inside the classroom" and i said" i'm sorry ma'am but i'm a bit shy to confront them" and she said "don't be shy, don't worry all your classmates are friendly. By the way, what's your name?" and i said "my name is Xian ma'am" and she said "okay then let's go inside" and so we went inside and teacher introduce me to the class and after that we've started our class.

Then after a few minutes, we've taken our recess time.For some reason i didn't take my snack and just sit there reading an online comic.And a minutes later we've started our class again.Then after our class ended we've taken our lunch time(12:00pm). As i walk down the stairs someone suddenly bumped into me and i accidently shouted at her saying "hey! Watch were you're going!" and she began to cry.( oh no. This is bad, i hurt her. But i didn't do it on purpose i just overreacted and didn't control myself). So i tried to apologized to her but she ran away.Now i'm doomed first day of school and i already mess up ugh! i'm such a loser i hope she won't report me. I already arrived at my house and eat my lunch then mom suddenly ask me " son how was your first day of school?" and i said" it was fine mom" (not really fine because of what i've done to that girl) and then mom said" okay son, but if something is up you have to tell me, okay?" (mom i really can't tell you about that. Im sure if i tell you you'll scold me and think of me as bad bullied guy.) and i just said "okay mom".

After i've taken my lunch, i headed back to school and while there's a little time, i'll try to wait for her in the stairs of the school hoping she'll appear. *minutes later (its already 12:54 pm and just a little time our class will begin.) and still i didn't see her. So i just headed back to the classroom and wait for the teacher.

While i was sitting on my chair reading online comics, someone suddenly approaches me and said" hello, I'm Eva seventeen years old. Yours? What is your name?" and then someone interrupted her" didn't Mrs. Ann introduce him earlier?" and Eva said" yeah but i forgot it..." she smiles at me and said" so what is your name? " And i said" I'm Xian" and then she said" that's a beautiful name" and i said "thank you". Then she began to ask me millions of questions about myself (is this an interview?... I'm quite uncomfortable about this but since she is interested to know about me then i'll give her my answers) Then a minute later our class started.

After a few hours later, our class ended(and finally i can go home now!!). Then Eva approaches me again and said" Xian lets go outside together way to the school gate" then i said" okay". So we went down the stairs together way to the school gate and i saw her, the girl who bumped into me. And so i walk towards her so that i can explain and apologized to her, but she saw me and ran away. Then i lost the chance to tell that I'm innocent and lost the chance to apologized.(it seems like she's afraid of me. But why? Why is she avoiding me?) Then Eva walks towards me and ask" Xian what happened? Do you know her? " And i said "no i don't know her. It just she looks like my sister" and she said" oh okay" and i ask her" do you know her Eva?" and she said" yes, she's Irene, and she's from the class 10",, and i said" how do you know her?" and she said" ohh, she used to be my primary classmate, and she's also one of my closest friend" and i said" okay". So we went to our separate house after saying goodbye to each other.

The next day

I wake up, eat breakfast and just do what students mostly do. After a few minutes, i arrived at school. just walked way to our classroom. but then i didn't expect to see her (wow, early in the morning i see her again, As i stared at her she looks like a dazzling, shiny, bright and beautiful sunflower.Anyway, should i say goodmorning or hello to her or not?umm... maybe not today. ) But suddenly, She said something instead " hi um... about the day i bumped into you and about yesterday too im really sorry if i overreact i just didn't control myself" and i said" its okay, i also overreact the day you bumped into me.you dont have to apologized i should be the one to apologized to you for shouting at you."and she said "actually that day i've cried wasn't just because of you i was actually bullied by my classmate that day thats why im into hurry and i didn't even watch were i was going and after you shout at me i just can't control myself from crying ." and i said "but still im the one should be apologized, will you forgive me?" and she said" yes"so we continue our conversation while walking towards to our separate classroom and when i got in there i ask Irene saying" um, wait can we grab a snack together in recess time?" and i feel so relief that she agreed.

So i went inside the classroom and our teacher started our class.

