The rain was falling heavily. It sounded like boots dropping on the rooftops. Elsa lay on her bed in her room thinking of how her new school would look like. Just then, she remembered Dan her ex boyfriend and Marie her former bestie.

"Mtcheww" she hissed immediately like a snake that it's tail has just been stepped on. Remembering them caused bitter sweet sensations to course through her .She rubbed her cheek as if remembering the feel of the slap Dan had landed on her face during their quarrel, Elsa could remember it just like it was yesterday

"Dan I can't believe you can do this to me "uh-huh" Dan had snorted.

"you were make out with Marie forgetting that she's my best friend "

"you're sounding like I forced her" Dan had replied her haughtily "

"Don't you have any self respect, she's my best friend " Elsa had yelled ecxasperatedly

"That doesn't sound like its any of my business"

" Dan can you just be reasonable for once? " Elsa had said at the verge of tears

" I'm being reasonable here by not yelling at you to go to hell "

" Huh? Dan what has come over you "

" you're just a little fool not to have seen it coming. Afterall she's your best friend " Dan had scoffed

" Dan? you just called me a fool! "

"that's what you are" Dan said just as Marie came to join them.

"What's wrong guys " Maria asked casually

" Your foolish friend here blames me for making out with you " Dan answered indifferently, just as Elsa kept staring like Alice in wonderland.

"Is that the reason for her whining and crying I've been hearing from over there? " Marie asked just as Elsa turned in polite disbelief to towards her.

" yeah "Dan replied casually.

" Marie you're my best friend and I don't expect this to be coming from you "

" yeah yeah, you're not the only beautiful or brilliant one, I've also got my own fair share of looks Ann shape "Marie replied haughtily .

" you sneaky little *****,I'll -------" Elsa began just to be cut short by a quick slap from Dan.

" Don't you dare insult her!!! " .

Elsa was dumbstruck, she couldn't believe what just happened. After sometime, she saw them hanging out together and sometime they would stop to kiss in front of her. At the sight of them kissing, Elsa had always broken down in tears partly out of disgust and partly out of the pain of betrayal. When her parents bought up the idea of moving away, she had readily accepted it with open arms.

Elsa Simons was a beautiful slim girl ,her hair the color of honey, which she always packed neatly in a bun. She had round hips and just perfect size of bosom that stood round and firm. She was a beauty to behold as she was also very fashionable ,she could hardly pass by without anybody turning twice to stare at the amazingly stunning girl. Apart from her looks,Elsa was also polite, kind, jovial, generous, and most of all brilliant. She took her studies seriously like her life depended on it. Aside all that, Elsa was also a member of the cheerleading club in her former school, because she loves sports and sporting activities .

"we're moving into a new neighbourhood within the next three days " Derrick, Elsa's father intoned.

"Wow dad what's the rush? " Elsa relied questioningly

"There's no rush but I think we've got to get settled before school re-opens ,so you can get started in your new school " Derrick explained at length. Just then, Elsa's Mom Patricia walked in alongside Elsa's little brother Benjamin who was five years old. Benjamin is a really cute boy with his blonde hair, pink lips and sky blue eyes. He took on his father's alluring tone and really looked handsome with his new haircut.

"Elsa please can you help take your little brother upstairs for a shower before dinner? "her mom asked

"Okay mom" Elsa said herding Benjamin up the stairs.

" And when you're done come help me out in the kitchen "her mom called to her.

"Okay mom " Elsa replied, her voice sounding over the banisters. ########################

The sun shone brightly as Elsa and her parents were packing up their things to move into their new home. The house was splendid looking and Elsa was happy getting a large room all to herself.

"Elsa! Elsa! " Elsa heard her name being called and she turned around slowly to find --------

"Elsa! "the voice sounded distinct jolting Elsa out of her reverie.

"Mom I'm coming "Elsa said as she hurried down the stairs.

"Can you help me get some sugar and coffee cream from the nearby kiosk? "

"OK mom". Elsa said taking the money her mom gave her as she walked out of the house into the bright sunshine ."This new environment sure is lovely " Elsa thought to herself as she walked into the kiosk. After getting the items her mother requested for, she turned around and left the shop.

