AN:(MUST READ!!!)
Hello guys! This is my new story that I planned to publish next! If you haven't read my other novel, please take your time in reading my first book that I ever made. It was called "Princess Under the Moonlight". The first few chapters aren't really what I call great especially the grammar, but please bear in mind that I was still a newbie in the field of writing when I first started writing my first story.
Anyways, this is my second story and I hope you guys like it! And please enjoy reading and be understanding when you find some grammatical errors and just kindly comment if something is wrong with the chapters I write. I will not tolerate to those who will only badmouth my work. If you find anything wrong with it, just point out what's wrong and convey your thoughts respectively, but if you still don't like my story just please kindly leave this book and just stop reading it. Simple. I may not be one of those people who had experience getting badmouthed just because of their so-called "awful" stories but I only want to inform people who will read my stories beforehand and make things clear between us.
I am still quite young and I need plenty more time to learn this kind of thing. I will work hard to write more stories that will impress readers like you guys! So wish me luck!

Under the light of the moonlight, a slim figure was jumping on the thick branches from tree to tree.
That unknown figure was moving swiftly through the trees of the forest while holding a silver dagger in its hand.
The figure still kept moving in a swift motion, as if it was chasing its own prey.
Another figure is also running in a hassle but it doesn't have a human-like figure. In fact, it was a brown medium-sized wolf, dashing through the trees, as it's trying to run away from the mysterious figure that was still catching up.
The figure was still hot on its tail. The brown wolf wasn't able to shake off this unknown figure, even though it's running at full speed.
The brown wolf was starting to lose hope, this unknown figure was able to kill all of its members from the pack. No matter how strong they are, their strength still can't surpass this person!
The wolf can't even see his/her face since it wears a black hooded jacket that covers its head and a black mask that covers up half of its face.
And to top it all, this person doesn't have a single scent. The wolf can't smell it, as if it's scent was masked.
As the wolf kept running, it reached in a clearing in the middle of the forest.
The wolf planned to keep running, even though it's slowing down because of how much it ran.
Although, the wish to survive had become nothing but a pipe dream since the shadowy figure had unknowingly appeared in front of the wolf.
When the wolf saw the hooded figure, it came to a halt. It stopped running and was starting to pant from all the running.
The wolf wanted to back away and find another escape route but when it started to back away with slow yet steady steps, the mysterious figure pulled out a dagger that was laced with silver.
Escaping was not an option since this figure will still keep chasing it. The wolf had no other choice but to fight against that hooded figure.
The wolf growled at the figure. It readied itself and was already in a fighting stance.
The unknown figure tilted its head. Its red ruby eyes was glowing in the midst of darkness even though the figure was already showered by the faint rays of moonlight from the Red Full Moon.
The Red moon matched the color of the red orbs that mysterious person has.
The figure felt amused of how the wolf haven't given up yet. But..alas..the glimmer of hope for survival that the wolf has, will soon be crushed by the figure's own hands, as soon as the wolf was killed, that is.
As soon as the unknown person came closer, the wolf started to pounce at it, yet it's attack was futile since the shadowy person dodged its attack without fail.
The shadowy figure tilted its head once more, as if ushering him to come closer and attack again.
The wolf angrily growled at the figure. It's definitely being mocked by this person!
Before the wolf could make anymore moves, the figure suddenly disappeared and was not in front of him anymore.
The unknown hooded figure had suddenly disappeared in a blink of an eye.
As the wolf started to look around the area to look for the figure, it felt a sharp object being placed near its neck.
The wolf stood frozen in its place. It was unable to move. The figure was just suddenly right beside the brown wolf, and the wolf didn't even felt the person's presence at all!!
As if this person possessed the lack of presence that causes the wolf to be unaware of the person's movements.
The wolf felt a sharp pain in its neck and its bones started to make some cracking noise.
It backed away from the figure while shaking ferociously and soon, a brown wolf was no longer there but a man who was completely *****.
The figure had injected something to the wolf that forced him to shift back to his human form.
The man glared at the hooded person. His eyes showed deep hatred towards the figure.
"Why didn't you just kill me in my wolf form?!"
The man shouted at him. The man still kept glaring at the unknown figure.
The mysterious figure raised its eyebrow and tilted its head to the side.
"So it would be better to hear your screams when you're in human form."