After a few hours later, the bell rings and it's recess time. So i went outside to wait for irene. but suddenly eva ask me " xian where are you going?"and i said "im going somewhere for writing, its too loud here in our classroom i cant focus " and eva said" okay" then im going now. so just like that i went outside and irene is already here waiting for me. i said" irene im sorry for waiting" and she said "its okay. lets go." so were heading to the coffee shop and eat our foods then she suddenly ask me " um by the way how did you know my name?" and i said "um i.. actually the day i run towards you, i ask my classmate airi if she know you..." and she said "ahh thats why hahaha (its a fake laugh! i swear thats fake!!) bu--but im just doing it because i wanted to apologized to you." and she said "its okay you've apologized already and i already forgive you... oh by the way, i haven't introduce myself yet. im irene fifteen years old"and i said "thankyou for forgiving me (*smile). oh by the way im xian nian sixteen years old." and she said "are you a transferee?" and i said "yeah" and then we continue eating our food and talking about ourselves. then after eating i went ot the counter to buy water and eva saw me and ask " xian what are you doing here? i thought you were going to a place for your writing?" and i answered " yeah, i was going to, but unfortunately my friend invited me here to grab a snack" and she said "okay... then... i'll see you later" and so i went back to the table and brought water for irene.

Then the bell rings and so we went back to our separate classroom. and im glad teacher is not here yet so i continue reading an online comic. then a minute later our class started.

after a few hours later, our class ended and its our lunch time. so i just headed back home.(and i notice that eva was a bit mad. is she mad that i didn't invite her to come with me? or is she jealous? does she like me? did i hurt her? anyway i think i should better ask her and stop overthinking about it. but now i have to eat my lunch now.)

So after i've eaten my lunch, i headed back to school and at the classroom i ask eva.." eva!" and she said "huh?" and i said "come here!" and she said "why? what do you need?" um eva relax please. she said " what do you mean? i am relax" um i know i- i just want to ask you but please dont be mad and she said "im not mad xian.now tell me what's the matter?" um well... i notice you earlier, you were quite mad and you didn't even say something to me before our class ended. so i thought i did something bad to you and i was a bit worried so i decided to ask you why are you mad, why did you ignore me? is it something to do about taking snack with my friend? and she said "well xian im afraid you know me well. but i can't tell you right now its hard for me to explain... can i tell this next time xian?" okay if your not comfortable to talk about it now its okay eva.. you dont need to force yourself take your time i'll be waiting. and she smile and said "thankyou xian" so just like that i ask eva but i didn't get the answers...anyway so miss ann is in and our class has started.

a few hours our class ended just like the following days but then irene saw me and ask me " xian! do you want to go?"

and i ask "where irene? "then she said " well i actually decided to go to the library and i thought if i could ask you--" " then lets go!" i interrupted her. ops sorry irene for interrupting , i just love going in library. i actually went to library every afternoon when i was in 6th grade and she said "oh is that why ..AHHAHAHAHAH its okay lets go then but could you wait. i have something i forgot to bring" yeah its okay irene (that laugh wasn't fake.. i think she's happy now... im happy that she's happy. her face is full of happiness now and its making me smile, its like i've look at a sunflower with its dazzling shiny petals.) but then eva saw us and ask me "xian your friend is irene?" um yeah but it just happened because of that accident.(oh no, airi looks very jealous i think she misunderstood me) um... but eva dont worry i won't forget you, you're still my one and only best friend. i smile and she said "ok i'll go now bye." bye eva (that was cold. i never thought eva would be as cold as ice.) anyway irene already here and we're headed to the library.

so we got arrived at the library.(so since i dont know what to read.. so i need to whispered to irene and ask her to recommend me a book. ugh why am i nervous, i just going to ask her but in whispered) i whispered and ask irene. " irene would you recommend me a book? i dont really know what to read. its different from the library i've used to go." then she said "here. its entitled "sunflower girl" irene whispered. (her face is so close to me why do i feel like im having butterflies in my stomach) ohh that sounds interesting and she said "yep, it is" have you read it? and she said "yes a million times" so that means you really like this book?and she said "yes i like it very much thats why i recommend it to you" ohh okay i should read this now and then she said "okay xian".

