Adrienne walks into the pack's kitchen to find it as busy as normal and upon seeing her there, The kitchen maids bowed their heads in absolute respect.
They looked shocked as to why Adrienne was in the kitchen today.

The kitchen maids bowed in submission before walking out of the kitchen, one after the other.
Adrienne pulls up her sleeves and began to work. She started by chopping some onions and tomatoes into slim but perfect pieces, then she proceeded to make a mouth watering pasta and other side dishes
And in the next one hour, she was done

It has been so long since I worked this hard, I think I need to tell Damon to stop pampering me too much (Says with a smile on her face while wiping a thin trail of sweats from her forehead).
Suddenly, the door burst open and a girl of about 16 years old ran into the kitchen. Her eager eyes wandering around the kitchen until it stopped at the freshly cooked meals.

He says, however, Adrienne shook her head stubbornly making his eyes to darken in anger .

But Adrienne came to regret it later. Killian reached out his hands before grabbing her by the neck.
Adrienne gasped in pain as she was slammed hard to the wall.
Damon
Just sign these papers, you dumb b*tch! Just because I was able to tolerate your scheming attitude till today doesn't give you the right to refuse me, your Alpha!
His fist tightened around her neck, blocking her air supply.
She pinched his fist as hard as she could, begging him to stop!
She choked as tears rolled down her eyelids like a river.

Adrienne felt another sting at her heart, this time more intense than the previous one.
Adrienne looked into his eyes trying to send the message to him, to tell him that No, she would never do that to him because she loved him and only him.
After a few minutes, Killian threw her on the floor.

Damon said nothing in reply
Adrienne picked the documents before staring back into his eyes, trying to recognize the man she fell so hard for.

I'll sign the papers and have this returned to you immediately
He lit up a cigarette before placing it in between his lips then he nodded, clearly unconcerned about her agony and pain that he know he could feel through the mate bond.
Adrienne grabbed a pen from her bag before signing her name on the paper.
After doing so, Adrienne smiled bitterly and nod at him.

Adrienne turned around and walked away stiffly.

The next few weeks were a blur for Adrienne. she locked herself in her room, trying to distance herself from the rest of the pack. She didn't want them to see her pain, her anguish.
But even in her solitude, She couldn't escape the rumors that were swirling around the pack. They said that Raya was pregnant, that Killian had moved on from her so quickly. It was like a dagger to her heart
Adrienne didn't want to believe it, but the evidence was staring at her in the face. Killian wanted an heir so badly, and she couldn't give it to him on time.
And now, Raya was going to give him what he so much desired for a long time.
Adrienne felt like such a failure, like she had let everyone down. But most of all, she felt like she had let herself down. She loved Killian so much, and he threw her away like she was nothing.
Adrienne's throat hurt from crying all through the night and yet it never made her feel better, So she stood up and walked out of the room, heading towards the kitchen, a place where she could transfer her pain, anger and grievances towards the meat or veggies that would suffer being ripped apart ferociously by her sharp blade.
On her way to the kitchen, Adrienne bumped into a young woman who was the very cause of her pain and anguish. Raya Rosslyn Gael, she was a stunning young woman, with curves that accented her graceful frame.
She had a porcelain complexion with Rosy cheeks that stood out against her dark hair, which was styled in loose waves that cascaded down her back in a waterfall of luscious tresses.
Her deep brown eyes sparkled in the sunlight, and her long lashes swept downward like curtains.
She wore a red dress, the silky fabric clung to her every curve, tracing the lines of her body with effortless elegance.
It had a deep V neck that exposed just a hint of her ample cleavage, and the sleeveless design showcased her toned arms.
As she walked forward, the dress flared around her hips, the hemlines brushing the top of her golden heels. With each turn, the fabric caught the line and shimmered like flames.
She threw her hair over one shoulder and flashed a dazzling smile at me.

I was clearly on my way to meet you, I wanted to have a small discussion with you, Hope it isn't a bother (Speaks hypocritically)

Adrienne tries to walk away, but she was blocked by Raya
She smiles and walked closer to Adrienne, whispering into her right ear

Adrienne yelled in anger, however, what occurred next was a scene she never expected at all.