The man was startled, he wasn't expecting for the figure to reply since it haven't said anything until now.
And also, it seems like the voice sounds like a girl.
The man growled angrily at her. He was about to attack even in his human form but was stopped because a silver laced knife was directly pointed near his neck.
"I would not move, if I were you~"
She said in a sickeningly sweet voice.
The man didn't listen, he directly attacked her with his claws sharpened and canines elongated.
"Oh my, you're so persistent."
The unknown female said and jumped away from the man when he directed his claws and canines at her.
The man stood up, and as he was about to attack the mysterious person, she was already charging at him with two silver daggers in her hands.
Before she could even kill him, he also stretched out both of his arms at her, to at least attack even once.
The figure wasn't able to kill him since his sudden movements were in her way so she can only wound him severely for now.
The hooded girl suddenly disappeared in a flash, not even sparing him some time to react at her movements.
Before the man could react, he felt a chill ran down his spine and he anxiously looked back. He stared in shock and fear.
The hooded figure was in mid-air and she stared him down with her cold yet fiery red eyes.
She was floating and it seems that time slowed down. Behind her was the red full moon, illuminating faint rays of red moonlight.
Her hood that was covering her head before, was suddenly taken off because of the wind.
It was really a girl, with her jet black hair flowing with the wind, pale white skin and her ruby red eyes staring you down coldly.
Even with her mask on, the man was a little fascinated by the girls' beauty.
Despite how he was fascinated by the girl this scene made the man shivered in fear. He felt that this will be his doom. It seems like his life lies in the hands of this mysterious girl.
The man felt immense bloodlust that was directed at him. Her cold eyes filled with intense thirst for blood stared him down.
The man shivered in fear, he couldn't do anything. As if her icy glares made him lose all will to move and escape.
As if her eyes saying that "you can't escape from me".
As if time had finally moved in its normal pace, the man saw the girl was coming near him while gently coming down to the ground.
In a blink of an eye, everything happened in a flash.
The man wasn't able to react since this girl is as fast as lightning.
The man wasn't able to react from the girl's movements but only let out an ear-piercing scream of pure torment and fear before the girl decapitated him.
"Ahhhhh!!..."
"Princess, it's time to wake up!"
In a medieval style bedroom, there was a slim figure lying in a queen size bed while surrounded by palace maids.
The figure that was lying on the bed groaned. She was covered by the thick blanket of her bed so her entire body was covered.
"Princess Ayame, please wake up, it is already morning."
A different maid said this time. This maid looks mature and more experienced than the other maids that was surrounding the bed of the princess.
She was actually the head maid that was in charge of everything that regards recruitment of workers, chore organizations, and many more. And despite having the title of being the "head maid", she doesn't really look like it even for her age.
And the reason for that is all of that's within the palace is mostly consist of vampires. That's why all of them look so young and fresh is because of the vampires' slow-aging trait.
Once again, Ayame groaned under her sheets. She wanted to sleep more but it seems that the maids won't let her.
"Fine.."
Ayame said and quickly got up from her bed. The palace maids helped her in freshening up.
She showered and after that, she wore a royal blue long-sleeve dress that reached her knees and a pair of blue flats to match her dress.
Her hair was in a braid, and was accessorized by a green ribbon at the end of her braided hair.
She doesn't like wearing some heavy dresses and some high heels despite being a princess since its too troublesome when you walk while wearing them so she usually wears some casual or at least some good formal clothes.
And it's already the modern era, she adapted well despite growing up in the old days before the modern era began.
Most of the people here in her kingdom already adapted to both the style and the ways of living of the modern world.
But despite that, there is still some things that didn't change like the style and the interior of the castle. It still remain unchanged.
Anyways, she walked out from her room and she was now walking through an also medieval styled hallway, with full sets of armor on the side, serving as decoration.
There were also large paintings hanging in the walls, as it also served as decoration.
She turned left, right and so on, until she finally reached the dining area where both her parents were already seated next to each other.
"Good morning mother, father."
Ayame greeted her parents and slightly bowed her head and she sat across her parents.
"Hm, good morning honey."
Her usual stoical father, Zeine, said while smiling warmly and stared softly at his daughter.
Both she and her father has the same jet black hair but his father has stormy gray eyes.
"Good morning sweetheart"
Akira, her mother, also said with a sweet and warm tone.