So while Irene was busy reading her favorite book. i tried to read the book that she recommend it to me but then i can't focus at all and just keep staring at her.and i was really confuse of her she is such a mysterious girl but why do i feel everything i look at her she looks like a sunflower. does she like sunflower? what flower does she like? and while i was keep overthinking about what i think of her, i didn't notice her that she already saw me and walks towards me and said " xian, are you okay?" and i said "yeah im okay" and she said " are you sure?" i answered her "yeah im fine." and so she went back to her table and continue her reading.

While irene was reading, i brought my pencil and my sketching pad and i tried to draw her. i dont know what's in my mind i just feel like i like to draw her.

its 7:00 pm already and were still here in the library. and so irene and i decided to go back to our separate house. while we were walking together i ask her" let me take you to your house. its already night and its dangerous for you to walk alone " and she said " its fine xian but-----"and i interrupted "Please dont be naughty. just let me take you... just think this as a part of my apology" and so irene tell me where her house. Then a minutes later we arrived at her house then her mother saw me saying goodbye to irene. so irene went inside her house and then her mom stopped me and said " wait. wait!" and i said " yes maam?" and her mom said " are you my daughter' s boyfriend?" and i was shocked and i said " no maam you misunderstand me. im not her boyfriend maam. im still young to have a relationship maam. irene was just my friend maam" and she ask me " then why did you brought her here?" and i said " its taking her here maam was just part of my apology maam." and she said " what apology? did you hurt my daughter?" well maam i did but it was accident maam i didn't do it on purpose. and then she said " okay then you can go" thankyou maam. So i went back home and as i walk inside my mom stared at me and ask " where have you been? you make us worried!" um... mom i went to the library with my classmate. an---and we didn't notice that its already night so i just take her to her house... "her? shes a girl?!" mom yes "HAHAHAHAHA then why didnt you bring her home? " ( are you serious mom!? i was really nervous but then you just laugh at me?!.but thats okay besides shes my mom and i love her) after my mother said that i just keep quite and then my mom ask me "son?" yes mom? "are you okay? did i embarrassed you?" no mom im going to sleep now mom im really tired and my mom said "you've eaten dinner already?" not yet mom but im not hungry im just tired then mom said " okay son" so i went to my room and sleep.

The next day, i wake up and someone message on my phone so i took my phone and guess what our teacher announced that class for today is suspended due to holiday (yes!!! this is my chance. i cant wait to watch that movie!!). so i hurriedly eat my breakfast and do the chores and after a minutes later im done cleaning so i hurriedly click the movie app and started watching it (this is the best!!).

while i was watching my mom suddenly show up and ask me " son lets go to the market" (nooo i was watching mom ruined my plan. but i can't disobey mom) okay mom lets go. and so we went to the market buying some foods.

So as were in the market, i didnt expect to see her with her mom. Irene wave her hand and i also wave my hand then my mom ask me " is she the girl youre talking about?" yes mom and my mom said " whats her name then? " its irene mom, why? then suddenly mom called irene and i tried to zip her mouth and said mom what are you doing? youre embarrassing me and mom said " embarrassing? im not son... i just want to get to know her.. dont worry i wont hurt your crush" (crush?! mom what do you mean? i dont have feelings for her. were just friends mom friends!!) as my mom said... i just stand there while irene with her mom and my mom are talking. and after talking they leave the market and while my mom and i are still in the market paying for the bill.Then i ask my mother: mom what do you mean "your crush"? i dont have feelings for her mom were just friends and mom said " HAHAHAH really son? just friends? nothing else? HAHAH... look son you have feelings for her son, you like her son but you just didnt know that" and i said mom really i dont have (wait do i have feelings for her?) and mom said " well for now you dont have feelings son but soon you'll realize and understand your heart" (whatt? what happened mom? its my first time hearing you like this) and so after we've pay our bill we went home for lunch.

an hour later, we're already home. so my mom cook some of my favorite dish and while my mom was cooking i watch the movie and then after my mom finish cooking we've eaten our lunch together then mom suddenly said " irene is such a perfect girl for you son, you should follow your heart i know you like her its obvious son HAHAA " and i said " i dont know mom" and i smile and then mom keep asking tons of question so i just answered her like i did to eva when she was asking me lots of question HAHAH right now i actually miss her i wonder what is she doing right now.