Hah!, Let's see, between you and me, who really needs to leave!
A malicious smile appeared on Raya's face and before Adrienne could react, Raya moved backwards and fell down the staircase with brutal force, blood tainting the white marble.
“Oh my Goddess!, Is that Lady Raya?”
“She is bleeding! Quickly call the pack doctor!”
“And inform Alpha Killian about this!”
Some pack members who were close by gathered after seeing the gruesome scene
As all this occurred, Adrienne stood there frozen as the pack members glared at her with detest. As Raya lay unconscious at the bottom of the staircase, Alpha Killian rushed to her side, concern etched on his face.
Damon
Who did this to her!!? (Asks in his Alpha Voice while looking up at the gathered pack members)
“It was Audrey, my Alpha. She was seen arguing with Raya just before she fell," One of the pack members spoke up, pointing a finger at Adrienne accusingly.
Adrienne
I didn't do it! I swear, I didn't push her (Shocked and scared by everything)
Adrienne protested, her fingers trembling beside her as she tried to make them see reason.
Damon
Enough! , I have heard enough. You still dare to lie after pushing Raya down the stairs, If you're telling the truth just like you said then are you trying to tell me that the pack members that were present when this occurred are lying! (Yells)
Raya
How could you do this, Audrey? (voice rang out, weak but filled with accusation)
Adrienne
I swear to you, Killian. I had nothing to do with this, Raya fell on her own! I'm telling the Truth ( pleaded with tears streaming down her face)
Raya
How could you lie, Audrey! You have always been jealous of me because I got pregnant with the Alpha's heir, and now you have gone too far!
Raya spat out, as the pack members looked at Adrienne with pure disdain.
Adrienne
That's not true, Killian, please don't believe her. I have never been jealous of Raya. I am innocent, Raya, Tell them the truth!
Suddenly Raya screamed in absolute horror, her face pale

Killian, My baby! Please save my baby, I beg you! ( Fake cries )
And that was when Adrienne noticed the blood dripping out from in between her legs and she knew, that things were going to get more ugly.
Upon hearing and witnessing what Raya had said, The pack members begged Killian to reject Adrienne and throw her into a prison cell where I would be tortured till she confesses.
Adrienne was thrown into the prison cell, left to suffer the consequences of a crime she did not commit.
It was a prison cell within the pack territory, where she was tortured and beaten mercilessly. Alpha Killian stood by the door, watching as his men inflicted pain upon her, yet he never stopped them
Adrienne begged for mercy, but he was deaf to her cries. He believed that she had committed this heinous act and would stop at nothing until she paid for it.
Days turned into weeks, and her body was left broken and bruised. She had been starved and beaten beyond recognition. She begged for death many times, but it never came. The Alpha had different plans for her.
Finally, she was brought before him once more.
Damon
Then let us get this rejection over with ( Says coldly.)
Adrienne took a deep breath, her heart hammering as she prepares herself as best she could.
Adrienne
Let's do this ( Replies, her eyes flashing with determination)
Adrienne will not show him how this was breaking her.
After observing her for a moment, Damon spoke those words coldly

I, Alpha Killian, Leader of the silver moon pack reject you, Audrey Westwood as my mate and Luna
Adrienne gasp, as pain rips at her chest, and she feels the violent pull of the bond tear through her, but she kept her head up, refusing to feed Raya's smug look of victory when they laugh over this moment together.
Killian is watching her, almost as if he doesn't think she has the courage to do it.

I Audrey Westwood, former Luna of the Silver moon Pack, accept your rejection, Alpha Killian.
A whimper leaves her lips as she felt the final threads of the bond between them break, and she's left in agony. Adrienne clutches her neck, feeling it burn.
Damon
You accepted, That's better, I thought I would have to force you.
He murmurs in the distance, but she couldn't focus, as the pain heightens, she's struggling to breathe. Her vision darkens and she turns her head to look at the man she once called her own.
It turned out, he had become a monster she couldn't recognize no matter how she looked at him.
Damon
You are a disgrace to this pack, Adrienne Audrey. You have desecrated the sanctity of our system. You will be banished from this pack, never to return. And if you ever show your face here again, I will personally execute you ( snarls at Adrienne)
Adrienne couldn't believe what she was hearing. She had given everything to this pack, and now they were throwing her out like she was nothing. Damon's actions and words were painful, but she had to comply. She was thrown out of the territory and left to fend for herself.
As she staggered away from the pack, her broken body shaking with sobs, She knew that her life would never be the same again. And just like Raya had said, She had lost everything - her love, her family, and her home. She didn't know how she would survive, but she knew that she had to keep going. As she looked up at the sky, the moon shining down on her, She felt a sudden sense of grief.