Ayame had inherited her mother's emerald green eyes but her mother has light brown hair.
Both the couple and the daughter ate in a comfortable silence.
"Haaa..good morning."
A voice was suddenly heard and broke the silence between the three and they turned their heads and saw the twin brother of Ayame, Akito.
Akito has the same jet black hair as hers but he has their father's gray orbs.
Akito might be Ayame's twin but they are both complete opposites. Akito is mostly the jolly and playful type while Ayame was the cold and emotionless type.
Akito might've gotten his personality from their mother who is known for being a joyful and sweet type of person while Ayame probably got her cold character from her stoical father.
"Oh good morning dear, come, let's eat breakfast together."
Akira said with a gentle warm voice, while Zeine just nodded, agreeing with his wife.
Before sitting with the other three, he gave everyone kisses in the cheeks and then he finally sat in a chair and happily ate with the others.
All of them ate in silence, the comfortable silence in the dining area hung in the air but was broken by the sudden cough of Zeine, gaining the attention of the twins and they both looked at their parents.
"Me and your mother were thinking of moving you guys to another school."
Zeine said without beating around the bush. Both the twins, even Ayame were shock.
"But why father? Why the sudden school transfer?"
Ayame asked while furrowing her eyebrows. Her academic performances weren't that bad, in fact, she was the top of her class. She's even at the point where she doesn't even need to study because she has a very high IQ.
Her brother doesn't have low grades either. Her brother is also smart but his IQ is as not as high as hers.
All in all, both the twins have excellent academic performances and they were at the level where they can be called prodigies.
"We thought that transferring you guys to a school filled with prodigies and elites might be the perfect fit for you two."
Akira said while sipping on her cup of coffee.
Both the twins thought for a while. They both think that it would be a good idea, since it had gotten quite boring with their school so they both think that it would be a good idea for them to transfer.
Despite them being complete opposites, they still think the same things like most twins would do.
"I think it would be a great idea! It's really boring at our school so a new school would be nice."
Akito said while shoving another spoon full of bacon on his mouth.
"Yes, it is a good idea."
Ayame said shortly while nodding her head.
The couple were glad that the twins accepted their school transfer so fast but they were wondering of what will be there reaction if they say something about their new school that they will be transferring.
"And about the school, it will be filled with humans, some vampires that are disguised as humans and....werewolves."
By hearing about the word "werewolves", Akito suddenly choked when he ate a sausage and Ayame that was drinking orange juice squirted most of the liquid out of her mouth.
Both of them were coughing and their parents just stared at them with flat eyes, wondering if they're being overreacting or not.
"What?! You can't be serious!!"
Akito exclaimed while slamming his hands on the dining table.
"Akito! Watch your manners."
Akira said sternly while looking at her son with warning eyes.
Akito suddenly gulped and he sat back at his seat. Nothing could be more scarier than an angry mother.
"Why did you choose such school?"
Ayame asked in a calm voice. She is more composed and calm than her brother so she is usually calm or expressionless no matter the circumstances.
"Because the school you are entering is one of the top five schools that is known to be the best."
Zeine said calmly while reading a newspaper in his hands.
"Grimoire Academy, that's the school that you're entering."
Their father also added while still reading his newspaper and sipping a cup of coffee.
"And it's more closer than the other five schools so you guys won't be needing dorms."
This time, Akira was the one who spoke.
"But mother, you know that we don't have good relationships with the werewolves. How are we suppose to cope with this?"
Akito said and frowned. Both their kind and the werewolves aren't in good terms since they have bad history with each other.
And also, even with the calm expression that his sister has. He knows she really hates those werewolves and even if she hides her true feelings, it will not be hidden from her literal other half, her twin.
"Ahh..I know you're gonna ask me that..so I asked a witch that has been a close friend of mine that she will cast a spell on you two so you could smell like humans and no werewolf will find out that you're vampires. Well..as long as you don't show your powers, it will be fine."
Akira said to her children reassuringly.
Both the twins couldn't help but sigh in unison. It seems that they have to act "normal" just to enter some school.
Well if it's for the sake of their knowledge expansion, then they guess it would be worth it. But they worry of what will happen to them in the future, now that they're being transferred to a school that crawls with werewolves. Well..they could only hope that nothing could possibly go wrong.