" uuuuuuh" Elsa said breathing in the warm air. She turned around sharply as she felt a slight tap on her shoulder

"you dropped something " the boy who tapped her said handing over the fallen item t her

"Thanks " Elsa said as she raised her gaze from his hands to his face. He had the most mesmerizing set of blue eyes and long artistic fingers.

"you must be new in this neighborhood " the boy offered breaking her out of her thoughts.

"uh- yes"

"I'm Jeffrey but you could simply call me Jeff "

" I'm Elsa"

"Nice to meet you Elsa "

"Nice to meet you too" Elsa replied amicably .

"so where do you stay " Jeffrey asked

"I stay in three houses away "

"the one with the red tiling " Jeffrey asked

"yes"

"Wow! my house is the second house from yours " Jeffrey exclaimed.

" so that makes us neighbors " Elsa offered

"Well yeah " Jeffrey answered

"see you around then. I've got to get this items home to my mom before dinner " Elsa added as an afterthought.

"Good bye then"

"Yeah bye" Elsa said as she jogged quickly home.

"Wow, the neighborhood looks nice and the neighbors are nice I hope my new school would look as nice as this". Elsa said to herself as she was soon lost in daydreaming of her new school and wishing that Jeff would also be attending.

CHAPTER 3

Elsa looked around as she walked into her new school. "This place takes a resemblance to my old school ". Elsa muttered to herself stepping into the school's admin block.

"So you are Miss Elsa Simmons "

"Yes ma'am " Elsa replied the huge bespectacled mean looking woman seated before her. She was the principal.

"Welcome to sky high Senior High school "

"Thanks ma'am "

"You're to follow the set down regulations of this school in order to have a peaceful stay in this school "

"okay ma'am "

"Give me a minute ". The principal Mrs Buttress said picking up the microphone of the school's speaker and requesting for Miss Rachel Smith.

"Yes ma'am " a blonde answered to the call of the principal

"Miss Rachel Smith "

"Yes ma'am " the blonde answered

"You are to take Miss Elsa here to your class and act as her guide for the time being "

"okay ma'am" the blonde answered amicably

"you may leave now. Wishing you all the best Miss Johnson"

"Thank you ma'am" Elsa replied as she left the office with the blonde girl called Rachel.

"Hi, I'm Rachel Smith" the blonde said introducing herself

"And I'm Elsa Johnson"

"It's nice to meet you "

"The pleasure is mine "Elsa replied smiling as she took an instant liking to the brown-eyed blonde girl.

Jeffrey stared at the receding back of the new female student in his class. He hadn't gotten the chance to look more closely at her or talk to her. Just then, his girlfriend Anne Taylor walked up to him cutting off his line of thought.

"Jeff, Jeff "

"Huh"

"what are you doing here all by yourself? I've been searching all over for you "

"Nothing much " he replied shrugging

"It's fine. I was just worried cause it's unlike you"

"Thanks. I will not stay all alone next time." Jeffrey answered amicably still thinking of the new girl.

"I really am starving " Rachel whispered to Elsa as they settled down in the school cafeteria

"Same here" Elsa replied. They both ordered some food. As they were eating, something caught Elsa's eyes ;

"That face looks somewhat familiar " Elsa thought to herself

"What's wrong Elsa?" Rachel asked nudging Elsa and looking concerned

"Huh"

"I've been talking to you and asking questions but you seem to be focusedly staring in that direction for some time now"

"Really" Elsa asked

"Uh-huh "

"I was just thinking that I've seen that face somewhere before and I'm trying to recollect where " Elsa explained at length

"Whose face ? "

"That guy over there"

"which one ?"

"The one coming over"

"Oh you mean Jeffrey? " Rachel asked

"Jeffrey? Yes it's definitely Jeffrey" Risa said as realisation dawned on her; it was the same face that occupied her thoughts for some time now -----------

"Hi, Elsa " Jeffrey greeted cutting off Elsa's line of thought

"Hi Jeff " Elsa replied

"It's nice seeing you in my school you're most definitely welcome "Jeffrey said

"Thanks "Elsa replied amicably

"OK see you around then " Jeffrey said as he walked off with his friends.
